Speaker 1:

Today on the podcast we have the beautiful and amazing Elsa Fields . Hi Elsa, and welcome to the podcast.

Speaker 2:

Hi, Mel. Thank you so much for having me. Such a pleasure to be here.

Speaker 1:

Dr. Elsa Field is a PhD scientist, priestess of Avalon and sacred sound and devotional musician. Her joy and passion is to guide women to come home, to be the divine channel that they naturally are. Drawing on an ancient priestess path of the temple, singer and musician, Elsa's community is on a divinely guided mission to reawaken the lineage of the priestess sound healer, the priestess of sacred sound. For the modern day, a lifelong musician Elsa's journey began as a classically trained vocalist and recording artist. She has been developing the sacred practices of the devotional singer for the past 10 years within the healing lineage of Avalon weaving her story, sound, healing ceremony and sound science. Elsa is the S transformational group and one-on-one programs that empower you to unlock your devotional voice and service as a priestess of sacred sound. Elsa, from the moment I discovered your priestess work through listening to the Hathor and Mary Magdalene frequencies on Spotify and then through Instagram, I was drawn in by your natural ability to teach women the gifts of using their soul voice. Could you tell us a bit about yourself and this amazing work you share?

Speaker 2:

I never expected that my work would be focused around sound music and my voice. Honestly, it is always been such a huge part of my life, but I never expected that it would be the kind of bread and butter of my daily existence in the way that it is now. I, from a very young age, was on a very academic path, and I was always a very studious child. I have a stellium of planets in Capricorn in the 10th house, so I have this, yeah, very kind of almost perfectionist, quite high achieving standards for myself and for what I create in the world. And for the first part of my adult life, I really thought that would be science and , uh, scientific research. But what unfolded was that I had my spiritual awakening <laugh> , as many, many people do. And that happened for me the first time that I visited the beautiful landscape where I now live, which is Glastonbury in England, in Somerset, which for, for most British people is kind of like a, yeah, somewhere in the middle of the countryside that not many people go to, but many, many people around the world in the spiritual community know it as this place of pilgrimage, this place, which is known to be incredibly sacred and connected to the mysteries of Avalon. And many people feel that Avalon is at least one of the heart chakras of Gaia , right? So when I first came to Glastonbury, which was a very kind of spontaneous calling, I really immediately felt this, this voice, this energy of the goddess in the landscape here. And she was really telling me, she was asking me quite strongly to devote to my priestess path. And this took, I would say about three or four years to really kind of decondition myself from the very high achieving academic world that I had found myself in, and actually really surrender to that voice and that part of my life that was equally as important to me. And through that process of trust and surrender in what some might call the goddess or, you know, she's really our own higher self presence, priestess presence, soul presence. Through listening to that voice, I really found the path that I'm on now sharing this work of the sacred singer and and devotional song with other women around the world. So I'm eternally grateful to this sacred land here that really anchors all of my teachings and everything that I create. Even though I love to pilgrimage to other sacred sites around the world, I feel like I, I probably don't really emphasize enough how connected I feel to the land of Avalon as a resident priestess here now for six years that I've been living here full-time. So that's a little bit of background about me and how I found my way to this work.

Speaker 1:

That's really beautiful. And when we get pulled onto this priestess path, I know for me, similar to you, I've had at least 10 years in academic studies. And when you move to this different kind of place where you are pulled into the spiritual world through your awakening, I find that, you know, you really have to come to such a deep space of surrender. And so for you, that was connecting with the lands of Avalon. And I love that. 'cause my, my teenager awakening was actually on a trip to England, but uh, I didn't actually visit Avalon. I wish I did, and I hope that I can within the next couple of years, I'm definitely feeling that pull . I can really build that connection with you having to make that transition from, I guess, what's expected of us and then moving into something that's a little bit different.

Speaker 2:

Yeah. It's a really, really big one, right? And I think that there are, there are so many layers to that kind of like as you, as you start that journey, for some of us, it's , uh, finding that we need to shift what job we have in the world to become more aligned for others of us. It might be a , a relationship that's coming to an end, or it might be the place that we live. But I think these reflections in our external reality that often a reflection of that inner descent and ascent of the soul's journey where we are really aligning with our true path. And if more of us actually listened to those nudges and did that deep work, which is not easy, but I know many of the listeners, your , of your podcast know, know what I'm talking about. I really can't feel how, how much more joy and aliveness we would have in the world today. Right. And the voice is such a profound guide on that journey because when we really tune in and listen to our voice as this real instrument, as this vessel of what we are being called to create in the world, she's such a profound guide for us because she becomes that external reflection of the inner voice and inner listenings of our soul. So I really see the throat chakra as just such a core piece as it's always been for women's empowerment, right? But I feel that in the spiritual community, it's becoming more and more of a , a powerful and potent tool. More and more women are being drawn to this work of awakening their voice.

Speaker 1:

Yes, for sure. I've, I mean, I've certainly felt it. I know through , uh, some of the spiritual work that I've done , uh, over the last couple of years has all been focused on the voice clearing out that throat chakra. I will say there has been many, many, many difficult layers to that. So it hasn't been one dimensional. And just recently, I had a really, really big one over the last month , um, where I actually ended up with chronic laryngitis because I was really, I could feel it clearing , um, and my guides were saying, it's okay, we're just, we are clearing this and it's gonna be better for you. But it's such a hard process moving in and feeling into that throat chakra. Is it, is it, isn't it, and I feel like , uh, with Avalon and the priestess of Avalon, does she really, I'm not sure, but does she really correspond to that blue frequency? I sort of see her as a bit of a blue, a blue light?

