Cooking - Grief and Gratitude

This year at Thanksgiving there will be two empty chairs at our house. We will be missing the amazing cooking and loving hospitality of my mother-in-law, and of course our beloved daughter, whom we buried up a pretty little coulee on the ranch yesterday. We received thousands of messages from loving and praying friends, family, and acquaintances over the course of the last three weeks, but the one that gives me the most inspiration for coping with Thanksgiving this year is a message from Sue Tooley, who experienced the loss of her beautiful daughter, Catherine.
