Ujjwal Bikram Thapa: Fighting Acid Attacks
Ujjwal Bikram Thapa is a familiar name in the health activism circle in Nepal. He has really dedicated himself to burn and acid attack victims since 2015. His work involves from arranging treatment for victims at local hospitals to providing support for them to pursue independent lives. He was instrumental in getting the bill against acid attack through in Nepal.
Ujjwal has been helping these victims without a fanfare or a platform of an organization. His quiet work has still received recognition in and outside of the country, and rightfully so.