Speaker 2:

Ooh , what a lovely question. Yeah. So I would say that in the Priestess of Avalon community that lives here, there are many different expressions of this, but , uh, and the Avalon priestess community around the world, but in the lineage that I was trained in, which is , uh, vocalized here in Glastonbury, it's not so much blue, but violet purple light, she's connected with the violet flame energy, which is a really high frequency band of light. And the Lady of Avalon is that violet frequency. So we often see her here in the landscape of Avalon in the mist that cover the land for a , a large part of the year. And in the sunset period, often what happens is we get this really beautiful incandescent kind of rosy violet hue to the sunset and to the mist, which really tells us of her presence. So the blue frequency is, I feel it's, this is one of the oldest kind of color frequencies associated with the divine feminine. So the color blue is a very, you know , a very royal frequency. That's kind of how we see it in the modern age. It's often associated with that kingly, queenly kind of energy. And in the Christian Church, you know, they, they began really using it sometime in the medieval period to really , uh, to , to really depict Mother Mary and also Yeshua in this blue frequency. But if we look back and we trace this further back, this, this blue frequency was used by many ancient cultures in their depictions of the divine feminine. So I really feel that this blue energy is actually one of the kind of hallmarks of that sacredness, that energy of the cosmic mother that over time really came through in a, in a intact wisdom stream. Some might call it the rose lineage into Christianity. So the ancient Egyptians were pretty obsessed with the color blue, and they used it throughout all of the temples , uh, in the beautiful ways that they adorned and painted the temples. And we can see this through the restoration work that's been done. And if you visit some of the temples where the original painting is intact, and it's often used to depict that cosmic womb of the mother and goddess is such as hor the great cow mother , uh, and the goddess nut as well, who's the sky goddess. So the blue frequency for me is really connected to this ancient lineage of priestesses, of hat hor priestesses of Isis. We see Mother Mary and Mary Magdalene and other women, other biblical women often depicted, dressed in blue in stained glass windows and depictions of them, which really indicate that they're connected to this ancient lineage. And even further back than that, when we think about cosmically, what blue is connected to, many, many , uh, many spiritual teachers believe that this blue frequency is connected to the constellation of Sirius in particular. And this is , uh, this is thought to be and felt to be where, where Hor and the Hathor beings originate from is serious . They're connected to several different constellations. But many people who are incarnating now with star seeds really feel that connection with Sirius and the Seven Hathor who are these sonic beings who are deeply connected with the mysteries of sound are really connected to Sirius . So many of us who are called to this path of sound and voice are really connected with Sirius as well. So that was a long answer to your question, but I wanted to give the full spiel about how obsessed I am with the Color Blue <laugh> and why <laugh> ?

Speaker 1:

No, I love it. And also it's so fascinating, isn't it? Because, you know, that's what I love about being able to do this podcast and being able to speak to so many, so many women with , uh, different experiences, is that we get to hear everybody's personal experience. I haven't done much connecting , uh, with the Priestess of Avalon, but I do hope to, you know, my main guide , uh, for a very long time has been Mother Mary and mainly working within that holy lineage. And so I'm constantly shown that blue light frequency. Um, I haven't as much worked with Hathor very much, mainly, mainly the Holy Guides. Um, but it was actually interesting because the beautiful lady that I interviewed last week, her main guide is actually Krishna and he comes in on the blue frequency as well. So there's been so much, so for me, I've been really traveling through the shadows over the last month and the black rose, and now I can just feel this beautiful blue frequency coming in so strongly. I've actually changed my altar quite a bit. I went out and bought all these blue candles on the weekend , um, and I can feel it, I can feel it coming through so strongly now. 'cause it's such a healing light, isn't it? Particularly when we are walking through that shadow time or through that place where we've gotta walk into healing, particularly with this throat chakra, because the blue connects in with the, with throat chakra as well, doesn't it?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, absolutely. And I love that you brought in how you've been transmuting energy and really feeling that on the other side of that, you can now open to that blue frequency and really call in that blue healing light for your own throat center. And that's a really important piece, is that the layers, the different layers of healing that we, that we get to go through on this <laugh> exciting journey of, of self-healing in order to really access that limitless energy. And so I said earlier that blue really is representative of the cosmic womb of the mother. Of course, you know, we have a blue sky, right? In our , uh, on our earth, blue is the color of the oceans as well. So both of these , uh, both of these incredible dimen elemental dimensions where we originate from as a humanity, right? The stars and the oceans of the earth have this color. And so for us as, as humans, the blue frequency spectrum is all about reconnecting with that primordial energy of what it means to be a conscious being, what it means to be a lived representation of the divine. So it's such a healing frequency in so many ways, and it's such a soothing frequency for the throat chakra as well. Uh, and it really shows us that that deep connection that the throat center has with the power of creation, the power to create and manifest your life in the external three D reality and across all dimensions.

Speaker 1:

So what was your inspiration into creating such a potent body of work where women would have the opportunity to move deeply into their inner world and discover that when they tap into the power of using their voice, they can be more authentically seen and heard, and this would allow their true authentic expression to come through.

