Over 24,ooo people have disappeared in northeastern Nigeria as a result of the Boko Haram insurgency that has plagued the region. According to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), this number represents half of the number of missing persons registered by the organisation in the whole of Africa. On today’s episode, we examine the growing number of missing persons in this region, the impact these incidents have on their families, and the current efforts directed towards reuniting the families together.
