WEBVTT

00:00:03.000 --> 00:00:12.000
Natalie, hello, good evening and thank you so much for joining me on the online entrepreneur Academy podcast and joining this conversation, taking time out from your Christmas festivities.

00:00:12.000 --> 00:00:14.000
So how are you?

00:00:14.000 --> 00:00:26.000
I'm excellent, thank you very much for having me, Susan. I am really looking forward to our conversation this evening and They are much Christmas festivities for me, so I'm more than happy to speak to anybody over this period of time.

00:00:26.000 --> 00:00:33.000
Thank you very much. Seems like my cat wants to speak to everybody as well, those who watching the video, you'll see a fireball walking across.

00:00:33.000 --> 00:00:54.000
But to the point Natalie, thanks again thanks a lot for joining us and when I think of you I think of masterminds and I know you've just finished one but I'll circle back to that later by May but first of all could you share a little bit with my audience about your background and where you came from where you're at now because I know they'll be curious because you are very successful and a very dynamic

00:00:54.000 --> 00:00:55.000
person.

00:00:55.000 --> 00:01:05.000
Thank you. Yes, my history is. Very varied. So now, I do property development with my mum, Paula.

00:01:05.000 --> 00:01:06.000
Lovely.

00:01:06.000 --> 00:01:07.000
She's my business partner. I'm our latest project was a 20,000 square foot commercial conversion.

00:01:07.000 --> 00:01:36.000
We created 30 new homes. So people in Mildenhall and then we are looking for more projects like that but also new build so where negotiating, looking, offering all of the time and it's it's a very interesting thing to be doing you know that the UK is not building enough houses there are too many people and not enough houses and That's one of the things that Wait really passionate about them.

00:01:36.000 --> 00:01:43.000
My mom especially like she's very very good on that side of it with the project management side of things as well.

00:01:43.000 --> 00:01:49.000
And I also host a podcast which is called Confidence Mastery. We've been going 4 years next year.

00:01:49.000 --> 00:01:50.000
Wow, fantastic.

00:01:50.000 --> 00:01:58.000
Which is, yeah, thank you. I'm a huge milestone which you're very excited about when we're putting an online summit together for that.

00:01:58.000 --> 00:02:06.000
I did public speaking, host a mastermind, then an annual retreat as well. I which I really really love.

00:02:06.000 --> 00:02:12.000
And we used to have a holiday like business but the more we were into it whilst it was successful.

00:02:12.000 --> 00:02:25.000
What we were doing and what I was doing on a day to day basis wasn't my own genius, it wasn't what I what I enjoy doing.

00:02:25.000 --> 00:02:26.000
Yeah, I can,

00:02:26.000 --> 00:02:39.000
I'm good at talking, not attack. Yes. Yeah, so we close that down. So I really love what I do now in terms of delivering hosting, bringing people together.

00:02:39.000 --> 00:02:40.000
Hmm.

00:02:40.000 --> 00:02:44.000
Communities very, very, very important to me. And, but I wasn't always in this world before.

00:02:44.000 --> 00:02:51.000
A long time before in 2,011 I was I'm born in Brighton, London.

00:02:51.000 --> 00:03:02.000
I was in my job. I had a very good job in the in the city and then we moved to more London to just opposite Tower Bridge which is not very far from where I grew up and where I live.

00:03:02.000 --> 00:03:03.000
Yeah, beautiful area.

00:03:03.000 --> 00:03:15.000
And I was just measurable. Absolutely miserable and I thought you know what sod this quit my job got on a plane to New Yorker and went and did Magaloo for 4 years.

00:03:15.000 --> 00:03:21.000
And if anybody listening knows anything about my life, it's a massive party thing. That's where the Brits go to.

00:03:21.000 --> 00:03:33.000
No, if you like. We need it somewhere I don't go to anymore and It was a very interesting period of my life and it taught me a lot.

00:03:33.000 --> 00:03:34.000
But there was some things that happened that made me think, mmm, I need to change what I'm doing here.

00:03:34.000 --> 00:03:39.000
Oh. I think I missed that Gotcha.

00:03:39.000 --> 00:03:45.000
So I, me, me, I thought, well, what's the complete opposite of what I'm doing?

00:03:45.000 --> 00:03:51.000
This 24 h party lifestyle always raving so I've always had good arms, you know, hands in the air.

00:03:51.000 --> 00:03:52.000
That's it.

00:03:52.000 --> 00:04:04.000
And, whether we trained as a personal trainer. And it took some time getting through that after running the bars, people going, what your your personal training now?

00:04:04.000 --> 00:04:05.000
It take opposite as you say.

00:04:05.000 --> 00:04:12.000
Would you watch? It's a completely different thing and then I ended up running a gym in a box of gym.

00:04:12.000 --> 00:04:19.000
And doing that until my nan passed away, which is what was like the trigger for my mom and I working together from 2,017.

00:04:19.000 --> 00:04:29.000
And the January, Now we do all of these things which is a much better lifestyle than 12 years ago.

00:04:29.000 --> 00:04:34.000
Yes, but it's a progression, isn't it? And then twists and turns.

00:04:34.000 --> 00:04:42.000
I mean, that's amazing because I was going to ask you later on because you're You know, we all, well, not all of us lost sport, but you and I love sport and you've made that a feature of your lifestyle, haven't you?

00:04:42.000 --> 00:04:44.000
Yeah, yeah.

00:04:44.000 --> 00:04:47.000
I see you in the gym very often on your social media posts.

00:04:47.000 --> 00:04:54.000
Yes, the gym is like, my, it's my second charge. The football, the, the Dens, my first.

00:04:54.000 --> 00:05:01.000
Oh no.

00:05:01.000 --> 00:05:02.000
Yeah.

00:05:02.000 --> 00:05:10.000
And the gym, won't like you get one body to live in. So you need to learn to look after it and whilst I thought like I looked good in those Magaloo party days.

00:05:10.000 --> 00:05:11.000
Hmm.

00:05:11.000 --> 00:05:18.000
I wasn't healthy physically or mentally. And when I retrained as a personal trainer and I really started to understand the physicality of the body and how the brain's connected.

00:05:18.000 --> 00:05:19.000
Yes.

00:05:19.000 --> 00:05:29.000
And now more so the spiritual side as well and how it all goes together. I understand the importance of of exercise for physical and mental health.

00:05:29.000 --> 00:05:32.000
No.

00:05:32.000 --> 00:05:33.000
Absolutely.

00:05:33.000 --> 00:05:43.000
And longevity of life. Especially as women, we've got more chance of osteoporosis as we age.

00:05:43.000 --> 00:05:44.000
Yeah.

00:05:44.000 --> 00:05:58.000
So if you fall over and you break a bone and you've not been resistance training, you're going to be in recovery for a lot longer than if you had taken the initiative to a lot longer than if you had taken the initiative to go and Do some exercise move your body, you know, we're meant to move.

00:05:58.000 --> 00:05:59.000
Okay.

00:05:59.000 --> 00:06:01.000
And I lost the gym, I love lifting weights. I really dislike cardio. But I understand the benefits of it.

