Shooting Straight Radio
Welcome to Shooting Straight Radio podcast!! This program (formerly known as "Shooting Straight Radio Show" on WMMB and iHeartRADIO) is all about firearms, the 2nd Amendment, and all things pertaining thereto. It is hosted by Royce, a veritable super-spreader of Constitutional propriety as well as a firearms instructor with multiple certifications, including endorsement by the National Association of Chiefs of Police as a defensive pistol instructor. It has been said that he is saturated with gunshot residue, toxic masculinity, and a faint, yet wildly tantalizing whiff of the cologne of his people (Hoppe's #9) as he delivers his unexpurgated commentary on all things firearm and 2nd Amendment-related with 100% felt recoil and no suppressor. As an Ultra-Type-A personality, he is exceedingly generous (and sometimes comically brutal) with his opinions and doesn't mince words. A staunch Constitutionalist, he calls out infringements when and where he sees them. Royce is often joined on the program by special guests like Dale Comstock (DELTA Force), John Rea (SEAL Team 6), Max Mullen (Army Ranger), Quentin Carter (a.k.a. "Q"), Gary O'Neal (American Warrior), Boon Benton (USMC, Benghazi warrior), Sarah "Superbad" Adams (CIA Target Analyst), Col. Danny McKnight (Black Hawk Down), Izzy Matos (USMC combat vet), Ash Hess (U.S. Army combat veteran and instructor extraordinaire), Massad Ayoob, Hank Hayes (Professor Emeritus of Badassology), Spike Cohen (spikecohen.com), ATF whistleblower Peter Forcelli, Erich Pratt and Luis Valdes of GOA, and many more. So tune in to Shooting Straight (a.k.a. 2nd Amendment University) and share it around with your fellow Constitutionalists. Keep your head on a swivel, keep a loaded gun on your person (and spare mags), and never forget that incoming rounds always have the right-of-way.

Gun Control is Modern-Day Snake Oil Sold To The Gullible
Royce references several stories that highlight what most of us already know; gun control is a farce that is sold to gullible citizens who then become unwitting accomplices in the civilian disarmament movement.
Gov. Newsom (CA) is apoplectic over the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals slapping down his state's law that requires a background check just to buy ammo.
Sen Chris (the Marxist) Murphy is attempting to reinstate the NFA tax, made conformable to inflation, to well over $4,700.00 per stamp.
Royce references an article titled "The Hucksters of Gun Control" by Bill Cawthon, a well-written piece that likens gun control to the snake oil of the Old West, sold to gullible citizens by hucksters and fraudsters.
Royce ties all those together in this episode!

y 'all send me. It really means a lot. And it's not that I do this program for
the accolades of anyone. I really honestly, this program began 11 years ago for the
express purpose of of educating people to the depths of the Second Amendment because
I ran into so many people who are absolutely abjectly ignorant about the Constitution
and the depths of it and unfortunately too many liberal,
too much liberal input I should say into the constitutional debate has clouded the
minds even of people who fancy themselves to be constitutionalist. I mean it's kind
of shocking to me how many people who claim to be very pro -second amendment will
in the same breath and sentence say well the second amendment is not an absolute
right. I've covered that on this program many times to prove that yes it most
certainly freaking is and our founders intended it to be thus and if you'd like if
you if you haven't listened that far back to this program and you would like to
hear me explain it to you, I'll be glad to write me at Shooting Straight Radio
Show or Shooting Straight Radio podcast, either one at gmail .com and I'll explain to
you why that thinking is flawed in light of the declarations of our founders.
And I'm not just talking about the Declaration of Independence, I'm talking about
words that they put in writing years ago in newspaper articles and other theses and
stating how they viewed we the people as a military fighting force that was to be
just as armed as its government. And that is still the way it's supposed to be.
Now I want to remind everybody that the Constitution is only and was only crafted
for a morally minded people and it is totally inadequate for governing the immoral.
And I think we see that in this country today. Much immorality abounds in way too
many areas of this nation. We have just the most wicked and rampant sin polluting
our land these days, and God is not going to hold us guiltless.
