Christian Straight Talk Real Faith, Real Scripture, Real Conversations
Christian Straight Talk is a bold, authentic, and uncompromising Christian podcast where Reverend Ben Cooper and Simon Pinchbeck speak openly about faith, life, culture, and the reality of following Jesus Christ in today’s world.
In a society filled with noise, pressure, fear, distraction, and competing voices, this podcast cuts through the confusion with honest conversation, biblical truth, and practical Christian living. Christian Straight Talk is not about performance, religion, or pretending to have life perfectly together. It is about real people, real struggles, real faith, and the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
Every episode is grounded firmly in Scripture and shaped by genuine conversation. Through biblical teaching, testimony, prayer, Scripture reading, and honest reflection, Ben and Simon tackle the issues many Christians think about but often struggle to talk about openly. Topics include identity, courage, mental health, anxiety, spiritual warfare, prayer, leadership, purpose, temptation, relationships, discipleship, culture, and what it truly means to stand firm as a Christian in modern Britain.
Alongside the core Christian Straight Talk discussions, the podcast now also includes Sunday Morning Services, Scripture readings, and Sunday Night Prayer gatherings, creating a complete weekly journey of biblical teaching, worship, encouragement, and prayer.
The Sunday Morning Service episodes feature powerful Bible teaching, Sunday service messages, Scripture reading, worship reflection, and practical preaching designed to strengthen faith and help listeners build their lives firmly on the Word of God. These services bring church, teaching, and encouragement directly into people’s homes, cars, workplaces, and daily lives.
The Sunday Night Prayer episodes create a calm and powerful space for prayer, reflection, healing, peace, and spiritual renewal before the week ahead. Through Scripture, prayer, and encouragement, these episodes speak into anxiety, fear, mental health struggles, financial pressure, exhaustion, relationships, and the real-life challenges people carry every day.
Reverend Ben Cooper brings decades of ministry experience as an ordained ELIM minister, chaplain, broadcaster, author, and founder of Global Blend Radio and RB Christian Radio. His ministry combines pastoral care, strong biblical teaching, and a passion for reaching people with the truth of the Gospel in a real and relatable way. Alongside him, Simon Pinchbeck brings honesty, transparency, practical wisdom, and the voice of everyday Christian men navigating life, faith, pressure, and purpose.
Together they create conversations that are challenging, encouraging, raw, compassionate, and deeply rooted in the Bible. Do Not Fear Tonight: Sunday Night Prayer For Peace, Anxiety & Rest
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Sunday night can feel heavy. The weekend ends, Monday gets closer, and your mind starts filling with pressure—bills, work, family, health, and everything still unresolved.
Tonight we slow everything down and anchor ourselves in Scripture, starting with Isaiah 41:10: do not fear, for God is with you. This is a Sunday night prayer for anxiety, peace of mind, and rest. If your thoughts feel loud or your heart feels unsettled, this is a moment to breathe, refocus, and bring everything to God.
We pray through Philippians 4, asking for God’s peace to guard our hearts and minds when anxiety feels persistent. We lean into Joshua 1:9, speaking courage over the week ahead, and we ask God to restore identity when life feels overwhelming or unclear.
This is real, honest prayer for modern life—covering mental health, stress, burnout, financial pressure, sleep struggles, and the weight many carry quietly. We also pray for those facing appointments, waiting for results, or dealing with uncertainty.
The service closes with communion, remembering Jesus’ invitation in Matthew 11:28 to come to Him when weary and burdened. This is not about pretending everything is fine. It’s about finding peace in God when life feels anything but calm.
If you need rest tonight, stay with us, pray along, and let Scripture settle your mind.

SPEAKER_00Good evening, good evening. God bless you wherever you are this evening. Thank you so much for joining us. You know, as we just gather around the word of God, as we gather around the cross, as you see those uh candles just gently burning there. Welcome this evening, you know, as we just gather for prayer wherever you are scattered across the world. We pray that the love of God and the Spirit of the living God will just carry you wherever you are right now. The love of Jesus Christ is over your life. He is yes and amen. He is the great I am, you know. Come on, we're gonna jump straight into prayer wherever you are. Thank you for joining us right now on RB Christian Radio. Thank you to everybody on X that are watching those candles burn there, wherever you are, you know, sitting on the sofa, sitting in your chair, sitting on your patio, in a van, in the car, sitting on your bed, whatever you may be doing right now, and have a cup of tea or a cup of coffee. The Spirit of the Lord is with us. It is Sunday evening, it is the 26th of April, and we are about 14 minutes past nine. We're gonna jump straight in to the book of Isaiah 41, verse 10. But before we do, I just want to say thank you to everybody that was uh on church this morning on live stream, and for those that was in the house, thank you to everybody that was with us this morning uh across the world as we touch so many countries this morning across the world. Thank you to everybody. You know, keep sending your emails into info at dailyprayer.uk. If you've got a prayer request, please email us into the studio. If you need a Bible, please same again, same email address, come straight through to the studio, and we will deal with that wherever you are across the world. But the love of God, there are crazy things happening across the world at this moment in time, but we're just gonna trust God because all things are possible to those who believe. And again, welcome to everyone that is across the world this evening. Everybody that is an RB Christian Rodeo, wherever you are, commuting across the world. We're gonna jump