Speaker 2:

As, as I've kind of already mentioned, for me, this work with the voice is not just about personal self-empowerment. It's about really bringing and birthing your divine dream for your life into reality. And so the first piece of that work is self-healing around your own throat chakra, around your own throat center, around the wounds of the voice that many of us carry. And we, we have to do that essential work if we're going to be able to creatively express in the world, right? So a core piece where we can see the kind of shadow of the voice is the sisterhood wound, right? This feeling of jealousy and comparison between women, especially if we see other women sharing their work with the world, sharing their voice with the world, and we don't feel creatively expressed or in our power. And how do we heal the sisterhood wound? The first step is to heal our connection with our own voices and creative expression, right? Because when we really reclaim all of our power, how, why would we feel threatened by anyone else , right? And subtly, when we engage in that frequency of jealousy in comparison, what we are doing is giving away our power in a very subtle way, right? So that's one example of, of how and why this work with the voice is so important. And honestly, in my experience, the Priestess community is, is a microcosm of the macrocosm within the priestess community. We're doing so much healing work around the sisterhood wound, both locally in our individual communities. It's definitely like that for my community here in the UK and, you know, in the , in the global community. And so I think that for me, kind of subconsciously was a really core motivation to sharing this work around The voice was really understanding and feeling the work that I had done personally to really own and reclaim my power and the power in what I had to share with the world, and really seeing how, how this work was needed. So actually what happened was, I said at the beginning, you know, I never really, it never really , uh, was a plan. It never was my, my master plan <laugh> to create any of what I've created. It really happened because women started asking me to , uh, to do voice work and voice healing sessions with them. That's what happened. I started recording my music, recording my sacred music, and , uh, putting it out there. And it really , uh, that frequency activated something in me and in the people around me that they could really feel this energy of, of sound and voice and the healing potential there that was coming through. And the way that I always feel about it is, it's a community, a collective. I might be the izer for now, but there's something happening collectively. And as priestess is , as , as women connected with the sacred, what we get to be is then we get to be the, the vessels and the vocalizes for that movement to come to the fore. Just like you were doing with this beautiful podcast, right, Mel, your words and your efforts and your voice are becoming an expression of what your community needs. So that was really how it happened. And then over time, I, I heard that voice, the voice of the goddess more and more strongly. She was just guiding me every step of the way. And I see all goddesses for me, they all come back to this one divine mother presence that I call hor, right? She's one of the most ancient goddesses that humanity has worked with. And so I, I can hear hor guiding me in what I'm creating. I'm sure perhaps you feel similarly about your work with Mother Mary, right? And birthing your creations. And this is another core piece of what I teach, is about really becoming a divine channel, really understanding that that's a natural birthright that we all have to be connected with these immense guides that aren't separate from us. And so she's really been guiding me, and I'm always in communion with her. I've actually just over the last few days, you know, you mentioned the <inaudible> portal was really big for you, and it was for me as well over the last few days, I can really see how she's guiding me to come back to my original , uh, assignment as it were. And she's showing me the ways that my ego maybe has got a little bit involved in recent weeks and months. And so she's really helping me to strip away the dross and to simplify again. So it's, it's a constant work. And I think all of us who are leaders, vocalizes who are coming forward to facilitate community, it's so important for us to be connected to that faith, whether that's connection to divine guides or connection to our higher self, hopefully both, right? So that's, that's how this movement kind of came to be birthed.

Speaker 3:

I almost felt brought to tears with that <laugh> . I think I actually am .

Speaker 1:

Yeah. I mean, I speak to so many women who are trying to move into a different place and a different space, but it's not easy, right? It's really not easy, particularly if you're coming from, you know , uh, a very traditional background , uh, where certain things are expected of you from family or , um, you know, you've worked really hard on your career for many, many years, and now you're being called into the goddess or into the priestess. It can be such a scary thing to step into. And so I think what you're saying with this voice work and healing the throat chakra, that is, that can be a place where we can start to really open up our, our expression to what it is that's really coming from the heart, you know, rather than following these certain , uh, traditions. And I know , uh, over the last couple of weeks, I've definitely had quite a few friends who have stepped into the shadow work , um, and have really been called into that path. And it's been really challenging because a lot of what's coming up is like what you said, healing the sister wound and healing the throat chakra. And so they might've been pulled into a bit of sickness, you know, having to go back and rest , um, to allow that , uh, to allow that healing to process and come through. And, you know, similar, similar to me as well. And so, can you tell us a bit more about how , uh, your Myrtle Grove Sacred Sound Mystery School can really support women to move through that process?

