Luke 5:1-11

Jesus didn’t want to do ministry all by Himself. That’s why we see Him do something in this text today that quite literally changed the world. Jesus sought out some blue-collar, rough-around-the-edges guys to start His church with. God's not searching today, trying to find who is the most self-righteous or the most important. He's searching for people who will follow Him. Disciples are not mass-produced; they’re handmade. Each of us has a role in this mission of making disciples. So who will you include in God’s kingdom?

A disciple of Jesus obeys Jesus.
A disciple of Jesus makes disciples.
A disciple of Jesus leaves everything to follow Jesus.