straight into the beautiful book, as I've said, to the book of Isaiah 41, verse 10. And the Bible says, So do not fear, for I am with you. I will strengthen you and help you. Father, we come to you right now. Lord, on this gentle Sunday evening, Lord, with the noise of the world on the outside, Lord, we just come to you in peace. And we say, Father, I just pray, Lord, that you'll bless everybody right now that feels agitated, that feels scared and worried about life, that you'll just strengthen us, carry us and help us. Whatever the circle of our life looks like, whatever the circle, dear God, of our life is looking like, we just come to Jesus Christ and we sit at the cross right now and we just look, dear God, down the lens, and as we stare at those candles and that cross just gently in the backdrop, we thank you, Jesus, that there is power in the greatest name in heaven and earth. And Lord, we're never gonna give up. Lord, we're gonna push in, Lord, because God is with us. God is with you wherever you are across this world. As you just gently look at those candles, that cross just in the backdrop of the church, and as we just sit in the church looking down, looking down the uh hallway of the church right now, just looking down there and just staring at those candles at the cross. Wherever you are, we're just gonna pray and we're just gonna trust Jesus. We're in the book of Isaiah 41, and we're just taking a moment just to gather our thoughts wherever you are across the world, you know. Thank God for your life. The Bible is so clear it says, do not fear, so we're not gonna fear. I don't know about you, brothers and sisters, wherever you are across the world, but it is the most difficult thing to do, to live by faith. Sometimes we're stretched outside of our human mind, beyond human understanding, and that has to be right and true because we've got to just walk by faith. But without further ado, come on, we're connecting everywhere now. We're gonna jump straight in. Father, we come to you right now, and we believe in miracles, we believe in the love of God. We thank you for Isaiah 41:10. Lord, you tell us, do not fear, for I am with you that you are with us, Lord, that you are the God above all gods, you are the king above all kings, you are the father above all fathers, you are the great I am, you are the lily of the valley, you are the first and you are the last. You are the king above all kings, and in the stillness of this night, Father, at 17 minutes past nine, on this Sunday evening live in London, Father, we press out to you right now, Jesus. We stretch out, Lord, we lock shields of faith together. Each and every one of us stands together in the gospel of hope right now, and we call on the greatest name in heaven and earth, and we call on the name of Jesus, Lord, and we we thank you that there is power in that name, Lord. And Lord, we want to walk in that name, Lord. We don't want to walk in fear, we don't want to walk in doubt. And Lord, what we see across the world, what we see, dear God, happening across the news channels, across the social networks. Lord, we want to walk, dear God, in favor. We want to walk in mercy. So Lord, as we just gently move into this prayer time together, wherever everyone is across this world at this hour, whatever their life is reflecting, wherever we are right now, Lord, you tell us to do not fear. So do not fear. So Lord, help us not to be fearful, help us not to doubt, Lord. Help us, dear God, to walk in the presence of your word. Help us, dear God, to walk in the light of your glory. Help us, Lord, just to take one step at a time. Father, we come to you right now in the greatest name in heaven and earth. And Lord, again, as we lean into the great prophetic book of Isaiah 41, 10. So do not fear, for I am with you. Father, I pray for those that are getting prepared for work, for those, dear God, that are getting stuff ready for tomorrow, for those that are just trying to relax, dear God, and trying to declutter their mind. I pray, Lord, that you'll help us to declutter our mind, Lord. Father, we need to declutter. And we need your strength. We need your love and we need your mercy. Father, as we look across the world right now, we see, dear God, many areas, dear God, of frustration. Many areas, dear God, that are outside of our control. And Lord, we just have to look on. We have to look on and just say, Jesus, please, God, help us, Lord, with the barrel of oil. Help us, dear God, with the diesel and the petrol. Help us, dear God, tonight. Father, we need you to help us practically, Lord. We need you, dear God, to show up in our lives. We need the glory, the love, and the power of Jesus Christ. And you tell us not to fear. For you are with us. So Lord, I pray, Lord, wherever we are across this world, that we will feel your love, your mercy, your saving grace. That your presence, dear God, will just sweep down in our lives. Lord, that your hand will be upon us. The righteous right hand of the God of Israel, the King of kings and the Lord of Lords. You are worthy of all praise. And we lean into Scripture tonight, Lord. We lean into the Word of God. Father, there's nowhere else to go. Lord, I just pray, dear God, that we won't allow ourselves to get absorbed, dear God, into the news channels and the news out there, the left wing, the right wing news, Lord. And Father, we won't indulge, dear God, too much in what the world is saying. Lord, that we will find that place, dear God, of freedom. Because you are the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. And Lord, we just pray right now, Lord, for hope. We pray for miracles. We pray, dear God, for worry and fear. Lord, we pray, dear God, for those that are scared about life. I'm not even sure why we're scared about life. That we just pray, dear God, and say, Lord, bring comfort to every heart tonight. Bring peace to every heart tonight, Lord. Lord, we just pray, Lord, that your love and your grace, dear God, favor will abound. Your mercy, your goodness, your presence, dear God. Father, we thank you for your presence that's over our lives. Lord, let there be a stirring tonight. Let us feel the love of Jesus. Father, just in the stillness, Lord, it's been a crazy weekend. It's been a crazy day, Lord Jesus. Lord, it's been a crazy week, a crazy life. Lord, we're just flat