With a diverse experience of over 25 years in organizations worldwide, Shantanu has special expertise in eLearning, learning management systems, and technology. According to him, the push towards digitization had started even before the onset of Covid, and the pandemic merely accelerated it. Talking about the 70-20-10 mode of learning, he says that during the pandemic the scope for the 70% learning that happens on the job diminished so rapidly that it led people to realize its importance. Walking up to someone to talk got replaced by having to set up a Zoom call or a meeting on the calendar in Teams, just to talk to someone to get that instant knowledge. Those are the challenges and major shift which was seen in most organizations because of the pandemic.