Speaker 2:

Our mystery school is really about remembrance. It's really connected to remembering who you are and remembering that we are one with the divine. And through that process, we can remember and reclaim aspects of our voice that represent different parts of our soul essence. That perhaps along the way we've become disconnected from, or , uh, disassociated from that

Speaker 1:

We

Speaker 2:

Now are being called to really bring back into our embodied presence in the world. We need all aspects of our voice in order to heal the sisterhood wound in order to step forward in the fullness of our creative expression. And so the way that I have designed the mystery school curriculums, or I say I, but really it's hor working through me, <laugh> and her design, is that there is this really very simple core two-part journey to it. The first step, as I've already mentioned, is working with your own voice, self-healing, really focusing on that, giving ourselves space and time to really work on this. And this is represented by our, our core foundational offerings, including the Cosmic Voice Program, which is a six week program that , uh, is, is a live taught program at the moment. It's live taught in any case. And so what we journey through in that program is really , uh, facilitating a healing around different aspects of your soul voice. So we work with the voice of your inner child, really connecting with her. We work with the voice of priestess past lives, calling them back in. So inside the cosmic voice, we're working with reclaiming and healing different aspects of your soul's voice, voice . And then what I find is that upon completing that program, women either feel called to continue that self-healing work, or they really feel at, well , and or 'cause we are always self-healing. They feel called to, to support others in doing that work. And that is the role of our practitioner training, which is the Priestess of Sacred Sound Practitioner Training, which is a six month journey online. And then I also hold in-person immersions for our priestess students to go deeper. So the Priestess of Sacred Sound Program is this amazing vessel, really for you to explore the ways that you sonically want to create in the world. So what's always amazing to me is that the expressions of our priestesses that we highlight once a year, when we do our collective concert at the end of the journey, they're always so different. Some women are called to really empower their speaking voice through ceremony, through ritual, through the ways that they are expressing in the world, perhaps in calling in their own soul language, their light language. Because this is so activating for others to hear as it's that pure expression of divine energy moving through us. For others, it's through song, through writing song, through composing chant, through really embracing the songwriter, the muse. For others, it's through the creation of sound ceremony, sound journeys, sound baths, working with the crystalline energies, working with the frequencies of their voice. And so we cover all of this in the training, and the idea is that it enhances and for one of a better word up levels , all of the offerings that you're creating in the world, because when we actually have the full presence of our voice in our offerings, so much more can be transmitted and activated in others. So some of the women are in the healing realm already. For others, it's the first foray into doing healing work for others. And our priestess training is open to people , uh, wherever they are in their journey. You don't have to have taken the preliminary cosmic voice journey, although I really recommend it as a prerequisite. And I also support a small number of women, one-to-one who really desire support with birthing their creative offerings into the world. Uh, so it's a really full spectrum of different offerings that we have. And all of it is really guided by this connection with this very ancient lineage of the musician priestess that we see across the ancient world, across all cultures that I have looked at and researched so far, at least, there is that archetype, not only of the priestess of the, the female spiritual leader, but the one who's empowered in using the arts of sound of healing sound. So I bring in a lot of that, I call it herstory as opposed to history, right? I bring in a lot of that into what I teach to provide a context , uh, because I just feel it's so powerful and many of us who are drawn to that work have lived life lifetimes upon lifetimes serving in these ancient temples. And we feel that remembrance in our DNA and we can inspire each other through the remembrances that come through.

Speaker 1:

And so with these , um, different transformations, so over here we have, it's a little bit different. We don't have , um, like a strong priestess leading each over here. And so we might have , uh, sound healing events and things like that that we can attend to be able to connect to the sound frequency. And so I think what you're saying is there's, there's much more to explore on this path if you are interested in sound and interested in moving into that , uh, frequency more. And for those who are called onto the sound path , I have a girlfriend who's very interested in , uh, learning more about using sound within her , uh, healing space. I think what you're saying is there's so much more to this journey. So if you are being called on it, there's probably, there's a remembrance happening.

Speaker 2:

Yes, for sure. And sound is an ancient tool for healing that has been used for many millennia. And we see this in the construction of ancient sacred sites around the world that have a specific resonant frequency that matches frequencies that we know now have a healing effect on the body from medical science, right? So I'm talking about spaces like New Grange in Ireland, or the ancient hyper GM on the island of Malta, or many of the sonic temples of Egypt. It's actually my belief that in, in Egypt, all of the temples were built to precise acoustic proportions for specific sound healing purposes, not just for the Pharaoh and the, you know, the high nobility, but in the old kingdom and pre astic time for the healing of the community. And so these are ancient mysteries, and we come back again to that connection to serious and hor . And what these beings are actually gifting us in their connection with Earth is that knowledge of using crystals, of using earth materials to create spaces that are really a reflection of the resonant chambers of our own body, which is what the throat center and the womb center for women especially are. So our trainings are really all about connecting that divine template of the body with the workings of the voice and your own soul. And I really think this is work that is immediately transformational, because once you kind of know it, like even in in sharing this, in this conversation, I've shared in a lot more depth than I have done on other podcasts, you know, which is a testament to your beautiful questions, Mel. It's, it's, it's really that, that flavor of the teachings, once you know that, once you know that your body is, is a reflection of the divine, right? You can't unknow that <laugh>, you're never gonna forget it probably, right? Especially if we engage in regular spiritual practice and , and presence, practice, mindfulness practice. So it's not really about teaching a bunch of super in-depth science and super in-depth practices. The practices that I teach are generally really simple, but there's that resonance that people feel with them where they know that it's connecting them with something ancient and a part of themselves that had previously not been fully embodied gets the opportunity to come fully in and support you on your life's journey with everything that you create.

