Episode VIII - The Roots of Early Black Metal

Welcome to Episode 8 of The Distorted Emporium! 

In this episode, I try to navigate the bands that had a part in inspiring one of the most extreme forms of heavy metal. We'll travel from the early days of Black Sabbath and 70's hard rock, through the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, to the early days of American and German thrash, and land squarely in the middle of the first wave of Black Metal. Before the suicides, murders, and church burnings, these are some of the players that got us there.
