Breaking Chains, Finding Freedom, and Embracing a New Calling

Exorcism can bring powerful freedom—but what happens when spiritual battles keep coming?

In this episode, I sit down with country western musician Joseph Bommerstock—better known as Blind Joe—as he shares his gripping story of deliverance. Born blind and raised in a home tormented by addiction and spiritual darkness, Joe’s life was marked by generational curses, alcoholism, and demonic oppression. But through faith in Jesus Christ and the power of exorcism, Joe found freedom—and stepped into his calling to help others do the same.

📌 What you’ll discover in this episode:

✅ How generational demons influence addiction and destruction
✅ The spiritual warfare behind persistent torment and bondage
✅ Blind Joe’s transformation through faith, deliverance, and purpose
✅ How music and ministry merged in his personal healing journey
✅ The critical role of mentorship in deliverance and exorcism ministry

Joe’s journey is a powerful reminder that no battle is too dark for God to redeem—and that healing often leads to calling.

Introduction and Music

Speaker 1

Glory of the Lord. Most of my life I've tried to fight a screaming demon. Yes, I've always struggled bad, with 90 proof Y'all. But lately there's a book that I've been reading and it's been showing me the way, the light and the truth. And now my eyes have seen the glory of the Lord, Lord, Lord. Yes, my eyes have seen the glory of the Lord, Lord, Lord, yes, my eyes have seen the glory of the Lord. It don't matter if you're blind, cause it's light, it always shines. And my eyes have seen the glory of the Lord. I saw the glory of the Lord.

Speaker 2

Now let's dive into today's episode.

Speaker 2

I recently had the pleasure of helping Joseph Bomberstock get rid of generational demons through the compassion and authority of Christ. He is known by his stage name, Blind Joe. Despite his lack of eyesight, Joe is an incredibly talented country western musician and vocalist. Like many I work with, Joe was dealing with deeply entrenched generational curses which led him to seek my help. He had demons. You are really going to enjoy this interview. I encourage you to share it with anyone you know who loves country music or anyone struggling in life. This is an inspiring and powerful testimony of the impact of exorcism and the compassion of Jesus Christ in freeing his child from demons. You can visit Joe's website at blindjoecom to find out more information about his music and stay updated on his tour dates. He's very active on his YouTube channel as well, so just search for Blind Joe on YouTube to find him. I'll include links to these resources in the show notes. So let's all get on our cowboy boots and meet Blind Joe. Joseph, welcome to the Blind Exorcist.

Speaker 3

So glad to be here, Justin. Thanks so much for having me, brother. I really appreciate it.

Joe's Childhood and Rejection

Speaker 2

I appreciate you taking the time out of your schedule to come on and share your amazing story with everybody and, like I mentioned in the intro, joseph is an amazing musician, very gifted, and he's got a gospel album coming out soon, so you'll want to check that out. But we're really not here to talk much about his country career, although we will touch on it. We're here to talk about his exorcism experience and it's important. I'm excited to have you here, joe, because it shows people that, yes, even musicians can have demons. I think most people know that they look around and they see things, the lifestyles and everything of no matter what genre, that there are demons heavily involved in people's lives. But there are musicians who you may not think would have demons and I dare say Joe would be one of those musicians.

Speaker 2

Remember, it always starts back in childhood Almost everybody that I work with each client the childhood always. I work with each client, the childhood always and the generational curses, and Joe's no different. So we're going to jump in here and talk some about Joe's childhood. We're going to talk some about his blindness and, by the way, I had somebody tell me one time this is pretty funny actually they said I'm so happy that you're helping blind people. So this person's perception and God bless them that me the blind exorcist okay, that I'm only helping blind people get rid of their demons, helping blind people get rid of their demons, so that's hysterical to me and I'm sure Joe's laughing. I have him muted right now.

Speaker 2

But everybody I work with is sighted. By the way I've had the pleasure of serving Joe, he's blind and another young lady that was blind, but out of those two, every client I've ever worked with has been sighted. Just for the record, let's start back Joe in your childhood and let's flush this out a little bit. Joe was born and lost his eyesight very I believe it was at birth, joe, you can recap that but he had a sighted younger brother that was favored and this brought a very traumatic dynamic into Joe's life as a very young child. And so I just want to come over to you, joe, and I'd like for you to just share with us a little bit about your childhood and how this really unfolded here the dynamic of your blindness in comparison to a sighted sibling, and the relationship and the dynamics all around that and how that impacted you.

Speaker 3

Sure man. So, yeah, I was born actually three months premature and I have a condition called retinopathy of prematurity. And when I was probably about six or seven years old, my brother, scott, was born, and I don't know that I would say that he was favored, because both my mom and dad were very loving parents and my dad my dad's old school he's a he was a strict parent but really good dude. I think it was just easier for him to include my brother in things that he liked to do, because, because of my blindness, he didn't really know how to go about teaching me how to do those things Number one and number two. It was things that I wasn't interested in. So my dad and I share a mutual stubbornness and, as well as a, we're interested in what we're interested in, and was never really interested in music and computers, just like I was never really interested in hunting and golf. So it just so happened that my little brother was, you know, so as a young kid. I don't know that it affected me a lot, but as I got older and as I was a teenager I think that's really when it started to hit me that dad's really not into what I'm into, and just like I am not interested in what he's doing, he's not interested in what I'm doing, and I always, in the back of my mind, wished that he would take an interest in what I was doing. So as a teenager, I felt a little bit rejected there. And then, after I graduated high school, my dad really wanted me to go to college, and he wasn't the only one pushing me, but he definitely was saying hey, you know what you need to be able to have some kind of degree, especially being blind and stuff like that. And so I ended up going to the University of North Dakota.

