Who wouldn’t want a net income of potentially more than a thousand pounds per month from a property costing less than £100,000?
While some people are achieving this, it’s not as easy as you might think.
As I move into the second half of my expat auction challenge to buy a UK property at auction from my home in Hong Kong, I look for a property to achieve this objective.
I seek advice from Richard Brown of The Property Voice, Dave Goodfellow, a serviced accommodation specialist, Vicki Peers of Inside Liverpool and Jay Howard & Piotr Rusinek from the Auction Buyers Club.
I also learn the importance of checking the Title Register in the legal pack before spending too long on due diligence for a property with the potential to be turned into Serviced Accommodation or an HMO.
