Dr. Lou Cella seemed to have it all—professional success, a doctorate, and national recognition. But behind the achievements was a hidden spiritual battle tied to a 27-generation curse rooted in Italy. In this episode of The Blind Exorcist, I interview Lou as we confront a powerful spirit that sabotaged his relationships, fueled isolation, and fed off childhood trauma.
📌 What you’ll discover in this episode:
✅ Why education and success don’t shield you from spiritual warfare
✅ How one generational curse can impact every area of life
✅ What the spirit revealed during live exorcism
✅ How demons use emotional wounds to block connection and love
✅ Why isolation can be a sign of deeper spiritual bondage
The moment the exorcism ended, Lou felt rage and anger leave instantly. For the next 36 hours, he experienced peace, clarity, and joy—and with the isolation finally expelled, he was able to attend church for the first time in decades. His deliverance testimony proves that demons don’t care about credentials—but Jesus Christ still sets people free.

Welcome back to the Blind Exorcist. I am Justin D, your host. Thank you, my friend, for tuning in yet again. You and I are now up to episode 30. We've crossed over into the 30s, so we're getting there One amazing testimony at a time.
JustinToday I sit down with Lou Cella. He is a sports performance psychologist with a doctorate and, as you can imagine, lou is quite successful, externally right, he's well put together, has a professional career, excelling, very polished on the outside, however internally tormented by demons. And this brings me back to one of my main points that I often illustrate on this podcast Demons do not care about your degree on this podcast. Demons do not care about your degree, demons do not care about your education right, and demons don't care how polished you are on the outside. They do not discriminate. Demons will vex and torment anybody, even those well-polished and put-together, and even strong Christians.
JustinWhat I love about this episode is Lou brings the heart of deliverance to this conversation, which is desperation, and Lou mentions that deliverance is for the desperate. And this is so true. Desperation is where deliverance begins, and this really struck me, and so I recently wrote a blog post titled Deliverance is for the Desperate, and I'd like to invite you, my friend, to tap on that link in the show notes. Deliverance is for the Desperate. And I'd like to invite you, my friend, to tap on that link in the show notes. Deliverance is for the Desperate. Read the blog post and share your thoughts with me. JustinLike many of you who listen, lou had a traumatic childhood abuse from the father, lots of rejection, and this carried on throughout his entire life, vexed with demons at birth, further reinforced through the father's abuse, all backed by a generational curse. So on this episode, I take a deep dive into the generational curse that was vexing Lou's life, going back 27 generations to Italy. So you'll want to tune in and check this out. This is very interesting. A lot of deliverance ministries do not deal with generational curse breaking, and it's essential if you want deep freedom. If this interview hits home with you, do me a favor. Tap on, support the show in the show notes. Any amount helps, seriously. Any amount helps me. JustinIn the show notes I've included a link to Lou's website and his YouTube channel. So if you know any high school football coaches, get this information into their hands. If you know a wife of a high school football coach, a friend of a high school football coach, get this information into their hands. I know that they're going to find it very beneficial. Lou specializes in working with high school football teams, coaches and players. Good stuff. With all of that out of the way, let's jump in. Lou. Welcome to the Blind Exorcist. Thank you for having me Justin.
JustinFor those of you who have been listening for a long time, the foundational message that I want people to understand is that normal, functional people in life can have demons. Type of exorcism or people that have demons are people who are severely mentally disabled, like schizophrenic, or people that are homeless, but never somebody that makes good money, never somebody that's college educated. We are above this, and so you guys hear me poke fun at that arrogancy all the time, because every person, regardless of socioeconomic status, can have demons. I've always said that demonization starts at childhood and lose dead. Many people do not get freed going through deliverance ministry because a lot of deliverance ministries do not believe in generational curses or they have no training on how to break generational curses. It's mission critical. Also, the inner healing, which I mentioned in the prior episode if you've not listened to that where I interviewed leah about inner healing. It's essential for you to have both exorcism, inner healing and therapy.
JustinOkay, so lose started in his childhood and vexed him throughout the majority of his life, so lou, first of, thank you again for coming on here. Lou, I'm going to come over to you and I'd like for you to just share with us a little bit, because we understand you're a sports psychologist. That's a big title, that's a big deal. I don't care what anybody says, that's cool and that's a big deal. But when we met we talked some about your childhood, a little bit about your father, a little bit about how there was the abuse there and so forth. But can you share with the audience, just so they can understand that having a little bit of a rocky childhood is normal? Can you tell us a little bit about what your relationship was like with your father and with your mother?