Speaker 3

I'm from North Dakota, and so I went to the University of North Dakota for a while, and the thing of it was is, when I went there, I didn't really have a lot of orientation and mobility training at all, and that just means getting around campus and stuff like that. And so I didn't last very long there at all, probably a couple of months. And I vividly remember coming back home and my dad coming into the room I was in and just saying what are you going to do now? You blew it, you went and peed this down your leg and you know I just I don't even know what to say or what to do.

Speaker 3

And that really affected me quite a lot because I thought, well, does he believe in me and what I want to do? And I remember telling him not this time, but a little while later we were having another conversation I said I really want to write music, I've got these songs that I want to write and try to get into the music thing. And and even then he was like you need to get a nine to five job and you know, you can't just be relying on this music. It's not going to get you anywhere, and this and that and the other.

Speaker 3

And so again there was that feeling of rejection hey, I'm, I really think I have something with this. And my dad said you need to do this instead of that, because it's not going to happen. And although that also made me more determined, I think that's where I get it, get my determination now. When somebody says, oh, you can't do that, not only do I do it, but I do it tenfold and I do it very well. Back then it really hurt me, but now that it fuels my fire when people say things like that.

Speaker 2

I think one thing and thank you, joe, for sharing your life here. This is good. People don't understand that musicians are real people with real pain and real rejection. And in Joe's case this started very young between him and his father. Young boys and teenagers require and deeply desire the approval of their father. This is just simple psychology and for the majority of Joe's early years and teenage years he wanted his father's approval and he was not getting it in the way that he needed, which was the music. His father could have supported him in that and boosted his support with that, but he didn't. It was you're going to have a nine-to-five job. This is never going to work. You're going to have a nine-to-five job. This is never going to work.

Speaker 2

So the rejection was early on and a lot of you listening have had very deep rejection from your parents or the single parent that raised you, or maybe you were even adopted and have felt rejection around that. This is a very common situation that demons leverage to enter a person Rejection and abandonment Because if you're rejected and abandoned, satan will come there and fill that void for you. He absolutely will fill that void for you. If you're rejected, he can bring you as many lovers as you want unlimited. And every time you sleep with someone, bam, more demons. You feel abandoned. Not a problem, here's some cocaine or, in Joe's case, a fifth of Jack, and we'll get into that in a little bit.

Joe's Early Music Career

Speaker 2

But I think you understand my point. Those of you who have been rejected deeply the trauma is still there, it's not healed and through that rejection oftentimes comes demons. And it doesn't matter. People can take rejection and do something constructive with it, but it's still torment. For example, workaholism it's an addiction. Doesn't matter that you're making a million dollars a year, working 70-hour weeks or whatever. The bottom line, what's driving that is your trauma. That's not resolved. It doesn't matter that you work out and you have the perfect body, you still don't love yourself because of the rejection from your father or your mother. So as a way of compensating for that trauma, let's work out and be the best that I can be. That doesn't always have to be a bad thing, but it is when it's fueled by rejection, because demons are there almost inevitably. They love the pain, they fuel the anger, they fuel the resentment, they fuel the hatred. That's just what they do. So I just wanted to touch on that a bit because really this is where it started in Joe's life and we'll get into the exorcism eventually down the road but it started between him and his father and for many of you it's the same. It might not be between you and your father, it might be between you and your mother or your stepfather or your stepmother or whatever the case might be, but it started early and it's impacted your decisions in life and it's impacted you in very negative ways.

Speaker 2

Joe, let's touch on how you got started as a musician and then eventually we'll get into the Fifth of Jack, which was your go-to. Mine happened to be Captain Morgan. I was drinking a gallon a week to try to cope with the trauma inside of me and you can hear this in episode one, my testimony, my story Overcoming the Darkness. If you've not heard it, I encourage you to listen to it. But, joe, when did you first start getting into music? I know at a young age, but there was a certain point of time where you realized that you could actually start making money from being a musician. Can you tell us a little bit about that?

Speaker 3

Yeah, sure man, musician. Can you tell us a little bit about that? Yeah, sure man. When I started getting into music, when I was about three years old, my grandpa was a musician. He played in bands around North Dakota and Minnesota and he was the one that really got me playing and singing folks like Hank Williams and Merle Haggard and stuff like that. But when I realized I could really make some money at this, I had this was right.

Struggles with Alcoholism and Finding Faith

Speaker 3

After, actually, I dropped out of college, I went to, went from North Dakota to Arkansas, really got as far away as I could from North Dakota and and I had a buddy in school that had said, hey, there's a little bar down the street and I've been playing music there on Tuesdays or Wednesdays or whatever day it was. And I was like, really, you can do that around here. And yeah, I just went in and asked him. And so I thought, well, I'm going to try that out too. So I went down to the bar and I asked him hey, my buddy says he's been here playing music. What do you think? Can I get on stage for a little while? And yeah, they said, man, this is where I need to be. And ever since then I've just been doing my own independent thing and, yeah, it's where it's worked out. It's worked out rather well for me. I'm not a huge moneymaker or anything like that, but I'm able to feed my family and that's what matters.