But for the rest of us who want to live morally and according to biblical precepts
and would do not want the curse of God upon our land, we still uphold and defend
the Constitution. And that's just the way it is. Now, let's touch on California for
a minute because the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals recently slapped down California's
AMO background check. They said it was unconstitutional. Now, this is shocking to me
that this came from the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. They have a long and
storied history of citing against the Constitution, but suddenly they are saying that
this background check on a $25 - $50 box of 9mm ammo,
and yes, that's what they're paying for it out there in the Communist -occupied
territory of California, must also have a background check fee attached there too.
And of course, with the patchworks of laws throughout California and the various
municipalities and counties, that fee can fluctuate up and or down.
So how would you like to go into your gun store tomorrow and pay $50 for a box
of nine millimeter, basically a dollar around. And then on top of that, pay upwards
of $10 or more to have a background check run on you to where the state says,
Yes, he may purchase this ammunition for his firearm because we approve of him doing
so. That flies in the face of constitutional propriety people.
It always has and always will. So they ruled against California's background checks.
They said the Ninth Circuit said that's unconstitutional. Yes, that's a shocking
ruling. But hey, thank God for it. It's a step in the right direction. Governor
Newsom made a statement on the California website.
I believe it's a state of California website.
And he, of course, voiced his angst and objection to their ruling.
And here is his comment. Governor Gavin Newsom issued the following statement today
on a three -judge panel of the U .S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit striking
down California's ammunition background check law, which was passed by voters in 2016.
Now, this is why you should never have anything as a voter referendum unless it's
constitutional, okay? Unless you know it's constitutional or you can prove the
constitutional veracity of it, then yes, voter referendum all day.
I'd like to do some voter referendums on punishing constitution breakers who are in
office, but I'm not gonna run that rabbit trail right now, but you get my point.
He's, Mr. Newsom said, "Strong gun laws save lives." No,
they don't. No, you're wrong. You're a lying little Bolshevik and you know it,
Gov. Gun control laws have never saved any lives.
They have never thwarted any crime. They've done nothing but exacerbate crime and all
of the heavily gun controlled areas of this nation, but yet some catarwalling brain
jackass like you gets in front of a microphone or you pin this garbage saying,
"Strong gun laws save lives." No, they freaking do not. All they do is shift the
balance of power from the citizenry to the government. And it is effectively a
government takeover of the people in each state, your state in particular there,
Governor Newsom. He says, "Strong gun laws save lives and today's decision is a slap
in the face. Well good, you kind of need your little gay boy communist face slap
good and proper anyway and then he says to the progress California has made in
recent years to keep its communities safer from gun violence.
Progress huh? Well what rest would that be? Gaffey baby, huh? Especially considering
the constant and continual uptick in violent crime in your communist controlled
territory. Please explain to us and put it in layman's terms,
of course, because you know we constitutionalists, we're so ignorant and you liberals
are so vaunted in your intelligence. Yeah, and explain to us All of these things.
Explain how you have so many gun control laws there and yet people are fleeing your
state because of the violence in many of your cities like Sacramento, Oakland,
San Francisco at all. How has public safety improved at all under the plethora of
anti -rights bills being passed in your state, Governor, this is a good step for the
ninth circuit it really is. He continued his diatribe. He said Californians voted to
require background checks on ammunition and their voices should matter.
No, wrong. Their voices do not matter. Royce, come on, man.
What do you talk about? They're the voters. Their voice matters. Nope, listen. Their
voices do not matter if their voices call for the violation of the rights of their
fellow citizens by their government. Just because your voice is your vote and just
because you have a right to speak freely, that doesn't mean everything that comes
out of your mouth should be heated, especially if you're stupid and you live in
California and think Governor Newsom is doing a good job. So your voice does not
matter if your voice is calling for the extirpation of the rights of your fellow
citizens? No, your voice does not matter at that point because you are calling for
something that you would not like to be imposed upon you. That's bottom line. "They
then appeal to the polls." Yes, the polls. "Most major polls," said Gaby,
maybe show overwhelming bipartisan support for universal background checks and other
gun safety measures, which support typically, I'm sorry,
with support typically ranging from 85 to 90%. So what?
Since when does the free responsible exercise of any of our God -given rights
contingent upon polls, Mr. Newsom or anybody else,
since when? Oh, but these all these people said that they want it.
And so we have to give it to them. No, you might want to consult with Moses about
what happens when you give the people what they want. Or I should say Aaron at the
foot of Mount Sinai down there. Yeah, giving the people what they want. Up, and
make us gods, up Governor Newsom,
make us gun control laws so we can feel safe.