00:06:01.000 --> 00:06:09.000
She says with difficulty. Yeah, I'm with you like because I know my I've got a good few years on you and I know that I should be doing.

00:06:09.000 --> 00:06:23.000
Cardio weights and stretch now can't be awaits no issue at all but stretch i just find so slow and I keep telling myself I've got to do it I've got to do it so I understand.

00:06:23.000 --> 00:06:36.000
Interestingly enough, why I was having this conversation this morning on our online entering session. And I interviewed someone on my podcast called Aaron who's he does retreats in yoga and he wrote a book called Stop Stretching.

00:06:36.000 --> 00:06:38.000
This, this sounds interesting. Tell me more. Tell us more.

00:06:38.000 --> 00:06:49.000
That might be worth you checking out. So. He talks about the way that you When you stretch your muscle, you're moving it beyond its capabilities.

00:06:49.000 --> 00:06:50.000
Right.

00:06:50.000 --> 00:06:57.000
And what it could, what it should be doing, you're stretching it and that's not what it's supposed to do.

00:06:57.000 --> 00:07:03.000
And I was like, hang on a minute. I always stretch. I get the benefits and stretching.

00:07:03.000 --> 00:07:11.000
You're talking nonsense. Come on my podcast so we can have the discussion. And the more we spoke about it, the more it makes sense.

00:07:11.000 --> 00:07:20.000
Like, Static stretching isn't necessarily that good for you, but dynamic stretching where you are in movements.

00:07:20.000 --> 00:07:22.000
Hmm.

00:07:22.000 --> 00:07:28.000
And, and he says that yoga is nothing to do with stretching. Yoga is about strength and, in in herself.

00:07:28.000 --> 00:07:29.000
Yeah.

00:07:29.000 --> 00:07:31.000
So he takes a different stance on it, so I definitely recommend his stop stretching book if you're thinking that you need to stretch.

00:07:31.000 --> 00:07:48.000
And it's something that I do but more dynamically and and utilize that to warm the muscles up to cool down to be flexible and be like have the ability.

00:07:48.000 --> 00:07:52.000
It's move moving while stretching is is the way to go, not static.

00:07:52.000 --> 00:08:00.000
Yeah. That's sounds very reassuring and of course for those you listening watching make sure you check the show notes because we'll put all these details down below because that sounds a really good recommendation.

00:08:00.000 --> 00:08:18.000
Yeah, because I've gone my road by can I go quite long distance isn't quite far in and I stopped I got to stretch but to your point it's all about keeping the body healthy and active and I think doing what we love don't think not sort of forcing us to forcing ourselves to do an exercise that we don't enjoy.

00:08:18.000 --> 00:08:20.000
There's so much choice out there, isn't there?

00:08:20.000 --> 00:08:26.000
There is, and I always say to people, you don't have to do what I do, you don't have to go and lift heavy weights like me, find something you enjoy.

00:08:26.000 --> 00:08:38.000
But equally every December and this is December that we're talking I do this challenge where you run a minimum of 3 miles or 5 kilometers or 25 min every single day.

00:08:38.000 --> 00:08:43.000
Well.

00:08:43.000 --> 00:08:44.000
Yeah.

00:08:44.000 --> 00:08:49.000
And I did running like you would not believe. And I do it anyway. I do it for the banner.

00:08:49.000 --> 00:08:59.000
I do it for learning something and pushing outside of my comfort zone because the gym for me is now easiest and non-negotiable.

00:08:59.000 --> 00:09:00.000
Exactly.

00:09:00.000 --> 00:09:04.000
That's that's my my happy place. But running.

00:09:04.000 --> 00:09:05.000
Yeah.

00:09:05.000 --> 00:09:12.000
Oh my gosh. So if you go on YouTube and you type Natalie hates running, you'll find a playlist of my real estate and my shorts of every single day in December.

00:09:12.000 --> 00:09:13.000
Yeah.

00:09:13.000 --> 00:09:19.000
And I do it, I do it because it's hard. It's hard for me to do because I don't enjoy it.

00:09:19.000 --> 00:09:33.000
I don't want to doing it. Like when I got back to London on Monday. It was the weather was I mean it was it's obviously it's cold in the Yorker but then my next run was Tuesday morning and it was absolutely pouring down.

00:09:33.000 --> 00:09:41.000
Wasn't it just everywhere? And that really.

00:09:41.000 --> 00:09:42.000
You think?

00:09:42.000 --> 00:09:45.000
And I'll put you like, you know, you put a cap on. To keep the rain off your face and then the cap hit so where it starts dripping off the cap.

00:09:45.000 --> 00:09:46.000
Yeah.

00:09:46.000 --> 00:09:56.000
And I'm telling myself, why am I doing this? And I do all of the tricks of the trade that I know, you know, smiling, it tricks the brain into thinking you're happy, tell yourself you love it and I've tried it.

00:09:56.000 --> 00:10:02.000
And it's just not something I enjoy. But I know success comes from doing the hard things. And you can apply this.

00:10:02.000 --> 00:10:08.000
Yeah, there's a good message.

00:10:08.000 --> 00:10:09.000
Hmm.

00:10:09.000 --> 00:10:15.000
Yeah, you can apply this to business as well because business is hard. And once you understand and recognise that business is hard.

00:10:15.000 --> 00:10:16.000
Yeah.

00:10:16.000 --> 00:10:21.000
It gets a little bit easier. So by me having the discipline to go out and run 5 kilometers every day in December.

00:10:21.000 --> 00:10:25.000
31 days I can't do that much off top of my head. You should know this. But it's difficult.

00:10:25.000 --> 00:10:28.000
Yeah. Yeah.

00:10:28.000 --> 00:10:41.000
But, I've increased my network. I've got more engagement, more activity, more conversations.

00:10:41.000 --> 00:10:42.000
What's not to like about the rain?

00:10:42.000 --> 00:10:48.000
And I love a challenge. Sorry. Yeah, so sometimes Try the things that you don't enjoy.

00:10:48.000 --> 00:10:49.000
Hmm.

00:10:49.000 --> 00:10:53.000
Because you might it might turn out that you do end up liking them.

00:10:53.000 --> 00:10:54.000
100%.

00:10:54.000 --> 00:11:11.000
Cause I used to worry about going and lifting away because I look at I look at a weight and I put muscle on that's just my body my body was built for Speed not speed and power not in giants That's why running for me is so bad and monotonous, but

00:11:11.000 --> 00:11:17.000
You just try new things. I brought pair of frat umbrella blades and I'm so terrible at it, it's in areas.

00:11:17.000 --> 00:11:18.000
Yeah.

00:11:18.000 --> 00:11:22.000
But unless you try these things and you keep going and you are consistent with it, you're never going to see any results and that's exactly what you should be doing.

00:11:22.000 --> 00:11:37.000
When it comes to growing your business is looking at what's working well, what's not working well, what's really difficult, why am I putting it off because it's difficult.

00:11:37.000 --> 00:11:38.000
Hmm.

00:11:38.000 --> 00:11:47.000
What if it's difficult, everybody? If it was easy, everybody would be doing it. So if it's difficult, that's an opportunity.

