W.D. Farr Scholarship Recognizes Graduate Students

The National Cattlemen’s Foundation awards two graduate students the W.D. Farr Scholarship annually. Each winner receives ,000 towards their degree pursuits. Recognized for their academic achievements, leadership, and commitment to the advancement of the beef industry, this year’s recipients of the scholarships were Shelley Curry of Kennard, Texas, and Sydney Bowman-Schnug of Fort Lupton, Colorado. Along with the scholarship funds, both awardees will be recognized during CattleCon 2026 in Nashville, Tennessee, which is slated for February 3-6. The scholarship, named in honor of W.D.