Speaker 2

That's cool. That's cool, and I believe the school you mentioned you were down at was it the Hadley School for the Blind.

Speaker 3

I think now it's just called World Services for the Blind, but back when I was there it was called Lyons World Services for the Blind and I completed their customer service course down there and played some music while I was doing that and then went back again a year later to take an IRS course, and the reason that I didn't complete that was because of the music.

Speaker 2

So eventually you wind up down in Tennessee. I believe you were down in Nashville, the country central hub down there. How did you wind up heading down there?

Speaker 3

That's a long story, man, to go from Arkansas to Tennessee, because I was about 19 years old in Arkansas and I wasn't until I'm 40. I'll be 42 this year and I moved to Nashville only three or four years ago. So what happened was I started playing music in Arkansas and then came back to Fargo, north Dakota, where I'm from, and started booking shows in North Dakota and playing around there for quite a while. I ended up getting some really good opening gigs and toured with David Allen Coe and Craig Morgan and really just I was truly blessed. Of course, back then I wasn't really praying to God or into Jesus or anything like that, and yet he was still blessing me and I know that now. But I was married for a couple years as this stuff was all going on, and to a woman that was deeply involved in witchcraft and things like that, and there's that's a whole nother thing we could get into. But after we, after I finally mustered up the courage to get out of that situation, I got my own place.

Speaker 3

I was probably about 30 by this time got my own place and really started drinking more heavily than I already was, which was pretty heavy indeed. I was up to a liter a day for quite a while between vodka and whiskey, and I broke down one night and I just started praying to God. I said, lord, there's only one girl that I've ever met that I knew was the one for me and if it's possible for you to bring her back to me, I'll do everything I can to stick with you and stick with her and do right by her, because she was an amazing girl. Her name is Leanne. She's my wife today. We've been married for 10 years now, but thankfully, god is always listening and he's always there, and he definitely answered my prayer in that regard, because I'll never forget it.

Speaker 3

It was my birthday, july 14th of 2000. I want to say 2011. She called me just out of the blue and she actually got ahold of me on Facebook and we called each other and that was it. We both knew that that was it. She came up and saw me a couple weeks later and we started hanging out after that and she really had a rough road with me because I was like I said, I was a big drinker and it was hard for me to quit.

Speaker 3

I've been through multiple treatments, all voluntarily. I never got in any trouble or anything like that with alcohol. But, and you know, nothing ever worked for me. And finally, with her I kept trying and kept praying about it and pretty soon I'd go a couple of weeks and then I'd go a month without it, then I'd go two months, then five months, then now I'm proud to say I'm over five years sober now and feeling great. But it was a rough road. It was a rough road and if I wouldn't have had her and I wouldn't have had the Lord Jesus in my life, definitely wouldn't have been able to make it happen, because I was I was a drinker buddy, that's for sure.

Move to Tennessee and Impact of the Pandemic

Speaker 2

Yes, and I can relate and thank you, lord, for your mercy and freeing Joe and myself. Lord, and many of you listening have had addictions that the Lord has freed you from, and some of you listening still have addictions. You can't shake them and you're like there's no way. This is demons. You're like I got this. Tomorrow's a new day. You guys remember that pattern. Tomorrow's it man, this is it for me. Tomorrow's it. I'm starting clean. I got this but I don't have demons, even though I keep doing it over and over. But absolutely have demons, even though I keep doing it over and over, but they're absolutely. There's no demons in me compelling me to addiction. That's crazy, there's no way. Uh-huh, we'll talk about that in a little bit, but just a couple of things to point out here.

Speaker 2

With Joe, his first wife was in the Wicca. That contributed more toward his possession and the alcoholism definitely contributed to it and it's being layered up here on Joe. He's being layered up, started in his childhood with the rejection, first wife into Wicca, then the alcoholism. Then he meets his wife, leanne. She's a saint, she's wonderful. I've had an opportunity to meet her. And eventually then, joe, like you're saying, there was a lot going on here between North Dakota, arkansas, but you wind up down in Tennessee. And what happened down in Tennessee?

The price of fame

Speaker 3

Yeah, how I got there was in 2015,. I was on a television show called the Voice and after we spent a couple years doing North Dakota, south Dakota, minnesota and around where we live we're playing around here because that's where a lot of my fan base is I decided you know what we really need to get down to Nashville and see if we can make this thing happen. And I had stopped drinking by this time completely, and because I knew that if I went down to Nashville and I was drinking anything at all, it was just going to be complete chaos, because Nashville is a drinking and drugs kind of place, at least where I was at and that's not to say that there aren't people that don't, but it's definitely prevalent down there, as it is in any big city and we got down there and I started playing a lot of different bars down on Broadway, had a great time, met wonderful people and had a lot of fun. But, of course, 2020 hit. We were down there at the end of 2019. I think we got down there in October and by March of 2020, the pandemic came into play and that really changed the whole game for everybody and we started coming back up here for the summers and touring up here, because things weren't as crazy up here in Minnesota, north Dakota, as they were down there. But I was able to write a song in 2020 that really hit big in 21, called I Will Not Comply, and that really is what enabled us to get out of Nashville.

