Fabulous Film & Friends
Ep. 50 - Jurassic World: Dominion with David Johnson, DMD
Welcome back to Fabulous Film & Friends after a seemingly endless break, which couldn’t be helped as this podcaster doesn’t pay the mortgage with podcasting dollars. It’s been nothing but work and more of it and no time for the finer things in life. Anyway, it’s our 50th episode and we had planned on something really special, a real barnburner between The Northman and The Green Knight, but alas! Due to the perplexing vagaries of the streaming service world, The Green Knight is only available as a purchase on Amazon and unavailable on the other streaming services that I subscribe to, so I have to wait and instead of an extra special awesome 50th episode spectacular we’re going to be discussing Colin Trevorrow’s 2022 sequel Jurassic World Dominion in crappy who cares 50th marker, as if having working a 12-hour shift on your Golden Anniversary.
My guest this week is my good friend Dr. David Johnson, whom you all know well. I will be skipping the synopsis to Jurassic World Dominion because, what’s the point? We all know the plot. Cardboard cutout humans run from dinosaurs for the sixth time in an exhausting franchise, this time rejoined by the first film’s main cast of actors, Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum.
