EP 180: KNOCKOUT

Mama said knock you out…and that’s exactly what happened. The undefeated Gervonta Tank Davis did it again. As boxing fans gathered around the world in  front of televisions, in sports bars and the lucky ticket holders in the MGM Grand Arena in Ls Vegas, Tank and Frank Martin gave a show worthy of the cost. While some may have been rooting for the underdog, the champion was the victor yet again. What a great Father’s Day gift to himself!

With Father’s Day a week behind us,  we can’t help but notice the change in energy felt thru social media. And for a change, it was in a more positive direction with more attention given to fathers around the globe. Not sure if fathers will ever receive the same recognition and love on Father’s Day as their coparents do for Mother’s Day, but it’s nice to see the progression. 

One father who didn’t enjoy a happy Father’s Day is probably Bishop Whitehead.  If you’ve lived under a rock for the last year, he’s also referred to as the “Bling Bishop” for his flashy label saturated clothing worn on the pulpit. It seems as some of the funds used to purchase this dip may have been illegally obtained as he has been found guilty of fraud and extortion and sentenced to 9 years in prison. Not sure he ever imagined his shenanigans would catch up with him but he has some time to sit and think about it as he is officially knocked out of the pulpit.