Speaker 3

Because what you find out quickly when you meet with record labels and bigger people in Nashville is that there's always a price to pay for fame and there's always a sacrifice that needs to be made, and it's just not a game that I'm willing to play, whether it's sacrificing the integrity of my music or sacrificing my Christianity. And people think that's a bunch of hogwash. Oh, they don't know. They don't really worship the devil in the music industry. It's not really the way it goes and to an extent, they're right. Some people don't worship the devil, but you have to remember, is satanic worship is not really about worshiping the devil. It's about worshiping self. If you go back to Aleister Crowley and his Thelema and all this stuff, do what thou wilt is pretty much the basis of all of it, and that's definitely the case in the music industry. If you want big time, fame and fortune and all that stuff, there is a price. You pay for it, and I'm not willing to pay that price and got out of there as quick as I could because I knew that they're. Number one I could make more money up here at home and be with family. And number two I'm just not willing to sacrifice my integrity or myself or my family for a little bit of money and a little bit of fame. It's just not worth it. And plus, when I got on the Voice in 2015, I had a little taste of fame, a very little taste, and it's just not my deal.

Speaker 3

I'm a very extroverted person. I love people to death. I love helping people. I really genuinely care about people. But being blind and being pulled in multiple directions physically and mentally and emotionally gets taxing very quick. And I don't even know that being blind, I think being sighted it probably gets taxing as well. Fame is it's easy for people to say, oh, if I was famous, it'd be great, because I'd never have to worry about anything ever again. But the reality of it is, man, it gets old fast. You're constantly bombarded by everything and you really don't have a lot of time to just be yourself unless you make it and by make it unless you make the time. That's not my deal. I'm very appreciative of all the fans that I have around the world, but I'm awfully glad that I can walk to the grocery store without being completely just harassed and have a camera shoved in your face and all that kind of stuff. Completely just harassed and have a camera shoved in your face and all that kind of stuff.

Speaker 2

It's not fun for me at all. Yeah, I think that's a valid point, that you really don't own yourself. When you're famous, you are owned. They tell you what to do. You're going to be here this week. You're going to be there next week Go.

Speaker 2

And in many ways it boils down to money. And in many ways it boils down to money. And Jesus Christ said it best in the Bible you cannot serve two gods, either you will hate the one and love the other. You cannot serve both God. And the key word he said in the King James mammon money.

Speaker 2

Mammon is actually a demon and it is responsible for a lot of things. Mammon is a tyrant. He will work you to death for you to make money, and when he wants to pull the carpet out from underneath you and shatter your life, he'll do it in an instant and then convince you to kill yourself. This is Mammon. He's also responsible for poverty, keeping people in poverty, living from check to check. Yes, I get it. People make poor life decisions and it costs them. Yes, but many of the clients that I work with have a curse of poverty on their life because of mammon, an ancestral curse.

Joe's First Encounter with demons

Speaker 2

Joe, really, you realize that this just isn't for you. This isn't for you. You love music more really than the fame and your fans and helping people, and I will link to Joe's YouTube channel on this podcast in the notes, so feel free to check it out. He's got a tremendous voice. He's a great entertainer. You should watch him on the Voice. You can tell instantly he's gifted as an entertainer. He just pulls people in very naturally. He's very comfortable with it and it's a gift from the Lord, so it's awesome. But in spite of all of this, there came a time in your life, joseph, that you said something is not right, something is off. Have you ever said that friend that's listening. Have you ever sat up one day, or out of bed, getting up in the morning, or maybe when you lay your head down at night? Something is not right, something is off, something is off. Joseph had that moment and he thought to himself I have demons, I need help, demons, I need help, joe. When was that that you came to the realization that perhaps what?

Speaker 3

you're suffering is demons Again. It's a long story, justin, but when I got back from Nashville, I had things happening to me that were just unexplainable and weren't me per se just unexplainable and weren't me per se. I, my mind, felt very cluttered. And then, at one, what really got me praying and wondering what was going on was I was on my phone one day and it was plugged into the wall and my phone electrocuted me, and when I pulled it away from my ear, there was immediately a lump on my ear that had never been there before. I had no idea why it happened, but for some reason I knew in my mind that it was cancer, and it scared me to the core, because my dad had been dealing with cancer, has been dealing with it for a while, a couple years before this and it just. It really freaked me out, and I instinctively knew that what I needed to do was pray. And as I started praying, the Lord started letting these demons come through and reveal themselves to me, so much to the point where I could hear in my mind kill yourself, you need to kill yourself because now you have cancer and you need to figure out a way to get some money for your family and then you just need to kill yourself, because what else are you going to do? And I knew that wasn't me. I am not a.

Speaker 3

There was a time when I was really heavy into alcohol that I tried to take some pills, but again, that wasn't me either. And this I was sober and I was. I just knew I'm going. This is crazy. Am I going crazy? That's what I thought. So I knew the only thing that I could do was just pray as hard as I could, and so I started looking into different people on YouTube First. I started first. At first I was like, okay, I'm not doing this, this is not happening, I'm not going to kill myself. But it was so insistent that finally I gave in and I thought, okay, I need to figure out a way to make some money then, if I'm going to do this. And so I went on YouTube and started looking up black magic.

