In this weeks Episode we are joined by Alex & Kitty from Jelly Exotics to discuss Rescue & Re-homing Reptiles. Jelly Exotics are a fully registered charity with all the right insurances in place. Although it's an upbeat episode the issues talked about on this weeks show and the challenges faced are very real. We hear from Alex & Kitty regarding what its like to run a Rescue & Re-homing service and the highs and lows experienced on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Alex & Kitty also answer our questions surrounding what their opinions and experiences are on different matters when Reptile keeping.
Unfortunately a lot of Reptiles end up in Rescues and need re-homing for various reasons. Some reasons are completely unavoidable and owners are often upset that it has come to needing to re-home however on the flip side, people often buy Reptiles as a spare of the moment event without researching thoroughly and get bored with them and as a result they end up in Rescues. Alex & Kitty offer out some great advise to anyone considering adopting from a Rescue and what the process is.