00:11:47.000 --> 00:11:52.000
So you to go. I can do something great here.

00:11:52.000 --> 00:12:04.000
Yeah, absolutely. That makes huge sense. And, you know, really, listening to what Natalie saying, just if you have one takeaway and there's a lot more things we've got to say again we're going to hear about but yeah just keep Keep trying, keep going.

00:12:04.000 --> 00:12:16.000
And also I suppose as you're hinting at there, it's an artisan of knowing that's not working, I need to go to something else but you're still challenging yourself aren't you?

00:12:16.000 --> 00:12:17.000
Yeah.

00:12:17.000 --> 00:12:24.000
Hmm. And be in competition with yourself. But not for what your competitors are doing and have a noise but don't compare yourself to They've got a different lifestyle, a different life.

00:12:24.000 --> 00:12:30.000
They've started at a different point. They have different experience. They had a different job before. Different family.

00:12:30.000 --> 00:12:40.000
They all of these factor in to what helps people to be where they're at. So comparison really is the thief joy.

00:12:40.000 --> 00:12:46.000
But you can learn things from other people and their content and what they're putting out, what's working.

00:12:46.000 --> 00:12:47.000
Yeah.

00:12:47.000 --> 00:12:57.000
But what's working for you is the most important thing and keeping a track of that, okay, that didn't work, why didn't it work?

00:12:57.000 --> 00:12:58.000
Yeah.

00:12:58.000 --> 00:13:00.000
Let's try this way like A B split testing is so important. Because otherwise you don't know what works.

00:13:00.000 --> 00:13:24.000
Well, that's right. And I always give the example. because I was teaching business at college in in a previous iteration and so if you've got if you're selling a mobile phone to pensioners, it's not going to be the same mobile phone and we always looked at a mobile phone for pensions will be very different.

00:13:24.000 --> 00:13:25.000
Hmm.

00:13:25.000 --> 00:13:32.000
So if you put that mobile phone in front of the teenage market, they're just going to laugh because they don't want to be clunky thing but your older person does and so on so it's not that it's to your point it's not that it's the wrong thing, it's not that it's the wrong thing or it just makes sometimes needs one tweak, maybe it's

00:13:32.000 --> 00:13:45.000
the marketplace, maybe it's the timing. There's so many things to look at and but it is hard, isn't it, to keep going when something appears not to be working and and you don't understand why but testing's bit testing is so important, so important.

00:13:45.000 --> 00:13:57.000
When you see everything as a test and you you build that resilience and you learn from the mistakes that you make and you then come from a place of experience.

00:13:57.000 --> 00:13:58.000
Hmm, true.

00:13:58.000 --> 00:14:02.000
Rather than thinking, oh, I've got to start all over again. I've put all of this effort in and it's not worked.

00:14:02.000 --> 00:14:09.000
So I mean useless if you don't look at the lessons learn and apply them going forward.

00:14:09.000 --> 00:14:23.000
Yeah, good point. Really good point. Thank you. Now I would love to pick you, well we would love to pick your brains about masterminds if I may not ask you to give away your trade secrets but I was thinking about masterminds beforehand.

00:14:23.000 --> 00:14:27.000
I thought there's probably 2, well, 2 very clear to the sector. It's the client and the organizer.

00:14:27.000 --> 00:14:33.000
So if I may have got a few questions that I've made a note of so I don't miss them out.

00:14:33.000 --> 00:14:38.000
So. I was thinking for mastermind, that's a very big term, but What will we say mastermind?

00:14:38.000 --> 00:14:46.000
What do we mean?

00:14:46.000 --> 00:14:47.000
Okay.

00:14:47.000 --> 00:14:52.000
So I call it a meeting of mines. It's people, yeah, it's people coming together to discuss the same topic but from a different perspective.

00:14:52.000 --> 00:14:54.000
Hmm. That.

00:14:54.000 --> 00:15:12.000
And it's led by a personal. Passons but everybody that comes the people that are the leaders versus the mentees The leaders of the mastermind learn as much in the mentees as much as the mentees get from the leaders and from the other people in the group.

00:15:12.000 --> 00:15:21.000
And that's the beauty of it because you get different people's perspective. On 1 One issue.

00:15:21.000 --> 00:15:22.000
Yeah.

00:15:22.000 --> 00:15:25.000
And that's why I think of it as a meeting of minds.

00:15:25.000 --> 00:15:32.000
Yeah, no, that makes huge sense. And it, yeah, you said, I can't even, I can't even re summarize that, that's perfect.

00:15:32.000 --> 00:15:41.000
So the burning question is I think, you know, business owners, people who are perhaps working on their own because a lot of entrepreneurs are doing everything, aren't they?

00:15:41.000 --> 00:15:47.000
Then it can be very lonely, which is Which is another thing which I think must attract people to get together.

00:15:47.000 --> 00:15:52.000
Could you haven't got that round the waterc at all necessarily. But when does someone know when they need a mastermind?

00:15:52.000 --> 00:15:55.000
Is it ever too early too late? Not relevant. I know that's a big question.

00:15:55.000 --> 00:16:07.000
Hi, I don't think it's ever too early, you know, because we were invited to Mbs.

00:16:07.000 --> 00:16:08.000
Hmm.

00:16:08.000 --> 00:16:16.000
Came a legacy, a mastermind in 2,018, Mom and I. And We've only been So of testing the water for about a year.

00:16:16.000 --> 00:16:17.000
Right.

00:16:17.000 --> 00:16:28.000
We didn't have a business at that point. We've done some training and we were trying to figure out what to do.

00:16:28.000 --> 00:16:29.000
Yeah.

00:16:29.000 --> 00:16:34.000
But people could see the potential in us like we were there, we showed up, we, you know, doing the things and so we were Mum and I had the conversation of is this too early?

00:16:34.000 --> 00:16:40.000
I may be amazed that just always runs ahead. Well. Slowly walked ahead. 20 miles an hour in my brain.

00:16:40.000 --> 00:16:53.000
They don't know.

00:16:53.000 --> 00:16:54.000
Hmm.

00:16:54.000 --> 00:16:58.000
I said, this is probably the perfect time. Because this should help us to figure out exactly What the strategy is, like what is the plan and how are we going to get there?

00:16:58.000 --> 00:16:59.000
Gotcha.

00:16:59.000 --> 00:17:10.000
So whilst we may not have technically been ready because we were at the beginning of our journey, We were ready because we were open to the idea of creating a different life.

00:17:10.000 --> 00:17:17.000
Yeah.

00:17:17.000 --> 00:17:18.000
Okay.

00:17:18.000 --> 00:17:21.000
So you know you're ready. When you think I want more from my current situation. How do I make that happen?

00:17:21.000 --> 00:17:32.000
Yeah, that makes that makes huge sense. And it's, I think, and also being open to a new experience, cause that must have been, was that the first mastermind you'd been on?

00:17:32.000 --> 00:17:39.000
No, we did their VIP which was a monthly in person mastermind. It was the first mastermind retreat had been on.

00:17:39.000 --> 00:17:40.000
Right.

00:17:40.000 --> 00:17:43.000
So in a different country that was in Dubai and the next year was in the Cayman Islands.