Understanding Demons and Forgiveness
LouThe funny thing, justin, as I'm sitting here, I'm looking at a picture of both my parents. They're directly in front of me, so as I look at them, I see love. But I will say the early part of my childhood, the first 10 years, my father certainly did not fail to spare the rod he used to keep a stick above our refrigerator and if I was disobedient I would get hit with the stick usually the legs, the behind, the back. Sometimes it would get a little more aggressive than that. I can remember one time in particular I was being very defiant, but my father had a horrible spirit of rage when he was younger and it was downright scary and my mother to this day still doesn't really talk about it. But as the years went on, my father got a lot better and I made a lot better and he passed away in 2013. But really I wouldn't want another kid to go through that and fortunately my nieces and nephews never had to go through that with my brother. My brother didn't believe in doing that to raise the children and as far as my mother goes, mother is a. She was wonderful to me, still is wonderful to me. She just texted me, I think, just as the podcast started. So I have a very close relationship with my mother. My mother definitely protected me those early years, though it was scary, but I can say now like I've forgiven him.
LouThe one thing I've learned, justin, about if you want to have as few demons as possible, you have to forgive everybody who has ever harmed you or wronged you. And often and Derek Prince said this, he said that often means the people closest to you the most are the ones you have to forgive. And years ago I called Lake Hamilton Bible Camp, who's been known for years for bringing in deliverance ministry preachers like Wynne Worley and John Gogin, who I've gotten to know really well, and a host of others. And I called them a couple of years ago and I asked, I said what's the number one key to not getting demons or getting rid of them? And they said that if you want to have demons, don't forgive people.
LouIf you want to get rid of them or not get them, you got to forgive. You got to forgive everybody and you got to do it with authority and it's hard, but you got to forgive. You've got to forgive everybody and you've got to do it with authority and it's hard, but you've got to forgive, forgive and I have long forgiven my father and, listen, I've had to forgive my mother and, most importantly, I've had to forgive myself for a lot of things too in life. But that's the thing I've learned. So I don't look at my father as this heinous guy. I look at him as someone who suffered from the spirit of rage and as time went on he calmed down and turned out to be a pretty pretty good father. So that's what I can say about that.
JustinI think you bring out some really good points here, lou. First of all, for the listeners I talk on here all the time that it starts in childhood and maybe I paint a picture that it's always horrendously bad, like incest and rape and smashed up against walls by fathers and these sorts of things, and certainly that type of childhood happens with many people neglect, abandonment and all these sorts of things. Proudhood happens with many people neglect, abandonment and all these sorts of things. But I think what Lou shared is pretty common for a lot of adults who listen. You had a mother and father Now, not everybody. So this is specifically to people who had a mother and father in the home. And maybe your home life was bad, but not like the worst case scenario and this is what Lou's sharing. His father was abusive. Back in the day you got a rod down, you spanked a kid and he got it on the back, the butt, the legs and his father eventually worked through the rage. The mother was nurturing and supportive and protective of Lou. But I think people need to understand that when they listen to these episodes that I'm not saying that you have to have an extreme, terrible childhood to have demons. Most people are born with demons out of the womb because the parents have never broken generational curses and so certainly in Lou's case, because of the abuse there were some things that entered their generational curses. We're going to get into that in a little bit the abuse from the father. There's going to be rejection there from that Unforgiveness like he was speaking about.
JustinAnd I agree a hundred percent Fact If you don't forgive, you got demons. They love unforgiveness. In fact I heard a friend of mine tell me one time refuse to be offended and that's how you keep Satan away and demons Refuse to be offended. I refuse that. Offense Satan. I don't care what they said, what they did, I refuse that. That's how you protect yourself from getting unforgiveness to come in. But unforgiveness is key when many of you listening right now have probably some level of unforgiveness toward people and maybe you're unwilling to give that up. But my encouragement to you is forgive.
Lou's Educational and Professional Journey
JustinI have people say during session they might say I can't forgive my father, I can't forgive my ex-husband, I can't forgive my ex-wife. I'll have them say I forgive. In this example, I forgive my ex-husband to the best of my ability, or I forgive my mother to the best of my ability. So start with that and open your heart to Jesus Christ. This is so important. Forgiveness. I'm so glad, lou, that you brought this up. It's foundational, and when we work with people in session, we always start with unforgiveness. We always start with unforgiveness. Demons hide behind that harbored resentment, that harbored hatred, that harbored anger. They just love it and feed off of it. So, lou, you work through your childhood and you get into your teenage years and eventually you start university. What was your undergraduate degree in?
LouSo I received an associate degree in education, and then I went to my four-year school East Stroudsburg University and my degree was in secondary education English, and then I became a teacher in 2000. And then I'm going to radically summarize the long story. I became a school librarian by simply passing a test, which you could do on the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, for library subject area. So I did that and I got my master's in school library and information technologies in 2009. And then, after a myriad of events, including a heart attack in August of 2009, I decided I wanted more out of life and I did not want to teach forever and work in schools forever. By the grace of God, he and a former friend of mine started a business that eventually took off, and by the time I got to 2011, I ended up making more money doing that than I did in education, and I retired from teaching on July 1st 2011. It was one of the happiest days of my life.
