Speaker:Okay, welcome back to another episode of the Alignment Method Aligned Girl Summer Edition, where I am walking you through the six steps for building alignment. So having a life that is joyful and you have the freedom to enjoy your life, and you also have work that is meaningful and it's by taking these steps, by doing this process, you are bringing yourself into alignment where your life just feels good on the inside and you don't care what it looks like on the outside, because it feels so good. And so we are already on step five out of six, so we're getting close. Um, so step five is building personal power, building personal power. So what is this step? This step is probably my favorite in this moment because it's where I'm personally working a lot right now and it's where I'm dedicating. I'm learning so much about this. I'm dedicating a lot of resources here, and so I'm really excited to teach about this step because it is so like close to my heart and relevant to my journey right now. And so what is it like? What's personal power? It's that like fiery, unapologetic confidence. It's self-leadership. It's like I'm in charge of my life. I lead myself. I trust myself, I take action. I am bold, I'm strong, I'm resourceful. Right? It's that energy of like I know who I am and I lead myself. Personal power. We have to build this because. The medical system beats the personal power out of us. We feel so disempowered. We give our power away to circumstances, to other people, to like, oh, but this just can't work for me. We just live in this like sad girl energy victim lifestyle and we don't have personal power or we're overthinking things and we're just in our heads a lot of the time and we're not really in our own sense of. Self-leadership, personal power. So why does this matter? Connecting to your purpose without having personal power. Your purpose is just this like idea on a piece of paper or an idea that is a cute little hobby that you work on with a few people, but it never really takes shape. Purpose without power is just another unfulfilled dream. You can have your connection to your purpose. You can like know your why. You can feel excited and lit up by your mission, but that doesn't mean bringing it out into the world is gonna be easy. It's not gonna be easy. So to bring it into the world, you have to cultivate this like unwavering sense of self, this confidence. I was just on a call with some of my business clients talking about unreasonable confidence. You need to believe in your power, your mission, in such a deep way that other people are like, who even are you? Like? You want other people to look at you and be like, who does she think she is? Because you're that in your power. Otherwise you're gonna be taking these cute little actions and like waiting for other people to tell you you're good enough waiting to get validation around it. And not from like a, like a deep hole of self-worth and unworthiness, but just from a, like, I need someone else to tell me if this is gonna work. I'm not just gonna decide that it's gonna work. Right. So when do you need it? This is something to really focus on when you're thinking more than you're taking action, right? You purpose has lots of nice ideas on paper, but they're not really coming to life. You are maybe writing and rewriting pieces of content, or you're just like drafting ideas, but you're not really doing the ideas, right? You're living more in your head than like in the real world. Maybe like imposter syndrome's coming up or fear is coming up. So you'll like tentatively put something out there like, Hey guys, does anyone want help with this thing? Oh, nobody responded. Okay, nevermind. It's not gonna work. Nope, not gonna happen. Right? So there's just like this sense of like tentativeness around your purpose. You're not really owning it with confidence. Maybe you are starting a business and you do one launch. And it doesn't go well. And so you're like, shut it down. Shut the whole thing down. We're not doing it anymore. Right. And so it almost feels like your purpose is like stalled out in a way because it's not, you're not making progress from it. You had these great ideas, you felt so connected to your purpose, but it's like not really going anywhere and, and you're definitely not making money from your purpose yet because it's still in a small space where you're playing it safe and it's just, yeah, you're not moving, you're not bringing it into form and shape, and it's not progressing into anything. And so this is something, like I said, has been a big focus of my year. Um, so I was starting to feel this way. It's not that my purpose hadn't taken shape, it's that I knew I was ready for my next level. And all of last year in 2024, I was in this space of like second guessing myself and like being like, I wanna scale. I wanna make things bigger. I want like my impact to grow. Like I want things to grow. And I was looking at everyone else, like looking at all the experts and the strategies to like see how to do it. And I wasn't really coming to myself. So my first several years of business, honestly my intuition was like my business coach. I mean, I had other coaches, but I was always following intuition first. And then, you know, my strategy would come from my intuition. And then something happened in 2024 where I felt like. Okay. That was cute to get me to like six figures, but now I need something more like solid or tangible or repeatable. I can't just keep following my intuition, like that's not gonna cut it in the big league, and so I was just really like looking around for other people to tell me what to do for other people to just give me the method or the strategy. And I was really focused on like doing it right. I was thinking about. Things are not working. Like, oh, this isn't working for me. That's not working. The possibility of something not working was in my field. Those are all signs. You're not in your power. Right? So I'm like overthinking things. I am trying to find the answers from someone else. I'm feeling like insecure in my decisions and like what I'm doing, and so it's all just like. I was like hesitant, tentative, like all of these things. Me felt like it was all stalled out, felt like things were not progressing. And so this year I was like, no, no, no. We are doing something