Mock Draft - 12-Team Double Flex
Ready to dominate your fantasy football draft from any position? Join hosts Frankie and Johnny with special guest Paul "UltimateWolff" Rapp as they navigate a 12-team half PPR double flex mock draft from the 3, 6, and 12 positions.
The trio showcases three radically different approaches that yield surprisingly effective results. Johnny secures the coveted Jamar Chase-Joe Burrow stack by strategically "reaching" in the third round, demonstrating when breaking ADP rules actually makes sense. Meanwhile, Paul deploys an "anchor receiver" strategy with CeeDee Lamb before grabbing Josh Allen in the second round, proving elite QBs can still anchor championship rosters when surrounded by the right supporting cast.
Perhaps most fascinating is Frankie's approach from the 12 spot, where he loads up on premium running backs (Geanty, CMC, and Kamara) before addressing other positions. This "robust RB" strategy creates a dominant backfield while still finding receiver value later with Garrett Wilson and Stefan Diggs.
The draft reveals crucial insights about positional value, including when to pounce on falling stars like Travis Kelce and Cooper Kupp, and how to identify those critical "teardrop" moments when talent significantly falls off at a position. The banter between drafters offers genuine tactical wisdom, particularly around creating trade leverage with handcuff selections and high-upside rookies in later rounds.

Mocking it up today, guys. Mock draft. We got a 12-team half PPR double flex strap in. Let's go, all right, all right, all right, welcome to the show. This is the Frankly Fantasy Football Podcast. We are your hosts, frankie and Johnny. Frankie, you ready to do a mock draft today, baby?
Speaker 2:Oh, I'm always ready to do a mock, my man Always ready.
Speaker 1:All right, we have a special guest doing a mock draft with us today. Frankie, why don't you introduce us to our friend here?
Speaker 2:I would be glad to. So, guys and gals listening and watching, we are dropping all of these mock drafts and sometimes we have some requests and other times we're bringing on guests, and we have a special guest today, none other than Ultimate Wolf. As you can see that beautiful white wolf background. Paul comes hailing from our 14-man Double Flex Family League, which we're going to be doing some changes, and he has not only won once, but he's won twice in the last two years, three years, and dude has been dominating the league and has been multiple winners in multiple of our leagues. So, with that being said, mr Ultimate Wolf, aka Paul Rapp, welcome to the Mock Draft man. We are so happy to have you on board. Well, thank you.
Speaker 3:Thank you. It's an honor to be here and remember, not only have I won the 14-team Double Flex, I also won the 14-man Super Flex. Only person to do that, that's right?
Speaker 1:Well, I'll go fuck myself.
Speaker 3:Thanks, paul, and hopefully soon to be the only one to win both of those and the new iteration of our league.
Speaker 1:Oh yeah, we're changing that league, guys. This is a fun one. We're going from a double flex and actually making it five flexes One running back, one receiver, five flexes and that includes tight ends. So no tight ends, no kickers, no defenses. It's going to be a blast, guys. Can't wait, try that.
Speaker 2:Paul shout out to you what did? What are we calling this now? Because that is brilliant and I just want to plug this in case others listening, viewing and seeing this want to maybe follow suit.
Speaker 3:It will be called the Cinco de Flexo, cinco de Flexo, cinco de Flexo. Fantastic, I love it.
Speaker 1:It's brilliant. It's brilliant. Yeah, I love it. All right, well, welcome in, paul. Glad to have you here, man, and congratulations on all the success you've had in fantasy football, even though it's mostly against me, you, son of a bitch.
Speaker 1:All right, today, guys, mock draft let's a 12-team half PPR double flex league. The board's up here, guys. It is a 12-team league. I will be drafting from the three spot, paul's going to be drafting from the six and Frankie's going to be bringing up the rear just where he likes it at the 12 spot. So we'll see what Frankie does on the turn there. All right, all right, let's get the draft rolling here, guys, let's go, okay, right off the rip. Ooh, leaves me some interesting things. We got team one and team two here going heavy on running back. It is a half PPR, so people could potentially do that Now. That leaves things super easy for me. Man, this is not even a question whatsoever. It is going to be typically the consensus 101 that you're going to see on your leagues, and it is going to be Jamar Chase. Let's go, all right. After I took Jamar Chase, we got Puka Nakua, derek Henry and Paul. You're on the clock at number six. Where are you going, brother?
Speaker 3:Still a little hesitant about Justin Jefferson just with his new quarterback, so I'm going to go. Ceedee Lamb.
Speaker 1:Great pick. I love that. Yeah, we've talked about it, man, I think Dak and CeeDee are a sneaky, sneaky stack. Defense is going to be worse than what we've seen in the past years. And that running game I just have zero faith in that running game that they've got right now, so I think they're going to throw the ball. A ton man game. I just have zero faith in that running game that they've got right now, so I think they're going to throw the ball. A ton man love. That pick can't go wrong there. All right, then at team seven we had jj, then jameer gibbs I'm in ross, st brown malik neighbors. Nico collins, big receiver, run there in the first round. Frankie, on the clock at the turn at the number 12. Where are you going?
Speaker 2:so, guys, there's this is really interesting. Again, this is half p. So if you're starting to see running backs go a little bit earlier than what we would assume from PPR or whatever that may be, that's the reason why Now, again, you look at how this history inspired, I can really go and do anything. So from a running back, there's Ashton Gentry, there's CMC, there's Devon Achan. From a receiver perspective, you have Brian Thomas Jr, you have brian thomas jr, you have drake london aj brown. You know, I'm going to try something here and I want to see how this, how this kind of rolls.
Speaker 2:I'm actually going to go running back, running back and I'm going to take genti and I'm going to take cmc and I want to see how this ends up playing all right.
Speaker 1:I cannot wait until the youtube comments come out. For some reason they always hate when we take cmc at the turn or in the first draft. Hate it, frankie. I love that man. I mean I want to see how this turns out for you and see what kind of receiver room you can put together. But getting Jenty and McCaffrey as your first two picks, holy shit. Let's go. Let's see how this turns out. I'm excited. All right. Then coming into the second round, here we've got Brian Thomas Jr, brock Bowers third pick of the second round Bucky Irving, devon Achan and Drake London. Paul, who are you going to pair up here at the 2.7 with CeeDee Lamb?
Speaker 3:Well, I was looking at AJ Brown, Josh Jacobs two good choices but considering the trophy behind me was because of this man, I'm gonna go with josh allen oh, I like that.