What a Day Looks Like for a Sports Performance Psychologist
LouA couple months before that, I had started my doctorate in sport performance psychology. Basically, I did it because my plan B was to do the business and then to end up teaching college courses on the side. That was the original plan B, and in 2015,. I got my doctorate in sport and performance psychology, so I asked for my doctorate's end. So I work as a sport and performance psychologist, but really all it is. It's the same business I've always run. I became sole proprietor in 2013. My business partner decided to go back into education and that's what I do right now. I really don't need a doctorate to do it, but I got one and it has helped me think definitely at a more elite level because of the research I was able to do and the specific things I learned in my doctorate. So I am grateful for that.
JustinSo in a day and life of a sports psychologist, what does your day look like? What does a sports psychologist do? There's people listening who have no understanding of what that even is or what you do. So can you talk to us a little bit about what is a sports psychologist, what are your roles and what do you do for work?
LouOn a normal day, I spend my day doing content marketing, which is I make YouTube videos. I post YouTube videos on YouTube onto my website, tripleoptionfootballcom, and it goes on to various social media channels. I do that along with I do a sports psychology post that goes basically in the same manner. So that's the content marketing.
JustinI do.
LouI work pretty much predominantly with football content marketing. I do. I work pretty much predominantly with football, so I'm always looking for the accurate email addresses and social media feeds of head high school football coaches. What I get to do when I get a client is I run a three-day football camp at their high school with the coaches and the players and I teach them how to run the Army Air Force triple option offense. And I do online education for coaches where I teach them how to play, call, install and practice Army and Air Force's offense, and I've been doing that the last 15 years, so it's a specialized niche. People generally hire me based on my testimonials I've had. I've been blessed, by the grace of God to have really successful clients.
JustinSo a lot of marketing. And when you hook up with somebody, then you go meet with them for three days of training. And when you're there for those three days, what are you doing there, Lou? Are you like teaching them how to run plays? Are you teaching them thought processes on how to psychologically prepare for winning? How does that look? So what?
LouI do is, if it's a AMP client, they get the online academy first, which is I'm going to teach them how to play, call, install and practice the army, air force current core triple option offense the right way the first time. So by the time I get out there, what I do is I have their players run 720 plays in under seven hours, so we break that down over three days. I think too many times we focus on the wrong things, where we have to focus on the most important thing and go from there, which ultimately is what Jesus says and what Jesus does. And if you ever look at Bible Gateway, it is a website that obviously focuses on all aspects of the Bible. But if you ever check out the top 100 verses that people read at Bible Gateway, study that and you'll find that people are really drawn to what Jesus says and what Jesus does and you can build from there.
LouNow, the reason I'm going on that tangent Justin is because I'm driving a point across to all the listeners here when it comes to helping people, you've got to know what's the most important thing and really, if you could just focus on one thing, you're going to make a lot of progress with people in all aspects of life and beyond. And that's what I try to do is give people a real mission, like the Great Commission in Matthew 28, 18-20,. That's the mission of what we're supposed to do Go make disciples of all nations, baptize them in the name of the Father, son and the Holy Spirit, and to obey everything the Lord Jesus commanded us, and he'll be with us always, at the very end of the age. You have to give people a mission and you've got to beat them with that mission metaphorically of course, until they can think with their feet and they can't get it wrong. So there you go.
JustinYou had demons, and when did you first come to the realization that I have demons? How did you recognize that within yourself?
When Lou Realized the Demons Were Real
LouI had a friend. I had a friend who's deceased now and I knew he had demons and I kind of knew in the 90s there was something really wrong there, because I could watch his face get torched and I knew there were issues there and I watched the demons just grow and grow in him to the point where one day he drank a lot of alcohol and downed it with 20 Vicodin and his heart blew up. So I could see that he was demonically possessed and it was bad. Look, and I'm going to say this and people can fight me on this, I don't care, everybody's got demons. The goal is to have as few as possible. If you're breathing, you got them. You got them Because there's just endless ways for them to get in. The goal is to have as few as possible. That's what I'm fighting for every day and that's what everybody needs to fight for every day. It's the same thing with sin. God won't let you be perfect, but he will let you fight to get close and we should be working every day to sin less. Lord Jesus' standards are going to sin, no more, obviously. That's the goal is you sin as little as possible. But when it comes to demons, if you're breathing. You got them. The goal is to get the big ones out and to get as much of it out as possible, and that's why Deliverance Ministry is the most underrated ministry out there by far.
LouNo questions asked. People are scared to talk about it because people are just so distant from it, and I've seen deliverance ministries. I've watched so many mighty miracles and I know Justin has as well, and he's been a big part of them. So, as far as my demons go, I knew stuff was wrong when I was a kid but you can't quite know exactly what it is. When I knew for sure there were things that were really wrong. I would say in my walk with Christ. I would say probably sometime in the 2010s, but I would say during COVID and I'll say this real quick During COVID and with the political unrest in this country, I will never forget this I was driving and I stopped at a stoplight and I was thinking about what's going on in this world, like COVID, political unrest.
