Wherever you are, in whatever part of the country you may be living in, I greet you and say thank you for blessing me with your presence. It is time to set your soul free with me, Stephanie. So let's see what we can be blessed with today. Something about the name Jesus something about the name Jesus It is the sweetest name I know Oh I love the name Jesus Oh I love the name Jesus It is the sweetest name I know What's going on people? Long time no see no hear from. Wait, you didn't think I was gonna sing that whole song, did you? No, you knew I can't do that. I gotta give you a warning to do that. I'm one of those people that can sing without a microphone. Those who've heard me sing, and when it gets to that special note, no sir, you got to let people know ahead of time so they can be prepared. It is good to talk to you all again. The world pushed me down, kept kicking on me, river dancing all on top of me, going through some things now, but you know what? My father said, You are ready, so I am back, and I've missed every last one of y'all. So let's get into what we're gonna talk about because it pertains to you know things that I'm going through right now. We're gonna talk about taking it back, and we're coming from Matthew's chapter 4, verses 16 and 17. The people which sat in darkness saw great light, and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death, light is sprung up. From that time, Jesus began to preach and to say, Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. A lot of us are sitting in darkness. Some of us have gone through the motions of life so many times we don't even know that it's dark. We're so used to it, we're so used to the sunglasses being on, we don't know that we're sitting in darkness and things are going by. That is how life treats people, and it necessarily does not have to do with the devil. You heard me say several times you can't blame the devil for everything. Some of these things you did to yourself, some of these things God tried to tell you, but we think we know every doggone thing, and we didn't listen. And then when that punishment comes around, we want to say the devil is out for me. No, you can't blame that on him. You did that to yourself today, in this generation, and this moment in time, the devil is sitting back taking notes because he's like, I didn't know humans could get upset about so many things. He's got his minions in a boardroom all across the globe talk about sit back, take notes. We don't have to do nothing, man is doing it to themselves. So, no, this ain't got nothing to do with the devil, it's the choices that we made when we thought we knew what we were doing. We are those people who are sitting in darkness and we have yet to do anything about it. Darkness is closing in every time the news comes on, or every time you check social media, there are a few keeping up the fight and shining light in the middle, but they can't do it alone. You have so many people that I thank God for the people who during the pandemic showed, you know, that there are there's still goodness in the world. We don't outrank the bad so far, but there are goodness sometimes in the world. I don't look at the news, I look at the news long enough to see what Leland is talking about, what I need to wear and how I need to dress, and then I'm out the door. My life right now is upside down, topsy turvy, willy whirly. I can't take on another bad thing going on. Show me some good news every once in a while. I mean, bad don't control the earth because if it did, it'd be on fire by by now. But so there's goodness somewhere, but we don't have enough good people standing up for it to outweigh the bad people. So it's to tell you right there what we need to do. Jesus is trying to tell us all we need to do something about this, but we're still on the sidelines thinking somebody else will handle it for us. So many of us would be like, okay, well, they'll take care of it. You're getting ready to say something, but you see somebody else say something, okay, well, they'll take care of it. No, that's not for them to take care of because they're speaking on their behalf on what they believe. It's not the same thing that you believe. You know, you have people that speak on certain things and they're good up until a certain point where you side-eye on them, like, wait, what? No. I learned at an early age, do not let people speak for you because other people have their own agendas. And if you allow them to use your platform, they're gonna be just as bad as the people that they're supposed to be speaking up against because now they can speak the rhetoric that they want to hear. No, nobody should be speaking up for you, you should speak for yourself, which is another reason why I comment our long our young people because they're like, these adults ain't doing nothing. We're gonna have to do it on our own, and they're the ones out there protesting, they're the ones out there standing on the front line for themselves because they can't count on the adults to do anything. The adults may start off talking about what they, you know, what the young people want, but then we throw in what we want to do. No, that's not what you're there for. So again, I comment the young people. Don't let nobody speak for you because they don't know you, they don't live what you live, they just hear about it. You're the ones living it. I'm glad that they speak for themselves. And this is not just one case. Darkness is getting closer and closer to our homes. It's already in the schools, it's already grabbed our children