Yeah. And by the way, since when is bipartisan support proof of the morality or
decency of any kind of issue?
Bipartisan support doesn't mean crap to me. All that means is the Republicans teamed
up with the Democrats to screw America real good one more time. And where does he
get the ignorant idea that as long as some totalitarian like himself can convince
his voter base to accept infringements, that such voter support therefore nullifies
the Constitution. Yes, totally does away with the supreme law and all of its
precepts simply because the people said they wanted the antithesis thereof.
Yeah, that was a rhetorical question. He continued, a 2023 Fox News poll,
I don't care if Fox made the poll, I don't trust them any more than anybody else,
I don't care if it was the most flamingly conservative news organization in America
today. Polls don't mean crap to me. Why would you take a poll when you could
simply consult the supreme law of the land to find out what the decent and right
thing is to do? A Fox News poll found that 87 % of American voters back criminal
background checks for all gun buyers. No, I don't care. I don't,
I don't care. Well, you don't care about percentages than why should we? I mean,
you don't care that 95 % of all mass shootings happen in gun -free zones,
you know, the same kind of zones that you champion their governor, the same kind of
zone you are transforming your entire state into and wondering why the violent crime
rate is off the charts. Yeah. He said in California, voters approved background
checks for ammunition purchases in 2016 by a 63 to 36 % margin.
Well, there's 1 % missing there, governor. I don't think you could do the math
anyway. So what? I don't care. The vast number of American voters in the South once
overwhelmingly approved slavery too. But as a matter of fact, it was even upheld by
various courts, but that doesn't override the Constitution and the rights of those
enslaved people enshrined therein. And that had to be rectified with blood,
unfortunately. And now, Newsom, you understand the genius of the founders in
establishing the supreme law for the founding of this nation because they knew evil
people like you, sir, will always exist and would always seek to seize power over
the people by first disarming them or inhibiting their access to firearms and their
means to defend themselves against you and your state enforcers. By the way,
I'm going to throw this out there one more time. For what other rights do Americans
have to pay for a background check prior to freely exercising them? What other
right? Name another right that you had to get a background check for just to simply
exercise it. Well, what about all the false positives that have plagued the
background check system? Yes, like what is it, a 95 to 97 % false positives rate?
Yeah, that means out of 100 ,000 denials of somebody trying to buy a box of nine
millimeter, 97 ,000 of them are false positives. Yeah,
that also goes, that holds true for the NICS system too. How come none of those
things are ever considered?
Has this idiocy that you have been stilled out there in your courts and in your
legislatures and in your cities and municipalities has it done anything to inhibit
violent crime in California in the least? And that, sir, is what's known as a
rhetorical question because anybody with the brain of a boiled cabbage can see
California is one of the most violent states while also being one of the most
heavily gun -controlled along the same vein as New York, New York City especially,
and Illinois, Chicago, Illinois, and New Jersey at all at all. Now to throw another
I told you so out here Well, background checks,
well what should I say, background checks are part of the NFA.
And if you want to get a suppressor or a short barreled rifle or a short barreled
shotgun or a fully automatic machine gun that is transferable mind you,
then you have to go through a major background check. Not just the NICS background
check, but a full -fledged one that the ATF themselves performs upon your background.
Oh, they go deep too, baby. I'm going to tell you what. No, that's not true
because they found out that's a lie. They don't go any deeper than the NICS system.
They're too stinking lazy for that, lazy for that anyway. That's the problem with
totalitarians. Most of them are narcissistic and that makes them lazy by proxy. Well,
Mr. Chris Murphy, Murphy the Marxist, you know what a brain jackass he already is.
And here's an article I'll be referencing heavily by Cam Edwards. And this is a big
we told you so because we said when the one big beautiful bill was passed that
some Democrat or Democrats were going to try to reimpose not just the $200 tax
stamp, but to adjust it literally for inflation since 1934 when that $200 stamp was
imposed. And lo and behold, I guess Chris Murphy must be listening to this program
too so we can get some, you know, some good prep. But here's an article by Cam
Edwards. A writer has been inserted in the House Financial Services and Senator Chris
Murphy is trying to use the appropriations process to reinvigorate the NFA.
