Climate change constitutes one of the greatest risks facing the world. Between 2010 and 2020, human deaths from extreme events like floods, droughts and storms were 15 times higher in vulnerable regions when compared to other parts of the world. Vulnerable regions and countries, including Nigeria, continue to bear the brunt of these frequent and extreme weather events and disasters.