out, stretched out. And right now, Lord, we come to you, Lord, and just trying to find some rest tonight. Lord, I pray, dear God, for the outside noise of life. Lord, I just pray, dear God, for the influence of life over our lives. Lord, that we won't allow the world to influence us. That we won't allow the crowd, dear God, that we won't blend in, dear God, and we won't just become part of the crowd, but Lord, that there will be a clear difference to each and every one of us. Because we're Jesus followers. And Lord, we love you, Jesus. Father, we thank you, dear God, that fear is going, that doubt is going. Lord, I thank you, dear God, that you're putting food in the tables, food in the cupboards, dear God, food, dear God, and you're feeding the children, you're putting shoes on their feet, clothes on their back lawn. So, Lord, we're not going to fear about the food bill. Lord, we're not going to get frustrated about the petrol pump and the diesel pump. Lord, we're not going to allow society and culture to get us all frustrated and fearful and scared. Lord, you tell us again and again and again through the Word of God. Oh God, you tell us over 375 times. Do not be afraid. Do not be afraid, dear God. All the way through Scripture, do not be afraid. So Lord, I pray right now that we won't be afraid, that we won't allow fear and panic and worry and doubt to carry us. But Lord, that we'll be steadfast in the word of God. And you tell us, Father, through the great book of Isaiah 41, 10, that you will strengthen us and help us and you will carry us. Lord, we need you to carry us. For those that are weary and tired, Lord, we need you to carry us, Lord. Father, will you carry each and every one of us? Wherever we are, Lord, sitting indoors, sitting on the patio, Lord, driving, crisscrossing the world, whatever we may be doing. Lord, we pray that you will strengthen each and every one of us, Lord. That we will not fear. Because you are with us, Lord, help us to breathe right now. Help us to breathe, God. Lord, help us to inhale and to exhale and to realize, Lord, that you are the air that we breathe, Lord. You are every breath. God, you're in the oxygen, you're in the air. You're in them tiny vapor particles that are in the world right now, in the atmosphere. Father, you are all present, all God, all King. You are the great I am. And Lord, we're praying for calmness tonight. We're praying for the divine just to carry us in the stillness of this prayer together, Lord. Help, dear guide, every one of us, not to be fearful, but to breathe. Help us to breathe, Lord. Not to have a panic attack and be worried about the children of life, the circle of life, things that are happening in our lives. Help us, Father, to be focused on Jesus Christ, our Lord and our Savior. Just in this still time, Lord, we pause. And we just calm it down a little bit, Lord. And just say, Holy Spirit, Lord, it's been a fierce old day today, Jesus. Lord, my mind, dear God, has been racing. My body's tired and weary and exhausted. And we just come to the cross of Calvary and we look down the lens right now. And Father, as we look at those candles just gently burning there, Lord, as the screen says, God is with you. Father, we thank you that you are with us, that you never leave us nor forsake us. So Lord, we pray for anyone that is worried about their health, any health conditions. Lord, we pray for those that are scared, dear God, about going to the hospital, going to the doctors, getting results, going for checkups, scans. We pray for those that are just worried about their body at this moment, dear God, that just don't feel right in the skin that they walk in, those that just feel really scared about living, about moving forward, those that just feel unsure about life and not quite sure. Why do I feel like this, Jesus? Why do I feel a little bit out of sync? Lord, what is wrong with me? Father, what is wrong with me, Lord? What is going on in my life? Holy Spirit, we pray, Father, for mental health. We pray, dear God, as we're hearing that word, get louder and louder. So, Lord, we will not fear. We're going to lean into Jesus because you tell us that you are with us, that you will strengthen us and help us. So, Lord, we need your help right now. We need to strengthen what Isaiah says, Isaiah 41, 10. I will strengthen you and help you. So Lord, at the beginning of that text, Lord, you tell us not to be fearful, not to doubt, and not to be scared because you are with us. And Lord, I get a little bit jealous. Lord, just a little bit jealous, Lord, of the disciples that walk with Jesus. I know I shouldn't get jealous, Lord, but I just got to tell you how it is, Father. Just got to be real, Lord, because it's no good hiding it. So Lord, I get a little bit jealous of the disciples that had the privilege of seeing the autonomy of Jesus, of seeing the physical Christ. And now, Lord, we're 2,300 years or so up the track. And Lord, it's tough, Jesus, to go by faith. Sometimes, Jesus, I've got to be honest, I get scared, Lord, because I pray, Lord, reveal yourself. And it feels like heaven goes quiet, Jesus. Holy Spirit, it feels like everything goes quiet the more I want Jesus. The more loud, the louder the world gets. The more I ask to see you. Lord, to touch the tangible presence of the King. It goes quiet, Lord. So Lord, I get a little bit jealous, Father. A little bit jealous of the disciples that was able to walk with you for a good few years. Holy Spirit, Lord, I ask you, dear God, for those that want to see your glory. Father, will you unzip? Will you unzip that heaven right now, Lord? Lord, will you just zip open the heavens so that we can just see through the clouds, see through the sky. Just see into glory right now, Lord. Holy Spirit, Lord, we want to see the glory of the God. Lord, it's tiring going by faith, Jesus. It can be wearing. It can be really tiring because, Lord, the world is so loud. Lord, the world is so noisy. Father, all we're hearing is about wars, rumors of wars. Social media, Lord, is telling me that I should be living the dream. Lord, and just life itself seems to be so loud and it can be so tiring, Lord. Lord, we're working hard, Jesus. Father, we're up early, we're out the trap. And Father, we're out all day, Lord. And sometimes, Jesus, living in a world that's so materialistic, living in a