and our jobs. It has gotten so bad that we can't mind our own business and something evil is trying to attack us. Children of God, it is time to rise up and take back what we let the devil steal from us. Now I said you can't blame the devil for everything, but he did start the process because he knew what got up on our skin, he knew what would get us upset, he knew you know what button to tick, what nerve to dance on, what soul to set on fire that'll cause a whirlwind. He knew, and all he had to do was make that one move and sit back and watch the fireworks. It's what I minister and mentor to people every day. Every action has a reaction. So something that we've done two or three years ago may take a little longer for it to come back around to get the action. Well, by then we done forgot that we even did it. No, you did it. It just took long enough for it to come back around. What the devil set in motion years ago may have taken a minute, but it's coming back around because we didn't stop the foolishness when we saw it. We let it continue, we let it go on. We sat back and like, you know what, we're not gonna facilitate that happen. There's gonna be enough people to come around and stop that. Guess what? Wrong. Look where we are now. And it looks like it may be repeating itself, then what you're gonna do. You can't hoop and holler then. Well, you can, but it'll be hard enough for you to make change because you didn't do something in the beginning. Don't depend on people to do stuff for you. And if you know what people are spitting out is something that they don't believe in, it's just something that they heard, call them on it. We got too many people following the blind leading the blind because they're not couraged enough to stand up for themselves. Even in adults, even in politics, it's all about popularity. You know, if I don't follow what everybody else follows, I'm gonna get picked on. And you were put in office to serve the people that are your constituents. If you can't do that, then somebody else needs to step in. Now, am I gonna talk politics? No, but that was the best example I can give for what people can relate it to. It's all about being popular. You don't want to stand by yourself, and like I said, and it's flexuring down to the young people. The young people may not believe everything that their friends believe in because they know it's morally and ethically wrong, but they don't want to be singled out, they don't want to be picked on, they don't want to be talked about, so they go along with it, and now they can't sleep at night. Now their mind is tormented, now they're losing all sense of reality because they followed along something that did not align with what God had in their spirit and it's bothering them. That goes towards adults, whether it be in the workhouse and especially the church house. You don't go along or you don't follow along with somebody or you don't believe what somebody says, and you say something about it, all of a sudden now you're the trouble person. And all of a sudden you always trying to start something. No, it ain't got nothing to do with that. And if that's how you feel, then I think you need to sit down and have a little talk with God because you got a little issues that need to be dealt with. Nobody should be afraid to give their opinion as long as they're being respectful about it. Now you can give your opinion without saying a cuss word. Once you start cussing, yeah, that puts it in a different realm. But we are allowed to give what we feel. Some of us do have a heart, a lot of us do have soul. We need to start showing that because once we start to shy away from what we knew what was right, what we knew what was better, this is what happens. The opposite. Now, kids that were confused are more confused than ever. Because now they're listening to the negativity, and it's filling them with the hatred, it's filling them with the confusion. And unlike some adults, children do not know how to express certain feelings. Just like when babies are upset and they've been changed, they've been fed, they've been burped, they've been played with, and you don't know what's wrong. Well, they're too young to tell you all I want to be is held. I got a gas bubble. I had a nightmare. They can't tell you what they're feeling. As kids get older, I don't care if they got a 5.70 as a GPA. Something may be going on in their life that they still aren't able to explain. They cannot find a way to express what's wrong with them to an adult because they don't know what it is. If children hadn't felt certain emotions or certain feelings before, they can't tell you what it is that they're feeling. So just like a child, all they can do is act it out. Hopefully, somebody will grab them before they cause too much damage to themselves or others, and they'd be able to talk it out enough to them to explain to you what it is. But adults aren't listening. We're quick to slap a label on a problem child. They got ADHD, they got a mental dis No, they don't. They're going through something that they don't understand what it is, and they don't know how to express it so you can help them. Growing up, ADHD was not a thing. Parents knew how to fix that problem. They won't sit down in school. I bet you they will for the rest of the year after tonight, and that was no longer a problem. We've gotten too laxed when it comes to these kids. Just because they're smart, they don't know everything. And we need to get back because when the devil can't get us, who do you think he's gonna go for? The children, because