Welcome to the bevy podcast. I'm hired Howard, your host here on the bevy. We have fun, thoughtful conversations with friends. Pull a seat up to the table Yo what's up in his day, 11 of the gratitude challenge. Welcome. Welcome. Welcome back. So I absolutely love this season. This season that we call spring, but particularly this Twilight. It was spring before we're into summer. But. Where we're still firmly in spring. And I love it because growing up, I have so many fun memories. Of the season. Let me just start. The weather. Always absolutely gorgeous. So I grew up down south and it gets really, really, really hot there during the summer. It gets hot muggy, and this is the season where. No mosquitoes yet and no humidity. So that is a blessing and of itself. Another reason why I love the season is that some of my best friends in the world. We're all born. Roughly. In. Late may a lot of them. And I know Jim, nice have a reputation. I, I could see where you're going with that. I have seen the reports. I know that astrology is making a resurgence. And if you haven't seen those reports, check them out. They're like all over. The internet, the webs. You could find it, but anyways, I digress. Some of my best friends had their birthdays during this time. And it was always so much fun. to celebrate. Their birthdays. Which leads me to my third thing. The end of school. Yes, the end of school. Admittedly. I love. School. I love being a student. I love learning. I was so much fun. To look forward to this. And particularly as you got older, something I really appreciate it were. The commencements, you know, The grand celebrations that we have. People who have worked. Over the course of years. To celebrate them. And their achievement. And that. For me. Every year when I see the commencement and, you know, you see, or someone like sends you some commencement video, that's like super inspirational and it makes you feel really good. It just, as a reminder, To me of how I should think about. My life in a sense that. Commencement is a regular. Rhythm. Of life. And by that, I mean, We are all on this journey of life. And at different points. In that journey. We move from one space to another space. Sometimes those moves are minor. Sometimes they are major. Sometimes it is going to a new city. Sometimes it's going to a new school. Sometimes it's going to a new job. Maybe it's moving back somewhere, but there's a fluidity. That is taking place and. That. Is a commencement. It is starting an inaugurating, a new chapter. And I think it's good to remember that wherever you find yourself on life's. Journey that there are new beginnings. New horizons. New start fresh starts. For you. Because sometimes we can become so. Engross with this idea that. Well, there's nothing else out there for me now. No. No, no. There are new. Beginnings happening all the time. Each day is a new beginning. This, really crystallizes. How we should be thinking and bring this commencement mindset into our daily lives, into our daily rhythms, into our work, into our relationships, into our community commitments. So, yeah, let's celebrate. This commencement season. What are you looking forward to? Moving from, and to. What do you want to take with you? What do you want to leave behind? And who. Do you want. To take with you and who. Do you want to encounter? I look forward to meeting in this next season. So that is what I have for you today. My gratitude. Again, love y'all. Thank you for all the support. Oh yes. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. For getting this podcast to 2,500 downloads. That is simply amazing. And it's because of you. I can't. Thank you enough. Huge shout out to all our guests. Y'all I am. I'm grateful for you. Until next time. Peace.
