In Week 04 of Rooted: How Faith Grows and Life Changes, we look at one of the most important battles beneath the surface: Truth vs. Lies.
Jesus said, “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” But lies rarely announce themselves as lies. They often sound reasonable, familiar, protective, or even spiritual. And if a lie takes root in the heart, it eventually shapes our thoughts, choices, habits, character, and destiny.
This week, we explore how deception began in Genesis 3, why freedom is connected to truth, and how God replaces false beliefs with what is true. We’ll also look at four common lies that keep people stuck in performance, approval, blame, and shame—and the truth of Scripture that confronts each one.
Because transformation is not behavior management. It is life from the roots up.