they're more vulnerable to what it is he wants them to do. Like I tell my youth and young adults, sin doesn't have a race, doesn't have a culture, it doesn't have a gender, it especially doesn't have an age. Your sin is gonna be different from mine. My sin is gonna be an adult sin, something that adults deal with. Your sin is gonna be a childlike sin, something's easy as something to keep you distracted. You know, anything that teenagers do or a young child will do, anything to keep you distracted to get you into trouble. Sin is sin. It does not matter who it is, what their age is, it does not matter where you are on the map. Sin is sin. And we're trying to teach these children to be careful about it. Because when you start doing good and all of a sudden bad starts popping up out of nowhere, that's because something's coming. And the devil's trying to make you miss it. I tell that to adults, I just told that to adults a couple of weeks ago, a couple of days ago. You know, when everything goes right and all of a sudden, stuff just starts popping off out of nowhere, one thing after the next, thing after the next thing after the next thing. And you're like, wait a minute. Just yesterday, everything was all peaches and roses. What the heck is going on? Basically, now I'm sitting up there talking to you all. That's what's going on with me. Because stuff that is just popping off left and right. You think you got one thing handled, then here comes this next fire. You get that brush fire out, here comes this five alarm fire. And I'm like, wait a minute, hold on. What? See, that's why God told me I needed to podcast today, because right there, he sat there and just confirmed to me what he's been trying to tell me. I told you something is coming, and something is trying to keep you from getting it by keeping you distracted for the little foolish things that you can take care of. But you know how we are when stuff comes back to back to back to back to back, we're focusing on everything that's coming on, trying to figure out okay, I ain't even took care of this yet. Now this is coming up. It's all because it's a distraction. And right now I'm claiming it in the name of Jesus, you have me no more. As of today, I am no longer yours. I took a day off from work because I needed what my supervisor said, a mental break. Don't get me wrong, just because we're in the ministry, just because I'm a motivator and an inspirer, sometimes I need inspiration and motivation too. And today was one of those days. I just sat on the bed for almost 30 minutes to the point where when I was supposed to have been out the door in the car, I'm like, I can't do it. I just I can't. And I had an emotional day too. I'm so glad the hubby and the kids were downstairs. I had an emotional breakdown because everything I've been trying to carry, everything I've been trying to do, everything I've been pushing to the side to keep moving, to keep my family fed, to keep the electricity on, to keep gas in the car so we can do everything we needed to do finally came to a head today when God made me sit down to where I had no choice but to think about everything that's been going on. And just like I said, because I'm sitting here talking to you all, I minister to myself. I now know what's going on, and today is it. Um you're not taking me no more. You're not. I'm taking everything back. My health, my strength, my faith, which I never lost, but it's gonna get stronger now. I'm taking everything back, and in the blessed name of Jesus, I pray that you do the same. Some of y'all are going through stuff that people don't even understand because you don't want to tell them, and that's okay. You know, the old folks will tell you you don't need to be telling people your business. I ain't got no problem telling mine because somebody else is going through what I'm going through, and they need to see that if I'm gonna stand up to do what I need to do, then they know that they can do it too. But some of y'all are going through some stuff that you want to keep to yourself, and I pray to the Lord right now that he releases that burden from you the only way that he knows how. It's time for you to get your freedom back, it's time for you to get your health back, it's time for you to get your job back, it's time for you to get everything that you lost: finances, children, spouse, partner, whatever it is that you had, that for some reason, somewhere down the line you lost. I'm praying to God that you get it back the way He wants you to get it back in Jesus' name. But today let's take our freedom back. We should never be scared to go to work, send our kids to school, or to go out for fun, fearing something bad will happen. I can't even relate to how it feels to send my kids to school and then find out something happened, and they may be the ones that don't come home, or they don't come back the way I sent them, which has happened. I they go out the door, but when they come back, something's happened, and they're not the same when they come back. And I'm one of those parents, I know how my children are. When you leave, I saw how you left. When you come back, hold up, swole. Uh-uh. What what's what's this about? What's what's what's going on? And my car has like I told y'all before, my car has held up the receiving line in a in the school. No, no, no. Put the car in park, cut it off. No, ma'am, no, sir. What is this? What happened? Let's talk about it. So before I go into the school, I need to know the facts. Before I go in here and lay the Holy Ghost on this principle, what