In this episode, Tracy O’ Carroll speaks with some of Ireland’s leading healthcare experts including; Paul Reid, CEO of the Health Service Executive (HSE); Phelim Quinn, CEO of the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA); Karen Greene, Deputy Chief Nursing Officer in the Department of Health; and Phyllis McNamara, patient representative with the Saolta University Healthcare Group, about the importance of listening to the people using healthcare services in Ireland.

They discuss the importance of gathering people’s experiences of services, and how the feedback received from patients is acted on to help drive improvements in the delivery of care.
