Once gun control gains a foothold, it only expands from there, and does nothing but continue to rob rightful power from the People and expand the government's power. This is also happening in Virginia, where the new communist government is rapidly working to take and hold permanent power.

and I always respond as quickly as possible, usually within the hour. All right, let's dive right on into it because of this program being primarily and heavily about the Second Amendment, which means it's automatically juxtaposed to gun control. Gun control is illegal. Let's just boil it right on down to the base. Gun control laws are illegal.
No government in this country has any right or authority, constitutionally speaking, to pass a gun control law at all. But yet, here we are since 1934 with over 20,000 gun control laws on the books at the federal, state, and local level.
All these gun control laws are mere stepping stones to the ultimate goal, and the ultimate goal, as we know, is the disarmament of the citizenry. That's what it boils down to, hands down. There's nothing else that you can successfully argue or sensibly argue.
in favor of gun control. It's only about disarming the citizenry, and the reason they want to disarm the citizenry is because they don't want us to have any means of resistance so they can do whatever the blippity-blank they feel like doing to us. Well, fortunately for us, the founders penned the Second Amendment, made it part of the supreme law, and it still holds some people in check, but certainly not all tyrants.
Certainly not all wannabe totalitarians like the communists and the Islamofascists, which are trying to gobble up one state at a time in our beloved union. Every gun control law that is passed is always later expanded, either in the form of a new gun control law that builds on that one, you know, like the Gun Control Act of 1968 was an enhancement.
for all intents and purposes, of the 1934 National Firearms Act. So either in the form of a new gun control law that they build onto that, or by expanding the law itself, which seems to be their most favorite tactic in these modern times. They will pass a law, and I've warned about this multiple times. They always pass the law, and then they...
embed things in the law that allow them to expand that law later without taking it to the floor for a vote in Congress, the state Congress. They can simply expand it with wording, or they might even convene their state Congress and pass it that way. Either way, it's always about gobbling up more power from the people.
That's what this is about. We know it's not about public safety. That is a lie from the depths of hell. We know this. It's never about real public safety. The people that claim it is for public safety are usually the ones lying through their blippity-blanking teeth and trying to convince us that they just have our best interests at heart. Nothing could be further from the truth.
So we're going to be talking today about various bills and laws being proposed that are expansions of existing gun control laws. And here's one, an article by Cam Edwards. And if you don't follow Cam on BearingArms.com, you should. He's got some great videos and things, too.
Fierce Patriot, and I really appreciate him. Hope to get to meet him soon in person. But the title of the article is Rhode Island Bill could turn gun owners into criminals for keeping the firearms they legally bought. Now, what he's talking about is over a year ago, Rhode Island passed a law that basically outlawed assault weapons and things like that. So that's what he's referencing here. Let's read the article.
Two new bills introduced in the Rhode Island legislature are taking aim at legal gun owners, and one of them could easily turn lawful gun owners into criminals overnight, simply for maintaining possession of the firearms they legally purchased. How do you like that? Well, you can keep the guns you've already got, don't worry. No, we don't want them. How many times have I said, yet?
We don't want them yet, but we'll expand this later. We'll come for them later. Don't you worry. Yeah, they will every time, too. Each of these bills, by themselves, represent a major infringement of the right to keep and bear arms, but taken together, they pose an existential threat to the Second Amendment rights of Rhode Island residents. Well, then these bills are acts of attempted treason.
And everybody involved in proposing them are nothing but traitors and domestic enemies of the supreme law and should be treated as such. Any gun or magazine ban that allows existing owners to maintain possession of their arms can and will always be amended in the future to remove those protections. And that's exactly what H8073 does with so-called assault weapons.
The state's ban on the sale and transfer of modern sporting rifles. You know how I feel about that term, right? That was a reflexive, defensive term created to counter the fallacious term assault weapons. It's a battle-capable weapon, and we have every frickin' right to it, even if it's fully automatic. I digress. The state's ban on the sale and transfer of
these rifles, which was only adopted a year ago, would be expanded to prohibit the possession of those arms beginning July 1 of this year, 2026. Simply keeping the gun you lawfully purchased could result in a 10-year prison sentence and or a fine of up to $10,000. Okay, I'll tell you what I think.
That sentence right there, 10-year prison sentence and a fine of 10 grand, should be applied to everybody involved with proposing this bill. You should be drummed out of office. You should be marched out of your office in handcuffs. You should be slammed over the hood of a waiting squad car, stuffed into the back of it, and sit there and wait your trial and sentencing for treason.