happened? We need to start taking stuff back. We need to start paying more attention to our children. Because, like I said, if the world or the devil, it could be one or the other, depends on what you did. Tries to get our attention, tries to direct the tract us from what we're doing. If they can't get us through us, they're gonna go after those kids. And it doesn't have to be our kids, it could be a child that our children know. We don't know, but we know after us comes them, and so far he's winning with them undefeated when it comes to some of these kids. Because they're so wrapped up, tangled up, tied up already, that just a little slightest thing, and they're just they're gonna spring, bust like a rubber band broke. They just they gone. And we need to start watching them, we need to start helping them, we need to start ministering to them, we need to start talking to them, but mostly we need to pay attention. I just told the hubby not too long ago, we need to get up out the phones. There's work to be done, and we sitting up here chillaxing, playing on the telephone. Don't get me wrong, it's a mind release. So don't get it twisted. Sometimes you need to escape from reality for a hot second, but at some point you need to face reality head on because you can't get whatever God is gonna bless you with next if you want to live on Fantasy Island. It don't work that way. So we need to start and start taking stuff back that was taken from us. May not necessarily have been stole. We probably gave it to them because we was in one of those moments where we were having our little pity part and we just didn't pay attention, they just came and took it. So we ain't gonna necessarily say they stole everything. Some of it we willingly gave it to them. Probably pointed it out here. You won't take it. I don't use it no more. But it's time to start getting everything back. Because whatever's coming, we're gonna need everything that we gave away that got stolen. We need to have all of it back because it's gonna glorify the kingdom of God and it's going to bless our spirits. People have gotten so bold as to come into the house of worship with that mess and junk, and we let them. We knew a couple of years ago about the young man that came into the church in the middle of Bible study. What one of my pet peeves, and I've told y'all, one of my pet peeves is when people say wrong place, wrong time. Stop saying that. Because when they said it that particular time when dude came in in the middle of Bible study and started up the church, well, they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. They were in the house of the Lord having Bible study. How was that the wrong place in the wrong time? That ain't got nothing to do with the foolishness that he was going to do. Drives me nuts when people say that. Stop saying that. People are where they're supposed to be when they're supposed to be there. It is not their fault that somebody wants to act like a nut job and come in there and disrupt life. That's that's not their problem. That that's between that person and the Lord. That's between them two. Now, let me tell you this part because I get people, young people ask me this all the time. Well, why come the Lord couldn't stop them? Sometimes the Lord can't do everything. If somebody has it in their heart and their heart is hardened, sometimes the Lord can't reach it. Everybody doesn't want the Lord into their spirit. When some people have stuff on their mind that they're going to do, there's nothing people can do about it. Nothing. People who've people that people have trusted that listen to everything they say. That one particular time they're not hearing you, they're not answering your calls, they're not doing anything, they're not listening. God can't save everybody as much as He would love to, as much as He wants to. There are just some people who don't want to be saved, and we as humans have got to learn that. It ain't always God, why did you let this happen? He didn't. He probably threw everything he had in front of these people to stop them, and there was just no stopping them. When people are determined, and that's us too. He told us not to do something, and we went and did it anyway. There was no stopping us. There's just some people who do not want to be saved. And we have got to learn that. We have got to learn that. We keep thinking that, well, the devil meant no, the devil didn't make them do it. Now the world probably had a little hand in it, but if they was determined on doing it, they were determined. That means somewhere along the lines before they got to that point, they probably did reach out for help and they didn't get it. Or they reached out for help and the help really wasn't helpful. Because you do have people that try to help people, but they don't know too much more than the person asking for it, and it really makes it worse instead of making it better. So it's time to take back what the world took in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Only God, who has been carrying us from the womb, so says in Isaiah 46, verses 3 and 4, can carry us into the future. We are demanding on man to do a little too much. We're dependent on man to do something with this country. We're dependent on man to stop the hunger. We're depending on man to stop the wars. No, it starts with man. Instead of depending on man, it starts with man having a relationship with whomever they worship. Because not everybody worships God, it's called something else, depending on your religion, depending on your culture. But whoever