🌍Journey: Austria -> Switzerland.
My guest today is Pia Wiedermayer - my dear friend, colleague and a Quality Assurance Specialist at heart.
Her passion for software quality brought her from Vienna, Austria to Zurich, Switzerland in 2013. Her passion for cheese, chocolate and her Swiss husband made her stay.
👉Few take aways from a talk with Pia:
- No matter how long you stay in the country, be respectful, show interest in the culture, in the people. If you stay longer, try at least to understand the language.
- Be patient with yourself - give time to settle and find out how things work out in a new country.
- If you have missed Austrian food, you have missed Austria.
- Even if things do not work out well, we still learn from them.