Murphy is trying to insert a writer into the military construction veterans affairs
because he knows it can't pass any other way unless he sneaks it in, filthy
criminal, and related agencies appropriations bill with language to undo the NFA
reform included in the one big, beautiful bill and instead raise the transfer tax on
NFA items from $200 to, listen, $4 ,709 for each transfer,
okay? That means if you wanna buy a short barreled rifle with a suppressor,
Well, there's $18 ,000, $19 ,000, some odd dollars.
I haven't done the math on that. $4 ,709 per item,
okay? Why? And why? Why, why, why? Why is that so important to put such an
exorbitant rate on the ownership and transfer of a gun or item that cost a quarter
of the fee there, the registration fee. What does that actually do?
Who gets the money? Where does that money go? Well, that money is then used to
further try to inhibit our right to keep and bear arms. That's where it goes, okay?
This is done for the express purpose of taking away the rights of the people and
prohibiting them from freely exercising them by imposing massive exorbitant fees and
/or taxes upon the free exercise of the right. Some Democrat communists,
they just merely wanted to reinstate and merely triple the $200 former NFA fee,
but all Smurphy, he wants to go right for the gold, And this nearly five grand
that he wants to impose is just essentially, like I said, it's inflation over the
past 90 years, but we said they would try this. We told you that if the Democrat
communists ever do come back into power and steal votes enough to get back into
power, that they're going to try to do exactly that and first everything that Donald
Trump has done. Now, I'm gonna tie all this together eventually.
I'm just, this is some loose hodgepodge and we'll lace it all together later. But
here's what Democrat communists refuse to even try to understand.
And they refuse because such truths interfere with their divinity complex that fills
their hearts with delusions of grandiosity. They think that they are saviors and they
are rulers and they are gods and that they have a right to rule you and tell you
what you should eat, what you shouldn't eat and what you should own, what you
should not own. And if they tell you to eat bugs and you just say thank you and
ask for more. They don't understand that we the people have a sovereign right to
defend ourselves, not only singularly, but collectively as a people and defend
ourselves against any and all tyranny. I'm gonna tell you, Democrat, Communist,
something very, you better listen to this.
If we didn't have the patience that we do, we would be hanging all of you by now,
we probably would have already hanged most of you by now for your treason, the evil
you've committed against the people by trying to pass gun control and only for the
sake of disarming us and shipping us off to camps and then committing your genocide
because disarmament is always the prelude to genocide. Never forget that. I like a
quote by Jeff Snyder. I'm gonna quote him here. He says, "Although difficult for
modern man to fathom, it was once widely believed that life was a gift from God.
Not to not defend that life when offered violence was to hold God's gift and
contempt to be a coward and to breach one's duty to one's community." I like that
right there. Well, what you communists don't understand is we have that right,
not just against criminals on the street level, but against you criminals up there
on the state and federal level too. What you're doing every time you try to pass a
gun control law is you're committing an act of treason, you're waging war against
the people and the Constitution, and you deserve to hang for that. Yes, fair trial.
No problem. Give you a fair trial and get you a court appointed attorney. But if
you think you're going to sit on death row for 27 years and get three hots in a
cotton no bills, no, we're going to speed your executions up. Oh, Royce,
man, you're just, you're, you're violent. You want to kill people? No, I don't. No,
I don't. I wish they would all just see the light, but they never will because
they're afflicted, like I said with this divinity complex and these delusions of
grandiosity. They fancied themselves to be saviors and keepers of the flames somehow
and they are the guardians of the people. And all they have to do is pass a law
with a wave of their mighty hand and crime disappears overnight and all of us peons
lay down our guns and say, "Oh, the state can take care of us now." Nope,
nope, not at all. We do still believe that life is a gift from God and that to
not defend it when you offer us violence, I don't care if it's state violence,
that's to hold God's gift in contempt. And we're not like you Democrats. We don't
hold the gift of life in contempt like you do for infants in the womb. And you've
murdered how many now? Well, almost 70 million since 1973. You have no concern for
the sanctity of life. Any life that is not useful to you, you deem useless anyway.