that you give praises to, whoever that you blesses you with, whatever you need to get you through your life and get you through your day, is who it deals with. But there's more Christians in this world than it is evil. There's more love in this world than it is hate, but nobody's willing to stand up for what is right. For whatever reason, I don't know what it is, but for whatever reason, nobody's willing to stand up for what is right. And the kids are watching. These kids of today aren't like how we grew up when you're seen and not heard. And if you hear something, your mouth better not say nothing. If you don't want to meet God early before your time. These kids today, they talk monster more amongst each other than they do to an adult because they can't find an adult one that they can trust. Trust meaning keeping their the mouth, the adult keeps their mouth shut. If I come to you with something, I don't care how juicy it is, don't you sit up there and repeat it. We've lost their trust. And I can tell you for a fact, not because it's happened to me, but because I've seen it happen. Once you lose the trust of a young person, you're never gonna get it back. They may like you, they may tolerate you, but they will never trust you. They'll only tell you bits and pieces, they'll tell somebody else the full story. They'll only tell you bits and pieces, and that'll probably be a vegan, what they tell you. It'll be probably a vegan diet, what they tell you. Because once you lose their trust, it's gone. It is gone never to return. Like I said, I've seen it. It hasn't happened to me, but I've seen it. And it's it's sad because sometimes the adults who betrayed them is the ones that they trusted all this time. You know, the ones that kept them out of trouble, the ones that kept them on the straight and narrow, the ones who knew something was going on and they didn't have to say a word. And one action destroyed everything. We need to pay attention to these kids. We need to pay attention to what we're doing. We need to pay attention to what's going on around us. Most of the times there's signs going around us and something's about to pop off. But we're too off in the phones, we're too off into politics, we're too off into the banks, we're too off into whatever's going on in the world that we're not paying attention to what's going on right beside us. I told my kids, you're not supposed to be no hashtag because you weren't paying attention. I'm sorry. We're not we're not gonna do that. We're not. So it's time to take it back today. Whatever it is that you've lost, even if you misplaced it, you really ain't lost it. You just don't know where you put it last. It's time to get it back because change is coming, and you know my other model that I have. Change is not always wanted, but it's sometimes needed. Change is coming, and depending on who you are and what the change is for, it's going to help or it may hinder. It depends. Whatever you did to cause it. Like I said, every action has a reaction, but change is coming. You need to be ready to receive it, and you need to be ready to do whatever it is God intended for you to do with it, which He will not give you something without giving you instructions on how to carry it out. I'm a witness to that as well. Stay blessed and remember to be that light in someone else's darkness. Let us pray, because I cannot go nowhere without praying. Let us pray. Father God, we come here today to say thank you. Father, we thank you for everything that you've done. Father, we thank you for the things that you're about to do. Father, we ask a special blessing to all those who are hearing me right now, Father, for the burden of doubt to be released, for the burden of finances to be released, for the burden of whatever's going on in the household to be released, for the burden of the job that they just want to walk away from. Father, we pray for it to be released. And Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that they get all their stuff back, whether if it was stolen, taken, misplaced, or lost. Father, in the blessed name, we ask that they are able to get everything back: their jobs, their families, their health, their finances, whatever it is, Father, and we pray that we get our world back. Somewhere along the lines, Father, we let things go and the world done went left and we need to come back to the right. So, Father, we ask in your blessed Jesus' name that those who are able to do something touch them, Father, that they can do it. And then, Father, not only that, give them the angels of protection so the job can get done. Father, we thank you. We praise you. We give you all the honor and glory. And Father, we ask a special blessing over the youth who are seeing what is going on. And even though they're already confused, Father, it is making them more confused than ever that they rather act out in anger than act out in love. That they rather pull out in hate instead of give love to one another. Father, we pray for those young people that they get what they need so they can come back into the fold, so they can walk the straight and narrow, Father, so they can see that you are sitting right there and that you're gonna send them who they need to make sure they have the resources they need to keep moving in the name of Jesus to bring them out of their darkness, to bring them into the marvelous light. Because, Father, there is something about the name Jesus, and it is the sweetest name that we know. Father, we give you glory, we give you honor in your son Jesus' name. Amen. Stay blessed.