LouThis is crazy. And God actually spoke to me One of the very, very few times I can remember God speaking to me this transparently. And he said Lou, this is spiritual warfare. And he said this is basically not about humans. This is more than that. So don't judge the people by the people. It's by the demons they possess, and he said that to me. Now there might be some words out of place there forgiving father, if it's not exactly that but spiritual warfare was transparent. So for the last five years I've been on a rampage, trying to figure out myself first, and then other people to try to help them, and that's what led me to so many ministries like Dr Bob Larson, wynne, worley, derek Grintz Although I knew of Derek Prince for years before Whirly Derek Grins, although I knew of Derek Prince for years before John Gogan, who I've gotten to meet several times. He has a church in the Buffalo New York area.
LouHe does really good deliverance ministry and there have been others Vlad I can't pronounce Vlad's last name, it's Russian, but yeah, it's just some powerful ministry. But I really started focusing the last five years. I knew stuff was wrong with me when I was a kid, Like I just knew it. Like demons are persons without bodies. That's what they are and just multiply if you don't take care of it. So I made a choice that I need to take care of it. Deliverance is for the desperate. You've got to be desperate if you want deliverance. So, believe me, I got hopeful, I got desperate and I got delivered. And I got a long way to go.
Shedding the Weight of Demons
JustinAll excellent points, lou, I think what stuck out to me in what you were sharing is that you really began to research and dive in. You started consuming materials, books, deliverance ministries and learning because you wanted to improve. Right, you wanted to improve, and I think that's important. And that would be my question for everyone listening, my friend do you want to improve? I just talked about this in the last episode with Leah. It astounds me how many people do not want to improve. They just want to stay stuck in life, stuck in misery, stuck with their demons, stuck in their dysfunction, and this is the way they want to live until they draw their last breath and fall over dead. And I can't understand that. I get it, because it's hard to change and there are people on personality types that have great difficulty with change and they like normalcy. Even if that normalcy is demons and torment and sleepless nights, at least it's something normal. I get it. But on the same hand, wouldn't you want to improve? Wouldn't you want to have a better night's sleep? Wouldn't you want to have peace in your mind, peace in your life, getting rid of the demons? Lou said it no matter what, everybody's got demons, and listen, I think it's right. I was speaking with an exorcist friend of mine a couple months back. He said, justin, the only reason people come to us is because they can't live with their demons anymore. But a lot of people live with their demons till the day they die because they're not in enough pain from them to come for help. And I thought, wow. I said, dude, I don't get that, because I wanted them out. I was so sick of the torment. And you guys, if you've not heard my story Overcoming the Darkness in episode one, I had severe paranormal phenomena all through my childhood, teenage years, young adult years, tormented relentlessly by these demons, and I'm like I'm getting rid of these things. And so I did. So. I think what you shared, lou, is it's extremely valid. People have demons and it's a matter of getting rid of the big ones. It's a matter of minimizing the amount of demons you have so you could be more effective for the kingdom of God. This gets back to what I was speaking to in the prior episode. You have a kingdom purpose and demons are like this If I put a backpack on your back and I put a thousand pounds in that backpack, okay, and I said, now just go through life with that thousand pounds on your back. So you're walking straight into the car and you fall in the car and then you start the car up and you drive and you go to church and you pull in oh Lord, I'm so happy I'm here. But then you go to get out of the car and you're straining a thousand pounds and you walk in and you're like I got a smile. So you got this tormented, straining smile on your face. Hey, I got the victory.
JustinThen you go for an exorcism when you say, okay, we're going to take some of these weights off of your back. So instead of doing a thousand pounds now, after your first exorcism session, you're down to 800. Now come on back because there's more we can do. So then you come back, we take 800 down to 500. And now you're really starting to feel the freedom. But you know it's still we can do. So then you come back, we take 800 down to 500. And now you're really starting to feel the freedom. But you know it's still a little heavy. It's still a little heavy. You get out of the car, you can walk in, but you feel a little bit in your lower back, you feel a little bit in your ankles. 500 pounds is still a lot. You're like man, I got to go back for a little bit more. You come back, you go through another exorcism session. Bam, now we're down to 300. You get my point. This is how exorcism is. Get rid of those weights, my friend. Goodness, gracious, lighten the load.
JustinI hate demons and I hate the demons that were in me. I hate demons so bad, oh, they infuriate me. I absolutely despise them and hate them. Filthy, unclean, tormenting. Episode one I told you they tackle me out of the bed and I'd wrestle them. I'm not even making this up Now. Most people hearing this would say he's crazy, blah, blah, blah, no, bro, like severe paranormal stuff. And I went to Dr Larson. He was the only one who could help me and that's why I became an exorcist. I'm like I don't want anybody to experience this, but my hatred toward demons runs extremely deep, extremely deep.