Speaker 1:All right, grabbing the first quarterback here middle of the second round, that's typically where you're gonna see it. Josh allen, a pair up with cd lamb damn, that's a nice start, man, all right. Then we had, uh, josh jacobs and lamar jackson taking two quarterbacks on a tight end in the second round. Guys, that's typically what we're seeing in a 12 team league, all right. So I am picking here in the second round. Who am I going to pair up with? Jamar Chase? Really interesting receivers I'm looking at. If I want to go receiver receiver AJ Brown's there. Ladd McConkie, jsn. Aj Brown's, kind of the teardrop for me. That would be the receiver I'd consider.
Speaker 1:Running backs Jonathan Taylor, kyron Williams, chase Brown let's just take a peek-see over here at quarterback, all right. So the strategy I'm going to take here Frankie and Paul, I'm going to lock down Jonathan Taylor because I love Jonathan Taylor. I think it's a teardrop for me when it comes to volume and touchdown upside what I'm going to do and I'm going to tell you ahead of time because I'm on the turn, three picks you know coming at me in the next round. I'm going to try to grab that Burrow pick on that third round pick to match up with Jamar Chase. So let's see if this strategy can work out here. Guys, all right.
Speaker 1:After Jonathan Taylor, we have Kyron Williams, aj Brown, ladd McConkie and Chase Brown sure as shit reaching up a little bit for him. But to get that stack, you guys, with Jamar Chase, you're going to have to reach up for Burrow and get him, and that's exactly what I'm going to do. That's the number one stack in my mind, guys. It's the most fun. It's going to be difficult to acquire because you will have to pay for Burrow, but I'm telling you it's going to pay dividends. Guys, all right. After I took Joe Burrow, we have Trey McBride, tyreek Hill and Paul. You're on the clock. You've got CeeDee Lamb, josh Allen when are you going?
Speaker 3:Well, I was trying to. I was hoping Tyreek would land on me but that didn't quite happen. So I was looking at either Jackson Smith and Tee Higgins. But I'm looking down over at running back now. I think I'm going to go with B back now. I think I'm going to go with Brees Hall. I think they're going to focus on the run game a lot this year, um, with field back there. So I think he's going to get a lot of volume this year.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I mean Frankie just talked about Brees Hall. He was one of his um uh steals of the drafts, just because of his third round value and what the jets have going on. Brees is in a contract year as well and he knows he's got to work for it man. So I love that with a running back. All right. After Brees Hall we had Tee Higgins, jsn, Terry McLaurin, james Cook, Jalen Hurts. Frankie, you're back on the clock at the turn with two picks. Who are you going to match up with?
Speaker 2:Ashton, jette and CMC. Baby. This is so fun again, guys, thinking half PPR here, double flex. So right now, from a running back perspective, I could go Amarian Hampton, kenneth Walker, kamara Chuba, hubbard, so on and so forth. From a receiver standpoint, I could also do Garrett Wilson, marvin Harrison, mike Evans, mike Evans, devontae Adams, rasheed Rice Guys.
Speaker 2:What I'm going to do is I'm going to end up locking down Garrett Wilson as my receiver number one, but then I'm also going to come back and I'm going to take Kamara.
Speaker 2:And the reason that I'm taking another running back here is because, yes, in case there is an injury to CMC, I have a nice little plug-in for Kamara's perspective. But if I have both Ashton and CMC healthy, I am absolutely fine to put Alvin Kamara guys as one of those double flex spots. And fun fact, he ended up finishing as a top 10 running back last year In some leagues. In some leagues he was number 11, but in half PPR and guys, if I can get another stud like that as a part of my flex, knowing that there could be a few receivers that would come back to me on the snake, knowing that there's a few teams that need running backs, like that of team nine, team seven, and even that of team four and team two, or, excuse me, not team two, team one. I'm looking pretty solid. So for me I'm locking in those particular running backs and then I'll go a little bit crazy on receiver here.
Speaker 1:Moving forward, Frankie, that's a great pick and a great strategy. With that, I mean, alvin Kamara is a guy you can do that with. Last year he had 89 targets receiving. That's the most he's had in the past four years, so that's really interesting. I mean you could say he's an aging running back, but his actual pass volume has increased from last year over the past few years. So and a half PPR putting him as your double flex. Totally valuable, absolutely. Love it All. Right, great strategy there. After Kamara was taken, we had Mike Evans, jaden Daniels, marvin Harrison, rishi Rice and George Kittle in the fourth Paul, you're on the clock CeeDee Lamb, josh Allen, brees Hall Really nice balance.
Speaker 3:Where are you going, man? I was looking down at running backs because I think when it comes back to me there's going to be a significant teardrop. So I'm looking between Amari and Hampton and Kenneth Walker. I like Hampton, but I think you know.
Speaker 2:I'm going to go with somebody I know is going to get a lot of volume Kenneth Walker. Paul, I really like that. And I want to jump in here real quick, john, because, guys, for those of you who don't know, rashawn Slater also just went on IR. Unfortunately, their stud left tackle, who they just paid a boatload, they being the Chargers. He is now out for season and so for me, guys, looking at the running back situation, does that sway, maybe where you draft Amarian Hampton, maybe where you draft Najee Harris. For me it won't change necessarily Justin Herbert or the receiving core, but it does make me think, hmm, that might be a little bit more of a hindrance to Amarion. So for me, man, I really like the Kenneth Walker over Hampton because of that reason.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I absolutely love that. Now, I did want to take Amarion Hampton. I haven't been able to get any shares of him yet and he did get drafted right in front of me here Right after you took Kenneth Walker, we had Chuba and Amarian Hampton. I'm on the clock now. Now, this is a double flex guys. So I took a chance. I did take JT in the second round and Burrow in the third.
Speaker 1:I need to hammer receivers here. I cannot be, you know, held without enough good receivers here on my team. So I see a kind of a teardrop here. There's a couple of receivers. I like the top three really Devontae Adams, dj Moore and DK Metcalf. Really tough decision here. Of these three guys I do think I am going to. I'm a little concerned with DJ Moore.
Speaker 1:Just camp, you know again, guys, this is early August. There's a lot of football to go, but right now camp just started about a week ago Not looking great for the Bears at the moment. So I'm a little nervous about Caleb Williams. Not a lot of good trending talk coming out of camp with Caleb, so I'm a little concerned there. Dk Metcalf I love him. If there's a chance he comes back around to me on the turn here. I'm snagging him immediately, but I'm going to go with Devontae Adams. I just think that role is guaranteed. We've seen two receivers flourish in that offense and I'm going to start with that and see how we go.
