Hello and welcome to Circula Parks podcast episode number 193. Today we are each choosing a land in each Walt Disney World park and what attraction we would ride and eat in that land.

Speaker 1:And what food we would eat. In that land. There is far too much to see and do. We are here to help guide you through, but before we do that, we must talk Disney merch. One to break your week up as you're listening to this, if you're listening to us, when you're running, walking, walking the dogs, like we do on your break from work or in the car with your family. Speaker 1:Talk about things that we like to do and this is going to be a fun episode yes not really informative, but we're just having fun having fun and all about walt disney world park yes, and we have a awesome, awesome, awesome announcement midway through the show.
Speaker 2:We'll get to that in a little bit, though. Yes, yes, all right, so we're going to get into this one land in each park, one attraction and food but it has to be from that same land in the same land. Yes, what are you going to pick? We're going to start off with magic kingdom, britney. Where are you going? I picked adventure land did not see that coming. Okay, why did you pick adventure land?
Speaker 1:well, it came down really to the food choices okay, now it's starting to make sense. Yeah uh, if it was just strictly land itself, probably not, but with the other things we're talking about, it came down to food choices, and that became a little tough for me too, because there's two that I really like here, but since we could only pick one, I chose. Then. I chose Dole Whip.
Speaker 2:Okay, so you're eating at the Aloha Isle, correct? You can eat at Aloha Isle, okay.
Speaker 1:And the reason why I went with Dole Whip, because I know there's other areas in Walt Disney World that you can get Dole Whips. However, here they have the Coconut Pineapple Swirl and that one is my favorite Coconut Pineapple Swirl, and that one is my favorite. The coconut kind of balances out that tart pineapple taste and just gives it a more creamy, not relaxing flavor. But I don't know, it's just not as tart, it just balances it out really well. So that is why I went with Adventureland Dull Whip as my food Again the Coconut Pineapple Swirl, with Adventureland Dole Whip as my food Again the Coconut Pineapple Swirl. Can I share what my other one that I was debating?
Speaker 2:on was what attraction are you doing? Well, hold on while we're on food. Okay, share, all right.
Speaker 1:The other food I was debating on was the Spring Roll Cart.
Speaker 2:Technically not in Adventureland. It's right there. It is outside the Adventureland sign.
Speaker 1:Well, when you look it up, they say Adventureland, it is more in the hub in Main Street, USA area. It's borderline right there at both I'm throwing a flag.
Speaker 2:It is not in Adventureland.
Speaker 1:Well, when you look into it online, they say Adventureland.
Speaker 2:They are online and they are wrong anyway, but that was my. I was debating between those two, but don't whip for the win in my coconut pineapple I'm surprised you didn't go with main street usa in the hub and then in adventure.
Speaker 1:I'm surprised you did not go with the skipper canteen restaurant yeah okay, all right, which I love, skipper canteen, don't get me wrong so you can eat dole whips all day long?
Speaker 2:no, it's, this is all day. This is what you're doing all day I didn't know that that's what we thought this is. We're spending the day there no, I did not know that okay. Well, mine, mine, are gonna be completely different than yours when we discussed this.
Speaker 1:we never said all day, it was just like if you had to pick and you can only go to one.
Speaker 2:I'm assuming this is what you're doing. Okay, all right, mine are going to be. This is going to be very different than mine, anyway what attraction are you riding?
Speaker 1:Well, since it's an adventure land, I picked Pirates.
Speaker 2:That's a good one, yeah, nice. Yeah, it's you know I would have picked Pirates too.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it's fun. It's a longer ride, you know.
Speaker 2:Takes some time. It can be relaxing a little bit it can be.
Speaker 1:I mean, I always get splashed with the cannonballs, but it can be relaxing. You know, if you're there in the summer, it gets you out of that heat. So if this truly is an all day thing, yes, I could write it all day.
Speaker 2:All right. Well, now that this episode has completely just gone off the rails about what we thought we were doing.
Speaker 1:You're all about communication and that was not communicating. Okay Well.
Speaker 2:I was under the impression we're spending the whole day here. All right, so we're in the Magic Kingdom. I'm going to my favorite land in the Magic Kingdom and going to go to Tomorrowland. Now, tomorrowland can be a little much during the day, right?
Speaker 1:It can be, yes, it can be with everything going on.
Speaker 2:That's why you have the Tomorrowland Terrace. You can go and just chill.
Speaker 1:Okay.
Speaker 2:You don't get any food there. It's like a nice chill place, right.