JustinI can remember when I'd have sleep paralysis. I would be straining to get out of it and I would be saying to them in my mind, because they'd paralyzed me where I couldn't open my mouth, and I'd say you are going down, you are going down, and I would call out to Jesus Christ and I was so like if I could physically roundhouse, kick them throat, chop them, I would do it. Oh, they infuriate me. They have legal rights to be in our souls, our emotions, how we feel, our thoughts, how we think. But at the end of the day, they're just legal rights and they're punks and they're trespassing. As long as we break those legal rights, we can get them out trespassing. As long as we break those legal rights, we can get them out. This is great. I hope you guys are getting something out of this. Take that backpack off, go for some sessions.
JustinI told you guys I go one or two times a year for exorcism sessions. Just because I'm an exorcist, don't think that I'm 100% clean. I know when I first went through all my exorcism sessions for 14 months, I'm like, yeah, man, I'm free, I thought I was free, and then a little while later and have a little demonic, paranormal stuff happen. I go back where I just be getting tormented and I'm like demons don't have a legal right. There's something in me that I don't know what it is. Christians don't have a legal right. There's something in me that I don't know what it is Like.
JustinThere comes a point in deliverance ministry where you've told everything you could tell. There's nothing hidden and you're still being tormented. There's an open door that you don't know what it is and oftentimes that's generational curses. So I'll go back to Larson. When I'm being tormented, I'll be like and I document it A, b, c and D these are the four things I'm experiencing and I'm coming to you, dr Larson, for interrogation because I don't know what's causing it. You don't know what's causing it and the demons do. So let's get him up and interrogate him and then I just go neutral. He does his thing. He gets them up, he finds out what it is. We renounce it. He expels them. Game over, done and that's it. That's it.
JustinIt's not hard and that's what I would love for each of you to do is to get freed, get those demons out and then get the inner healing Got to deal with the trauma. Every client that I work with, 90% have never went for counseling, have never went for counseling, and it's essential because Dr Larson mentioned to me one time this really stuck with me that if someone goes through a traumatic experience and they go through counseling and go through therapy in a healthy fashion, they normally don't get demons. But if someone goes through a traumatic experience and they don't go for counseling and therapy, they almost always get demons, and it makes sense because they have a gaping wound and they can't heal it themselves. So what are they going to do? Become resentful and anger and unforgiveness. So demons get in. They're just going to do drugs, demons get in, and so forth. Right, you're going to try to self-soothe yourself in some way, and therapy is the best.
The Curse That Traveled 27 Generations
JustinJust some random thoughts to share with you guys about this whole thing. What really sparked this, though, lou, is you're like it's a matter of getting rid of them as many as you can to minimize their impact in your life. And it gets to a point where you get rid of them enough where you can be really effective for the kingdom of God Really effective Because you become much less self-absorbed the more demons that you get expelled out of you. Demons love for us to be narcissistic. They love to keep making you think of yourself and drive you into isolation. They love to just make you be narcissistic and self-pity and self-absorbed. Demons love that, and it's easy for them, it's not hard. I've suffered that, all of us have suffered this. Where we're self-absorbed and we're woe is me. We're in isolation and there's demonic influence behind it. Keep that in mind.
JustinSo, Lou, you came to us and me, you and Tom. That's another exorcist that I work with. Tom's awesome. I had him on here and his testimony is Tom and Margaret Painter. You can listen to his testimony. He's a certified exorcist as well. He's great.
JustinSo Tom and I meet with Lou and it wasn't any time. We let him through some renouncements, some forgiveness, and it wasn't any time to where we got a demon up and the first spirit that came up in his soul, his emotions, how he feels, his thoughts, how he thinks, was Jezebel, jezebel, jezebel. I get so sick of that spirit coming up in everyone. It's just all over the place. But Jezebel came up and it went back to a generational curse in Italy. Lou is nearly 100% Italian, so his father's Italian, his mother's Italian, he did the DNA testing. It was like, so Italian. And this generational curse went back to Italy 27 generations. Back then was human sacrifice for power, money, greed, there was orgies involved in the ceremony, very sexual. So we broke that curse. He renounced it and we expelled the demons and Lou.
JustinDuring that time when it came up, when Jezebel came up in you, you were a little bit shocked after that because you had not experienced anything like that. And this was the real deal, like this was an exorcism. And hey, jesus talked to demons all the time. All this stuff out there, don't talk to demons, no, no, no, no. Jesus talked to demons. He asked the man in the tombs. He told Legion. He said come out. Legion didn't come out. Then he said what's your name? And he said Legion. I mean this is instruction. So Jesus says come out, legion doesn't leave. And then he says what's your name? And he says Legion. So he's talking to them spirits. Anyhow, lou, going through this situation, when this is over, what were your thoughts when this was finished?