world that is so anti-Jesus. Just sitting on the motorway, Lord, stuck in traffic, looking around. Holy Spirit, I pray, Lord, that you will reveal yourself to us. Lord, that we will see angelic hosts put to flight because God is concerned over our lives. So Lord, help us to live by faith. Help us to live by faith, God. We need you, Jesus, in our lives. Lord, you tell us that you will strengthen us and help us and carry us. But Lord, we want to see the divine. Lord, we want to touch the tangible presence of Jesus. Father, we want to feel the presence of the King in our lives. Holy Spirit, Lord, we're we're hungry for more of Jesus. Lord, all we see, dear God, on the news channels are leaders. All we see, dear God, is stuff we don't want to see. And Lord, we want to touch the hand of Christ. Lord, we want to touch the hem of his garment as that lady did with the issue of blood. Father, we just want to touch the hem of the garment of the King. Lord, sometimes, Father, just sometimes, Jesus, it gets a little bit tough down on the earth. Working, living. So Lord, through this prayer time together tonight, will you strengthen all of us, Jesus? Because Lord, we're tired. And we need breakthrough. So Lord, we believe in breakthrough. And we need the breakthrough. Lord, we need stability. Father, we need peace of mind. So Lord, we're calling on you tonight, Lord. But there's a lot of anxiety in the world. There's a lot of tension, Jesus. Lord, there's a lot of uncertainty before our eyes, Lord. So Lord, as we call on you at this hour, we say, Jesus, will you help us not to be anxious about anything? Will you help us, Lord, to be focused on the King? So Lord, as we pray through the book of Philippians 4, the Bible says, do not be anxious about anything. And the peace of God will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. So Holy Spirit, Lord, as we've just started out in the book of Isaiah 41, 10, you tell us, so do not fear. For I am with you, I will strengthen you and help you. And then Lord, we turn the pages of the New Testament, Lord, and we land on Philippians 4. Do not be anxious about anything. So again, Lord, we're looking at scriptures about anxiety and fear and doubt and worry. And Father, I thank you that the word tells us. The word tells us a lot about fear. That it's one of the most natural things is to get anxious and to be scared. Because it's part of the human makeup, it's part of our our system, it's part of our our makeup, Lord. So Lord, I want to say thank you, Jesus. That the word tells us over and over again not to. But Lord, when we do, you don't get frustrated and you don't get angry with us. Because it's part of the human race. But Lord, I pray tonight that we'll be anxious about nothing. Because you tell us, Father God, do not be anxious about anything. But Lord, it's okay reading it, Jesus. Oh, Holy Spirit, Lord, it's okay, Lord. I read it and I see it with my eyes. But Lord, as I read it, I've still got in the back of my mind that anxious thought about the money, about the bills, about the mortgage, about the rent, about the car, about the car tax, about the tyres on the van. Lord, there's still a bit of anxiety rolling around my head, Lord. So Lord, I need you to deal with the anxiety, Lord, because I can't seem to shift it, Lord. I can't seem to move it, Lord. It's so stubborn, Jesus. Lord, it's just in the back of my thinking. Lord, it just sits in the back of my mind. And sometimes, Jesus, we feel the anxiety and the worries and the fears just rumbling around, Lord God. Our system, just like a volcanic eruption about to erupt. And we try to suppress it. We try, dear God, to not focus on it. But Lord, it just rises, Lord. It just rises like a volcano, Jesus. And Lord, it becomes uncontrollable. And sometimes, Lord, it overtakes my mind, Lord. And then I can't think right, Jesus. And my mind is just all over the place. My brain, dear God, is scrambled. Lord, I ask you, dear God, that you will help my mind to be steadfast. I pray, dear God, for the thinking, our thinking capacity. I pray, dear God, as the Bible says, do not be anxious about anything. And the peace of God, which guards your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. So Lord, we need stability. Holy Spirit, we're living in a world that is not stable. But it actually is stable because it's only dancing to the word of God. So, Holy Spirit, I pray, Lord, as we as we walk through life, as we run through life, as we crawl through life, as we dance our way through life, as we just get through life, however we get through life, Lord. I pray, dear God, that we will walk in the great book of Joshua. Father, that you will help us to be strong and courageous. Lord, that we will swap anxiety and fear for courage. That we will swap anxiety and fear, dear God, to be strong. And Lord, we walk in the book of Joshua 1 9. And Lord, we thank you for that beautiful book of Joshua. Lord, the great book of Joshua that tells us to be strong and to be men and women of good courage and never give up. So Lord, even dear God, when when the fear rises, we're going to be strong and we're going to be courageous. And Lord, we're going to learn to walk in courage, we're going to learn to walk in authority. And we're going to learn To walk in new beginnings and courage. Holy Spirit, I pray, dear God, as we walk in courage and strength, we find our identity again. Holy Spirit, I pray for anyone, Lord, that just feels that their identity, Lord, as they look in the mirror, we're not sure who we are. We're scared of what we see. We're worried about what might be. Holy Spirit, we pray for those that have lost their identity in life. We pray for those, dear God, that have had their identity swiped away because of the busyness of life, family and children and work, the pressure of money, work and church, society and social media, Lord, when we when we look at the way of the world, Father and culture, Holy Spirit, I pray that we will know who we are. Lord, that when we look in the mirror, we say, Thank you, Jesus. I'm finding myself again through the word of God. Lord, I'm finding myself again, Jesus. Lord, I'm I'm finding that way back. So Lord, I'm gonna be strong and I'm gonna be of good courage today. And Lord, at 36 minutes past, dear God, nine. Holy Spirit, we come to you right now on this Sunday