Speaker 3

If you can believe that just it's insane to sit here and say that is, I think, wow. But this is what I want people to understand is that the this is the pull and the power that these demons can have over you. And thank God and I mean that, thank the Lord Jesus. Above that, he was with me the entire time and pointed me to. The first person he pointed me to was a guy by the name of John Ramirez who was very involved with Satan and Satanism and stuff like that and got out of it and I watched his videos and in turn I was pointed to Vlad Staffchuck and Isaiah Saldivar and, of course, bob Larson.

Speaker 3

And boy, let me tell you something, you know that those prayers, all the deliverance stuff that they had on their channels, this saved my life so dramatically and I just kept praying and I was reading all these books about deliverance and I got into people like Don Dickerman and when I found Bob Larson is when they really started to fight, fight for me. And they're like, no, he, this guy. The things that would go through my head oh, this guy's a quack, this guy's crazy, this guy's. And I hadn't thought this stuff with anybody else. But when it came to Bob, it was like, oh, this guy's, just he's out of his mind. So I kept sticking with these other folks Isaiah, vlad, stuff like that, derek Prince and learning their prayers and saying their prayers, and I eventually started having dreams. The Lord gave me dreams about setting myself free and I can go into that more if you want, but the bottom line is I was praying so hard every day and finally, I'll never forget it.

Speaker 3

I was sitting on my couch and you and I both know, justin, that a lot of times when demons are expelled, it's coughing, burping, vomiting, that kind of thing. And I sat on my couch there and I let out the biggest belch. I could feel it come from the pit of my stomach and I felt these things leave me and I felt the Holy Spirit bring his heat in and fill that void and it was the most amazing, amazing feeling that I've ever felt. And at that point I just went wow, it worked. The Lord really loves me and this is happening for me. And I felt up to my ear where that lump was and it was 100% gone. I'd still I still check once or twice a week just to make sure, because it was a really scary thing for me. But yeah, I've had no sign of it or anything like that.

Speaker 3

And since then I want to be honest with people too. I was a big weed smoker and stuff like that. I was smoking hash oil, not weed straight up hash oil, and so I had to get off of that. I got myself out of that for a while, but I backslid and that does happen, and I don't want to say that to make an excuse for somebody to go back to their addictive behavior. But I want you to let people know that Satan's biggest deception is guilt, and he'll guilt you into going farther than you need to. I could have just taken one little hit of weed and went no, I don't want to do that.

Speaker 3

But the guilt that came over me when I backslid is what drove me into smoking again and thankfully, once again I prayed and the Lord was kind enough to show me these demons again, to the point where they started attacking me and I heard them in my dreams.

Speaker 3

Then they would say we love you, don't do this. We love you, we want you to stay, we need you to stay, and that's all it took for me. When you hear that and you know that you're not crazy, you know that you need to get back with the Lord and get back with the Father, son and Holy Spirit, the blessed Trinity, and thankfully, once again they saved my life and I just I'm forever grateful and I tell God that every day I say Lord, jesus, I know there are a lot of people that have met you and you've shown yourself to, and all I want to do is you know, I've never seen you before. All I want to do is just give you a huge hug and tell you thank you, because without your love and without your you know never-ending compassion and strength, I wouldn't be who I am today, and it just brings tears to my eyes to think of not only how he saved me, but how many times I went against him, and he's still right there for me.

Joe Starts Exorcism Sessions

Speaker 2

Amen. Thank you, jesus, for mercy and for freedom. Joe gets involved with deliverance because he's hearing voices in his mind compelling him. The key word here is compelling compulsion. You have anything in your mind that compels you, my friend, listening Compulsion, compelling demons. So Joe is resisting this and it's so strong that he's almost going to give in to it. He finds Deliverance Ministries. They don't like Bob Larson, they don't like any Deliverance Minister. But Dr Larson's been doing this for oh my gosh, 40, 50 plus years, over 50,000 exorcisms. He knows what he's doing, plus years, over 50,000 exorcisms. He knows what he's doing.

Speaker 2

And I remember, joe, you first heard me, I think, on Dr Bob Larson's YouTube channel and you'd reached out because you were so excited you had just been through deliverance, self-deliverance, and I said you may require more. And at that point you said you were okay. But a year later you got back a hold of me and you said I think you were right. Now this isn't a matter about me being right. This is just based on experience. I knew that there had to be more there than what Joe had handled with him and the Lord. There had to be some more layers here. I just know that based on experience working with people. So eventually you did come back around. You're like, hey, man, I need help. And that is when we got into actual exorcism not praying on your own, repeating prayers and the Lord did deliver you from whatever that was.

Speaker 2

But there were many layers to your story, to your demonization, to your possession. There were many layers and demons hide secretly in the background. They're very strategic and Joe had quite a few silently in the background and they needed confronted. And so eventually Joe does arrange a meeting with me. Eventually I pulled in another exorcist to assist and we had three or four sessions with you, joe, to expel these demons. They were generational, they were there from birth and they were tormenting him in his dreams. They were tormenting him. He was having paranormal phenomena in his life where he would wake up and there would just be all this paranormal activity around him, in his bedroom and with him and his wife. And so he wanted these things out.

Speaker 2

And I remember you told me, joe, if you had sight, one thing, you would be as a soldier, you would join the military. And you've got that grit and you said so. If I can be a soldier for Jesus Christ, that's what I want to be as a blind person. So Joe had a very deep level of commitment of humility. So when we would meet for sessions there were no walls up.