00:17:43.000 --> 00:17:44.000
Yeah.

00:17:44.000 --> 00:17:55.000
Which is what I suppose prompted me to start mine from 2021 because I'd wanted to run retreats of my own since I trained as a person trainer.

00:17:55.000 --> 00:18:00.000
Hmm.

00:18:00.000 --> 00:18:01.000
Yeah, yes.

00:18:01.000 --> 00:18:12.000
And then I saw that there's so much more to to it then yeah. So yeah, that was, that was, yeah, that was the first.

00:18:12.000 --> 00:18:13.000
Yeah.

00:18:13.000 --> 00:18:16.000
Not well The impasse of mastermind days were still out of the country for me having you know living in Miyaga but For both of us going away, yes, that was the first one.

00:18:16.000 --> 00:18:17.000
That was a very long unit answer, but who is?

00:18:17.000 --> 00:18:30.000
This one. No, no, it's important. What a lovely experience and to be working with your mother because a lot of people say don't work with family because it's complicated but I guess any business is complicated to be honest.

00:18:30.000 --> 00:18:31.000
So So tell us.

00:18:31.000 --> 00:18:41.000
It is complicated. You have to go through a period of time figuring things out, working out who does what.

00:18:41.000 --> 00:18:51.000
Knowing each other well enough and all your values and moles aligned is the end goal the same even if what you want to do to get there might be slightly different.

00:18:51.000 --> 00:19:03.000
So it took us a while to find our feet, but now We know what each other enjoys doing and thankfully it's the opposite of what the other doesn't enjoy doing.

00:19:03.000 --> 00:19:04.000
That's really complementary, yes. Okay.

00:19:04.000 --> 00:19:11.000
Yes, and that works really well like mom's very detail orientated. She's a great project manager.

00:19:11.000 --> 00:19:36.000
She's great on site like she loves that. Being in the thick of it and I'm more visionary bigger picture I see this yes that looks great those are the numbers great like let's make this happen and the hosting and the delivering of events and masterminds and retreats like me standing up.

00:19:36.000 --> 00:19:37.000
Hmm.

00:19:37.000 --> 00:19:39.000
And bringing people together, that's what I'm great at. So it's very complementary because I don't want to look at.

00:19:39.000 --> 00:19:54.000
Every line on a spreadsheet. I'm just, I'm just not there and like my podcast for example, I do the talking, I send it to the agency and they do the rest because I haven't got the time or inclination to learn that piece.

00:19:54.000 --> 00:19:58.000
Hmm.

00:19:58.000 --> 00:19:59.000
Yeah.

00:19:59.000 --> 00:20:03.000
Because I know that my talent lies elsewhere. And I think that's what everybody listening should be thinking about is Where are my talents?

00:20:03.000 --> 00:20:10.000
Forget about your weaknesses. They're irrelevant. You can outsource your weaknesses, work on the things that you're good at.

00:20:10.000 --> 00:20:19.000
Get better and even better and be the greatest of the things that you're already good at. And then you'll enjoy what you're doing a lot more as well.

00:20:19.000 --> 00:20:34.000
You have to, that makes huge sense and this is things, and I forget what it's called, but where you work out what your $10 h are on your $20 h and and more to the point outsource it to people who know what they're doing in that particular area and could do it quickly and effectively.

00:20:34.000 --> 00:20:35.000
Yeah.

00:20:35.000 --> 00:20:54.000
And Why, 2 years learning how to do high? Content editing when someone else is trained to video edit for you know taking your example.

00:20:54.000 --> 00:20:55.000
Okay.

00:20:55.000 --> 00:20:58.000
Yeah, make so much sense and it needn't be expensive to the new entrepreneur or the newbies starting out we're not talking about huge expense we just I think we're not talking about huge expense we just I think we're both saying aren't we just think what we're both saying aren't we just think what you do best outsource just the small things it may just be the the email

00:20:58.000 --> 00:21:08.000
and the the VA work which is such a skill I hugely respect that and I'm terrible at it.

00:21:08.000 --> 00:21:14.000
Yeah.

00:21:14.000 --> 00:21:15.000
Exactly.

00:21:15.000 --> 00:21:19.000
Oh, same and I like you could just own what you're not good at like without my VA Gemma she's absolutely incredible she does in 5 to 10 min what will take me 3 h So, she, we're, we're a great compliment too.

00:21:19.000 --> 00:21:22.000
She has the skills that I don't have. To help me build the things that I am good at.

00:21:22.000 --> 00:21:30.000
And that's what everybody needs. Everyone needs a gem off.

00:21:30.000 --> 00:21:33.000
Yeah, I think they were going to be asking about this.

00:21:33.000 --> 00:21:35.000
No, this is Molly.

00:21:35.000 --> 00:21:40.000
Okay, she's very busy. We need, we need her, sisters and cousins.

00:21:40.000 --> 00:21:41.000
Give my secret weapon. Here's my secret weapon.

00:21:41.000 --> 00:21:47.000
Sorry. Yeah, well, it's not secret anymore. You've just told us.

00:21:47.000 --> 00:21:49.000
Everyone knows I've got a gem off.

00:21:49.000 --> 00:21:57.000
Yeah, everyone should have a gym for sure. Absolutely. So changing round to the other side, setting up a mastermind, now, a retreat.

00:21:57.000 --> 00:22:06.000
What sort of advice would you give to the people? I mean obviously they're practical issues but there must be so many things to consider but not I was guess not over complicating it.

00:22:06.000 --> 00:22:07.000
So all yours.

00:22:07.000 --> 00:22:14.000
Yeah, as simple as possible. The first thing to do is check that there's a need for it.

00:22:14.000 --> 00:22:15.000
Yeah.

00:22:15.000 --> 00:22:29.000
And that's the most important thing. Like so many people come to me and Hi, I'm doing this course, I'm doing all of the content and then I'm gonna put it out there once I put all the content together I'm like no No, no, no, no!

00:22:29.000 --> 00:22:32.000
No. Along, those are going.

00:22:32.000 --> 00:22:42.000
Oh my goodness. Half the outline have the concepts like have your 7 steps or 3 steps or 5 steps.

00:22:42.000 --> 00:22:43.000
Yeah.

00:22:43.000 --> 00:22:49.000
Know the bullet points of what works. But don't do the actual work until you know that people need it or people want it.

00:22:49.000 --> 00:22:50.000
Yes.

00:22:50.000 --> 00:22:58.000
And you need to make people go from Oneing it, the feeling that they need it. I want you sold it, then you can create.

00:22:58.000 --> 00:23:03.000
Because otherwise you're just going about the one way round. You need to know there's demand.

00:23:03.000 --> 00:23:13.000
To do the market research ask your audience build your audience and ask your audience. What's missing? What is it that you think that you need help with?

00:23:13.000 --> 00:23:27.000
I asked the questions. Ask really great questions. And to me the more and more I got into the property world I saw a lot of people start and start.

00:23:27.000 --> 00:23:36.000
And a lot of people do courses and then you never heard from them again. And a lot of this stems from one as you mentioned earlier, loneliness.