That's why you're all for euthanasia. You're all for so -called abortion. Well, I
call it infanticide because this is how you think. You think the opposite of how we
think. To us, life is precious. To you, any life that can't be used for political
gain is not precious. That's how y 'all think. Ah,
I like these background checks where the state says you must first prove yourself
morally fit to exercise this right to self -preservation by submitting to these
background checks proctored by immoral governments. I like another quote that came
from an anonymous preacher who uttered it from his pulpit back in, I think it was
17, so 18, 17, I think,
don't quote me on that, but he said, "He that suffers his life to be taken from
him or allows his life to be taken from him by one that has no authority for that
purpose, when he might preserve it by defense, incurs the guilt of self -murder,
since God has enjoined him to seek the continuance of his life and nature itself
teaches every creature to defend itself. Wow,
that's pretty bold, isn't it? Oh, I Oh, and I agree with that. I'm sure most of
you listeners agree with that, but somewhere along the line, the lie of gun control
was sold to a constitutionally ignorant, gullible American public,
and now the government essentially tells the citizenry that they, the government,
will protect them. They'll protect us. And there's no need for the public to be
armed, especially with those evil AR -15s because if you're armed,
say they, you're part of the problem. You are part of the problem and we should
instead allow our lives to be taken from us rather than defend them with necessary
deadly force. That's why you have laws like in Massachusetts, the antithesis of Stand
Your Ground, where you in your own home have to retreat to the furthest part of
your home before you turn with your firearm and defend yourself. No thank you.
And at the Castle de Bartlett? Yeah, come on in here and see how this King defends
his castle. It won't be in accordance with Massachusetts law, I assure you that. It
will be in accordance with this principle that I hold life to be a gift from God
and I will defend it with every part of my being. Gun control was sold as a cure
for violent crime and private gun ownership somewhere along the line began to be
viewed as dangerous and it was denounced as an enabler of violent crime and gun
violence. you know, kind of like my dearly departed grandmother, bless her heart,
passed away at 94, a very good sensible woman. But she fell for the lie of gun
control. Uh, matter of fact, I'd never forget the day that my dad and I were
sitting on her porch watching her snap beans and you know what I'm talking about.
You know, if y 'all, if y 'all ever had fresh garden green beans, you know what I'm
talking about. And she's snapping beans and He began to rip into the NRA and guns
and all them people that must hold on to their precious little guns are just a
blight upon our society and I couldn't take it anymore and I told Grandma,
"Grandma, guess what? I'm a member of the NRA because I was at the time and I own
AR -15s and I tell you what, I thought that bowl was going to fall off her lap
and all them snap beans go everywhere because she, her mouth dropped open.
I thought her chin was gonna bounce off of her chest. And she looked at both of
us in shock and horror and said, you,
you're part of the problem. What? How am I part of the problem?
And no matter how much logic I will try to, and you know hit her with grandma how
am I part of the problem all I do all I do is own these guns are police part of
the problem well no because they're police oh they're better than us then well no
but they're well so they're more morally uh upstanding than the rest of them no but
and no matter what I said she would go right back to well you're part of the
problem you're part of the Well, where'd she hear that? From the media.
As they inculcated and repeated, their gun control lies over the airways night after
night after night. And unfortunately, she was one of millions out there who have
swallowed the snake oil of gun control and then turned around and parrot false
anecdotal evidence of its efficacy. And this takes us into the break,
but when we come back, we're gonna continue this thought as we read an article by

We've been talking in the first portion about the The snake oil that has been sold
to gullible Americans, gullible, constitutionally ignorant Americans.
And that's what gun control is. It's presented as safety.
It's presented as a solution to violent crime. It's presented as the end of violent
crime. If we just pass this law, it's going to inhibit the bad guys from doing bad
things with their guns. And yes, the rest of you just have to suffer and suck it
up and turn in a lot of your guns so everybody can be safe because you're part of
the problem after all. And that's how we are presented. That's how we the people,
we lawful, responsible gun owners. That's how we're presented as if we,
by simply exercising a right we were born with, we somehow enable violent crime,
and that is not just a lie, it's slander. It's absolute slander,
and when you write it in magazine articles, it's libelous. Now,
Bill Cawthon, writing for Amoland back on July 23rd,
posted
uh, in ammo land called the hucksters of gun control. And since I couldn't say any
of this any better myself, I'm just going to read his article in interspace, uh,
interspace, interspers some of my commentary into it. He says snake oil was made by
boiling rattle, steaks and skimming the oil that rose to the surface. Well, frankly,
any rattle steak, I'm going to take the trouble to boil. oil I'm gonna eat. Yeah,
if you've never eaten rattle steak, I'm telling you it's a good survival food and
it ain't bad. Hype does a miracle cure. Rattle snake oil doesn't have any real
medicinal value at all. Nonetheless, Huxters and Conmen pedaled untold numbers of
bottles labeled as snake oil in the early 19th and 20th centuries.