Speaker 2

A lot of clients that I meet with come. It's quite interesting, they come with walls up. I'm okay, prove to me that I have demons, and it's not my job to prove to anybody that they have demons. It's up to Jesus Christ and you to figure that out. I'm just a servant to help people. But it's interesting to me that oftentimes clients come with this defense up up because they really struggle with being humble, admitting what has happened in their life. It's hard. I just recently had a client tell me that it's very hard to look at his family history and be real with it the dysfunction in the family, the fingerprints of the demons on the family, how he could see it. But he didn't want to accept it because it's difficult for a lot of people, not Joe.

Speaker 2

Joe came walls down, absolutely humble. Bottom line when he got on the first meeting is I want help. Anything you tell me to do, I'm going to do. Anything we need to do, I'm going to do. I am here to get rid of these idiots. That was pretty much his disposition and he was serious. That was pretty much his disposition and he was serious and because he was so, you know, humble, it worked out very well. Worked out very well Every session.

The reality of demons

Speaker 2

Joe would come fasting to every session for several days because he wanted rid of these things. He was desperate, he did not want them and that's key. So if you're ever considering getting an exorcism now I'm not talking about on your own renouncing things and all that stuff may help some, but getting an exorcism where demons are manifesting in you, speaking out your mouth, this is what Joe went through. That's an exorcism. Oh, we don't talk to demons. The Bible tells us not to talk to demons. No, it doesn't.

Speaker 2

Jesus talked to demons. Listen, dr Larson has been doing he's 80 years old man, he's been doing this for 50 years over 50,000 exorcisms. He's got to be close to 55,000 now documented. I think I'm going to listen to somebody that's been doing this for a long time than a pastor who's never done any of it. This is legitimately real folks. Joseph had demons speaking right through him. A born-again Christian, holy Spirit inside of him, loves Jesus Christ with his whole heart, and demons speaking through him saying this is mine, he's mine, he's too powerful. We're not going to let him go, leave us alone, and so forth. He got freed up. We weren't going to leave the demons alone. These demons were generational, born with them. And yes, there were demons there from the drugs and from the smoking, all that, and alcoholism and yada yada, but the core of them was generational Guys.

Speaker 2

And I just want to go on a little bit more about this to challenge your thinking. I recently met with a pastor and in my mind this pastor was the perfect Ken Dahl pastor. I mean he had the polished shoes, he had the suit and tie on, he had the Rolex watch on. I mean he was that pastor that was going to meet you when you walked in. Good morning, it's such a wonderful pleasure for you to be here in the house of the Lord with us. In the house of the Lord with us. Right, you get the picture right. Within probably an hour he was overtaken by demons that took over his body, speaking through him, not his voice. Eyes dilated, so black you can't see the white. His eyes look like snake eyes looking right at us.

Speaker 2

Exorcists A pastor. This is real. When I sat down with this pastor, I told him the worst demons you can have is the silent killers in the background making you think you're good, making you think, oh, you could never have a demon. That's ridiculous. Yeah, I want you to think about that friend, you who've been listening for a while, contemplating. Maybe this is true, maybe this is not. This is true, man and Jesus Christ wants to set you free. You've been lied to. You've been lied to that this cannot be demons, or you don't have demons. Yeah, I mentioned this to challenge you in your thinking.

Speaker 2

More and more pastors are coming, more pastors are coming, and these are—I just met with a free Methodist pastor who is going through the International School of Exorcism and wants to join Do what Jesus Did, which is Bob Larson's regional teams around the world. I'm on one of his regional teams, plus, I do the Blind Exorcist. And I'm not saying that, ooh, I do two things. No, I'm just saying I'm passionate about helping people. This free Methodist pastor is going through this so that he could bring it into his congregation, because he knows it's real. I've met with Baptist ministers. I've met with non-denominational, charismatic ministers who have had demons. This is real. You guys have heard them. You heard the one Southern Baptist pastor on here. You heard the Anglican reverend from Australia on here that had demons.

Joe Becomes a Certified Exorcist

Speaker 2

It's time to stop playing with this and take ownership and realize that the key to your freedom and this is why you keep coming back because you know this is real. You just haven't had the confidence to step out with it yet. But today's your day. Today, the Holy Spirit's challenging you through Joe's life, through what I'm sharing. Get rid of your demons. You want a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. You want to get rid of this struggle and heaviness that you have, friend, it's time. Get rid of your demons.

Speaker 2

And for those of you who think that you don't have demons and you're, I'm good, I'm good. That's that Joe Singer, guy with the booze and the smoking drugs. He's the demon dude. I'm good. Yeah, okay, listen to the episode I just did with Michael the intelligence officer Silent killers. When you deny that you have demons, most of the time you have demons. Let me say that again when you deny that you have demons, most of the time you have demons because they're the ones convincing you that you don't. Joe, I'm going to come back to you. I could go on forever about this, because I love people. I sincerely do, and I know you do as well, joe. I just want to see the best for them. I don't want them to suffer the way that I suffered, unnecessarily. This is why I do this, folks, because I care about you. I sincerely do want to see the best for you.

