Meet Paul Growns, a street patrol officer with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) who proves it is never too late to pursue a lifelong dream. After serving 23 years as a ground engineer in the Royal Air Force, Paul transitioned to policing at age 47.
For Paul, policing is a second career he truly loves, viewing every day as an unpredictable opportunity to solve problems and interact with his community. He believes that "life experience" is the golden ticket for any aspiring officer, as it provides the comfort and respect needed to help people through their most difficult days.
