Louis has played trumpet for a living his entire life. He has built a reputation as one of the world's top lead trumpet players having worked with Gordon Goodwin's LA based Big Phat Band, with Hollywood studio legend lead trumpet player Wayne Bergeron, and with the London Symphony Orchestra along with many major artists and bands.
With over 100,000 subscribers and 22 million views to his YouTube Channel it is fair to say that Louis is also somewhat of an internet sensation in the trumpet world.
The conversation covers a wide range of topics including what it's like playing one of the most difficult of all instrument, making a living in the music business, the importance of music education, establishing the Trumpet Academy, and how to live a successful creative life doing what you love to do.