evening. And Lord, we're gonna be strong and courageous as this week unfolds. On this Sunday evening, we're gonna walk in strength, we're gonna walk in power. And Lord, I pray, dear God, as the curtains on today begin to close, our eyes are tired, our eyelids are flicking. Holy Spirit, I pray right now that the power of God and the Spirit of God and the anointing of God will give us courage because there is a new day. There is a new day about to give birth over our lives. There are promises that God has called you to. So Lord, we thank you, dear God, for that law. We thank you, God, for the law. We thank you for that law, that God's law, the spiritual law, the law that I need to speak, the God's word. So, Father, I thank you, dear God, as I speak the word over our lives. Lord, we speak healing, we speak calmness, we speak peace. And Father, I thank you, dear God, that worry is gone, fear is going. And Lord, I thank you for the journey of life, the journey that we're on. Lord, we thank you, dear God, that there is a move right now of your presence, Lord, that we are healed. Lord, we just want to say thank you for healing tonight. Thank you, Lord, that sickness is gone, fear is gone, doubt is gone. Lord, every organ in our body, Lord, is functioning correctly. Lord, we thank you that we are seeing correctly, that we are hearing correctly. We thank you, Father, that our speech and pronunciation is working correctly. We thank you, dear God, that our bones, dear God, are strong. We thank you, dear God, blood pressure is perfect. We thank you, dear God, headaches are gone. Lord, we thank you, dear God, backaches are gone, hip joints, dear God, are new. We thank you, dear God, that you're healing knees right now, ankles and bones. We thank you, dear God, that muscles are being strengthened. We thank you, dear God, blood disorders are being corrected right now. Every organ in our body is well. We thank you for the power of healing. We thank you for the power of the word of God. Lord, we believe in healing. We believe in the power of the law of God. The spoken word. We thank you, dear God, for that word, that spiritual word that gets spoken over our lives. So Lord, I pray, Lord, that we will watch the circle of company of people that we keep. You tell us, Father, that iron sharpens iron. So Lord, I pray, dear God. And I thank you that fear is gone, anxiety is gone, and we're walking in strength and we're walking in courage. So Lord, I pray, Lord, for the circle of our life. Lord, we believe in healing. So Lord, I pray, Lord, that we won't be hanging around negative people. That we won't be listening, dear God, just to the chitter-chatter of the world. We won't indulge ourselves in gossip. We won't indulge ourselves, dear God, in what the world is saying. But Lord, we'll listen and we'll speak that law over our lives. And Lord, that we will see that law, that spoken word of God, just coming into fruition. That word, Lord, that we speak over our lives. That we're healed. That we're healed in the name of Jesus. That there is healing in that beautiful name. Just pray that name over your life right now. Wherever you are at 9 40, Sunday, the 26th of April. Pray the prayer over your body. Say, Lord, I'm healed. Lord, I'm not walking in fear anymore. I'm healed in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. I'm well. Thank you, Lord. I'm strong in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Lord. I'm sleeping well. Thank you, Lord, that I've got courage in you. That I've found courage in the name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. And Lord, as we pray through the Word of God, we thank you that we're healed. By your stripes, we're healed. By the blood of the Lamb, we're well. We thank you, Jesus, that you were the sacrifice. And Lord, that you are our shepherd and you restore our soul. And we walk in paths of righteousness. And we just pause at this moment, Lord, and we just draw a breath. And we say, Jesus, wherever we are across the world, Holy Spirit, we just focus a minute and take time out. And say, God, you are our refuge. And you are our strength. An ever-present help in trouble. The psalmist writes that in Psalm 46:1. God is our refuge and strength. An ever-present help in trouble. So Lord, I realize that you're with me in the crisis. You protect me. You give me stability. Even when, dear God, I get still a little bit jealous of the disciples, Lord. I wish, dear God, I could have seen the physical Jesus. Oh Lord, I wish I could have touched the tangible presence of the King. Just to see the King in front of us. Holy Spirit, just to see God in the flesh. And the word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. Holy Spirit, I pray, dear God, that you will reveal yourself to us. As we lay in bed right now, we sit on the chair, sit on the sofa, in the van, commuting across the world. Lord Jesus, just reveal yourself to us. Holy Spirit, reveal yourself. God of Israel, reveal yourself. Just reveal yourself, your presence. Lord God, we want to see Jesus. The tangible presence of the King. The tangible presence of the Messiah. In the unusual way the world is unfolding right now. Lord, I thank you that you are our God in a crisis. So Lord, in this unusual wave of society that we're in, this heavy atmosphere, the feeling of uncertainty. I thank you, Lord, that we do not indulge in it and we do not engage in it. Because, Lord, every day we're learning to live by faith. Every day, Lord, we're learning to live by the word of God. Every day, Lord, we're learning, dear God, to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit. So we come to you right now, Lord. And Lord, I pray that we will trust in the Lord with all of our heart. We will trust in the Lord with all of our heart. And we will not lean on our own understanding. Lord, but in all of our ways, we will acknowledge you, and you will make our path straight. So Lord, as we pray through Proverbs 3, Lord, help us to trust in the Lord. Oh Jesus, I can see Lord again coming back to the Gospels. Lord, it must have been so beautiful to see Jesus. But then, Lord, the word tells us they didn't truly know who you was. But Father, 2,400 years down the track of history, we want to see Jesus. We want to see your presence. We want to feel that glory and that anointing. The tangible presence of