Speaker 1:

Mm-Hmm . And it's so fascinating, isn't it? Like I'm really fascinated by, by all of the background research that you've given as well. And that immediately really connects me to thinking about , uh, when you're talking about the journey of the soul, and we're talking about women who are moving into their spiritual journey, who are on, who all who are on their spiritual path, and they already have a spiritual business, but you know, perhaps they're feeling blocked creatively. They don't know why they , uh, can't , uh, I guess make a business out of it, bring in income. So they have to juggle many different , uh, many different jobs and or they feel like, you know, they've been on this path for a while and they've got their business and it's just not going anywhere, and they don't know where to turn . Those are some of the, I guess, the blocks and challenges that I think about when, when , uh, when you speak about this sound path . So how can this work help women who wish to create a spiritual business, but feel like there have been so many different fears and blocks coming up for them?

Speaker 2:

I love that you've asked me about the business piece, <laugh>, thank you for asking about that. When I was on my retreat last weekend with our year two priestess students, I actually did a workshop really focused on this for them. And it's a really important piece actually, and something that I get asked about a lot. And the key piece that I can share from seeing how this work impacts women who have spiritual businesses is faith and embodiment. So when we are hitting a block in the road, we are hitting a fork in the road, which I think all of us who have spiritual businesses have experienced at some point, it's an invitation to even more fully embody the voice of your soul. And guess what? Over time those nudges might change the way that you, the way that your voice wants to really speak through you into the world gets to change over time with how we grow and develop as divine beings. So when I look back to the very beginning of my business, the women that I was serving, then it subtly shifted, you know, over time it subtly shifted. I still have the same core message and the same core values that I bring in and, and all of that. But there's a piece about faith that has always come in for me when I've been at these blocks and these, these roadblocks, which is I get to ask for support here and ask my divine team for support in really seeing and sensing how does my voice want to express in the world? What are the ways where maybe I am changing or, or modifying my voice, keeping my voice hidden or small in some way to please others or to please my business coach, or because I think that's what's going to bring in more income or , uh, I'm following a strategy that someone's given me, but I'm not feeling a hundred percent resonance with it. Trust those moments, those moments are such gold. They're such gold. And in my business, the times when I've been in full creative expression and flow with my voice have a hundred percent been been the moments where the universe has met me with more abundance. And I don't see the times where that hasn't happened as bad or wrong. I really embrace, you know, what we might call failures because they're showing me the ways that I can come more fully into alignment with my voice. And this is the key difference between spiritual entrepreneurs and regular entrepreneurs. For regular entrepreneurs, the main goal motivation is most likely service, but also making money, right? For spiritual entrepreneurs, it's helping people with their soul. That's the key piece, right? We're actually working on this different etheric level in everything that we do. So the regular business strategies are not going to work for us the majority of the time, right? If we just take them as red, we have to tweak them, we have to infuse them with our own voice. So I love working with women who are on this path of, of birthing businesses. I find it so exciting, honestly, I I just think women spiritual entrepreneurs are trailblazing the future of business for our world. And the voice is such a key piece, trusting in your voice, embodying these new pieces of wisdom that are coming in from her in any given moment. Such a core piece on the entrepreneurial path.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. And I just absolutely love what you've just said because I just think women in general who, who are creating spiritual businesses, are so brave. And when often it takes time to go through the relearning process, because like you said, it's not like operating a normal business. It's not like working in the corporate world. It's not like , uh, you know , uh, having a traditional role. Um, and so often these teachings , uh, aren't readily available to us, so we don't know where to go for help. So I love everything you've just said because as well, I, I felt that shift myself from when we went through Covid to now many years later. Uh, we are really being asked to step up so deeply, and it's not always easy to step up. It's not easy to take that next step, and it's not easy to go through that relearning of where , of how we need to create in the world. Um, not in the masculine way , um, but in the divine feminine way that was a part of society thousands of years ago. Um, so we are relearning all of those different teachings, and I feel like within your course , you know, you provide an such a great grounding for that work.

Speaker 2:

