The Commonwealth Games have a long and storied history but where do they fit in the modern sporting landscape? We discuss our favourite CWG memories from over the years before taking a deep dive onto what we're most looking forward to over the next week.
Some of the world biggest stars are in action and some of the fields are stacked but others.....not so much. Look forward to champs like Ethan Katzberg, Thea Lafond, Damien Warner, Nina Kennedy, Neeraj Chopra and Tobi Amusam but also expect some new stars and surprise medallists to emerge - the more random the better.
There have been some late withdrawals from the Brits but Josh, Amy, Zharnel, Max, Laura, Jeremiah, Georgia, Jake, Eilish and of course Jaz will give the crowds plenty to cheer about.