different. We are building personal power. I didn't call it that at the beginning of the year, but I was like. I, I want to go big this year, and so I made a project called My Million Dollar Year, and what I did in this project, and I'm still doing, is I started taking Leap Actions every single week. So instead of overthinking, instead of being in my head, instead of wondering what I should be doing, I just started taking an action that got me out of my comfort zone. Something that scared me. Every single week. I started this in January and I actually did a, um, a telegram offer around it. So my million dollar year is actually this like telegram offer experience you can buy where I'm sharing in real time every week as I'm doing this. But the interesting thing was at the beginning of the year in January, I wrote this list of like what all my potential leap actions could be. I wasn't planning them out, but I wanted a bank of what are the things that are really scaring me that I will just like put on this list? And so I wrote this long list. It like filled a page of like all my possible leap actions of like, okay, reach out to this person about a collaboration. Ask people to like do intuition workshops for their community, for free. Write for Kevin, md. Post in this Facebook group, um, ask this person about a collab here, wrote this big list of things that scared me. And at when I looked at that list, I was like, oh God, I don't wanna do that all this year. So I'll just, I'll do one at a time, you know, we'll get there. Literally, I did leap action every single week and maybe, even just four to five weeks in, probably four weeks in. I look at that list. And I was like, none of this scares me anymore. These are all just to-dos. What else? What else can we do? So I had like by taking action, by challenging myself to do things that felt scary and just doing them, it's like I ran towards my fear. And then I looked at that list literally about a month later and I was like, I don't understand why I thought any of this was scary. Like these are actions to do. But there was no fear around it. It just felt like a task and it's like I have been upleveling it to at that speed ever since. Right. So that was like month one. It's like the way that things have been, I've been growing and building power ever since then. It's just been incredible. And so, I mean, action is a huge way to build personal power. That is like a very important way. That's something we're, we're doing in my, like in the aligned career collective, we're doing leap actions and that's something I'm always encouraging people to do within my world. It's like we're taking action. That is a method for building personal power and an outcome of having personal power, right? So you're less spiraling in your head, you're taking more action. You're starting to say yes to bolder moves because the ideas that came through me for LEAP actions after that first month were like way bigger, way more like right now I'm gonna be hosting a virtual summit soon. I never would've done that at the beginning of the year. I think it was very low key on my radar, but the people I've reached out to to become speakers, the people I've connected with. And like networked with around this, it has been incredible. Like people I've been trying to get on the phone and do podcast interviews with them for years and then they said yes to do this summit. And it's like, wow. It's all just like comes together in this beautiful way. And so as you're saying yes to your purpose in these bigger ways, like you get these bigger ideas, but you also get. More like your purpose trusts you more, right? So I'm learning more about purpose as I'm exploring my purpose more. So I have actually have this whole new curriculum that came through me for purpose, for Pathway to Purpose. And it's a lot of, it's based on what I've been doing so far, and it's like I understand things from a new lens because I'm living it more fully. And so the way I'm coaching my clients is more elevated, like building personal power. It just, like, I was gonna say, it put, puts hot sauce on everything, but that's not really what it does. It's like this amplifier, it expands everything that you're touching. I'm more like in my power and then my purpose is expanding'cause I'm living in it more and more deeply. My impact's expanding. I'm expanding. I, I don't know if I have the best words to articulate it yet'cause it's something I've been experiencing and I'm still in the experience of it. But the more you build personal power, the more you grow your purpose, you live in your purpose and everything just amplifies. And so ways to start doing this one is, would be joining the Aligned career collective now to join you. Yeah, join the Aligned Career Collective. We're always working on building personal power within that space. We are taking LEAP actions, we are doing identity work, we are building confidence and self-leadership, like we're working on all of these qualities within Aligned Career collective. It's something we work on in my private coaching container, so if you wanna just work with me one-on-one, we do that. And if you want to just. See what it's like behind the scenes as I'm building power and taking leap actions every single week. You can just also join my million dollar year telegram. That is something, it's happening in real time. Um, every week I'm uploading a telegram just showing like what I did over that past week. Like what was the move I made, what did I learn? How did I build my power? And then other people in that group, they're also taking leaps as well. And so it's also a space to. Start, you know, taking your weekly leap actions and start to build your own personal power as well.
So, like I said in the beginning, purpose without power just becomes another like unfulfilled dream. And to bring your purpose into reality, you don't need more credentials, you don't need this one particular strategy, or to be more qualified in any way. You honestly just need to be more convicted in yourself. You need to become the person who decides like, I am the one, I'm the one who's gonna do this. I'm the one who's gonna run towards my fears. Because until you do this, your purpose is just an idea on a piece of paper and it can't help anyone. When you're not putting it out into the world.