00:23:36.000 --> 00:23:41.000
But 2, a lack of confidence and a lack of self-esteem because it's something brand new.

00:23:41.000 --> 00:23:42.000
Yeah.

00:23:42.000 --> 00:23:47.000
So when you go into something new, you're not going to be confident at it because this's where I know.

00:23:47.000 --> 00:23:50.000
But the more you do something, the better you get at it. Practice, practice, practice, repetition equals success.

00:23:50.000 --> 00:23:59.000
Consistency equals success. So I realized that that was what was missing. The more people I spoke to because they wanted to do these things, they had these goals.

00:23:59.000 --> 00:24:09.000
They wanted to get out of their job, create this property portfolio. Do this property business or another business.

00:24:09.000 --> 00:24:24.000
But they were lacking the confidence. So I tapped back into my previous coaching training. So when I did my PT training, I did exercise and throw on the play where I did life coaching and I pulled that back in.

00:24:24.000 --> 00:24:25.000
Interesting.

00:24:25.000 --> 00:24:26.000
And help people become more confident in themselves. They could go and create what they wanted to from the course.

00:24:26.000 --> 00:24:40.000
That they did that then didn't tell them they were running a business. So it was a few years later that we were looking at it and I was thinking, okay, so how people be confident.

00:24:40.000 --> 00:24:45.000
We're helping them to be healthier because that's like massive number one.

00:24:45.000 --> 00:24:50.000
And they're doing these bits and pieces but they're not realizing that actually you're now running a business.

00:24:50.000 --> 00:24:51.000
Hmm.

00:24:51.000 --> 00:25:02.000
And this is where the triangle of life comes in, health wealth and happiness. Because It's what helps you to find yourself rather than getting lost in the Bermuda Triangle.

00:25:02.000 --> 00:25:06.000
Your happiness is so important because life's too short to be miserable. Alright, it just is.

00:25:06.000 --> 00:25:09.000
Is it just? Hmm.

00:25:09.000 --> 00:25:18.000
As we said earlier, you've got one body to live in. You want your brain in your body to function at its best performance, peak performance, for capacity.

00:25:18.000 --> 00:25:29.000
And the wealth is not just about the money, it's your lifestyle, it's the business that you create, who you help, who's in your circle, who's who you're helping beyond that field.

00:25:29.000 --> 00:25:30.000
Hmm.

00:25:30.000 --> 00:25:46.000
So. Through the market. And through talking to people, that's how we developed. My mastermind working through a holistic approach, health wealth and happiness, and then took it to market.

00:25:46.000 --> 00:25:58.000
Brilliant. Brilliant. And I love the way that you explain how you drill down. It wasn't how to do, let's say property because they've done a course but getting to the root of things as you said the confidence in this case.

00:25:58.000 --> 00:25:59.000
Yeah.

00:25:59.000 --> 00:26:09.000
And it's a huge, huge thing so many people they worry while the people are going to think they they're scared of being judged, but people judge.

00:26:09.000 --> 00:26:21.000
Every single day no matter what you look like what you do How you feel, how much money you've got, whether you're ritual, you're poor, you've got red hair or blonde hair, brown hair, people are going to look at you, they're going to judge you.

00:26:21.000 --> 00:26:22.000
Yeah.

00:26:22.000 --> 00:26:36.000
Because that's human nature. I do it you do it everybody listening You know you you do that to other people, but that doesn't make you a bad person and that doesn't mean that you're taking action, you're just thinking something.

00:26:36.000 --> 00:26:37.000
And that's okay because you're a human being.

00:26:37.000 --> 00:26:40.000
Yeah. We're saleable, yeah.

00:26:40.000 --> 00:26:52.000
So exactly so you might as well do what you want to do with your life and create the business and the life that you want.

00:26:52.000 --> 00:26:53.000
Yeah.

00:26:53.000 --> 00:26:55.000
And be happy and judged. Rather than somewhere in miserable we judged.

00:26:55.000 --> 00:27:11.000
You said it in a nutshell, that is so, so true and I, I think this will resonate with a lot of the listeners because we're all at that's whatever state we're at we sometimes think it's the right thing what concerns are going to think and as you're saying it's sort of human nature to be thinking these things but yeah just go for it and do it

00:27:11.000 --> 00:27:18.000
and It, you know, if people are going to be unkind or cruel at the other end of the spectrum, we don't want them in our life anyway, do we?

00:27:18.000 --> 00:27:19.000
So.

00:27:19.000 --> 00:27:20.000
No.

00:27:20.000 --> 00:27:26.000
Oh, they're not your people. All you have to do is take the first step. And then take the next step and take the next step.

00:27:26.000 --> 00:27:27.000
Yeah.

00:27:27.000 --> 00:27:31.000
Half the big goal, the big vision. Be grateful for where you are and then just take the next step.

00:27:31.000 --> 00:27:32.000
And that's all you need to do. And let them judge.

00:27:32.000 --> 00:27:39.000
Okay. Yeah. I'm going back to what you said at the beginning, finding out what your market needs rather than creating.

00:27:39.000 --> 00:27:48.000
Our courses are putting loads of energy into something. That isn't going to to work at that particular moment.

00:27:48.000 --> 00:27:49.000
Okay.

00:27:49.000 --> 00:28:02.000
We see it happen all the time don't we and It's it's sad because that person's created a beautiful product but they it's not something that the market wants, so please.

00:28:02.000 --> 00:28:03.000
Okay.

00:28:03.000 --> 00:28:06.000
Right. Or that their audience don't necessarily need or wanted the speaking. The the wrong language to to the wrong people.

00:28:06.000 --> 00:28:07.000
And.

00:28:07.000 --> 00:28:16.000
Or the wrong language to the right people. That's why it's so important to connect with your audience and engage with people and understand their wants and needs and desires.

00:28:16.000 --> 00:28:17.000
No.

00:28:17.000 --> 00:28:20.000
So that you create something that that is going to help them.

00:28:20.000 --> 00:28:33.000
Yeah, absolutely. So, my another question I had is Okay, and we know that it's an unregulated industry, we're lucky to have you and other people that we all know who are absolutely ethical and brilliant at what they do.

00:28:33.000 --> 00:28:46.000
But how does that person is just looking around now thinking I want to try a mastermind, I want to go to a retreat but There's so many out there and so many ones that are not, let me just say it in this way, not the right for that person.

00:28:46.000 --> 00:28:58.000
So what are the sort of How would you advise someone to do, is there a checklist? You know, check this, check that.

00:28:58.000 --> 00:28:59.000
Yeah.

00:28:59.000 --> 00:29:03.000
Is there's there's a fair bit to it so some things for me I just instantly know are right And there's some level of intuition tapping into yourself.

00:29:03.000 --> 00:29:22.000
And that connection you have with the person. Running it. I would always advise to online stock people, check out their content, talk to them, send the messages, get on a call with them.

00:29:22.000 --> 00:29:23.000
Hmm.

00:29:23.000 --> 00:29:28.000
Understand what they do and observe them. And see if if you've got that right vibe and that right connection with them.

00:29:28.000 --> 00:29:35.000
If you like what someone's doing Don't be afraid to ask if they've got something that might be able to help you.

