Matthew 5:27-30
In this passage, Jesus shows us the problem isn’t just what your hands do, but what your heart loves. Oftentimes the sin we have is exposing what really rules our hearts. Take sin seriously because God takes it seriously. Don’t manage sin- kill it!
We don’t fight sin as slaves trying to earn our freedom. We fight as a free people learning to walk in the freedom we already have.
