Gratitude Day 14: The Power and Significance of Your Name

It's the gratitude challenge. Day 14. Welcome back. How are you doing today? Well, I hope. Really while I hope. And if you're not feeling well, that's okay too. Their space for that. And sometimes you have to create a space. For whatever. And however it is, you're feeling. Well, let me just jump right into my gratitude for today. Which is names. Names are powerful. Names carry weight. Names are. An affirmation. So, what do I mean? Not too long ago. I was at an event and as part of the icebreaker and it's like this. The person facilitating the event. Had everyone go around in the group. And say their name, but there was a twist. We had to not only say our name, but explain the meaning behind it. And. And I tell you it was powerful. By people sharing the meaning and significance behind their name. You were able to learn so much more about a person where they had come from their family. Where their family had been i mean it was so insight. Sightful And sure. There were some people who've had no idea. How they came to be named. What they have been named. But even in those stories, there was still a reflection. Of the character. The person now, city. That that person had come to hold. That was tied in some way to their name. So I'll give you an example. My name. Hyatt, Marcel Howard. Hyatt. Is. An English name, but it also has an Arabic link. Link. In Arabic, the name means life. Marcel. It's a French name means. Warrior. And Howard. English name. It means Braveheart. So you connected all together, wife. Warrior. Braveheart. Pretty neat. Right. I'm so grateful. For. My name. Because when I hear my name, People are saying an affirmation. To me. Whether they realize it or not. That there was a deeper meaning that they are speaking the significance and the life behind the name. When they say. Hyatt marcel howard they are saying. Warrior. They are saying Braveheart. And so when we think about our names, when you think about your name, What do you hear? Do you hear. The deeper meaning behind it. Do you hear those words? That align that, speak to that tie, that resonate with your true nature, your true self. How is it? That the name you hold. Interacts with. The name, maybe you have been calling yourself. Right. So often we have these negative thoughts and feelings and attitudes and perceptions. Rattling around in our brain. Calling us names. That are not. Our name. And it's true. Not only internally, but sometimes externally, there are sometimes people, places. And things. That brand us with a name that is not our name. So I would encourage you today. If you haven't ever looked into the meaning of your name before. Look it up. Figure out what it means. And once you figure out what it means. Spend some time. Thinking when someone calls your name. What are they calling you? You know, insert what the name means. It will be positive. For you. It will be an affirmation exercise at heart. Whether from friends, fans, foes, or whomever. Whenever they say your name they will be affirming you because you know what your name means That's what I have for you today. Until next time peace Peace