00:29:35.000 --> 00:29:42.000
And Like for me, I'm very, very particular with who I bring into my mastermind and to my retreats because

00:29:42.000 --> 00:29:45.000
That was going to be the next question, so go for it. Good thing.

00:29:45.000 --> 00:30:00.000
Yeah, I am very protective of my my people. And week because we talk about everything in life. It's a very, very safe space and everybody is very, very open.

00:30:00.000 --> 00:30:11.000
So people need to be the right fit. And they need to be a right fit for the group. And I would rather go 6 months of that bringing a new person in.

00:30:11.000 --> 00:30:24.000
Then bring the wrong person in. And that comes through building relationships and the key thing. So joining any mastermind or going through any retreat is the relationship you have with the person hosting it.

00:30:24.000 --> 00:30:31.000
And looking at their circle of people. Who are commenting on their posts? How are they engaging with people?

00:30:31.000 --> 00:30:39.000
Are they supportive? Are they rude? Are they do they look like they have the same or similar values to you?

00:30:39.000 --> 00:30:46.000
Do you you don't have to agree with everything everybody does and that's just impossible anyway, wouldn't life be boring?

00:30:46.000 --> 00:30:47.000
It would. Yeah.

00:30:47.000 --> 00:30:55.000
Yeah, live check, you know, have a conversation and that's the most important thing is the communication between you and other people.

00:30:55.000 --> 00:31:01.000
And that'll tell you, you know, ask them what what's going to be the outcome of me attending this thing?

00:31:01.000 --> 00:31:08.000
What am I going to get out of it? You might like you can't always measure success successes at linear.

00:31:08.000 --> 00:31:16.000
So some masterminds out there, they'll promise you 6 or 7 figures in 90 days.

00:31:16.000 --> 00:31:17.000
But.

00:31:17.000 --> 00:31:25.000
Okay. But we don't, we don't promise that. We promise that you will get out what you put in.

00:31:25.000 --> 00:31:26.000
That's fair.

00:31:26.000 --> 00:31:39.000
And you will get the level of success that you want and that you set up for yourself provided that you do the work and the provided that you listen to the advice and You take the action.

00:31:39.000 --> 00:31:46.000
Just because you join something doesn't mean you're instantly going to be successful, you have to do the work as well.

00:31:46.000 --> 00:31:55.000
So be willing to do the work. Talk to talk to the other people on the mastermind order going to the retreat as well like ask them how they found it, what they got out of it.

00:31:55.000 --> 00:32:02.000
And that way you'll get You'll get a sense check for yourself if the other people are saying good things.

00:32:02.000 --> 00:32:16.000
As a post to just the person running. I can Shout, I'm blue in the face of how amazing I am and I truly believe that but I know that because of the feedback I get from my clients and I asked about feedback so I can improve.

00:32:16.000 --> 00:32:21.000
So I always say to people go and talk to the people that are already here.

00:32:21.000 --> 00:32:46.000
That's really good advice and it comes back to the to our foundations that no life can trust, get to know someone that you're going to work with even if you're just purchasing a little $10 thing.

00:32:46.000 --> 00:32:47.000
So, something.

00:32:47.000 --> 00:32:49.000
It's the beginning of that ladder. Isn't it? Of of getting into someone's circle and making sure that's the right place for you because as you said we all know that we can help people for sure but we may not might not be the right person for that particular client and it's better to send them in another direction than

00:32:49.000 --> 00:32:53.000
Is that, and that's what I always say, if I'm not right for you, I'll likely know somebody who is.

00:32:53.000 --> 00:33:01.000
Yeah.

00:33:01.000 --> 00:33:02.000
No, it's understanding that isn't it?

00:33:02.000 --> 00:33:07.000
So I'm on offended if somebody says no. Because we're not all for everyone. And I can Yeah, and I generally will send someone somewhere else.

00:33:07.000 --> 00:33:15.000
I'm like, okay, this might be not, might not be right for you at the moment, maybe more later on in the interim, go and check out this person.

00:33:15.000 --> 00:33:17.000
Yeah, or, back in a couple of years because I think it'll be more valuable to you at that point.

00:33:17.000 --> 00:33:27.000
Something, absolutely. Yeah. And it's interesting you said about searching out because I remember the retreat I went on years ago.

00:33:27.000 --> 00:33:32.000
I did exactly that. I love the group of people, the value they added, etc, etc.

00:33:32.000 --> 00:33:43.000
I dug a bit deeper and they found out they did have a retreat and I think the fact that they weren't promoting it advertising it was in in a way that they could have done was that was a good thing.

00:33:43.000 --> 00:33:49.000
And it attracted the right sort of people and you're right the circle of people there as you obviously find on your retreat style.

00:33:49.000 --> 00:33:53.000
You got the same people in the room, haven't you? The same ethos, the same.

00:33:53.000 --> 00:33:57.000
Morals, ethics, ideas, interests. Broadly speaking, obviously everyone is is completely different. But Yes.

00:33:57.000 --> 00:34:02.000
Yeah, I'm some humor. There's like we we love a lot.

00:34:02.000 --> 00:34:08.000
Yes. But I went on was in the States and there was a lot of humor there because we just couldn't understand each other.

00:34:08.000 --> 00:34:13.000
UN.

00:34:13.000 --> 00:34:14.000
That connects people.

00:34:14.000 --> 00:34:18.000
So, human, humor goes a long way, doesn't it? And, Yeah, a hundred percent.

00:34:18.000 --> 00:34:24.000
Okay, so I've already asked you about sport, but it's still a big part of your life as you said.

00:34:24.000 --> 00:34:32.000
So what I I think we will probably both what we see is people often sitting at their computers for a long time, not taking a break, thinking they are working hard.

00:34:32.000 --> 00:34:46.000
And I don't know who will agree on this I think we will so I'll say I'm a great believer in getting away from the death, doing some exercise, changing your mindset and if it's not working go away for a day but you're the sport the coaching expert.

00:34:46.000 --> 00:34:48.000
What would you what would you advise people to do if they're sitting down all day?

00:34:48.000 --> 00:34:57.000
Our bodies are not designed to sit down all day and not move. I don't know if you'll have noticed how many times I've changed position so I've been sat here.

00:34:57.000 --> 00:35:06.000
I'm trying hard to sit still.

00:35:06.000 --> 00:35:07.000
Yeah.

00:35:07.000 --> 00:35:17.000
Oh, I'm such a pigeon. But that's because I'm not made to sit on our mums and If you're one of those people that is just sat there and you find like hours and hours a pass, you know, oh my goodness, I haven't moved.

00:35:17.000 --> 00:35:18.000
Alright.

00:35:18.000 --> 00:35:27.000
I'd sat an alarm to make you get up and move for 5 min. There was a study done over 2 groups of people for one group did 30 min of exercise continuously.

00:35:27.000 --> 00:35:38.000
And one group did 5 min of exercise. At different points throughout the day. And the people that did the 5 min throughout the day.

00:35:38.000 --> 00:35:39.000
Yes, clearly.