Speaker 1:So that's your attraction.
Speaker 2:No, that's not an attraction. That's your attraction. No, that's not an attraction, that's just a sit down place Okay. My attraction is Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover. Oh yes, you can just go there and just chill and ride all day. Ride all day. They need you know, like the Brazilian steakhouses.
Speaker 1:You can turn like the tops.
Speaker 2:Green or red if you wanted more food, or not? Right, they need one for this, like green if you're staying on, red if you're getting off and you just stay on there.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that would be nice.
Speaker 2:That would be nice and since excuse me allergies in. Tennessee are no joke. All day. I'm going to go eat at Cosmic Ray Starlight Cafe. Okay, because you get great entertainment. You get Sunny Eclipse right. Yes, erica, I love Sunny entertainment. You got sunny eclipse right. Yes, erica, I love sunny eclipse. And they have a great menu. They do. They have a very wide menu. You can get the chicken tenders. You can get great burgers able to pick one food not like a restaurant.
Speaker 2:This is where I'm eating at, but multiple meals, multiple different well, if I'm there all day, I'm gonna be eating multiple meals you did not communicate this so I'm eating at Cosmic Ray Starlight Cafe. Okay, burgers, chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders yeah, that's what I'm doing.
Speaker 1:Okay, had I known about the all day thing, then, yes, I probably would have picked Skipper Canteen, because there are several items on the menu that are delicious that I could have for like lunch and dinner, and they have a dessert menu and everything too, and then my appetizer would have been Ponte Casio.
Speaker 2:Ponte Casio. Thank you, eleni. Yeah, so we're going to have two different episodes in the same episode, aren't we? It's alright, we're already off the rails.
Speaker 1:I'll say it the way I did it, and then I'll just do mine and we'll just keep rolling.
Speaker 2:All right, we're having fun. Yeah, all right. Moving on to hollywood studios, britney, where are you going to spend your day?
Speaker 1:if it's an all-day thing, I honestly thought like okay, not like park hopping or anything, but like you're there, you're dropping in. Where are you gonna go? And you can only pick one.
Speaker 2:That's how I took it. You're doing the pop-in yeah okay, you're doing, you're popping in.
Speaker 1:You can only do one thing in each land, yes, or in the land and get one, and you'll understand why I'm saying it's just a pop-in for what I picked okay, all right, because I don't think I could be in this land I'm excited to hear this so the pop-in would have been toy story land in hollywood studios, that's why I was like I wouldn't be in there all day.
Speaker 2:You have fun with that place all day, no, but just that's an adventure you know, hop it in there.
Speaker 1:Toy story land attraction would be toy story mania, or Pew Pew as our youngest calls it. That's a good attraction, I like it. And the food you know. Quick, easy in and out. Well, sometimes, as long as you do mobile, order Woody's Lunchbox and I was going to go like as a snacky and do tachos.
Speaker 2:So you can do tachos all day though.
Speaker 1:Yeah, because they do have a breakfast.
Speaker 2:They have a breakfast tacho. Yeah, ok, all right, you can do that all day. Yeah, makes sense.
Speaker 1:But if I'm truly at Hollywood Studios all day, I don't think I can be in Toy Story Land all day.
Speaker 2:So here's my problem with Toy Story Land.
Speaker 1:Andy's mom, if you're listening why could you not plant trees in the backyard? Oh yeah, Come on. Yeah, because it is very sunny throughout that land.
Speaker 2:You can't tell me they did have trees in the backyard. You can't tell me Andy's backyard didn't have trees. Come on, put some trees in Andy's backyard, it would make a huge difference.
Speaker 1:Because it is hot back there. Yeah, they need some more shade, and you?
Speaker 2:get everybody screaming and yelling and all yeah, it is hot and they like funnel you in there. It is not a lot of walking room.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Especially when the queues get backed up for Midway. Mania Slinky Dog. And then you got the Woody and not Bo Peep. Woody, and what's her name? Bo Peep the?
Speaker 1:meet and greet Jesse.
Speaker 2:Yeah, because it's all kind of like in that area right there. You know what I mean.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2:It is crowded it is, so I'm not spending all day there. No, I'll pop in and walk through there to go where I'm going to go spend the day and night, because this you can do.
Speaker 1:You could.
Speaker 2:Galaxy's Edge. Mm-hmm. Spend it all day and the evening in Galaxy's Edge because it's large.
Speaker 1:It is.
Speaker 2:And it can be peaceful.
Speaker 1:At times.