Oh , thank you. Thank you. That's a really beautiful compliment. I have a couple more pieces to share around that. Is it okay to share? Yes. So , uh, the first piece is about doubt, which is something that I think a lot of female spiritual entrepreneurs, well, entrepreneurs in general, but from speaking to a lot of sisters, I know this is a core piece that many of us face is which step do we take next? It can feel overwhelming, right? There's so many different tasks to do, which tasks are gonna move the needle forward as they say, which tasks are gonna make a difference to growing our communities? And what I often see is, and what I have experienced is a paralysis that happens where we get overwhelmed and we don't know which step to take. So we end up not taking action on our dreams and our creative visions, whether that is a creative project, right? Like, like , uh, recording an album or a business project like launching a course. If we, if we let doubt take over, we can enter this paralysis place, right? It's one of the most difficult human emotions to face, I feel. And so when I'm talking about listening to the voice, the full voice of your soul, and trusting in that and acting from that place, sometimes this is really difficult to do because the answer might not come straight away. We might not really be ready to receive that message on a conscious level. It might be so deep in our subconscious that it takes a while for our conscious mind to really catch up with what our priestess path our next step is gonna be. And so when this happens, we can get caught in that cycle of doubt , right? And so I'm not by any means suggesting that we have to feel in a hundred percent alignment with everything we do before we do it, and we can't make a decision in our business before we feel the full voice of our soul coming in, because that would be really challenging, right? But it's a good rule of thumb. And at the same time, it's better to take some action and learn from the experience if it doesn't work out the way that you envisaged that will help you to get one step closer to what that true voice is. So this is what I'm always encouraging my clients to do, is take some action, really, really make, make an effort in the , in the three D world, not just on the internal, right? It has to be reflected on the external if we're talking about spiritual business, because you can do all of the manifestation meditations you want, right? But if we don't actually take some action, we are not gonna learn any, anything about how things are gonna unfold. So that's a really core piece is to take action, even if you're not a hundred percent sure, because it will help you to get more sure about your next step and then to help you to do that. Astrology is such a powerful tool. It's something that I bring in now to all of my one-to-One Sessions is, is an understanding of our natal blueprint. And I'd love to hear your opinion on this Mel as well. 'cause I feel like, I feel like you're gonna have an opinion, but I feel like astrology, and if you're not into astrology, then you know, another tool like human design or gene keys , something that can really help you to tune in with your unique expression and the ways that your soul enjoys to express in the world is so important. You might not be super called to create a YouTube channel or create a podcast the way that your voice wants to express might be through a different lens, a different medium. And understanding the core placements in your birth chart around voice, around expression in the outer world, all of that is gonna really help all spiritual entrepreneurs to get to get on track really with how their soul truly wants to express in the world.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I love that you've mentioned astrology. Um, I gifted both myself and my daughter. She turned 21 this year and last year , uh, yeah, last year I gifted her with an astrology reading and myself, so we both had one in the same week. She's a Virgo, and , uh, she's got a lot of earthy signs. Um, she's very , uh, psychic. She's already on the path, but she is studying law, so <laugh> , but I can feel she's, it's, it's gonna click for her even though she's on a very academic path right now. Um, and she hasn't heard the priest desk call yet. She's only, she's only 21. But , uh, we need more

Speaker 2:

Conscious lawyers though.

Speaker 1:

That's, we do,

Speaker 2:

That's a very important service for sure .

Speaker 1:

Well, she's, she's in her third year of study now and e every single night. We, we have tarot time, we call it, and we sit there and we do give , give readings to each other. So she's been learning the tarot for <laugh> a long time now. Amazing. Um, through me. And she get , obviously gets to see my work. And so I studied Laura as well, by the way. Um, and so, but I, I, I, I didn't continue. Um, but she's in her third year and she's doing so well, and she's so academic and okay, so I gifted her with the astrology reading, and she was so thankful for it, because the guidance that she received reflected her path back to what her intuition was telling her. So her intuition was really telling her, and my intuition as well, when she's asked me what path should I follow, was to really move down into that international human rights law field. Mm-Hmm . <affirmative> rather than , uh, moving into this corporate path, which we know brings all of the money. So moving into this heart-centered path. And the astrologer affirmed that in her chart. She was going to have a lot of international travel with her job, and she was going to be working in those areas, and it, it , it's just, it , it , it just solidified that for her. Mm . And so she actually ended up winning the human rights Mooting Trophy this year at university. And Mooting is , uh, like mock court. Some people might not know what Mooting is, but it's a competition between hundreds of students at university. And she ended up winning that. And so that showed her that it showed her something really special, and that was that her path or her soul or her destiny was really written in the element of the stars and, and that she could use that , uh, she could use that now. And how beautiful is it that she's learnt that so young? And so for me, it really showed the opposite because she's a very earthy nature and I'm all Pisces <laugh> and water. And so , um, we balance each other out quite a bit, but mine was the opposite. And so mine was a lot of , uh, I think it was like a lot of 11th and 12th house kind of stuff, very, very spiritual. Um, and she affirmed to me and said , uh, that, you know, your path is really within this spiritual, spiritual realm and within spiritual business, it just made me feel like I was on the right path. And so I've been, it's funny that you mentioned that tonight because I'm wanting to learn a lot more about astrology over the next couple of years. And it's definitely something that I've put on the forefront , uh, with going back and doing a bit of research. And I was actually going to ask her today and sent her a message, where can I learn more about, about the astrology within the rose lineage , um, because that's something I'm really going into deeply, you know, next year. And so I wanted to find out where I get that information from. So I'm really excited about the astrology part. And then my girlfriend very, she's very earthy as well. She is a Taurus , and she did the same thing, and she was just, yeah, she just couldn't believe what came up.

Speaker 2:

It's so fascinating. There's always, there's always a message in the stars. And as someone with a scientific background, I was previously really quite skeptical of astrology and <laugh>. I mean, I know it's the world's oldest science now. I really feel that. I feel the amount of research that the ancients put into this incredible system, which just makes sense. It makes total sense. Something that my family and I love to do. Uh, it's a fun game, <laugh> for anyone who loves astrology , uh, which helps you to hone your kind of astrological instincts is , um, when I'm at home with my family, we, and we're a little bit bored, we sometimes play this game where we think of a celebrity that we all like, and we try and guess their star sign and, you know, see how well we do. It keeps us entertained for like, shockingly hours on end. And, you know, often we're actually quite accurate, you know, <laugh> . Yeah . It's, it's so interesting. Um , and I also love , uh, when, you know, you know, your sun sign, your rising sign, maybe your moon sign as well, it can be fascinating to look up which famous people have a similar blueprint to you throughout history. Uh, and yeah, see if you feel a resonance with them because it's, it really is like this, these archetypes, these archetypes that move through humanity that really help us to learn more about ourselves and our core motivations throughout our lives. So yeah, I, I love astrology as a tool and I bring in a beautiful astrologer. Maria Jones, who's another priestess of Avalon star priestess, I bring her into my priestess program. She does a whole masterclass for us on the astrology of the voice, which is a really powerful grounding for the women at the start of the training because it's such a powerful tool to, to fall back on as well throughout our priestess journey whenever we're needing insights and clarity about anything that comes up.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'll definitely have to reach out to her because I'm, yeah , I'm definitely up for a new reading as she's

Speaker 2:

Amazing.

