Hey, you know, all the time I like to talk about your Girl Gang on this podcast, and I like to talk about your girl gang because it's just freaking so important to cultivate community.
It is ridiculously important. And you know, when I was growing up, people would be like, oh, girls are just mean to each other and blabbity, blabbity, blah. Right? So I grew up with that stigma of girls are always mean, girls are always gonna stab you in the back. And then of course, you know, those situations would present themselves where I could then validate that belief.
And I was like, see, girls are bitches, but you know what, that's not fucking true. Of course, you know, I could sit here and tell you guys some serious stories where I was like, wow, that was really mean, and that was really fucked up. Samantha really got our feelings hurt, and I'm sure there have been times where I have not acted like my best self, but at the end of the goddamn day, we need each other.
There's 7 billion of us on this planet. So this is just your little daily reminder to cultivate that community. Maybe reach out to someone that you've been thinking. You know, put together a little meetup, like text a group of people that you know and be like, Hey, do you guys wanna like grab drinks here?
Don't always wait to be invited. Maybe you go ahead and you start it, cuz there could be someone out there who's like, I really could use someone today and I guarantee that you could use someone today too.