Jesus. Where Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John had the privilege. The rest of the disciples, culture and society, Lord, was just around Jesus, was able just to touch him, to see him. But Holy Spirit, Lord, we've got to go by faith. So help us to trust in the Lord with all of our heart. Father, sometimes, Lord, sometimes, Lord, it's so difficult to live by faith. Sometimes, Jesus, it's so tough to realize that you are our refuge and strength. Sometimes, Lord, it's so difficult to realize that you are our rock and our redeemer. Sometimes, God, it's so difficult to walk in the book of Joshua, to walk in strength and walk in courage. Sometimes our mind and the weariness and the fatigue of being a human being just overtakes us. And suddenly, sometimes, Jesus, that fear comes in like a flood and it crashes down on us, Lord, and we feel crushed and we feel scared. But Holy Spirit, Lord, I pray. Lord, that you will lift us out of the mud and out of the mire, out of the quicksand, dear God of life, and you will lift us up in the name of Jesus. That we will feel your presence and your mercy, your saving grace. Lord, help us to realize that you are our shepherd, that you are the good shepherd, that you are the redeeming king, that you are our security and our comfort, our guide, our peace. Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nisi, Jehovah Shalom. Help us to realize that you are the Lion of Judah, that you are the great I am. Help us to trust in the Lord with all of our heart. And lean not on our own understanding. Lord God, just come into our lives, Lord. Lord, just reveal yourself to us tonight. Wherever we are, Lord, listening on radio, watching down the camera lens, Lord. Lord, wherever we are across the world, we need Jesus. Holy Spirit, we need Jesus. Oh God, we need Jesus. So Lord, help us not to be fearful, to be scared, but to be strong and steadfast. Lord, you tell us that you will strengthen us and you will carry us. Lord, let us feel the arms, the arms of Christ around us. Carry those that feel brokenhearted tonight. Carry those that are scared and doubtful. Worried that have got so much fatigue in their bones. Lord, bless those, dear God, that are so tired tonight they can't keep awake. Bless those, dear God, that are worried about tomorrow, work, and life. As this evening unfolds at 9.48 on this Sunday evening, Holy Spirit, Lord, we need you. God, we're calling out to the name of Jesus. And we're looking for trust. We're looking for hope. We're looking for the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. And Lord, I pray that we will know that the plans that you have for us are plans to give us a hope and a future. Plans to move forward. Plans to live by faith. Plans, dear God, to see a new sunset. To see, dear God, a new dawn. To see, dear God, a new day, a new moment, a new job, a new life. Holy Spirit, I pray, Lord, that we won't get entrenched in the monotony of life. Just in the humdrum of this and that. But Lord, that we'll be able to step out of the humdrum, the monotony of life. Lord, that we'll get off the trampoline of monotony. Lord, that we won't bounce with the crowd. Lord, we won't fall into the crowd and get lost within the crowd. But Lord, that we will realize who we are in Christ Jesus. That we are healed, that we are blessed and highly favored, wonderfully and fearfully made. Lord, that we will walk strong in power, in anointing, that we will walk in the love of Jesus. Because there's a plan over your life. There's a purpose over your life. A plan to give us a hope. And a plan to give us a future. Lord, I pray that we will keep our eyes on Jesus. Our focus will be on Jesus. Holy Spirit, I pray, Lord, as we pray through at this hour on this Sunday evening, at 10 minutes to 10, that the Word of God will strengthen us and carry us. Your love and your grace will be over our lives. Spirit of the living God, we need you, Jesus, like never before. Holy Spirit, we need you in our lives, Lord. Father, we need you to strengthen us to carry us. Lord, we need your anointing. We need your grace. We need your love. Holy Spirit, I pray. Lord, that you will carry each and every one of us. Lord, remove the worry, remove the fear, remove the doubt, Lord. Help us to trust in the Lord with all of our heart. And Lord, that you will make a way. Because you are a way maker. Even though, dear God, we look at the wall of life, even though that we look at the wall, dear God, of uncertainty. As we look at the wall, dear God, of the wall of fear, the wall of doubt, the financial pressure, the strain, dear God, of life. As we look at that wall, we thank you, dear God, that that Jericho will fall. That Jericho of sickness and disease, that Jericho of doubt, that Jericho of uncertainty, that Jericho, dear God, is falling right now. So, Father, I thank you that we're just going to be obedient and we're going to trust you at your word. We're just going to trust you at your word, Lord. Because Lord, there's nowhere else to go but to lean into the beautiful scripture. And Lord, we thank you that there is a plan over our lives. A plan that we can prosper, that we can live and move forward in a world, dear God, that is so dangerous and so fragile, that we can live a full and a blessed life. Because there are promises. Holy Spirit, we thank you for the promises of God. And Lord, I pray, Lord, that we will realize that the promise is for every one of us. The promises are yes and amen. The promises of a new life, the promises of a new beginning, the promises of a new day, the promises of healing, the promises of peace. So Lord, I ask you that the promises of Scripture will penetrate our heart tonight. And Lord, that we will realize that Jeremiah 29, 11 is alive and well. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans that give you a hope and a future. There's a hope for you. There is a future for you. There is a place for you. And Jesus is calling. You're tired and you're weary, you're exhausted, bit fed up, bit upset with life, a bit annoyed, a little bit angry, fed up, cheesed off. Holy Spirit, Lord, help us, dear God, to be focused. Lord, we're tired of the news. Lord, we're tired of the news, Jesus. We're tired of the way of the world. And Lord, we want to walk by faith. And Lord, we want to walk, dear God, in complete faith. And Lord, we step up and we step in and we move forward right now in the name of Jesus. And Lord, we thank you that there is healing in the Word of God. Lord, we're going to speak healing. We're going to believe healing. We're going to pray for healing. We're going to pray that the promises of God will descend like rain. That the promises of God will descend like rain. Lord, that we will feel, dear God, the refreshing promises of God. Like that summer rain, dear God. When it's been dry and it's hot. And we feel uncomfortable in the skin. And then suddenly out of nowhere, we feel the heavens give way. The heavens give way, dear God. So Holy Spirit, we pray that the heavens will give way. Right now, Lord, that the heavens will give way. And for every one of us that is a little bit scared, a little bit worried, a little bit fed up, Lord, sometimes we get fed up, Jesus. But I think you're aware of that, Lord. And sometimes, Lord, we get a little bit grumpy and a little bit cheesed off. Lord, we're fed up with the same old yes, sir, no, sir, free bags for. We're fed up, Lord, with the rhythm of the world. Lord, we're a little bit tired of the political language. We're a little bit fed up, Lord, with social networks. Lord, we're a little bit fed up, Lord, with work and life. Everything, Lord, sometimes it gets under our skin, Lord, and we don't know what to do, Jesus. Will you help us, Lord, to be able to deal with these emotions? Will you help us, Lord, to be able to deal with the way that we feel? A little bit grumpy, like a bear with a sore head. Holy Spirit, I pray that you'll bring peace. Dear God, bring peace to every one of us. Help us to rest. Holy Spirit, I pray, Lord, that you will speak through the stillness of this night. Lord, that you will speak through the noise of this night. Lord, I pray, Lord, that you'll give us stability in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I just pray, Lord, for breakthrough. I just pray for breakthrough, Lord, that we will hear the sound of walls come tumbling down. The walls, dear God, of fear, the walls of doubt. The walls, dear God, have been a little bit cheesed off, a little bit fed up. All those walls, just Lord, let those walls just crumble tonight. Help us to breathe, Lord, and to breathe and just to breathe in and to breathe out. To inhale and to exhale and say, Yes, Lord, all is well. Everything's alright, Jesus. Holy Spirit, I pray for breakthrough. I pray, Lord, for those promises to be so strong. I pray, dear God, that we will not allow ourselves to be captured by society, by family, culture, life, work. That we won't be caught, dear God, by religion. Father, I pray for freedom. Lord, that word that the world is looking for is freedom. Lord, we're just looking to be free. Free like a bird that's been caged up for so long. And then suddenly, Lord, the door opens, and there's a Chance, a window of opportunity, just to get out, to escape the cage of life, the cage of monotony, the cage, dear God, of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Lord, open the door. Open that door, Lord, so that we can get out, dear God, of the cage of life. And feel freedom. And stretch our wings, Lord, so that we can soar on wings as of eagles. Holy Spirit, I pray for the entrapment that we find ourselves in. Lord, through work, through life, through money, through mortgages, through society and culture, and how the devils at number 10 Downing Street get us captured. Lord, I pray, dear God, that you will open the door on the cage of life. And we will soar on wings as of eagles. Lord, that we will fly high above the cloud line of life and stress and worry. Lord, open the cage door. Lord, we need freedom. We need to be able to stretch these wings. Stretch our legs, God. Holy Spirit, I pray for those that just feel that they're living in a cage, living in four walls. Holy Spirit, Lord, I pray for a new day, a new beginning, a new hope. Holy Spirit, I pray, Lord, as we pray through Romans 8.28. In all things, God worked for the good of those who love Him. Lord, even when we're in a cage, chained down, restricted by society and culture and life, all things work together for good of those who love Him. Holy Spirit, I pray that we will realize that all things are all things. Every situation is every situation, but right now, Holy Spirit, help us to breathe. For those that are scared and worried and not even sure why I feel scared and worried. Holy Spirit, please, I pray. As we battle the clock, Lord, that that digital clock that's in front of us. The seasons of life, Lord, as we're already climbing out of April. As we already climb out of this month, Lord, I feel like, dear God. The time is accelerating. I feel like, dear God, life is just flying by, Lord God. That we're on the merry-go round, dear God. The merry-go round of life. Holy Spirit, I pray. For every one of us right now. Sisters and brothers, Jesus Christ is with you. We're going to come to the table in about two minutes. We've got about two minutes and we're going to come to the table. God is with you. God loves you. The Spirit of God is over your life. Father, as we prepare to take bread together. Lord, as we prepare God to break bread to take at a cup, you are our rock, you are El Shaddai, Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Nisi, Jehovah Shalom. And in all things, God works for the good. In every situation, God works for the good of those who love Him. So right now, Lord, as we come to the table, the Passover table with a bit of bread and a bit of grape juice, Lord, we walk in the gospel of Matthew 11, 28. Come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Holy Spirit, there are many people that are experiencing burnout. Many people that are experiencing experiencing exhaustion, and we need spiritual rest. Holy God, as we come to the table right now, stir us and carry us. We need spiritual rest, emotional rest, and physical rest. So Lord, as we break bread across the world, we welcome everybody on camera, on stream, we welcome everybody on radio. Wherever you are, Jesus is our redeemer. Jesus has redeemed me and he has redeemed you. You are a Bible-believing believer. And God has your life in the palm of his hand. Please, Jesus, show up tonight, Lord. Let's break bread. Father, we thank you for this bread that symbolizes the body of Christ. And as we break