Gun control is similar, amen. The entire gun control spiel was created for the
gullible. Bold, completely unsupported claims are coupled with words like common sense
and reasonable to soothe any doubts and overcome reluctance.
This is particularly true of universal background check laws. And how many times have
you heard it? Background check laws save lives. Have you ever heard that? Yeah,
he said background check saves lives. Gun grabbers assert as if it had been engraved
on stone tablets and brought down from Mount Sinai. However, there's one little
objective evidence, piece of evidence that background checks delivers. Oh,
I'm sorry, I misread that. There's little objective evidence that background checks
deliver on the promises. I need to probably enlarge this font cause I'm getting old.
In the year 2000 Philip Cook and Jen's Ludwig published an article called homicide
and suicide rates associated with implementation of the Brady handgun violence
prevention act in the Journal of American Medical Association.
They were studying the impact of the federal background check requirement that went
into effect in February 1994, right around the same time the so -called assault
weapons ban did here in America. And the waiting period imposed from that month
until the FBI's NICS program went live in 1998.
Cook and Ludwig concluded implementation of the Brady Act appears to have been
associated with reductions in firearm suicide rate for persons age 55 years or older,
but not with reductions in homicide rates or overall suicide rates.
So if all you can point to, this is me, not the author. If all you can point to
as well, persons age 55 or older didn't kill themselves as much with a gun during
that time period. Not that I don't care about people taking their life and killing
themselves, because again, I find life to be very precious and I would never
consider doing such a thing.
Other than that, what have you got? It doesn't stop bad guys from a getting guns
and be using guns phaloniously So why what's the purpose of these laws?
Again, that was a rhetorical question in
2017 dr. Garan Wintemude director of the violence prevention research program at UC
Davis campus was one of the authors of comprehensive background check policy and
firearm background checks in three U .S. states, which was a study of the impacts of
universal background check laws in Colorado, Delaware, and Washington state.
The study looked for increases in the number of background check inquiries and
concluded people in Colorado and Washington ignored the laws.
Well, well, well. Delaware did show the expected increase in background check
inquiries, but it also had the largest increase in the rate of firearm homicides.
That was 45%. Colorado had a 42 % jump and homicides rose 31 % in Washington state.
That's not exactly a glowing testimonial, given all the hype about background checks.
Yeah, as a matter of fact, there's a chart I'm looking at here that compares 12
states that passed universal background check laws and 20 other states that went for
constitutional carry in the years 2003 to 2021.
And they measured each state from the year their laws were passed to all the way
to 2023. And the constitutional carry states, they had a massive drop in crime.
Matter of fact, let me read this. It said between 2003 and 2021, 12 states began
requiring a dealer background check for every firearm transfer, including private
sales. 20 states adopted constitutional or permitless carry, comparing the number and
rate per 100 ,000 of firearm -related homicides in the year.
The state's law went into effect to the number of rates in 2023. The gun control
fans got their butts kicked. Their words, not mine. Even as homicides declined from
their 2021 peaks, the background check states had 43 % more additional homicides than
the constitutional carry states. Weighted average homicide rates dropped 14 % in the
constitutional carry states, but jumped up 13 % in the background check states.
It's almost like background checks don't stop crying. Yeah, that's because background
checks were never intended to. That's just the snake oil package they sold it to
you in. The article continues. Universal background checks are allegedly supposed to
keep guns out of the hands of people who should not have them. The gun control
faithful claim that background checks have prevented 4 .9 million prohibited people
from getting a gun. Remember the 97 % false positives right now.
However, a 2019 Department of Justice survey of 256 ,000 inmates in federal and state
prisons showed the overwhelming majority of criminals did not get their guns from
licensed dealers, shocking, or pawn shops, shocking, or gun shows or flea markets.
Oh, not just shocking. In fact, according to the US Sentencing Commission's 2021
manual, 88 .8 % of those convicted of new weapons offenses were already prohibited
from possessing a firearm. The final nail in the background check coffin is that
they are unenforceable. In 2013, Dr. Greg Widgeway,
acting director of the National Institute of Justice, published a summary of select
firearm violence prevention strategies. Writing about background check laws,
he said effectiveness depends on the ability to reduce straw purchasing,
which is almost impossible to catch. Really, I mean, you see some very flagrant
signs and requiring gun registration and an easy gun transfer process.