00:35:39.000 --> 00:35:42.000
The multiple 5 min throughout the day. Got more benefit than the people doing the one lot of 30 min.

00:35:42.000 --> 00:35:43.000
Okay.

00:35:43.000 --> 00:35:50.000
And I, I now, like, because I work from home, I've got my home office.

00:35:50.000 --> 00:36:01.000
I'll do something and once a call is ended I get up I move I'll make a cup of tea or go get some more water or go on the roof and just like stare at the sun for 5 min.

00:36:01.000 --> 00:36:02.000
But.

00:36:02.000 --> 00:36:08.000
But yeah, yeah. Because our muscles, we have muscles and joints for a reason.

00:36:08.000 --> 00:36:13.000
Hmm.

00:36:13.000 --> 00:36:14.000
Yeah.

00:36:14.000 --> 00:36:25.000
We're meant to move, where we were hunters like thousands of years ago and Everything's become such a convenience.

00:36:25.000 --> 00:36:26.000
Hmm.

00:36:26.000 --> 00:36:29.000
That people have become. Dependent on supermarkets and lazy by nature because we have the cup or lifestyle all of screens in front of our faces.

00:36:29.000 --> 00:36:36.000
And we wonder why people were getting neckache and backache and Connell syndrome. It's because we're not moving enough.

00:36:36.000 --> 00:36:37.000
Yeah.

00:36:37.000 --> 00:36:41.000
One of the ways I really like to advocate to work is using the Pomodoro technique. And that gets really focused.

00:36:41.000 --> 00:36:44.000
Right.

00:36:44.000 --> 00:36:50.000
So an hour and a half was 25 min work, 5 min break and you do that 3 times.

00:36:50.000 --> 00:36:56.000
And that forces you to focus without distraction so you don't look at anything any notifications other than the work you're doing.

00:36:56.000 --> 00:37:04.000
When that alarm goes on for 25 min, get up and move. I've moved from the chair.

00:37:04.000 --> 00:37:10.000
When knocking down the stairs, start a job, make a cup of tea, do some spot something, go and breathe the air outside.

00:37:10.000 --> 00:37:11.000
Yeah.

00:37:11.000 --> 00:37:22.000
I, the one you get so much done in that period of time but 2, your body feels better and your brain's able to, but 2, your body feels better and your brain feels better and your brain is able to function better because you've had that level of movement.

00:37:22.000 --> 00:37:23.000
Great advance.

00:37:23.000 --> 00:37:35.000
In between and the reason yeah we become so static and unfocused is because you haven't let the blood move around your body therefore the oxygen isn't getting to your brain like it's supposed to.

00:37:35.000 --> 00:37:45.000
Basic biology, isn't it? Yeah, I tend I don't know other people to same but I'll tend to get up and I had I was working with a standing in desk during COVID.

00:37:45.000 --> 00:37:51.000
It was so much better ever standing. Standing desk, that's another thing that you can do.

00:37:51.000 --> 00:37:56.000
A bit of housekeeping, something like that, but just getting getting moving, 100%. Now.

00:37:56.000 --> 00:38:00.000
Yeah, amount of times I work from like my laptop in the kitchen.

00:38:00.000 --> 00:38:01.000
I'm sure, so it's high.

00:38:01.000 --> 00:38:10.000
So he's got it on the counter. Yeah. Yeah, so, what advice would you give to someone starting out?

00:38:10.000 --> 00:38:16.000
They've discovered their passion. They know what they want to do to someone starting out. They've discovered their passion, they know what they want to do, whether whether it be network marketing, a service or product.

00:38:16.000 --> 00:38:21.000
What's, I mean, it's. How long is a piece of string but what would be?

00:38:21.000 --> 00:38:22.000
Cup of pieces. Yeah, it does depend on a lot. You got me.

00:38:22.000 --> 00:38:38.000
Hey, depends. Okay, I would say Map how your goals have a goal set a deadline and make it Almost unachievable.

00:38:38.000 --> 00:38:44.000
Because if you get halfway to one achievable you'll have achieved more than something achievable.

00:38:44.000 --> 00:38:45.000
Yeah.

00:38:45.000 --> 00:38:59.000
And putting a deadline on something helps you to really push forward for it. So if you imagine being back in school, a lot of people would leave their homework to the night before.

00:38:59.000 --> 00:39:00.000
Hmm.

00:39:00.000 --> 00:39:07.000
Cause you know you had to do it. And this is the thing, if you give yourself 8 h to do something or 2 h to do something, you'll take that amount of time to do it.

00:39:07.000 --> 00:39:08.000
Yeah.

00:39:08.000 --> 00:39:15.000
SAY, very strategic with your time. And allocate times to be doing certain things. So diorising is very, very important.

00:39:15.000 --> 00:39:20.000
I wish I'd done this a lot earlier in my

00:39:20.000 --> 00:39:34.000
In well in all of my businesses. But especially since I went online. So we as we as you know, we teach help of happiness.

00:39:34.000 --> 00:39:35.000
Huh.

00:39:35.000 --> 00:39:39.000
So I color closed my diary. Blue for health, green for wealth, yellow for happy. And they're they're nonnegotiables and they're in the diary and I can see that.

00:39:39.000 --> 00:39:46.000
And I've got that visual. So that diary notification pops up. They're the only notifications I have on.

00:39:46.000 --> 00:39:47.000
Right.

00:39:47.000 --> 00:39:51.000
Is the diary? Nothing else. I can't physically go into any app to see if anything's happened.

00:39:51.000 --> 00:40:00.000
And that way you'll start to look at things and go. Well, I'm, that's popping up, but I'm not doing it. Why am I not doing that?

00:40:00.000 --> 00:40:10.000
Is that something I could Oh, I really should be doing and I'm putting off. Could show so therefore should I keep it delete it or delegate it to someone else?

00:40:10.000 --> 00:40:11.000
Hmm.

00:40:11.000 --> 00:40:18.000
So I always prioritize tasks in terms of non-negotiable, urgent, the stuff with a deadline and then everything else is important.

00:40:18.000 --> 00:40:25.000
But definitely prioritize your time, put it into You're diary, turn every other notification off.

00:40:25.000 --> 00:40:26.000
Yeah.

00:40:26.000 --> 00:40:32.000
And work towards the dream and remember why it is you're doing what you're doing. Because if you don't want it enough it's not going to happen.

00:40:32.000 --> 00:40:33.000
It's okay.

00:40:33.000 --> 00:40:37.000
You have to like fire up under your ass to make it happen.

00:40:37.000 --> 00:40:43.000
Yeah, absolutely. That's really, really good advice because I've got to know a really good official pitch and I'll do more of this.

00:40:43.000 --> 00:40:56.000
I do some of it but I'm not doing it completely. Just cut out everything else, focus, get it down and the deadline is is so important because we feel the time we have don't we when we're really really, really do.

00:40:56.000 --> 00:41:04.000
We do. I, I book photo sheets in, purely for aesthetic, vanity reasons.

00:41:04.000 --> 00:41:15.000
But that helps me to stay focused, stay on track. And then other times I have strength-based challenges and deadlines for being able to pick up a certain amount of weight.