Speaker 1:

I'm definitely up for a new reading as well. I only wish that I received that information 20 years earlier, like my daughter. So talking about the path of creation and learning how to use the source of creation to, within our spiritual business, how does the voice connect into the healing journey of the womb, the priestess path, and also the fear of being seen in our authenticity?

Speaker 2:

Such a , a multilayered question. Yeah. Thank you. So for men and women, the sacral chakra, the horror is where our creative life force energy is generated and stored. And this is a very ancient teaching that comes from many different spiritual lineages, right? So my personal preference, what I actively study, it's the Daoist lineage find , I find it endlessly fascinating. And so this, this region of the body, which for women is the womb space, whether we have a physical womb or not, this is a profound center for connecting with our creativity. It's the core center for doing that. The root chakra as well. The root chakra is, is really more about safety, stability, our , our actual physical manifestation, physical embodiment here on earth. And the sacral center is deeply connected with then how we harness that creative life force energy from the earth. We bring it up through the root chakra, through our connection to earth, through visualizing that earth energy coming up into the body. And then in , in the sacral center, that energy gets to be activated and circulated around the body. And so the, the teachings that I share are really all about reconnecting that channel of energy between the womb space, which is where your creative energy is birthed generated, and the throat center, which is where your creative energy then gets to express out into the world. So it's a very simple concept, but one that I guess most of the time in our society, in our western society, in our creations in the world, we don't really often think about it in that sense of a deeper embodiment of our creative energy that comes from the sacral. And actually going back to the path of the spiritual entrepreneur, this is a really core piece, is bringing this womb centered wisdom up from the womb space to the throat through our creations. And that that gets to be a pathway through which we connect with our authentic expression. So I often work with different guides in connection with the womb space. For me personally, on my womb healing journey, Mary Magdalene has been such a core guide for me. And it was actually through my own womb healing journey when I was healing from fibroids in my womb that I channeled the Mary Magdalene frequency. That was how that song came through, was through really asking Mary Magdalene for support in healing my womb. And so you can see how she responded to me with a message of voice activation, right? That two-way harmonic resonance between the voice and the womb. And I know from speaking to other women that that song, which I don't think of as my song, you know, it's, it's the it's magdalene's song. It is, it , it is helping other women to activate their voice. That's one of the, one of the gifts of that song. So that's a , that's a bit of a piece about the connection with the womb here, which is, is so important. And through our connection with our own womb space , of course, part of the healing of disconnection that many of us feel with the womb space comes from connecting with the cosmic mother and the womb of the cosmic mother, and healing our own relationship with this concept of mother. Whether we have a great relationship with our biological mother in this lifetime or not, we're all children of the divine mother. So it's, it's feeling how we are one with her through our own womb space. And so a lot of the journeys that I take people on are really working with that concept of healing within the womb of the great mother, because she not only helps us to embody our divine essence, but she also helps us to heal our physical body. So many of the women who are drawn to this voice work and womb work are experiencing physical disease or pain in their throat center, maybe in their thyroid and or in their womb space, in their sacral chakra. And so these teachings, I know because they're how I healed my own thyroid disease, I know how profound they are for working with the physical body. And it's, it's really essential work to really have that, that full Embodied sense of knowing that we are healing is when we make that connection between our emotions, our emotional body, and physical healing as well.

Speaker 1:

Yes, I've definitely connected with Mary Magdalene , uh, with healing and clearing out my womb trauma over the last couple of years. She's such a strong guide that I always felt held and I always felt protected while I was going through and clearing that out. And I did notice that, as you said, it wasn't just , uh, healing that womb center, I noticed that I had a channel that was opening up from my womb to my throat, and that, again, was very painful as well. So yeah. So for me, it's also very similar. I had the womb pain and I had some , uh, ovary pain, and, and that was why I'd in , I initially went on that wound clearing journey with Mary Magdalene. Uh, and I would say it took a good two years, to be honest, to move through that journey, which is a really long time. It feels like a long time, but then when I think back, it's not really, I feel like I'm probably more of an older soul. So I had so much to clear and saw so many past lives there that I had to work through. And then clearing the channel up and down the throat center, I always find the throat. It just gets me every time clearing out, then clearing out that throat center. My thyroid issues came back from like 20 years ago. And so I'm, I've really, I , I feel like over the last month they've given me healing to work with those thyroid issues. And I did go into the doctor. Um, I will say it wasn't a very productive meeting. The meeting <laugh> , the meeting with my guides was definitely a lot more productive. But , uh, yeah , so I feel like that's what I've been healing and clearing out right now is, is the thyroid and the throat center over the last month. So I'm really glad that you mentioned that. And I will say that Magdalene frequency , um, I, 'cause I've been writing books this year, I've gone back really into my sort of journalism. I studied journalism and media, and so my calling was to channel and share through, through books. And so that was the call that I had last year. And it was quite a difficult call to stop seeing my clients and to stop doing that and, and move into this , uh, creation portal, this creation channeling portal like you're saying. And I had to relearn how to create through the womb center and how to bring that up, but also how to birth it out into the world. And that's the hardest part, is not like having that expression within yourself, right? But then birthing it out into the worlds is such a challenge. <laugh> learning how to relearn to do that is such a challenge because I feel like so many people have so many ideas, but you've got to, you've gotta be able to birth it onto the earth, don't you? And so that, that's what I had to relearn this year. A a lot of, a lot of that kind of work.

