A brand is only as good as it is used. I’ve seen beautiful brands be underutilized and I’ve seen pretty horrific brands been used wayyyyy too much! Your goal is to spend your energy creating the brand that speaks you – your goals, your vision, your mission, your offerings to those who need you, want you and will invest in you – and then allow the brand to work for you. Put the brand to use in meaningful and empowering ways.
You know my philosophy – I don’t believe in movement without strategy – so don’t plaster your brand on everything just because you can. Instead, be methodical and select marketing materials and efforts that align with your brand promise and your business goals. That’s the sweet spot! And that’s where brand recognition and brand awareness have the best potential.
