For decades, Abuja has stood as Nigeria’s administrative capital, while Lagos remains its economic heartbeat. But recent decisions by the Federal Government are blurring that line once again.

The planned relocation of the Bank of Industry headquarters from Abuja to Lagos has sparked questions about efficiency, cost, legality, and regional balance  especially as other federal agencies have also shifted operations back to the commercial capital.