Speaker 2:Certain areas can be peaceful and you can kind of live your own Star Wars story. You can either go with the Resistance or you can go with the First Order.
Speaker 1:You got two sides there right, Right or you can be neutral and just hang out in the market. You could Market's pretty cool.
Speaker 2:Market's cool For the attraction I'm doing rise of resistance good one, good one, you know it's. It's a good, not really chill, but it's rewritable yeah I did not choose the smugglers run because I would be my luck. I'd get stuck at like gunner or engineer and the pilots would mess it up and I would get so mad because we've only. The only time we've gotten two things of coaxium was when I was one of the pilots okay and we were, with other families, horrible.
Speaker 2:I just want to scream at him come on, what are you doing?
Speaker 1:be nice fly better, do better and then we get with my little kids yeah, they can be better.
Speaker 2:I I'm joking people, I know?
Speaker 1:Yes, he is. All right, but he is right about when we've come back with two.
Speaker 2:Yeah, you're welcome and for food. I'm going to eat all day at Docking Bay 7. Docking Bay 7 is in Galaxy's Edge, great menu. My favorite thing is the indorian fried chicken tip. Yep, it's crispy fried chicken with macaroni and cheese. Now, this is not the chicken tenders. They use chicken thighs for this, so it's much juicier, a lot better flavor. Very, very delicious. But you can get beef. This is where you can get your rato wraps as well. They got a lot of drink options here, a good variety of food to eat on all day long, right, and it's a very cool, just chill place to go in there and hang out. Really really like it, yeah, yeah. Speaker 1:So epcot it said for a land. I narrowed it down even more to not just world showcasecase but a particular country.
Speaker 2:Yeah, we're completely different on this one, All right continue, and I did France. That's a good one. I really did think about France.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Really did. What deterred me was it is so crowded.
Speaker 1:there it is crowded, but in this I was not thinking about crowds.
Speaker 2:Okay.
Speaker 1:And just if I had it my way, how it would be.
Speaker 2:Okay, I love the music there, I love the attractions, I love the restaurants there. Yeah, it's a good one to pick. I could spend all day, minus the crowds. I could spend all day in France.
Speaker 1:Right, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2:So the attraction I picked is remy's ratatouille adventure now I would have to have some breaks in between. Right, you can't ride that back to back to back to back to back. You gotta take breaks in there.
Speaker 1:Yeah, because you know it's 40 all that with the glasses and stuff. But it is a fun ride. Very, very cute it is and we watched ratatouille, remy's.
Speaker 2:We watched ratatouille excuse me, a few days ago. I forgot how really good that movie is.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and how close the ride is in some of the scenes to the movie.
Speaker 2:Yes, I was like oh yeah, that's yeah, I forgot about that. That's just like the ride, yeah.
Speaker 1:The food. Now my specific food I picked quiche, Lorraine, You're eating quiche all day. Well, that was when I thought it was just a pop-in.
Speaker 2:Okay, you go with you.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that's when I thought it was just a pop-in. So I'm not going to eat quiche all day, I'd be stuffed.
Speaker 2:I always think of Robin Williams. You call this quiche.
Speaker 1:All right.
Speaker 2:Old reference there. Yeah, very old Old joke.
Speaker 1:All right. So quiche, lorraine, if I was just doing a pop in from Le Halle Belangerie Patisserie.
Speaker 2:So if you could, if you had to stay here all day.
Speaker 1:They have other options. What?
Speaker 2:would you eat what you would eat at the patisserie?
Speaker 1:I would still stay at the patisserie because they have a lot of other options too.
Speaker 2:Big range of options, yeah, and not just like pastries and stuff. But they have other. They have like a lot of ham and cheese, like croissants and what do they call it? Croquettes.
Speaker 1:Croquettes yeah.
Speaker 2:Stuff like that. So, yeah, they have a lot of good options here to eat, yeah, all that so yeah, they have a lot of good options here to eat. Yeah, all right, so I'm staying on the non-World Showcase side, kind of a broad area for all day, and my attraction should be no surprise to anybody living with the land.
Speaker 1:Well, yeah, because you can ride that one all day. You can ride that one all day long.
Speaker 2:I'm going to hang out with Walt in Dreamers Point, listen to the wonderful music throughout the day. And for food, I am going to be eating at Connections Eatery. Great music, now. The theming's not too, eh, kind of bland, but for overall options, you got the French Bistro Burger, american Classic Burger. You got the chicken sandwich. You got pizzas you know they're not bad. Got some different drinks in there and they have the Liège waffles. I can get breakfast there too.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, but you would sit outside near Walt.