Speaker 2

And Joseph also has this passion. He gets freed up after four or five sessions. He even had one with Dr Larson. That was amazing. So he gets all freed up. And now he says to me the other day and I'm going to come to you about this, joe, in just a second I love people, justin. This is what Joe's saying. I have a heart of compassion, I want to help people. And Joe, as a blind person, went through the International School of Exorcism and has become a certified exorcist under Dr Larson's ministry. How amazing, how amazing. Jesus Christ will use anybody who has an open heart and wants to serve. And Joe absolutely has that disposition. He's doing exorcisms with friends. He's already working at it. He's excited about this. He said it's the most excitement he's had, the most exciting thing that he's been doing ever in his life helping people get rid of their demons. Joe, let me come over to you and can you share with the people what's it been like going through the school and becoming an exorcist?

Speaker 3

Justin, you're absolutely right in everything you're saying and I want people to know that all you have to do is ask the Lord to show you. Just say, lord Jesus, I don't know if I have demons or not. Please show me and I guarantee you he will show you. It will happen. But as far as my becoming an exorcist, going through the school was going through the International School of Exorcism with Dr Bob was easy as pie. Really, it's just a matter of watching the videos, listening in my case, listening to the videos, taking notes. I did the best I could with taking notes on my computer as I was listening, and then there are quizzes at the end of every lesson and it's just like going to school. Pretty much, and only for me, it was better than going to school because it's something that I'm really interested in.

Speaker 3

I'm passionate about my hatred of demons and I'm passionate about my love of people, and there's just nothing in the world that feels better than helping someone be free of evil and just hearing the sigh of relief and just the tears of joy that come over people when these demons are exercised. It's just such a wonderful, beautiful thing and thank the Lord Jesus that he loves us all and is so willing to forgive and be merciful and it's really wonderful. And so, as this has progressed, now I'm also a part of Do what Jesus Did and I'm working on going through the Advanced Academy of Deliverance now and I plan to take every course I can because, as I progress through Bob Larson University, it just gives me that many more tools to be able to help people and it's really it's a wonderful thing and it's. I've had nothing but awesome things come to me with through my music and I've been very proud of everything I've accomplished and stuff like that. But this is something that is so much more than that, because you're literally freeing people's souls from bondage and it's truly just a blessing and it's beautiful. There's really no other word that I can use to describe it other than beautiful, because you're genuinely helping someone.

Importance of Proper Deliverance Training

Speaker 3

When I play a show and I'm playing music for people, it's an escape for them and I can help them get out of themselves and get into the music and have a good time and for that two to four hours or whatever, however long the show is they're into it and they're loving it and they forget their troubles. But with exorcism it's, it's a lifelong wonderful thing that, as long as they protect themselves there, you can just. It's something that you just just. It's so unexplainable man, but you, just, you hear it in them. You see the immediate change, you hear the relief and the thanks that they give to the lord jesus. Because I don't do we, we as exorcists, we don't do this for notoriety or fame or oh yes, you're welcome. Thank you, joe, it's Jesus. Thank you, lord, because this is all about Jesus Christ.

Speaker 3

And to tears, because it's such a wonderful freedom that people experience, myself included. And if you can help people, if you can help somebody get these, I call it get the gunk out. If you can help people, get the gunk out. And you hear the first time, you hear it, the first time, you hear someone just breathe that sigh of relief and realize that your heart, through the Lord Jesus, is setting them free. It's just the most amazing feeling in the world. It's better than any drug, better than any drink, better than any show I've played. It's just so spiritual and so magical man, it's just wonderful. So magical man, it's just wonderful.

Speaker 2

Amen, and that's one of the reasons that I do it is that end result those of you who've been listening for a while, you've heard me mention this where people are crying and saying, thank God, it's finally over, the torment's over, or just the happiness at the end when they're freed up. It's wonderful. Nothing beats it in life. And so Jesus Christ has called each of us to cast out demons. It's the Great Commission. It's the Great Commission. If you don't know what the Great Commission is, google it and read up on it. But part of that is casting out demons, and we have been given the authority to cast out demons. But don't do it without training. That's where people make mistakes. There's a lot of people that we work with that come to us have had terrible experiences with deliverance ministry and I say it to them every time it's because the people you work with were not trained. They're self-taught. That's dangerous. That's dangerous when you're self-taught. Little YouTube video here, little YouTube there. Holy Spirit showed me this. Holy Spirit showed me that. How do you know it was the Holy Spirit If you've never been through an exorcism and have demons we've talked about this a lot on here they can speak to you just like it is the Holy Spirit. Listen to Aubie's episode, the one right before this. She thought she was here in the Holy Spirit the whole time and it was demons. So the best way if you'd ever be interested in doing this is to get training, and of course, I'm going to recommend Dr Bob Larson because of his experience. That's why the years that he's done it and his schooling is just top notch. So I've always been one very open to learning, humbling myself and going to learn from those who have went before me. I don't want to reinvent the wheel. Larson has figured this out. It works. I've been freed from demons by working directly with him and Joe has been freed from demons by working with Larson and with me and the teams at DWJD. This works. So if you have demons and need freedom, get ahold of me. Get ahold of me. Just send me an email info at justindcom and we'll start your healing journey, man, and get this thing going. And if you don't think you have demons, come see me. If you're that listener right now, you're like I am fine, I have no demons of any kind within me, come see me and, joe, we'll kick them up. Well, it's not us, it's the authority of Christ in us and it's the training we've had. That's key. Guys, be careful with all this stuff.

