If you've been feeling stuck in that place of confusion when it comes to your career and you want to figure out your next move so that you can actually throw yourself into your next thing, but you're stuck and you just don't really know how to get out of this loop of circling and confusion, then this episode is going to feel like such an exhale. Speaker:Hello, my love and welcome to the Purpose Prequel. If you are here, it means that you are done feeling lost, feeling stuck, feeling disconnected from what's real and true for you. You are ready to stop swirling around in confusion, feeling the fog, and you wanna start finding real traction. Towards a life that actually feels like you towards a life that feels like freedom. Over these three days, I'm gonna teach you how to reorient yourself back to your soul's true map and give you the tools to start walking the path that is meant for you. And that's my intention, that the purpose prequel. Will be this experience of internal reorientation. So what do I mean by that? To me in internal reorientation is shifting out of using old external maps. Maps from your family, from society maps, of just how to be and what to do that were handed down to you, that you were taught to follow, that you were conditioned to follow. But they were never really yours. They never really felt quite right. It means realigning with your guidance system, your own true signals, your intuition, your mind, your body. Learning how to connect to those parts of you that already know the way forward. Learning how to recognize the clues and signals. That your body's trying to send you. And not just recognize them, but understand what they mean and use them for navigation so that you never have to feel lost because you can turn inwards to your own compass and you can find your way. Internal reor, ah, I can't say the word internal reorientation is also, it's turning inward for direction and trusting. That you do have the direction inside of you, and you don't need to look outside of yourself for someone else to validate your path, for someone to give you permission to walk your path, for someone to understand your path, you know, and trust your own internal signals and you can follow them. It's also feeling this click of clarity, this sense of ah, and it happens because. Not because I handed you the map, not because I handed you directions, not because I gave you a blueprint for what to do and where to go, but because you remembered your own. You learned how to understand and create your own internal reorientation is the process of coming back home to yourself. And finally seeing the true path that was waiting for you all along. And it's sacred and it's so special, and it's something that can happen again and again. It's not a one-time thing like I've reoriented internally and we're done. Right. It's, it's a practice, it's a devotion. It's, it's knowing that the answers are within you, trusting yourself to find them. Having the skills and the tools to understand your own self and how to understand what your body's trying to tell you, and moving from that place. It's like a muscle that you strengthen, but you first have to even know how to use it. And so that's what we're doing here. And if this is your first experience with me, if you're new to my world, welcome. I'm so happy that you're here and I wanna take a moment to introduce myself. So I am Chelsea or Coach Chelsea, you can call me. And six years ago I was in my second year of O-B-G-Y-N residency, going through a period of burnout. But it wasn't just burnout. It, it was, I felt lost. I felt lost. I felt alone more than I've ever been, just like a drift at sea where no real place to turn to. I kept having a gut feeling that. You know, this is not it. This is not your work. It would come to me throughout the day as I was working in the hospital. It would come to me when I was outside. Like I just had this feeling of like, this is not it, but I truly didn't know what to do with that information. I was like, yes, I get that. This is not it. So, so what do I do with that? Right? I knew that the life, and it was a hard pill to swallow, but there was a point where I, I knew like this life that I have spent my twenties building that I have been chasing, that I have dedicated hours and time like this life that I've poured myself into building the life that I thought I wanted, where I. I identified something I wanted and I put everything into achieving it, and I did, and I got to that point and it wasn't it, and I knew that, but I didn't know where to turn. And so I know exactly what that disorientation feels like, and I also know what it's like to find my way home again. By learning to trust my intuition, by learning to trust that voice inside of me that always knew the way I have learned how to trust my intuition. Even when it doesn't make sense. That doesn't mean I always do it. I am not perfect with following intuition, but I know how to trust it when it doesn't make sense. And I do it not always, but I do. And I've learned how to honor my own unique blueprint, honor the life that was meant for me and not the life the world expected of me. And that has meant reckoning with so many things, including what is my definition of home? Where do I like, do I need to be in one place or not? Like, can I accept my own, my own needs? When it comes to having a home, instead of trying to fit into the blueprint of someone else, it's accepting it with partner, with having a partner or not. Because I don't actually want one. And it took me a long time to really understand that that's not what I want at this moment. And maybe ever with kids. Like I don't, I don't want to have kids. And that has been a reckoning as well with alcohol, realizing I'm in a world where everyone's obsessed with drinking and I really, it's not for me. And I, I used to be into drinking and now it's not. And so there's so many ways that I feel like I've had to accept. That my blueprint is so different from society's blueprint, and so I've had to learn how to honor that, how to honor the life that is actually true for me, not the life that everyone expects of me, or that maybe people don't even expect it, but there's a, you know, there's a voice in your head that thinks there's these expectations on you, and so I've learned how to, how to do that. How to walk that scary, sometimes lonely, really beautiful, non-linear road back to myself so that I am designing a life that is so true to me. To who I am, to who I'm here to be, what I was meant to do. And I can help you do the same, but here's the thing. I do not have your answers, and that is not my role. I am not here to know your answers, to give you your answers. I am here to be your anchor of certainty, to hold a space for you to sometimes flounder. To sometimes feel like you're flailing around and being chaotic, and I'm here to hold this space of certainty that I trust. You have the answers within you. I trust your answers are leaving you in the direction that you are meant to be on, and I will always and continually. Guide you back to yourself to find your answers. That is my role here. There are times when, based on what you say, I can point out a moment of truth or a pattern or a theme that can help point you to your answers. But all I'm doing is reflecting what is within you. So I don't have your answers and I don't need them. I love when your answers come out. And surprise me. It's such a beautiful thing when I, I had no clue what to expect or where your purpose was gonna take you. And I'm just holding this space and I'm helping you tune into yourself and then wow, what, how beautiful, right? So that's what I'm here to do. I'm here to hold this space for you. I'm here to remind you of your truth. I'm here to see you. As someone who was so powerful and so capable, I'm here to trust you and trust your knowing, and trust your vision, and trust your highest self and your intuition to all come through and to lead you. I'm here to trust that for you even when you waver or wobble or don't trust that for yourself. That is my role, and I take that. So I was gonna say, seriously, but I don't take life seriously, but I take this commitment and this sacred role that I'm here to play. I, I do take that with the utmost of seriousness because I'm committed to helping you find your way to leading you back to you, to helping you remember, not remember from a memory in your mind, but just remember from. Your your own Soul's blueprint. I'm here to help you find the way back to yourself, and that's what we're doing today.

You have to go through that process of internal reorientation, where you're coming home to yourself, letting go of the maps and the things that are not yours, and finally seeing the true path that's been there waiting for you all along.
