MS Diagnosis Journey
Teresa Rousseau: Making Room to Dream More Dreams
Show Notes

Teresa Rousseau's MS diagnosis came about after years of unsettling but fairly undramatic symptoms - mostly tingling and numbness. Following an inconclusive MRI, she went on an active adventure holiday, finally getting the call from her neurologist two days after her return.

She had no knowledge of MS and was unprepared for the onset of disability when it arrived. But along with her posse, she maintains living independently, and her current goal is to walk 10 feet through work with her physical therapist.

Teresa's main point is that, following an MS diagnosis, not everything that you'll go through in life is about MS. She advises anyone at the start of their own journey to be relentless in finding somebody who will listen and treat your whole person.