Speaker 2:I would go hang out with Walt throughout the day, Walk around just kind of chill yeah. Pop into Living With the land whenever I wanted. Ride that all day.
Speaker 1:Okay, Actually I can hang out on this side all day.
Speaker 2:I really could.
Speaker 1:Okay.
Speaker 2:With the music. So you definitely did this one different because technically there's more lands individually on that side, so I knew you were going to say that and I do not recognize those.
Speaker 1:I know, it's just the non-world showcase side I know and I mean I'm the same way, but I knew you were gonna wait she's gonna say something.
Speaker 2:I'm gonna say they, I do not recognize them, what, I don't even know what they are, the land, water I don't know future world, or something future world's gone.
Speaker 1:Oh, that's right it was they get they bulldozed future world anyway, yeah, we don't even know't even know all the names to it anymore, because you know we do look at it as World Showcase or non-World Showcase yeah, but I can't pop into Moana because it's an attraction. But see, you said an attraction when we talked about this.
Speaker 2:Yeah, an attraction One attraction. Yeah, I'm doing Living with the Land. Yeah, an attraction One attraction.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:I'm doing living with the land.
Speaker 1:Right, so you cannot pop into Moana. No, I can't, I'm not.
Speaker 2:I said I'm not popping into Moana, but I can hang out with Walt. He's, I guess he's. He's a statue. Yeah, you'll let that slide, yeah off the rails for this episode.
Speaker 1:Yes, now, what are you looking?
Speaker 2:up over there. Well, so I wanted to go back to the patisserie. The patisserie, okay, um, in epcot. Yes, the france pavilion.
Speaker 1:Yes, because you know now that I realize I'm eating there all day long, uh. So I mean, yeah, they have things like blts and they have like soup in a bread bowl and, of course, like baguettes.
Speaker 2:That would be very filling. Yeah, I've seen people walking around Epcot with just a baguette.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:They're just like walking around with it. I'm like, is it that good?
Speaker 1:But you know, and then they have a lot of different desserts and they have macarons.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:You know. So I mean I could definitely eat there all day and then they have coffee and cappuccinos and hot chocolates and juice and so, and then they do mimosas and everything. So I think I'd be very happy there yeah, yeah, it's like a baguette.

Speaker 2:I'm gonna go running this afternoon at soccer practice. Okay, it's nice. Yeah, all right. The last park, our favorite park, animal kingdom. Yes, britney, I don't know where you're going, and I don't think you know where I'm going either.
Speaker 1:You may have an idea I might need to change where I'm eating. I don't think there's enough variety. But, all right, where are you going? All right, the land, africa, good one. All right, I didn't see that coming. I thought you're gonna go to asia. No, no, okay, all right, africa africa.
Speaker 2:Good one, all right, I didn't see that coming I thought you're gonna go to asia, no no okay all right africa is good. Okay, africa, I can hang out there.
Speaker 1:There's a lot going on in africa and the reason why I chose africa is for the attraction okay, you're gonna go watch the uh drummers all day no, no, okay, kilimanjaro safari.
Speaker 2:I thought you're gonna get a wildlife express train?
Speaker 1:no no, okay, that's because it's always different. Yes, kilimanjaro safaris.
Speaker 2:I thought you were going to get a wildlife express train. No, no, okay.
Speaker 1:Because it's always different. Yes, Kilimanjaro safaris, I would you know. Get off one safari, go back in line, get on another.
Speaker 2:Never the same no.
Speaker 1:That's a good one. Take a break here and there. I like some of the little shops and stuff over there in Africa as well.
Speaker 2:Walk down Gorilla Falls Trail. That's not an attraction, that's a walkthrough.
Speaker 1:Right.
Speaker 2:Doesn't count.
Speaker 1:Yeah, okay, it doesn't count.
Speaker 2:No, it doesn't.
Speaker 1:Okay, good, yeah, then I can do that as well.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:And then again mine was originally thinking we're just hopping in and I could only pick one area but food. So at the time time I thought I would be hopping in in the morning, maybe catching an earlier Kilimanjaro safari, and then I was going to go to that Harambe fruit market, stand outside of this safari and get a breakfast sandwich you can eat that breakfast until 11, then you can get to corn yeah and just eat corn the rest of the day.
Speaker 2:Right, they have chips and like fruit that is true but not really. You don't eat there all day no.
Speaker 1:So if I'd known that I was going to be eating in a land all day, then I would have done Harambe Market.