00:41:15.000 --> 00:41:26.000
So it's having that goal to work towards and if I know I've got a camera. I'm gonna have a camera in front of my face like in a bikini on a beach.

00:41:26.000 --> 00:41:27.000
Okay, there's biscuits.

00:41:27.000 --> 00:41:30.000
I'm not, I'm not, Okay, I'm not gonna know what we can make this.

00:41:30.000 --> 00:41:36.000
So, but it's, it's that and having those things in and remembering. Why you want to achieve that thing.

00:41:36.000 --> 00:41:39.000
Hmm. Yeah.

00:41:39.000 --> 00:41:46.000
And it always comes back to that purpose. Of what is it that I want to achieve? Why do I want to achieve it?

00:41:46.000 --> 00:41:52.000
What's the pain of me not achieving it and what's the pleasurable outcome of me achieving it or when I achieve it.

00:41:52.000 --> 00:42:07.000
Yeah, listeners just make a note of that pause this recording that you're listening to and make a note of what Natalie just said because that will really really help with success and at the end of the day as you said is what we do but that is solid good advice thank you.

00:42:07.000 --> 00:42:12.000
And Right now, customary, ask my, guests questions. I stolen it from Radius for Status Island discs.

00:42:12.000 --> 00:42:21.000
So imagine you're on a desert island. And that he doesn't know exactly which questions I'm going to ask her.

00:42:21.000 --> 00:42:27.000
So you're going to get 3 questions. So you So you're on a desert island, you can't have a boat by the way because a lot of people have chosen a luxury boats but knowing your interest in sport you can have one piece of gym equipment.

00:42:27.000 --> 00:42:40.000
What would it be? One.

00:42:40.000 --> 00:42:41.000
Oh,

00:42:41.000 --> 00:42:50.000
I don't know. Difficult decisions going on here.

00:42:50.000 --> 00:42:51.000
I'm having

00:42:51.000 --> 00:42:56.000
It would. It would probably have to be a cable machine because you can change the weight on it. If I had a dumbbell machine because you can change the weight on it.

00:42:56.000 --> 00:42:58.000
If I had a dumbbell, there'd only be one dumbbell, right?

00:42:58.000 --> 00:43:01.000
Never. Yeah, I like that. Yeah, the woody bit, yes. Kind of sets, yeah.

00:43:01.000 --> 00:43:08.000
And the cable machine you can do multiple things with as long as I can have all of the attachments.

00:43:08.000 --> 00:43:14.000
Or you could use lots and cut up trees or rocks or something. Yeah, okay, well, I, yeah, thank you very much.

00:43:14.000 --> 00:43:19.000
Now, one piece of music, of obviously going to Let you know that you have something to play, Tom, but your musical choice be garage.

00:43:19.000 --> 00:43:23.000
Also garage. Also.

00:43:23.000 --> 00:43:30.000
Okay, any particular?

00:43:30.000 --> 00:43:31.000
All of it. No.

00:43:31.000 --> 00:43:37.000
All of it. Because I have a favorite song. And if I think if you picked one song, you'd get sick of it within 24 h.

00:43:37.000 --> 00:43:38.000
Yeah.

00:43:38.000 --> 00:43:49.000
So if you're asking which genre of music I would like to listen to for the rest of my life if I had to pick one it would be our school damage.

00:43:49.000 --> 00:43:50.000
Well, he's amazing.

00:43:50.000 --> 00:43:54.000
I was actually asking which one piece of music I'm gonna be. Really down on this.

00:43:54.000 --> 00:44:00.000
Decision time.

00:44:00.000 --> 00:44:01.000
Do you listen to music when you're in the gym as well?

00:44:01.000 --> 00:44:07.000
This is Yeah, it's dubstep, jungle, drama base, old school garage.

00:44:07.000 --> 00:44:12.000
That kind of old school stuff from the 90.

00:44:12.000 --> 00:44:18.000
Yeah, some good music then. Okay, we'll go with that. Thank you very much. That's very different to any other guest choice.

00:44:18.000 --> 00:44:28.000
I appreciate that. Now a book you've got Shakespeare which someone actually wanted to not have you got Shakespeare and you've got your own book of faith of your choice, what other book would you take?

00:44:28.000 --> 00:44:30.000
One book.

00:44:30.000 --> 00:44:32.000
Oh.

00:44:32.000 --> 00:44:39.000
I would take to be asked this. Yeah.

00:44:39.000 --> 00:44:40.000
And lots of times.

00:44:40.000 --> 00:44:45.000
This is difficult because

00:44:45.000 --> 00:44:48.000
Fiction I like to read. Non-fiction I like to listen to

00:44:48.000 --> 00:44:53.000
It's not. Hmm.

00:44:53.000 --> 00:45:03.000
So. If it was one to entertain me to read.

00:45:03.000 --> 00:45:12.000
Again, I don't have a favorite book. I've read Anna Green Gables many a time when I was child of my nan and Heidi.

00:45:12.000 --> 00:45:20.000
Books in. Is someone else chose? Chris Bishop chose a childhood memory, a book for a child of memory.

00:45:20.000 --> 00:45:29.000
That seems where a lot of people are going. Happy Memories Associations.

00:45:29.000 --> 00:45:30.000
You'd have plenty on your desert island.

00:45:30.000 --> 00:45:37.000
Yeah, I think I've not read that for probably since I was 8 or 9. And of course, Oh my goodness, I'm Can I take a kindle?

00:45:37.000 --> 00:45:38.000
I don't want to run in the hospital. Okay.

00:45:38.000 --> 00:45:45.000
What are you saying? Okay. I think my listeners would disagree. Take a Kindle.

00:45:45.000 --> 00:45:48.000
Kindle your luxury. That's really smart. You see, she's a smart businesswoman, guys.

00:45:48.000 --> 00:45:56.000
All right, no thank you. Natalie, thank you so much for coming on the podcast today.

00:45:56.000 --> 00:46:03.000
Lots of nuggets. Lots of information for people. And we're going to put in the show notes exactly how people can contact you, how they can approach you for masterminds and all the social media.

00:46:03.000 --> 00:46:09.000
Contacts, that's okay with you, yeah.

00:46:09.000 --> 00:46:12.000
Yeah, perfect. Thank you very much for having me. I've really enjoyed this conversation. It has fired me up for this evening.

00:46:12.000 --> 00:46:19.000
And I'm gonna go and get creative in the kitchen, cook some chicken. Which is gonna, Okay.

00:46:19.000 --> 00:46:30.000
Oh, nothing. If it's not, that is over in the freezing, cold English weather at the moment, but you must miss some things about about you'll be in London, at the moment.

00:46:30.000 --> 00:46:34.000
Oh, I'm in London at the moment. There is absolutely nothing I miss about being here.

00:46:34.000 --> 00:46:45.000
Yeah, I must admit when I lived abroad I loved it but Natalie thank you very much indeed once more for coming to the show and again listeners look in the show notes it will all be fair and check out thatalia's social media science and everything she does.

00:46:45.000 --> 00:46:57.000
What an inspiration. Thank you very much indeed.

00:46:45.000 --> 00:46:57.000
Thank you