Speaker 2

Deliverance and this stuff is all the big hot topic in the church now and there's so many deliverance ministers out there just craziness, causing all kinds of spiritual damage and trauma to many people. So if you're considering deliverance, you better make sure the person is submitted to authority, they're under a pastor, they're plugged into a church for several years. But if you are considering getting into deliverance ministry, learn from Larson. That's the best advice I could give you. Learn from Larson.

Joe's Closing Encouragement for Deliverance

Speaker 2

I had someone tell me just the other day that this deliverance team somebody who's self-taught you got to watch out for that. The Holy Spirit showed me. The Holy Spirit showed me. Okay, when I hear that, I get very reluctant because oftentimes that's a Jezebel spirit. It's somebody that's prideful, that doesn't want to submit to authority and does not want to humble themselves and go be taught.

Speaker 2

This deliverance team was working with a woman and literally told her to renounce her husband. And literally told her to renounce her husband yeah, renounce her husband, who God has brought together. Again. People are not trained in this. You need to be careful with people out on YouTube and who you're working with. Dr Larson is a trustable source, as am I, as is DWJD, through Dr Larson's ministry. That's my encouragement to you. Not that other ministries can't help you they can't but just make sure that they are submitted to a church, that they have pastoral covering and that they have training. And what is the training? Where were they trained? Who trained you? Oh, this is a mess out there right now. Guys, be careful. Enough of that. I'm going to set that aside, but I think we have shared enough.

Speaker 2

Joe, thank you so much for coming on today. This has been awesome. I know you have touched the hearts of many people, man. Awesome. I know you have touched the hearts of many people, man, you have a precious spirit, you're compassionate, you love Jesus Christ, you love helping people and at the end of every episode, I always ask my guests to offer words of encouragement to the audience. So I'm going to ask that from you, joe, to just take a minute here and encourage these people about exorcism, about going for deliverance. There are people who listen and think that they're fine, they got the silent killers, joe. There are people who listen and know they have demons, but they're terrified of them. My God, my head might spin, I might vomit Lots of different thoughts out there in the audience. Joe, I'd like for you to just take a minute and give them some encouragement, joe, about deliverance and about exorcism.

Speaker 3

Absolutely, man. What I can say is I understand. I can definitely understand how someone might think oh man, this is a little crazy, it's a little weird. I don't know if I believe in it or not, and to that I would respond. If you're thinking that way, it's just like you said, justin. If you're thinking that way, you probably have demons, because what we have to remember is that Satan and evil spirits are not coming out guns blazing Okay, they're not. So often we get this Hollywood image of what demons and the devil are, whether it's the pea soup and the head spinning from the the Exorcist movie or the devil with horns coming out and oh, I'm tempting you and this and that.

Speaker 3

Look out for me. But the reality of it is that Satan is a master deceiver. Jesus tells us that in the Bible and I think if you look around our world today, you can see the deception with a lot of people. So don't be fooled. There's nothing harmful that can come to you from having an exorcist pray with you and renounce things and cast these things out and helps to save your life and to help you become who our Lord Jesus designed you to be. Nothing can hurt you. It's all about freedom, and not just physical freedom, but spiritual freedom. And that is where the lightning of the load really takes place, is in the soul and in the spirit. And when you feel that, man, that's when you realize, wow, I really did have a lot of gunk, demonic gunk, built up in there. And this is an easy thing, it's not. There's nothing challenging about it. There's nothing hard about it. It's just it can be hard.

Speaker 3

I think the hardest thing is to really dig down deep in yourself and admit to somebody else hey, I've done this in my life, I've had this issue in my life, I've had this problem in my life, but never forget. The Lord tells us to confess our sins to each other. Never forget. The Lord tells us to confess our sins to each other, and if we do that, he will do everything in his power to help us out, and, believe me, he has an immense amount of power. These demons crumble in fear of his name as well they should, because our Lord is the most amazing, wonderful, merciful God, and the blessed Trinity loves you so much. All he wants is your freedom, and it's like Justin said earlier. We've all been granted the authority to cast out demons. You just need to know how to do it, and with the training that we have and you can have this training as well Go to the International School of Exorcism, go to Bob Larson University online and take the courses, and you, too, can do the same thing. And this is what it's all about, man. Especially in these crazy times that we're in today, helping people get free is so important, so that we can get back to God, because the more people that we get back to our Lord Jesus Christ, the better off we're all going to be.

Speaker 3

If there's anything that I can do to assist you in any way, you can head on over to blindjoecom. There's a contact button that goes directly to my email. It's all in the name of love for our Lord and helping with your freedom. So please don't hesitate to contact me or contact Justin, or go to boblarsonorg, and any way you can get the help that you need, especially, like Justin said, if you think you don't have demons.

Speaker 3

You probably do and it's okay. It's okay. It doesn't make you crazy, it makes you human. These things are all over. The spiritual warfare is real and you can fight it, but you need the tools and we are blessed to have them for you, and you can have them too if you just follow the simple things that I just told you. Justin, my man, thank you so much for not only everything you've done for me, but everything you've done for a whole lot of people out there, in the name of our Lord Jesus, and I love you so much, brother, and I really appreciate you having me on and I look forward to hearing from people and just getting the gunk out, man, because it's all about.

Speaker 1

Freedom always shines and my eyes have seen the glory of the Lord. Yeah, my eyes have seen the glory of the Lord. Play it out now, boys.