Speaker 1:All right. And then, after I took Devontae Adams, joe Mixon, dj Moore, cortland Sutton and Devontae Smith, and there's my boy waiting right for me. I love when none of you guys are around me so I can show my strategy and see what I'm thinking and actually work it out for me. I'm going to take DK Metcalf here, guys. So now I'm able to solidify my receiver room a lot faster than I thought I'd be able to with Jamar Chase and DK Metcalf. Love that All right, paul, you are on the clock. This is round number five.
Speaker 3:Where are you going to go, buddy? Well, again it happens. The teams before me grab Zay Flowers. I was hoping he'd drop to me, but sometimes you got to play on the fly when that happens. So I was looking at, you know, running backs, but I already have two. I could probably hold off a little bit on some more wide receivers Xavier Worthy I'm not too high on, especially with Rashid back. Williams Pickens I don't want to do Pickens because I've got Lamb, but I think I'm going to kind of take a turn here and I'm going to go with Sam Laporta. He had a bad year last year but I think he's going to bounce back this year yeah, yeah, I agree.
Speaker 1:I mean it's going to be a different offense. You know it's not going to be exactly the ben johnson offense, so we'll we'll see how that plays out, but he's tons of talent, um, and still, you know, nothing else really changed on the team. He still had jared goff getting him the ball. So, yeah, I could see some positive regression out of sam laporta this year for sure. All right, frank, building your beautiful stable of running backs here with genti cmc and and Kamara Pair them up with Garrett Wilson. Where are you going next, man?
Speaker 2:Yeah. So, guys, looking at the availability left, I'm not even going to look at running back right now. I have three-star running backs, so I'm going to look at quarterback Quarterback. I'm going to wait, guys. There's Patrick Holmes, baker Mayfield, bo, nix, kyler, etc. Not worried about that, my top tight end choices are also off the board, so I'm going to look at receiver. So, from receiver, there's George Pickens, jalen Waddle, olave Judy.
Speaker 2:This is where it gets interesting, because throw ADP out the window right when you are looking or drafting from the back half or the backside or very front end of your drafts. You got to go for who you really want on your particular team. So for me, I'm actually leaning for a boom bust type of guy and I'm okay with that, knowing that I already have my stable of running backs. And for a receiver too, I'm going to take a chance on this guy. It's going to be Jerry Judy. With that of Joe Flacco, he is receiver one there. There's very little competition around him. What we saw, I mean Jerry Judy was a top 15 receiver, and if I can get a top 15 receiver as my receiver two, I'm very happy with that. I think that that gives me a really solid floor.
Speaker 2:Now where the issue happens to be is on this next particular pick, because, guys, there is going to be a ton of receivers come off the board by the time it comes back to me.
Speaker 2:So now you got to make a decision. Do I go with a Chris Olave or Calvin Ridley, or do I really take a crazy jump and risk him not coming back to me, knowing that that's who I'm going to target? And, guys, just to show you how this works, I am going to take a risk. I am going to say, screw ADP, I'm throwing it out the window, and I want to make sure that my second flex spot is buttoned up, and it's going to be Stefan Diggs, and I really want to go, stefan Diggs. Because of all the information coming out of camp, I'm nervous that I won't be able to get him on the turn. In case something happens like that, I want to make sure that I go for the guy that I really want, and so, for me, I'm going to get Stefan Diggs, knowing that he's a receiver, one who's clicking very well with Drake May and who looks healthy in camp thus far.
Speaker 1:Yeah, they're looking at a week one start for Stefan Diggs as of right now. Things are looking pretty good for that man, so he was a value, then he'll. He'll start creeping up the draft boards for sure Once. Once people see him healthy on the field catch and passes. But at this time again, we just did the episode. He was one of my steals of the draft, it's just an excellent value for where he's being drafted.
Speaker 1:Yeah, great pick. All right, paul, we've got Josh Allen. You got a bunch of good running backs. You got a tight end. Looking a little thin on receiver there, though, buddy, it's a good thing you locked it down and anchored it with CeeDee Lamb. This is kind of an anchor-receiver strategy which you don't see all the time. So what are you doing here, man?
Speaker 3:Well, now I'm going to start hammering wide receivers, and I'm looking at one that Frankie mentioned, that it doesn't seem to matter who's throwing him the ball, he always gets production, and that's Calvin.
Speaker 1:Ridley. Yeah yeah, great pick, great pick, man. I think he's an. He's also an excellent value. People are scared of him because you know he he didn't quite do what he did in in Atlanta, you know when he was a top five receiver, and you know, going to Tennessee. It's just you know that team's been so bad and with cam ward coming in obviously he's going to be much better, but it's still nerve wracking. I don't think people buy into rookie quarterbacks all the time. So I think you're getting him at a great value. But man, he's the clear one. It's not even close. His target share is going to be absurd this year. So I think it's a great pick.
Speaker 1:All right, I am on the clock here. I have Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase stack with Jonathan Taylor. I have Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase stack with Jonathan Taylor, devante Adams and DK Metcalf. So here's where I start to take a little peek, see if maybe there's a tight end out there. You got Travis Kelsey, mark Andrews, travis Kelsey guys. I do think he's a value. This is the first time I've ever even considered drafting Travis Kelsey just because you can get him in the sixth round.
Speaker 1:You know, let's take a look at running backs here. I still need a running back two. A couple of guys on here I like Judkins is there. Obviously he hasn't even signed yet, probably looking at a suspension as well when he does end up signing. So I'm going to stay away from that at the moment until we get more detail.
Speaker 1:You know, there's one guy on here that I see that could be a workhorse Running back's, getting real thin guys. But I'm going to take this rookie and I can't stop drafting this guy. I just can't stop drafting. It's a rookie, caleb Johnson out of Pittsburgh. I just think he's in an excellent spot. He's going to be, you know, opportunity for serious volume on a team with great defense. A team that runs the ball first will be closing down the games running the ball out, probably putting their cheaper rookie out there to close it out.
Speaker 1:Now the issue I've got is I don't know how confident I'll be with Caleb Johnson starting week one. That's the other problem. So I'm going to have to plan guys and grab somebody a little later, whether it's right now or further down the road somebody I know I can play if I'm a little unsure about Caleb starting the season. Looking through right now, receivers Waddle, addison, godwin not real excited about any of those guys. Brian Robinson at running back Tyrone Tracy not great options there for me guys. I think I'm going to look at an area. I know of somebody. At least early on while we're she rises out. We know these targets are going to be there. I am going to go with Travis Kelsey. He did fall to me. It's a big teardrop for me. I think he's going to bring me more value than what I'd get later from tight end. So I'm going to go there.