LouJustin, the first thing is you're trying to process everything that happened. I don't know if I can remember everything that happened and I know every exorcism is different, so, like every deliverance is different. Some people remember it, some people don't. I remember a lot of it. I don't know if I remember it all, but you're trying to process it. You're trying to think did that really happen? Is this real? Are they really out?
LouNow you watch videos of people and they, oh, I feel lighter. I feel lighter. I don't know if I felt lighter. I wasn't really sure how I felt. I can tell you that.
LouYou, the one thing I can say is the first 36 hours I felt very different than I felt in a long time. The first 36 hours you're different, and it was good that you were. I was at peace. I was less angry, much less angry, less rage, less. Yeah, I just will go with anger and rage for sure. But you're trying to think okay, what do I do now? You know how do I be a good boy now and you're trying to figure out, like this is a new you.
LouBut I'm going to tell you something and those of you listening, I'm going to say this If you think you're going to fix yourself in one session. You're not going to fix yourself in one session. I'm humble enough to know that there is a long way to go, and Justin said it earlier about you go from a thousand to 800 to 500 pounds, however, that you want to use it metaphorically, and that is exactly how I feel right now. There's stuff gone for me and I think the big stuff is gone. There's stuff gone for me and I think the big stuff is gone, but I know there's stuff going on with me. There's still torment going on and I'll say this I can't wait until my next delivered session, like I can't wait for it, like I want to do it now, cause there's stuff I want out of me. Now there's more. The big ones are gone, jezebel's gone, maven is gone, Rejection is gone, but there's stuff still in me and there's a next level to all this and you see this sometimes in Dr Larson's sessions. He has people that come back to him. So I can't wait for my next session, like I'm excited about it. Whatever that might be, I would do it today if I could so understand.
LouThe goal of your first session is to get the big ones out, but you're not always going to get them, because there's ones that hide really well and you don't know what happened to the interim either and there's a system that Dr Larson has of prayer so you can keep your deliverance and I recommend that with everyone, and I've had other deliverance ministers tell me that in the past. But I'm strictly following what Dr Larson is doing right now because I've never seen anybody do more than with any type of ministry than Dr Bob Larson, and all I can say is the first session is going to help get the big ones out and listen. I've seen sessions where sometimes they hide well enough that you don't even get the biggest one out. But you've got to be persistent.
Jezebel’s Jealous Grip: No Love Allowed
LouDeliverance is for the desperate. You've got to get to a humble, desperate place and you've got to be persistent. Deliverance is for the desperate. You got to get to a humble, desperate place and you got to want it out and, like Justin said, you got to hate them. It's a sin to not hate the devil. Hate the devil, hate the demons, because they're the ones holding you back. So how I feel right now is better, but I got a long way to go and I can't wait for my next session.
JustinI just want to mention that you know I talk about me going through 14 months of exorcism sessions. Lou is talking about you know him needing multiple exorcism sessions. I don't want you to think that every single person requires a long, deep, intense healing journey. That's just not the case. It really depends on your age, what's been done to you in life and the things you've been involved with in life. That's what's really going to determine how many sessions you may require. So if you go to my website, justindeedcom, click on appointment, you'll see several packages there that you can read over, and I would encourage you to compare them and, if you're serious about going through deliverance, pick a package that works for you and let's start working together.
Life After Deliverance
JustinGoing back, though, to this generational curse Jezebel was definitely in the mix here, One thing that was in this ancestral generational curse. They were leveraging the power of that curse to vex Lou, and one way that Jezebel vexed him was through isolation, and it's very interesting how she did this. She said that she would allow Lou to get close to women, but then pull him back, so it was like she would use a carrot and dangle it in front of him and he would be walking toward that carrot and as soon as he would get close enough to bond with a girl, boom, she'd pull the carrot away because Jezebel said he's mine, he'll never find love, I'm never going to let him find somebody. And this is what she would do. And she thought it was funny dangle that carrot out, torment this man. Imagine this Lou is getting close to a woman and then, for some unknown reason, bam, it doesn't work out. And after that happens so much, people tend to give up and then they go into isolation. And then Jezebel is laughing and loving it because in her mind, you're hers.
JustinI made it very clear through the authority of Christ to Jezebel that Lou was not her property and that she was going to let go of him and she was going to release his relationships, his future marriage, his anointing, his spiritual giftings, and she was going to bind isolation to her. And when she goes, it goes. This was huge. This was a big area of torment for Lou and maybe it is for you as well. Meant for Lou, and maybe it is for you as well. Do you have issues wanting to be loved and connecting with somebody? But it never just seems to work out, no matter what, that can happen for many reasons emotional, psychological, trauma that's never been resolved, or demons. I wanted to share that with you guys because I think some of you are experiencing this and one of the biggest breakthroughs for Lou was this isolation that was kicked out and, lou, you were very taken back but also excited that this isolation has been removed. Tell us a little bit of how you feel now with regards to this whole isolation thing that had been removed.
