Every day, millions of Nigerians grapple with the high cost of transportation following the removal of fuel subsidy, making life even more difficult for many households. 

Now, with the Federal Government promising cheaper transport through CNG and electric vehicles from October 1, many are asking why the intervention is coming more than three years after subsidy removal and amid the 2027 election campaigns.