Speaker 3:All right, paulul, you're on the clock buddy, all right. Uh, right now I'm looking like I could pick either running back or wide receiver. Uh, judkins, I'm not looking at, I'm not touching him at all, uh, right now. So I was looking kind of roma dunzi. Uh, jacoby myers, but I see somebody that's gonna probably be the number one. He's got a high ankle sprain right now, but he should be ready for week one and I want to kind of get a piece of stacks. I'm gonna go with shakir like that.
Speaker 1:That's a cheap stack that I like, absolutely. Yeah, he's when he's completely healthy. He's just a ppr machine. You've got the quarterback. You might as well take advantage of those targets. Man, I love it. All right, frank, on the turn you got two picks in a row here, going into the seventh and eighth round. Where are you going?
Speaker 2:Yeah, guys. So for me, I'm definitely going to look at running back and receiver. I'm not even thinking about any other position, knowing that there's already been a quarterback drop for me, quarterbacks being Kyler Murray, jared Goff, brock Purdy, justin Herbert. To me, all those guys are kind of in the same realm, so I'm not really worried about it. So, from a receiver perspective, there are quite a few that I'm kind of excited about, one being Jacoby Myers that he landed to me in the back of the eighth or, excuse me, back of the seventh round here. Debo, samuel Cooper Cup. All of those guys are great, but the way that I drafted receivers Stefan Diggs a little bit sketch, right, just in case he gets injured, right. Jerry Judy, like I mentioned, I want a high flyer. That's boom bust. So I want a nice cozy floor and it's Jacoby. I'm going to roll with Jacoby Myers, knowing that I have that opportunity.
Speaker 2:Now, looking at the team, I'm still kind of anchoring on those three running backs, right, and so with that, I do want to sure this up just a smidge more, and what I mean by that is there is one guy here, especially in a PPR, john, we mentioned it there is a coach that we cannot go one episode without talking about, and it's Liam Cohen. So for me I'm actually going to go Travis Etienne and just in case, if he pops off, in case there's an injury or multiple injuries, or, dare I say, ashton Gentry doesn't perform as what. I chose him at that ADP and I need to offset or trade him guys, then I have some ability from what Travis Etienne can provide from a PPR standpoint, knowing this is half PPR, but his catching ability out of the backfield will be paramount for my team. So I'm going to lock in Etienne there.
Speaker 1:I love that. I love that We've talked about it before. He's being slept on. I think I think we could see potentially a reemergence of Travis Etienne catching the ball out of the backfield this year.
Speaker 2:Right, tank's going to be the guy. Tank is probably going to be the guy for the first and second downs. However, man, when you're in a half PPR, full PPR league, there is value to pass catchers yeah.
Speaker 1:Think about Liam Cohen's pass catching running back. Very similar comp last year. Rashad White Running back 20, guys Running back 20. Give Running back 20, guys Running back 20. Give me a Travis Etienne running back 20 season. I'm happy as shit. Yeah, All right, Paul, where are we going here? This is round eight. We've got three picks to go. What are you doing here, man?
Speaker 3:I took Shakir a little earlier than you know his ADP just because I wanted to stack him up and there was another person I was looking that I was hoping would make it back to me and I was looking that I was hoping would make it back to me and he did, and that's Cooper Cup.
Speaker 1:I was hoping you were going to actually pass on that because I saw that and went man, that'd be nice depth on my team, really nice. Yeah, cooper Cup's a great value too. I don't think he's going to stay here in the eighth round, guys, but if you see Cooper Cup in the eighth round, scoop his ass up. I mean, come on no-transcript. Some of the options are, unfortunately, my guy that I wanted to take, ricky Pearsall, taken right in front of me there. I think he's an excellent value. You know there is a teardrop for me here. I am going to take Jaden Reed. I think he's just kind of being forgotten about a little bit too am going to take Jaden Reed. I think he's just kind of being forgotten about a little bit too. He did have a very good season and he's got a very good quarterback and he doesn't have. I know they have Matthew Golden, who's being drafted right in front of him, but he's a rookie and he's a burner. We don't know exactly how he's going to be involved in this offense. As of right now, jaden Reed's still the guy on that offense and that receiving room. So let's see how it goes there.
Speaker 1:All right, for my next pick here, let's take a look at running backs. This is where you maybe take a little shot on a rookie, because I've got a rookie. I'm going to need a little more safety with my next pick with running back. I don't love the pick, but I know the guy's going to start in week one. So if I don't feel great about Caleb Johnson, this is at least a guy I can put out there. Start him in week one or two, then I can switch to Caleb Johnson and then have him as either trade bait or have him as a backup option. It's Ramondre Stevenson. I know he didn't have a great season. I know he had some fumble issues. I know they drafted people on that team in that offense, but uh, he's still the one. He's still the guy. He's still making the amount of money to have to be on the field. So I'm going to give him a shot and use him at least week one until I'm more confident with caleb johnson. All right, paul, where are you going?
Speaker 3:uh, looking at my team, it looks like I'm gonna have to get a little more depth at running back. Um, when I was looking at this uh rookie, I'm not going to need to start him right away so I can see how he does and maybe make some changes, but, um, I'm going to go with Cam Scadabo. Hmm, why not love that.
Speaker 2:Why not, paul? And I really like that because you're all upside there, because you're going to be anchoring that off breeze hall and kenneth walker, but then you're supplementing that with josh allen's, like this is what we talked about too, john, when we were um in the previous episode. Guys, check it out. But whenever you're drafting a dual threat quarterback, like that of lamar jackson, josh allen, they're going to be able to supplement some of the rushing and things of that nature that you might be losing out on. Should you go receiver quarterback and then some of the other receiver receiver from that point, and then you're getting Sam Laporta. So for me, man, why not? Why not go with a super high flyer guy at that point in time and, if you need be, you can always play waiver wire following that?
Speaker 1:Paul, I love that pick. I mean, that's a guy that I have been drafting at the end of my drafts. The reason I did not take him was simply situational. I did not want to have a rookie backing up my rookie that I'm already unsure about. I had to get a veteran presence, a guy I knew was going to start. Otherwise I would have been all over Scataboo. I love him too. Start Otherwise.
Speaker 3:I would have been all over Scataboo. I love him too. Good pick and that's kind of goes with. That's why I picked Kenneth Walker earlier, going with skipping out on Hampton. I went with Walker and then I could choose a rookie later on.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, your team's built because you've got CeeDee Lamb, calvin Ridley, brees Hall, kenneth Walker. You can grab a bunch of rookies at the end of your draft because you're going to feel good about that. Take the upside with the guys you already know who have a high floor. Yeah, great job. All right, frank, rounding us out in round nine and ten. Where are you going, man?