LouAll right. So here's the thing when it comes to isolation. For 20 years I accepted Christ as Lord and Savior and I was always looking for the perfect church and I would not commit to going to a church because I'd find a reason not to, and a lot of it was yeah, I just like being by myself and that's what I do and that's really how it's been. But one thing through deliverance that I discussed with Justin and Tom was you need to go to a church now. You need to just pick one and go now. I, within, I would say, 48 hours, I'm like all right where am?
LouI going to go this weekend and I just looked at highest ranked churches in my area so I decided to go there and it was a great experience and I plan to go back again. Actually, we're having a Bible study tonight.
LouI don't know if I'm going to go it's been a pretty busy day but I might and it was the right time to get involved with the church. There's a lot of things right now that have led me to prioritize this and to almost force this upon myself, but in a good way. So that was one thing about breaking the spirit of isolation. I never really looked at isolation too much as a problem. I do think I know it is the biggest thing that had bothered me with the Jezebel spirit. Women yeah, and I don't say this with any level of pride, but I've had my share of women, but it's been just odd, I didn't even say odd. And then typical American society it's probably not odd, but it's been.
Finding a Church That Stands on Truth
LouI'm 47 and single, so I've never been married. I was engaged once I knew, 48 hours after I got engaged. There's no way I'm doing this. There's a lot of thoughts there. But the other thing is I've lived my whole life with compulsive overeating. The women thing is one thing, the isolation thing is another, the compulsive overeating was another. But I'm going to tell you that Elizabeth and Mammon attack your health and your finances. Dr Larson says that and what happens is for me. Since COVID I've had a definite drop in business and it has bothered me like nothing else Heck with women, heck with anything else. That's been on my mind more than anything else, anything else that's been on my mind more than anything else and there's almost this feeling like I lack the online presence that I once had. That's been the toughest thing I've dealt with through all this, especially the last five years.
LouBut if we want to talk about purely the spirit of isolation, yeah, the first thing is go to church, be around other Christians and really just. There is no perfect church. There are no perfect people. You go to one and listen. If a church preaches about sin and about hell, you're in the right church. Justin said it earlier, because the whole purpose of going to church is to keep you out of hell and basically the only way you're going to learn about heaven is you got to learn how not to go to hell, that Lord Jesus Christ crucified, died, buried, rose again and that you're saved by grace through faith. That it's not from you, it's God's gift, that there's no work that you could do to get you to heaven and that the only sacrifice that matters is nothing that you did. It's what Lord Jesus did on the cross. You're going to heaven, but you need to hear that from other people as well. That's how I'm starting to break. The spirit of isolation is going to church, sitting there with other believers and going from there.
JustinThat's awesome, Lou. This is essential to walk in freedom after deliverance. Being plugged into a local church. It doesn't matter the denomination, as long as they teach salvation and teach about the fundamental beliefs, the Trinity, God, the Father, God, the Son, God, the Holy Spirit, that there's a real hell where people actually burn and gnash their teeth like core foundational doctrine of the Christian faith. We're all sinners, broken. We need salvation through the blood of Christ, these sorts of things. As long as they have that core doctrine, it doesn't matter the church where you go and people are messy Working in a church. People are messy, they're broken people, we're all broken, but we unify on Jesus Christ. We overlook Paul talks all the time about having grace with people and forgiving people and being patient with people, and so it's essential to be plugged into a church reading your Bible daily.
JustinThese are just the basics of Christianity and we're not doing it out of religious tasks. I must go to church and sit there for two hours. I must read my Bible for 15 minutes a day. I must, I must. No, that's not it at all. We're going to church because we love Jesus Christ and we love people and we want to connect with them. We read our Bible because we love Jesus and we want to connect with him. This isn't about religious acts. This is about falling in love with Jesus Christ, and so it's interesting to me that it's a 50-50 chance.
JustinWhen I work with clients and I ask them do you attend church regularly? Oftentimes they say no, and I know I should. I'll ask them do you read your Bible daily? And they'll say no, but I know I should. And they're sitting across from me wanting an exorcism. I'm telling them look, you got to do this or the demons will come back. You have to fill up the house, your mind, your soul, with the word of God Christian fellowship, spiritual covering.
When Jezebel Enters the Church
JustinWhen you go to church and you're under a pastor a pastor who's compassionate and loving and supportive, not a pastor with a Jezebel spirit that's controlling, bossy, manipulative. If you leave this church, bad things are going to happen. That type of Jezebel spirit, or everything in this church, is here. You don't need anywhere else that type of Jezebel control, you don't need that. But someone that sincerely has compassion and love and cares for you, that's a good pastor, right. But connecting with a church, being under a pastor, protects you spiritually because you come under leadership, you come under authority, You're humbling yourself and you're lining up with how God orchestrated the body of Christ to be. They're supposed to be leaders. Satan loves when we don't submit to leadership, because it's pride and that's why it was kicked out of heaven.