Speaker 2:

Yeah . That's amazing that you are writing many multiple books, not just one book, <laugh>

Speaker 1:

Multiple books . Yes. I brave , I braved up, listened to my , uh, I will say it took a while. I did get the message probably a couple of years ago to stop seeing clients. Um, so it took a little while for me to move into that transition and to brave up and to , uh, to learn how to ride in a different way. 'cause I've always been in that creative expression, you know, studying journalism and being a writer and, and all of that. So I've always felt that higher connection. But when it actually comes to , uh, working with that womb space , it's a different process. It's not the same process as if I was say , uh, writing for a media organization. You know, this is really strong , uh, work , uh, that I am trying to bring out into the world. It's work of the higher universe. It's, it's not really the work of me, even though I have to do that transformation in order to, to, to , uh, get the writing. Uh, so yeah, it's been super transformational. Um, I'm glad I'm, I'm on the other side of that journey, <laugh>. I'm on. I've, I've definitely been told that I'm on the end of that eight year cycle and we'll be moving into my new cycle next year. So I am so looking forward to that. 'cause I've done so much hard work, <laugh>.

Speaker 2:

Yeah. I really feel that from what you've shared and celebrating you and honoring that journey that you've been on of birthing a book, I feel like writing a book is a legacy work, right? It's, it's part of creating your legacy. And so it , it's, it's one of these creative marathons that I, I feel like it's unrivaled, you know, it really is. I mean, recording, recording music and recording albums is also a challenge. But even, I mean, unless you are your own music producer , uh, even in that case, it's often collaborative, right? You're working with other musicians or you're working with a producer, but writing a book is this very solo journey. I, I remember really feeling that during my PhD and writing my PhD. It was like, no one else is gonna sit down and write those words like

Speaker 1:

<laugh> .

Speaker 2:

And it's incredible training in mental discipline as well, which, you know, it was a Capricorn, I love a bit of mental discipline. Yeah .

Speaker 1:

<laugh>. I so felt that, yeah . And that's actually that the point I, I think I didn't mention the point that I was getting at, which was in one of the parts of the book, when I speak about Mary Magdalene, when I speak about all of this wound work , I was listening to your Magdalene frequency and, and channeling through all this beautiful, all these beautiful words. And so , uh, yeah, I just, that, I think that was where I first came across your work was , uh, being called to the Magdalene frequency. And I found it by accident.

Speaker 2:

Oh, wow. Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I didn't go looking for it up ,

Speaker 2:

It just,

Speaker 1:

It just literally came up. I was on that part where I was writing , uh, that part of the book and it came up and I thought, wow, you know , I'm gonna put this on. And as you said, it's a solo experience, solo experiences, <laugh> , you know, aren't that easy. Um, and so I, I try and put music on as much as I can to help that channeling come through.

Speaker 2:

I think that's really why Jerome, my partner and myself, we felt called to create those frequencies, was to create, they're almost like mini snippets that just help you connect with that temple sacred energy and, and uh, call in the presence of that guide into the moment. And so they're like, they're like reminders on the path. So I really, really love that you shared that and I'm so happy that it supported you in that moment.

Speaker 1:

Yes, it definitely did. Just what you, just what you just said. And I have quite a few girlfriends who listen to the frequencies as well. Oh . So where can people discover more about your work and get into contact with you to learn more about the Priestess of Sacred Sound?

Speaker 2:

Thank you, Mel . So grateful for this opportunity to share about what we're creating at Myrtle Grove . So you can go to my website, which is elsa field.co uk. Elsa is like the Disney Princess, Elsa, ELSA, <laugh>

Speaker 1:

<laugh> .

Speaker 2:

Uh, I was not named after the Disney character, by the way. I'm much older than that. But , um, it was quite funny 'cause when that movie came out. I did have bleached blonde peroxide hair <laugh> , and of course I wear a lot of blue, so it was like, did they, you know, did they name the film after me? <laugh> , maybe . Anyway, yeah, Elsa field.co uk. I'm on Instagram, Elsa underscore field . Uh , I'm on YouTube. You can listen to all of my music on YouTube. On Spotify , uh, wherever you listen to music. And on my website I also have long play meditation soundscapes available for download as well. Uh , and on Spotify, all of the divine feminine frequencies. So I think, yeah, I think that's it. And yeah, look forward to connecting with those who feel called to find out more about this pathway of the divine feminine voice.

Speaker 1:

Thank you so much for coming on the podcast today, and I really appreciate , uh, your in depth of knowledge that you've brought , uh, to us today as well.

Speaker 2:

Thank you so much, Mel. It's just been so wonderful to have this platform to share about what I'm creating, what we are creating, this priestess of sacred sound path. And thank you so much for everything that you are doing to uplift the voices of other women creators es so grateful .