Speaker 2:Yeah, guys. So for me, I need a quarterback tight end. And this is actually super fun because I am absolutely going to take Brock Purdy as my quarterback. And I'll tell you why. Right now, you could take Brock Purdy, caleb Williams, dak Prescott, justin Fields. My personal opinion is I would rather actually have Dak Prescott or Justin Fields, but the reason I took Brock Purdy is because I want double the action, double the fun with the dink off to CMC and now, baby, bring it on back. So I have kind of a stack with CMC and that of Brock Purdy, which only elevates CMC and Brock even more.
Speaker 2:Now, from a tight end perspective, guys, I am in the streaming world, right? So all of these tight ends are pretty much the same. You're looking at Tucker Craft, you have Kincaid, loveland, ferguson Guess who I'm taking? And, yeah, I want him, baby, I want a piece of this shit. I want to be miserable all year long. And take Kyle Pitts. I think, with what we're seeing, he's golfing, he's out there golfing with Michael Penix, we're seeing some cool shit. Why not? Why couldn't this be the year for Kyle Pitts? And again, you absolutely lose nothing because you can stream for the rest of the year, right? So why not? Let's go high flyer baby Lock and load.
Speaker 1:Listen, I've got a hot take. Why would you not take Kyle Pitts as your last pick of your draft?
Speaker 1:Why not, why would you not? It's a contract year for him. Let's just go there. 600 yards, 50, some targets for a tight end, that's fine. Take it as your last pick and you've got upside. I mean, we all understand the upside. We haven't seen the upside yet. But what if you do this year and you draft him in your last pick, why not? You're streaming tight end anyway. Give it two, three weeks, he's not given anything, or just you know same as what we've always seen. You're streaming anyway. Take Kyle Pitts in your last pick, every fucking draft. There's no reason not to. All. Right, paul, last pick of the draft here. Where are you going, man?
Speaker 3:Well, I didn't think this guy was going to drop to me, so my original thoughts was I was going to get some more depth at running back and I was gonna actually go and get Nick Chubb. However, emeka Egbuka is sitting right there, god.
Speaker 1:I hate having you in front of me, Paul.
Speaker 3:Just can't turn it down so good.
Speaker 1:I didn't say a word about that because I was hoping, if you get listen, man, this is another fantastic pick. Chris Godwin guys, is going to be missing some time. He's not going to be healthy starting week one that's coming out. He had a second procedure that we didn't know about. It wasn't really publicized. So, emeka Egbuka he's going to skyrocket up the boards, guys. This ADP has not reflected it yet, but he's going to skyrocket. He has a huge opportunity this year.
Speaker 1:If Godwin's hurt, he gets on the field early in the season. They're not going to pull this guy off the field, I'm telling you, because this guy's a superstar and he can show it early. I'm really excited for a McKay Buka man. Great pick, one of the safest picks that you can absolutely take. I think. Yeah, I didn't believe that a month ago, but now I do. Yeah, all right, so my pick here. You guys just enjoy taking all the guys that I want to take. So thank you very much. Looking at some depth here at receiver, this is a double flex league, so I do want to get enough depth on here. I am going to take a chance on a guy here. Well, there's two guys. Okay, I'm going to do a little. Would you rather here, frank, we got some time.
Speaker 1:Let's do it. Would you rather for you? Frankie, this is your last pick, we've got actually for both of you guys. I love both of your opinions.
Speaker 2:You've got Keon Coleman versus rookie Kyle Williams for New England. What do you think? Me personally, I'm going Keon Coleman right With Cleo Shakur, already a little bit banged up. We've seen Keon Coleman have a disappointing I guess is the best way to say that from a rookie perspective. Last year he has added speed. He's also added muscle size to what he was from last year. So for me I think that this he has a better opportunity to be right, a better overall pick, than that of Kyle Williams. The other reason I say that is look at the room around him. So for Keon Coleman there is Khalil Shakur, but then after that who is there right? I mean sure there's Joshua Palmer.
Speaker 2:They brought in they brought in right. They have Curtis Samuel, they have Dalton Kincaid nobody that really should be taking viable and good targets away from Keon Coleman, because that was their pick last year, their top pick from the 2024 NFL draft. So when you look at then Kyle Williams guys, it's a convoluted room. You have Stefan Diggs If he's healthy he's certainly going to be taking probably the lion's share of the load. But then you have Pop Douglas and Pop Douglas from everybody, from all perspective, he's looking really good at camp. And then you also have Trevion Henderson who's taking a lot of PPR work out of the backfield. And you still have Ramondre Stevenson, john, who you have drafted in the round prior. So I don't know if I'm looking at your team and knowing that you have Ramondre already, I don't know if I want to double dip then with the Patriots from that standpoint. So for me I would actually be leaning Keon Coleman.
Speaker 3:All right, I'm going to piggyback off on that. And just, not only is the receiving room, I think, more convoluted in New England. Who's throwing him the ball you got? Drake May throwing on one side and you got Josh Allen throwing on the other side. I'm going to be, MVP on the day of the week.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I'm with you on that. I mean that really is. I think it's splitting hairs. But I think you're absolutely right. I mean everything you said. Frankie's spot on and Paul, if you can't decide and it's a coin toss go with the better quarterback play.
Speaker 1:Go with the better quarterback play. This is a guy who can get him the ball more consistently and more often, so I love it. Yeah, I'm going to go with Keon Coleman. What I'm hoping here, paul, is that you have an issue with Shakir and then I'll be able to trade you, keon Coleman, so you can have that stack with Josh Allen, all right. So round 11 here.
Speaker 1:Taking a look, I've got some receiver depth. We can look at Rashid Shahid. We got Trey Harris, the rookie for the Chargers. I'm interested in him. Luther Burden's a little interesting as well. Look at their burdens a little interesting as well. Um, look at some running back depth here. Rashad white tank bixby. Jayden blue, rico dowd. I mean, this is kind of where we are at this point, guys, as we're looking at some of these backups and these, these kind of convoluted backfields, um. So I'm going to look at this. Actually, I'm going to take a flyer on rashid shaheed.