JustinAnd oftentimes people don't go to church because they don't want to submit to anybody, even pastors. And when I say submit, I don't mean to someone that's a tyrant and controlling and abusive, because there's been a lot of people who's been spiritually abused by pastors. I'm talking about going to a healthy, quote-unquote healthy church with a pastor who's semi-emotionally stable, compassionate, thoughtful and teaches the solid Bible teaches about. That's what you want as a Christian. Plugging into that. And so Lou is in this journey now of he understands that there's going to be more coming to get rid of. He's went from 800 pounds down to 500. And listen to his passion. He's excited to get rid of the next ones. He's absolutely excited as soon as he can do it. He wants to do it because he's desperate. He wants these things out, he wants to be healed, he wants to be whole. So now he's even plugged into church. He said it. He hadn't been in churches. None of them were good enough.
Lou's Final Thoughts on Exorcism
JustinThat is another attribute of Jezebel Criticism Always picking apart the pastor, Always picking apart leadership, Picking apart deacons, Picking apart everything in the church. If you find yourself doing that, you probably need deliverance. Gossiping all the time. Jezebel loves to gossip. She's the gossiper in the church. Well, listen, I want to talk to you for a minute. I'm really not judging here, but I've seen Joe the elder blah, blah, blah. Oh really, yeah, that's Jezebel. Brings division to the church, always going against the leadership of the church. Watch when people talk, See what they say about leadership. Pay attention to that. I tell you what that pastor. I don't understand why he makes that much money. Hello, Jezebel, I don't understand why blah, blah, blah. So all of this gossipy stuff is Jezebelic behavior, something to be aware of. So we have shared a lot today. I think I'm going to wrap it up. Thank you for tuning in, Lou. I'm going to come to you.
JustinI always ask my guests at the end of every episode to leave a word of encouragement.
JustinYou know, to share from your heart with people. Why should they get an exorcism? You know there's a lot of people that listen and they're just not convinced that they need one. Some people are afraid to get one because they think of Hollywood with the Exorcist movie and all of that. And then other people are just, you know, prideful. They don't want to humble themselves, they don't want to come and get help. I understand all of these people and all of these different reasons, and Jesus Christ is merciful and full of compassion and patience. Oh, thank you, Jesus, for patience, Because I was there too. I was there too. There were times in my life where I wasn't going to come to the Lord for help, but I did and he was merciful and he freed me and he can do that for you too, friend. So, Lou, coming over to you, go ahead, share some thoughts with the audience here as why they should get an exorcism and just encourage them and share some love with them.
LouOkay, when Jesus started his ministry after he told Satan basically, you must worship the Lord, your God, and only serve him, and then the devil fleed from him. Satan fleed from him. A couple lines after that, in Matthew 4, 17 and Mark 1, 15, it's a parallel verse where Jesus said repent and believe in the gospel, which is also known as the good news, depending on the translation of it. It also says repent, and you know, the kingdom of heaven is near. So the point of this is repent is the key operative word to start the process. And what repentance is? You've got to change the way you think and act about Jesus Christ, and his ministry involved getting rid of demons and unclean spirits out of human beings. So you've got to change the way you think and act about that, and it's a choice you make and it will happen through your desperation. You've got to be desperate to get delivered and when you get to that level, you need somebody to help you.
LouOne thing I learned about deliverance I learned this from Pastor John Gogan, and he's right outside of Buffalo, new York Agape Fellowship Church, which is in East Aurora, new York. He told me he goes. If you think you can cast the demons out yourself. He goes. It takes endless work or you could just have a deliverance minister help you cast it out. And really you've got to change the way you think and act about it. The DWJD ministry, which was Justin's part, which is Dr Bob Lawrence's ministry it's the most effective ministry I have seen ever, Because they get people great and people will discredit it, discount it. They can't believe it's real and there's other passes that do it too. But it's real.
LouI lived through it. I went through deliverance. I saw the fog come over. I saw words come out of my mouth that I didn't, I couldn't understand what I was saying, but they were happening.
LouAnd the good thing is you got to get to the point where you just don't care anymore. Derek Prince once said you have to be willing to look silly for a couple minutes to get that freedom for the rest of your life. And it's worth it, because when that comes out of you you feel different. I feel different than I did a week ago. I really do, but I got a long way to go and I'm going to need another session and another session. So biggest thing to take away is change the way you think and act about Lord Jesus Christ, because, guess what? He cast out demons and he wants you to cast out demons and he wants demons cast out of you. So accept that fact, because it's fact, because it's in God's word and it's in the gospel. And when you're sick of it, it's time to go find a deliverance minister like Justin or the great top painter, and get it out of you. That's what I want to leave with you today.