bread together right now, Father, we thank you that this bread symbolizes the body of Christ. This cup symbolizes the blood of Jesus. And Father, as we take the bread and we dip it in the cup and it becomes sop. Father, we see, dear God, that the bread absorbs the wine. So, Father, we thank you that the body and the blood go together, that there is no separation. And Lord, we pray for such an outpouring of your spirit as we break bread together as individuals, as we break bread together as children of the living God, as we break bread together as the army of heaven, the army of God, the righteousness of God. The brothers and sisters that have been called by righteousness. So, Lord, we thank you for breakthrough. Lord, we thank you for this cup that symbolizes the blood of the Lamb, this bread that symbolizes the body of Jesus. Holy Spirit, we thank you that we are found in the gospel of hope. Lord, that we are trusting in you with all of our heart. God, that you are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. And Lord, we are being strong and courageous. And we are as Matthew calls us to be. Come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Father, we thank you, Lord, that we just come to Jesus just as we are, just as we are, just as I am. Holy Spirit, just as I am, He's calling you. Jesus is calling you. That beautiful song. Come just as you are, just as you are, and that's what's so beautiful about salvation. Salvation comes from above. It comes from above. Thank you, Lord. You are the great I am, you are the lily of the valley, you are the king of the Jews, you are the God above all gods, Jehovah Jirah, you are the lion of Judah, Jehovah Rapha, Jehovah Shalom. You are the first and you are the last. You are the seven I ams. Holy Spirit, we thank you that we are sealed with the Holy Ghost, that there is a seal over our lives, that we have been grafted into the vine, and Jesus Christ is calling us. He's calling us through the word of God. He's saying, Come to me, all of you, every one of you that is weary, burdened, scared, doubtful. Come to me with your worries and your fears. Trust me. Jesus is calling. Not church, not religion. If you're not well right now, God is calling you. If you're scared right now, God is calling you. If you're in prison right now, God is calling you. If you feel alone right now, God is calling you. If you're in pain right now, God is calling you. If you're crying right now, God is calling you. However you feel right now, God is calling you. You're not here by chance. You're not here just because you're scrolling through social media. God has a plan for your life. He has a plan to heal you, to bless you, to lead you, to guide you. But we can't escape the fact that we're living in a world that is very frightening, very unstable. But there is stability in the word of God, there is hope in the word of God. So we get the Bible and we open up the word of God. We turn to Psalm 91, Psalm 23, Matthew 6, the Lord's Prayer, the Gospel of John, and we and sorry, we read the Word of God, and we speak that word over our lives, and we take Psalm 23. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. Please, God, restore all of our souls. Lead us in paths of righteousness. Lead us because you are the good shepherd. You are the good shepherd, you are the great I am. And Father, I thank you that Jesus is calling. You're calling our hearts, you're calling the prodigals, you're calling those, dear God, that are not sure. You're calling those that are trapped in ministry and work and life. You're calling all cultures, you're calling all colours, you're calling humanity through the gospel of Matthew 11, 28. Come to me, Jesus says. But there I go again, Jesus. I get a little bit jealous of the disciples. Look at you eyeball to eyeball, chat with you, talk with you, eat with you, sit with you. Holy Spirit, what a privilege! What must that have been like to look at Jesus in the face? To look at Christ eyeball to eyeball, to see the skin that he walked in, to have the opportunity to shake his hand, to walk shoulder to shoulder with the King of glory, to walk in the presence of Yahweh, to walk side by side with the one that was at the beginning of time, to walk with Jesus Christ, the creator of heaven and earth, to have that privilege to walk by the shoreline of Galilee and to talk with the creator of heaven and earth, the one-to-one conversation. Imagine what that was like, face to face, eyeball to eyeball, just talking with Jesus. So Lord, that's why I get a little bit jealous. Because Lord, we're crying out for you, we're crying out for you, God, and that culture at that time didn't know who you was, they weren't sure of who he was, but right now, Lord, we know you are the Savior of the world, you are the great I am, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. So Lord, I ask you that you will reveal yourself, Lord. These two minutes left of this service, Holy Spirit, come, Jesus, come. Holy Spirit, move in our lives tonight. By your grace and by your favor. We need to see your glory. Oh my God. Holy Spirit, eyeball to eyeball, face to face. God, we love you. But Lord, we need to see the glory. We need to see the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. But Father, we thank you that it's by faith. By faith, we go by faith. And we believe that one day, when we breathe our last, and we'll stand face to face with the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. And he will say, Well done, good and faithful servant. And Jesus is calling you tonight. Jesus is calling you. Don't you ever give up. Wherever you are, across the world, we thank you for joining us on the other side of the world. God is with you. Jesus is with you. The Holy Spirit is with you. Will you join us through the week as we pray? Will you join us as we continue to walk and to seek the Father's heart? We thank you for joining us on the other side of the world. As we stretch out from London, from the house of the Lord to you. May God bless you and carry you all the days of your life. May your sleep be sweet. Thank you for staying with us on X on RB Christian Radio. And as we get out of here right now, flick over to RB Christian Radio. But Jesus is calling. Come, Jesus, come. God bless you in Jesus' name. The Spirit of the Lord is over you. Good night.