Speaker 1:I don't think there's a lot of competition in that receiver room right now. There is some competition with quarterback. It looks like Spencer Rattler at the moment is number one on the depth chart. I don't really care who the quarterback is. They're going to be hitting this guy. This is a flyer towards the end of your draft, trying to look for some gold, and we know Rashid Shahid is one of those boom bus guys that can bring you home two touchdowns in a game, help you win a week potentially, so I'm going to go with him. All right, paul. What are you doing here, buddy?
Speaker 3:Well, as I said, last time I was looking at Nick Jeff and it came around to me and he's still there, so it's a pretty easy decision for me. Especially with Mixon banged up and Damian Pierce banged up, he might have a chance to start week one.
Speaker 1:He does. That's a tough backfield too, because every day there's different news coming out of there, you know. So, yeah, get a piece of it and see how it ends up. Man, yeah, good call, all right, frankie, two picks in a row here. You've got round 10 or, I'm sorry, around 11 and 12. Where are you going?
Speaker 2:Yeah. So this one's easy guys Just adding to the depth. From a running back perspective, I want to sure up that Jaguars running back room. Why not? Because if an injury happens, something like that, either of these guys skyrocket. So I'm going to lock in Tank Bigsby and feel really, really good about that running back room. And then, from a receiver perspective, guys, he is absolutely being slept on. His ADP does not reflect it. And if you can get the opportunity to snag this guy late, do it. It's Keenan Allen. He just signed a one-year deal with the Chargers. He's going back there knowing right. The Chargers aren't bringing on Keenan Allen just to sit on the bench. This is a guy that is still a top-tier route runner. And so when you pair that with Laddie, when you pair that with potentially, trey Harris or KLS, right, and then you have that of now Keenan Allen, I absolutely love this and I can get that with absolutely nothing from a risk perspective. So I'm firing up Keenan Allen.
Speaker 1:All right, all right, I love that. Get that geriatric team on going on. You know you're going to get shit on YouTube for that.
Speaker 2:Oh, I know.
Speaker 1:I like my old guys.
Speaker 3:All right, paul, you got two picks to go here, man well, I like how, uh, frankie did shore up the jacksonville, uh, running backs. I was hoping he wouldn't get it. Get the handcuff for cmc and just with him being hurt so much, I I'm going to get the hand cut for CMC and Isaac Arenda.
Speaker 1:That's a great move. Isaac Arenda will be drafted in every single league, whether you have CMC or not. Yeah, somebody's going to be screwing the CMC owner with that, I guarantee it. I love it. All right, I need some running back depth here, guys. I'm going to take a shot on a guy. I think need some, uh, running back depth here, guys. I'm gonna take a shot on a guy. I think, uh, the cleveland browns backfield really just as bad at the moment, uh as uh their quarterback room, to be perfectly it really is quinshawn judkins probably looking at he would have been the one not signed currently also going to be dealing with a suspension.
Speaker 1:We're not going to know that, guys, until very late uh, possibly into the season. We may not even know that, guys, until very late, possibly into the season. We may not even know that. So they're pretty late on these suspensions anymore. Jerome Ford right now is listed as the one We've seen. Jerome Ford, guys, he's a jag, he's just a guy really. I'm going to take a shot on Dylan Sampson, the rookie that they brought in. I think was he fourth round, frankie that they drafted Dylan Sampson. Dylan Sampson, the rookie that they brought in, I think was he fourth round.
Speaker 2:Frankie that they drafted Dylan Sampson, Dylan, that is correct.
Speaker 1:Yeah, fourth round running back. There's value there. This is a guy that they can bring on. He's going to be a third down back likely. He's going to catch some passes and he's got burst. We know Jerome Ford has no burst, so I think we'll be excited to see Dylan Sampson on the field and I'm hoping it pays off for me. All right, for my last pick here. I want to take a look at a flyer. Actually, you know what I am going to take. We talked about it in my last round. I almost took this guy and I am going to take him this time. It's Kyle Williams, the rookie receiver for new England. When you have a, would you rather, and you can't decide, and you take one of them and then you can get the other one on the swing on the return back best-case scenario, so I love it. All right, paul. Final pick.
Speaker 3:All right, looking at my team, I'm pretty well. I've done pretty well overall. I could go running back with Benson or Algier, but I think I'm going to go over to a wide receiver. Get one more, a little more depth, and I'm going to go with Rashad Bateman good pick, good pick in the last round, really good.
Speaker 1:Dude really came on in the end of the season last year. Man sure got it, got himself a big contract. I mean this, this, this is a solid piece on this. Uh, baltimore ravens offense man, absolutely all right frank, bringing up the rear, just like you love it. What do you see back there?
Speaker 2:that's right, man. So I'm looking at from a running back perspective, algier uh, you could do right. You could do do Blake Corum, brashard Smith, you could also go receiver, there's plenty of depth. Guys, I'm really deciding between Josh Palmer, demario Douglas, but you know what? I'm going to shift gears completely. I'm actually going to go running back. Why not? It's Braylon Allen If there's an opportunity to get a piece of a starting backfield, and guys, I can use that as trade bait. If he goes off or Brees Hall doesn't perform or something happens to Brees Paul, I'm going to be coming to you, buddy, and we're going to be maybe working something out. So, guys, be thinking about that as well, especially in your last picks. Think about guys that are tradable assets that you can bundle together a two for one, a three for one, as we like to call a Frankie special. Sometimes it's a good, sometimes it's not right, but most of the time it's.
Speaker 1:A big turd is what it is.
Speaker 2:But at least one happens a year and I'll tell you what and it's usually pretty fun. So guys think about that. For your last flyers, get something of value.
Speaker 1:Guys, advice for people who play with Frankie in fantasy football leagues. By the way, always decline the first offer.
Speaker 2:It's always going to be garbage. You got to have a starting point.
Speaker 1:You got to have a starting point you build Well, your. Your starting point is always very insulting, just so you know. So I'm coming into the trade negotiations already, fucking pissed off. Just so you know that, okay.
Speaker 3:There you go. He's first trade is like you go to the Lexus dealership and say I'll give you $20 and a peanut butter sandwich for this.
Speaker 2:That's right For a brand new Lexus like brand spanking new.
Speaker 1:And he's like what? It's a starting place. Okay, we'll find we'll meet somewhere in the middle, We'll counter.
Speaker 2:If you want something, counter, you know. Let me know when you start in the basement.
Speaker 1:Frankie, everywhere's meeting. In the middle there's nowhere to go but up, that's right, oh God, yeah, the trade something-ist is what I would call you, but it'd probably get us flagged on YouTube, so I'm not going to say it.
Speaker 3:There you go, yes, but yes, yes in quotations.