Gee, that sounds familiar. Where have you heard that before? Oh yeah, on this
program, where I said universal background checks would always require. They were
always intended to require and lead to gun registration.
The article continues, creation of a federal registry is prohibited by the Firearm
Owners Protection Act of 1986. The ATF doesn't care, of course. They've been
illegally crafting one for decades. Moreover, anyone believing Americans would willingly
register their guns probably also believe in the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, and
Unicorns, or maybe even the efficacy of gun control laws. New York State experienced
the futility of gun registration laws in 2013. The SAFE Act,
or the SAFE Ammunition and Firearms Enforcement Act, included a requirement for owners
of certain firearms to register them with New York State released by April of 2014.
Now listen to this next part, and it gives me hope for New York. When the New
York state police was ordered to release the number of guns registered, the total
was a mere 44 ,000 out of an estimated quarter of a million.
Mm -hmm. Oh, all the way up to one million were some estimates. In the best
possible case, the compliance rate was less than 18%. Good for all of you in New
York. Don't register a darn thing because you know where registration leads to.
It leads to confiscation and you know where gun confiscation leads to. It leads to
internment camps, death squads and mass executions in the camps.
While the snake oil charlatans knew their product was fake, most of the gun control
faithful had an unshakable belief in their dog mob, despite the ran corporations
finding that most gun control studies are junk, and they are, zealous gun control
evangelists still trot them out whenever they're challenged, but they can't escape the
numbers. And as I've said here many times, math is some of the purest truth that
you can find out there. They can't escape the numbers and they can't evade the
tough questions, including the big one, bypass laws that don't work.
Well, surely that was a rhetorical question. I mean, they're not stupid. They know
their proposals won't make even a small dent in violent crime. But then again, this
isn't about actually inhibiting violent crime. This is about disarming the people,
which is the prelude to every genocide on planet Earth.
Remember, all it presently takes to shut off the supply of arms to the people is
to shut down the background check system. And once you turn that off with a flick
of a switch, nobody can purchase a firearm. This is why I have another big problem
with background checks and the background check system. Flick of a switch, boom, no
more gun sales from licensed retailers. This is why I would like for all of us to
buy multiple tactical rifles, buy two or three cheapies and have them ready to sell
to other people who are want to arm up, you know, the people who were the
grasshopper and not the ant and didn't prepare. Yeah, sell that $600 AR for about
$1 ,500 and sell them that thousand round case of 556 for another grand.
Royce, come on, man, that's gadget. Well, you know what? You should have prepped up.
Yeah, no, I'm not like that. I probably could not do that in good conscience. I'd
probably sell it to you with the same thing I paid for it. But the thing is I
want to be ready to arm other people who are not armed if the government ever says
y 'all can't buy him no more and flips the switch on the NICS system. I want all
of you to do the same thing. That way you can help arm up some of your neighbors
and make a force multiplier in the event we have to defend ourselves against people
marauding through the neighborhoods in search of what's in our refrigerators or troops
coming to our door saying, "Give us your guns," okay? Yeah, of course, for backup,
they can just simply revoke FFLs, but they know that would lead to armed
confrontations against government enforcers, and they are not ready for that. They
know good and darn well if we ever organize, they are toast, and we can organize
quickly, even under duress, even under oppression, even under fire if necessary,
because we Americans have that uncanny ability to adapt, to overcome,
and to fight for our rights, fight for what is right, and to defend the
Constitution as we uphold it. Yes, we will uphold and defend the Constitution in
spite of all of you in elected office who violate that oath you took on a daily
basis. So Yeah, that's where I'm at with your background check system and everything
else and all of your snake oil you sold us kind of claiming that it would perform
these miraculous cures for society's ills and all they've done was make it worse.
Yeah. Stay in contact with your reps. Tell them you don't want any more snake oil.
You tell them they will uphold and defend the constitution or there's gonna be the
length of rope with their name on it. Yeah, I'm not being nice anymore these days.
Yeah, I'm not being very charitable. I'm really pissed off and I'm really tired of
all the crap. So stay in contact with your reps. You stay armed up, you stay
trained up and never forget. Incoming rounds always have the right of way.
Royce out.