Speaker 2:Okay, there's some good bowls there.
Speaker 1:Yes, they have like a shrimp bowl. You can get a shrimp and chicken bowl. You can get a chicken bowl. They have several different bowls and I think I've had it once and they are good, very filling once and they are good, very filling.
Speaker 2:I think they give pretty good sized portions as well. They are, and if you sit by the very back you can see the wildlife express train go by. Oh yeah, yeah, it's pretty cool yeah, so, so, yeah.
Speaker 1:So if I was going to be there all day, I would just switch it to the actual harambe market. But if it was just a pop-in, it would be that harambe fruit market. Stand again outside of the safari for the breakfast sandwich oh, that that's a good one.
Speaker 2:I like it. Yeah, so I. It should be no surprise where I'm going, although you may not know. You don't know Pandora Going to Pandora, so you're not surprised.
Speaker 1:No.
Speaker 2:No surprise for attraction, so this was kind of tough.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Are you doing? It's a small road for Pandora or Meaning Navi, river Journey Navi. River Journey, or are you going to do the best attraction in Walt Disney World?
Speaker 1:The best.
Speaker 2:The best attraction. So Flight of Passage, and I don't mind waiting in that queue. Right, it's a great queue, I don't mind, I'm good. There's always stuff to see in there and explore and look at.
Speaker 1:I'm okay waiting an hour? Yeah, I'm not, because I'm here all day, right, I'm good and had I known? Well, I don't know. I kept still might, would pick africa yeah, because I I had kept I was going back and forth between pandora as well for the attraction part anyway for flight of passage, but with the other factors that's why I chose africa yeah, and for food should surprise nobody where I'm eating at all day satuli canteen, breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Speaker 2:For breakfast they have just awesome food. They got the slow roasted shoulder potato pork, shoulder potato hash. I got cinnamon, french toast frittata and beef and the tropical Pandora Pandoran forest fruits and of course you can get those wonderful bowls or you can get the awesome, awesome cheeseburger pods. For lunch and dinner, great snacks here, great drinks. I can hang out in Pandora and just chill all day and night.

Speaker 1:But what about if it was from that other place that had the orange Sunshine Tree Terrace?
Speaker 2:Yeah, I'm still picking Spring Roll. It's just too much sugar for me.
Speaker 1:I'll get it occasionally.
Speaker 2:But if I had to pick one or the other, I'm going Spring Rolls, especially if it was the pastrami ones, so good. But they don't have those anymore, I know, but still the normal ones. I'm still good, I'm still going Spring Roll.
Speaker 1:The cheeseburger ones and the pizza ones are good. You're going good, yeah, you're gonna go with dole whip right, yes, and I mean I answered that earlier. But, and again, it's solely based on because you have that swirl option of the pineapple and coconut. If that wasn't an option, then I would probably do spring rolls, but based on what they offer right now, it would be dole whip. Okay, now our listeners there are quite a few responded to this poll and with I can see this would be very controversial yeah, well, there, for a while, like when I was watching it, one would be in the lead.
Speaker 1:The next time I would look, the other would be in the lead and then they would be tied, and then back and forth, back and forth. Uh, the one that won after 24 hours was spring rolls.

Speaker 1:Well, I think Toy Story Land just holds a special place, because I go on pew-pew all the time with Nolan.
Speaker 1:You do go on it a lot, yeah, because ever since he was little, when we'd be waiting for like zach and ryan to get done riding other rides back then due to like his height, but then it just became like our thing, um, and so I picked toy story land I I remember this was so we didn't really know what rope dropping was until we, like later on in our first trip, and I was like we didn't really know what rope dropping was until we like later on in our first trip and I was like we didn't have a fast pass for Toy Story Midway Mania and I found out what it was during the trip.
Speaker 2:I didn't know what it was and I was like, oh, we have to do that, right, right. And so we ended up rope dropping Toy Story Midway Mania. This was before Galaxy's Edge was open. And we just loved it, absolutely loved it.
Speaker 2:And then it started pouring down rain and it was cold that day right but I think it does hold a special place because it was part of our first experience with, like, what rope dropping is and like rushing to the land and we got lost because I didn't know where to go yeah you know well, we didn't know where to go and right and the first time that we saw the queue. It was really well done yeah.
Speaker 1:Just all the you know, the toys. You know because you are meant to be a toy as well. So all the toys look super big, all the details they did with it and Mr Potato Head talking, and all that.
Speaker 2:I was like, wow, they did a real. This is really well done yeah.