Speaker 1:Frankie, yes, I do love how you guys kind of you know. Nice response for getting pissed off at Paul for taking your handcuff by taking Paul's handcuff as well, paul's handcuff as well. Fucking Paul. You want to swap handcuffs guys. That's where you get some side deals going on in your draft. You're about eight beers deep and you start swapping picks before it's even loaded in the system.
Speaker 2:Shout out Dennis McGlone. He has done it. We're already working trades. You know what I mean? Oh yeah, Love that.
Speaker 1:We got some psychos in our leagues, man, yeah, all right, let's take a look really quick here at our teams. We'll take a quick look at mine here. Quarterback Joe Burrow, stacked him up at Jamar Chase. Also have Devante Adams, dk Metcalf, jaden Reed, keon Coleman, rashid Shahid and Kyle Williams. I really like the depth of my receivers. All the way down the board Didn't have to make any weird decisions or weird strategy pools on this one. I like all of these guys. These are guys I can plug in even the last two picks. Guys that I can plug in if I need them. Absolutely love it. And a double flex. It's important to have really good receiver depth guys and a half point PPR running backs. Jonathan Taylor took a chance because I took Burrow and three receivers.
Speaker 1:I knew I was going to be short on that running back two Typically guys. I always play that running back two carousel though Between injuries, bye weeks and things you're always looking for running backs. I'm definitely going to have to play the waiver wire, but backing it up with Caleb Johnson Ramondre, who I don't love guys, believe me, he's typically off my board. I had to make that pick because of the Caleb Johnson pick. Now, if Caleb Johnson's great. I'll probably use Ramondre as a way to package a deal together or something to try to trade, you know, and then Dylan Sampson as a flyer back there as well.
Speaker 1:So the one thing I don't love about my team and Travis Kelsey a tight end, by the way the one thing I don't love is the depth at running back. I mean, I'm just kind of I'm an old school guy man, I'm a Gen Xer. I, you know I'm used to loading up on running backs and having trade bait and all that kind of stuff, but it's a piece you're going to play on the waiver wire. You're going to see RB2s emerge. These backfields of these teams with two and three running backs, they'll start to consolidate a little bit, whether it's through injury or just performance. There'll be guys available that I can be able to grow. Any comments, guys, on my team?
Speaker 2:John, and those for listening and viewing and checking it out. Yes, we are going to get shit. I understand that Jamar Chase fell to three Guys. There's nothing we can do. Sometimes that will happen. The consensus is Jamar Chase is 101, guys. There's nothing we can do. Sometimes that will happen. The consensus is Jamar Chase is 101,. Right, let's just call it what it is.
Speaker 2:But if he does fall, there might be homers that are like no, I absolutely love Saquon. It doesn't matter. Look at what he did last year. He's my guy and a half PPR. There also might be players that are doing the same thing with Bijan. They might be from Atlanta, right, whatever that may be. So, guys, johnny did, did, and I know it's gonna come, john, just so we all know this right. So just know we're doing what it happens from the draft board now, with that being said, if Jamar Chase drops at three, I mean, yes, that's who you're taking, and same difference with you know if, if you can get burrow at three, round three, excuse me, yeah, people are gonna be like well, john, you reached a little bit.
Speaker 2:Honestly, I fucking love this team. I really do. I love this team from a perspective of if Jamar Chase does drop, if you can get Burrow and have that stack, if you can anchor your running backs on Jonathan Taylor and you can supplement the receivers for that lack of running back. I mean your starting receivers are Jamar Chase, devontae Adams, dk Metcalf and Jaden Reed. That includes your flex spots. That's fantastic. And then all you need to do is layer in then your RB2, which by all means it could absolutely be Caleb Williams. So for me, I really like how this team was constructed. It gives me a lot of insight for what you can expect drafting potentially from that pick spot, even if you take away Jamar Chase. Look at how else this was created, guys, and it will give you ideas for what, what to come from your picks.
Speaker 1:Absolutely, and I would have shifted had.
Speaker 3:Jamar.
Speaker 1:Chase was gone, it would have probably been a decision between Barkley Bajon or CD lamb. So I would have gone there and then I wouldn't have gone with burrow there, because I'm only reaching for Burrow for the stack, typically, typically. So that way my team would have looked very different. But I'm sorry, hey, if Jamar Chase is there, I'm taking him. You're doing it? Yeah, absolutely All right. Let's take a look at Paul's team here. Ultimate Wolf Lay it out for us, brother.
Speaker 3:Well, you know, cd Lamb was kind of easy. He's been going way before six. That was kind of an easy pick for me, especially with Jay Jetta's quarterback situation there. Josh Allen, no brainer, I mean, he's won me a league before. He's been the top quarterback in fantasy for a while. And then I had to short some. So my running backs Brees Hall, kenneth Walker are great. I've got some nice high floors for them. And then I went all wide receivers. So you know I have Scadabo, chubb and Garendo at the end. So I'm a little light on running back. But I do like my wide receivers in Lamb Ridley, shakir, abuka and Bateman. I've got a couple on there that they could go off at the beginning of the season. I can trade for another good running back Because if you're looking at Team 2 and Team 5, you've got a Sean Hickey up there taking five running backs in the first six rounds or four running backs in the first four rounds. You get four weeks into the season and one of his Wide receivers goes down and all of his running backs Might be able to do Little trades here and there.
Speaker 3:Sam Laporta, I think He'll do better. I just didn't think it was too early For Hawkinson and I didn't think Hawkinson Was going to make it back around. So that's why I just you know, with Laporta, because you know for Laporta and Hawkinson and I didn't think Hawkinson was going to make it back around. So that's why I just you know, with the Laporta, cause they're, you know sure, laporta and Hawkinson and Kelsey, it's kind of a teardrop. So other than you know, I'm light on my running back depth. I really liked my team.
Speaker 2:Paul, the one thing from my perspective is that the two biggest picks on your team, in my personal opinion, would be Mecca Buka at round 10 and then Nick Chubb in round 11. And the reason being is because, with Chris Godwin potentially going to be missing a few weeks, guys, what we're hearing out of camp is a Mecca Buka is the guy he is. He's incredible. Like Teddy Bridgewater walks in off the street and couldn't even believe who this dude was, and then right is incredible, like Teddy Bridgewater walks in off the street and couldn't even believe who this dude was, and then right. And then you hear all the stuff that always clicking in and out of his routes with that of Baker Mayfield and how he's absolutely a top tier receiver, potentially already in this league, whatever that means. That's up to you to decide, but that is what we're hearing. So, to get him at that particular point, knowing that he could absolutely be there in case Khalil Shakur still rolls in with some banged up ankles and things like that, I love that. But then Nick Chubb, he is more than likely guys going to start the season.
Speaker 2:What we're hearing from Joe Mixon is yeah, he's hurt and he's not feeling super great. And then there's more information coming out about Nick Chubb being Derek Henry-like in terms of being over 30 and still producing Like Derek Henry's kind of given the blueprint on this, though it's very few and far between right. We don't typically see 30-plus-year-old running backs continue to perform at the level of DH has been, but with that said, nick Chubb has every ability. So if Nick Chubb pops off, I mean Paul, and knowing that Joe Mix is coming back now, you can even package together maybe Brees Hall or Nick Chubb to even get an Ashen Gentee or somebody along those lines to even sure up even further. So for me, man, I think this was really cool from those draft points, but also showing what it's like to draft Josh Allen in the second, because you lose a ton of value on other positions but you're gaining it back from the overarching point differential for quarterback. So for me, man, I think this was a really really cool draft strategy and exciting to see.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I, like you, did get really good receivers at the end of the draft there with Cooper, cup, egbuka and Bateman. So you were set there. And this is all in hindsight. It's hard to see this while you're drafting. But one thing I think I would have done that would have made me really love this team a little bit more instead of Laporta, you could have taken a shot with RJ Harvey, just because I think his upside could be sick. It would have made you feel better about your running backs too. But then I would have come back later.
Speaker 1:In the Scataboo pick you could have looked at a Zach Charbonnet and that would have locked in your Seattle backfield. Kenneth Walker is not the pillar of health, as we all know, and Charbonnet looks damn good. All the reports coming out are saying that he just looks awesome. So to be able to grab both of them, I think what it just made you feel so much better about your running back room, with the upside of RJ Harvey as well, and then you could have come back in. You know, in that Scadaboo pick there you could have even grabbed Tyler Warren instead of Laporta four rounds later, you know. So, yeah, I mean, obviously that's in hindsight you don't know what's going to come. You don't know that you're going to be safe and sound with a B and Cooper Cup. You know in rounds, you know what nine, 10, 11. So, but yeah, love that man. That's why we do these, so we can practice. So it's beautiful. All right, frankie, break it down for us. What's your team look like here, man?
Speaker 2:Yeah, guys. So draft in again 12 team PPR or half PPR, excuse me. So right, you got to be reaching a little bit. Throw ADP out the window. But I absolutely love having the ability to go Gentee CMC, pairing that with Kamara Tank, bigsby, travis Etienne and Braylon Allen I mean talk about a stable of running backs. This is where my team is going to be anchored.
Speaker 2:Now again, there's certainly some risk here. Right, I love Garrett Wilson. But outside of Garrett Wilson, guys, there's a few question marks at receiver. Right, jerry Judy, boom bust. We've seen that, but he did perform inside the top 20 last year. Stefan Diggs I mean a big question mark here, but everything coming out, as long as he stays healthy, he's looking really solid. And then Jacoby Myers with a really nice floor. And then Keenan Allen again another big question mark, but I love the value where you can get him.
Speaker 2:So, knowing that if the viewers listening and watching end up going running back, running back, you're going to have to play the field here a little bit. Knowing that you got it, are you going to go receiver? And if so, that fourth round pick is where you need to make the decision, because you're more than likely going to go receiver in round three because the top quarterbacks are going to be off the board at that point in time. So you're not going to really go quarterback, but then you're going to probably lock in that receiver. But round four, do you choose to go with another running back, knowing that you have potentially a floundering? Ashton Jensey as a rookie? There's potential for that. I don't think so. I don't think that will happen, but there's always potential. And then CMC, who we've seen is very injury prone. So right, you could go receiver receiver, bolster that. Now you're looking at Garrett Wilson with Devontae Adams, and then you end up peppering in instead of Judy. There I mean shit. Now you're taking Aaron Jones right. And so the difference between Aaron Jones with the Devontae Adams versus that of an Alvin Kamara and a Judy, that's what you need to be thinking about.
Speaker 2:So for me, man, I really do think that this was a fun strategy. Will this be what I actually draft? I'm not sure. I'm not sure because a receiver does make me a little bit nervous and I'll be quite honest with you, I hate drafting at the back half of this draft, after seeing your guys' teams and things of that nature, how you guys can maneuver a little bit more. It's kind of like in pick 12, you're in a bit of purgatory because you have to make these really strong decisions without having any idea if the ADP is going to match up on the way back. So but overall I think this was really fun. I do love Kyle Pitts guys. I love that pick. If you're streaming a tight end, take a flyer on them. Why wouldn't you? I mean, this is the year, out of all the years we say this, this is the year. And then again pairing Brock Purdy with CMC. Right, you're going to be streaming QB at that point anyways. Why not go for a double dip?
Speaker 1:Let me ask you this, Frank Instead of the Kamara pick, would you like your team more if you took Marvin Harrison Jr?
Speaker 2:You know it was deciding between Mike Evans and that of Kamara and the only reason why I went Kamara was because CMC still makes me nervous. I am nervous about CMC, so in case of injury, that's why I went running back. But yeah, you could make the argument that your team does look a little bit better, drafting Mike Evans or Marv or Devante, fill in the gap there, whoever you choose, and then coming back around and getting an Aaron Jones or somebody, or David Monty or somebody like that who, yeah, you're not really going to use them then in a flex piece uh, more than likely, but they're there still as a depth piece. So it's kind of six one way, half dozen the other, but for me I would lean still Kamara.
Speaker 1:Well, and what happens, though? When you're looking at this strategy and you take three running backs in your first four picks, you're almost guaranteed you have to punt on quarterback and tight end. Definitely, you almost have to, because then you're going to start freaking out at receiver. Otherwise, if you're taking a quarterback in that fifth, sixth round tight end as well, you're going to hate your team with your receivers. I mean, yeah, you could get lucky and target a Cooper Cup at the end, a Stephon Diggs like you did, guys like that but it'll make you nervous. If you don't hit those guys, you're going to be really unhappy. So yeah, you've had the experience to know that. So you knew you had to punt. Man, I love it. All right guys. Thank you very much. That is the mock draft for the day. Thank you again, paul. Excellent drafting. I love. All three of us draft very differently, so I think that showed some people some good stuff there. It's a great job, frankie. What do we have coming up here, brother?
Speaker 2:Guys, we're going to be dropping multiple mock drafts in the next weeks to come. We've been telling you about it. It's coming, it's here. Keep sending us requests.