Anything that you do to try to strip arms from the citizenry of any state is an act of treason. You are violating the security of the free state when you are infringing the right of the people to keep and bear arms. Period. End of story. Then there's H-7755, which would, here it is again, there's the key word, expand the state's so-called
Responsible Firearm Purchasing Act. Okay, are you trying to imply that firearms were irresponsibly purchased prior to this law? Of course they were. Everything they do has some sort of a bad implication, a negative connotation against gun owners. Under the current law, anyone purchasing a handgun must provide the seller with a valid training certificate.
issued by the Rhode Island Attorney General, and after the sale has been approved, they're then subjected to a seven-day waiting period before they can take possession of their handgun. And I assure you, people, those seven days will not include weekends and holidays. Kind of like it is down here in Florida with our three-day wait, if you don't have one of those morality cards, you know, concealed weapon permit.
that the state gives you and tells everybody he's moral enough to take his gun home the same day, unlike those other peons who don't have one. Yep. So, eight-hour training course, complete with a live fire requirement, then pass a written test developed by the Attorney General's office. What does the Attorney General's office know about firearms and firearms training anyway?
Again, I think these training mandates and these testing mandates ought to be applied to public servants, not to citizens. Yes, you need to pass a very grueling exam on the Constitution, and you should be able to explain exactly what all the amendments are, why they were written, and what they mean, and the limitations prescribed against law enforcement for violating them.
Under H7755's current language, existing gun owners are not required to obtain a firearm training certificate to maintain possession of any guns they already own. Yet, you will go ahead and add the word yet. That'll change in about a year or two. But any additional purchase would require a valid certificate. Why? Why do they need a valid certificate when they didn't have one to buy the first guns and they've proven they're not the freaking problem?
That was a rhetorical question, of course. Given the proposed changes to the state's assault weapon ban, though, it is not hard to imagine what the next modification of the so-called Responsible Firearm Purchasing Act would be. Renaming it the Responsible Firearm Ownership Act, which, listen, you think Cam's kidding here. You wait. They'll change the name of it.
and mandating that all gun owners get a certificate if they want to legally keep the guns that they already have in their possession. Now, people, you and I, we all know that this has nothing to do with actually fighting violent crime. We know this as well as the people that drafted this know it. The purpose behind this expansion of gun laws is actually nothing less than an expansion of government power over the God-given rights of the people.
to eventually, and even permanently, disarm them so that they can be more readily oppressed and ruled without their government enforcers having to worry about those pesky armed citizens defending themselves against their tyranny. That's really what this is all about. So...
So what's going on in Rhode Island is what's been happening in every other state of the union. They'll pass one gun control law and that will be the springboard for the next and for the next and for the next. And they will set within those laws expansion provisions. And that's what they're doing now in Rhode Island. Now let's take a ride over to Wyoming. You would think Wyoming being a big...
wide open Midwest state that that would be one of the freer states. But it seems that the law enforcement there in the state of Wyoming have a problem with not being able to help.
We, meaning the executive committee and Nick Jurich, worked on amending the bylaws to also to reflect our common practices, which include four at-large bar members. And we also increased the number of executive committee meetings that we have on an annual basis.
Those updates are what is included in the model bylaws. They will be presented. They've been approved by the executive committee, and they will then go on, if we approve them today, to the Board of Governors and eventually post it on our website. And if you would like, we are not required to send them out to the section via email, but if you have any questions about them, I'm happy to discuss them now, but the main updates are the language requested by. the bar just to reflect current practices, to allow for electronic meetings, that sort of thing, memorialize our current practices regarding meetings and at-large board members, at-large executive committee members, and to memorialize the new substantive administrative committees that we created this past July. So if there are no questions, I thought I'd open for discussion if there were any questions about the bylaws before I ask for a motion for approval.
I don't know if that's correct for Robert's Rules of Order, but here we are. It doesn't look like there's any questions, but if you do have any, please don't hesitate to reach out. And may I have a motion to approve the adoption of the amended bylaws? May I have a second? Second. All in favor, say aye. Aye. Any opposed, say no. Okay. The motion carries. Is there any new business for the section of which we should...
have discussion today. If not, we will adjourn. You may go to lunch. Thank you.

We have been discussing the expansion of gun control laws and how that's pretty much a status quo and a modus operandi for all the Democrat communists throughout this country that are trying to disarm us.
That is just simply what they do. They will always build one law upon another, upon another, and upon another. And that will be the springboard for the next and for the next. And it's a slow frog march to complete disarmament. And we know it comes after that. Now, we've been talking a lot about Virginia a lot in the news. And today is going to be one of those times, too.
That is quite a battleground up there. There's a reason that those communists wanted to conquer Virginia. It's because of its direct proximity to Washington, D.C. They're trying to surround Washington, D.C. with communist-occupied territories, and that's not by accident. That's by design.
Now, you know that little Miss Governor Spanberger is nothing but a filthy, godless communist. So is the lieutenant governor. So is the attorney general. And they have already voiced it very loud and clear that they intend on conquering Virginia and Virginians. Now, isn't it funny how immediately Miss Spanberger gerrymandered all the districts in order to give Democrats total power within the state? Have you noticed that?
Well, wait, there's more stuff she's doing, too. And you look very soon. Now, listen, you mark my words. If they can get this assault weapons ban passed right on the heels of that, they're going to pass laws that give the state power to take your children for minor reasons like misgendering them and other such things. Because...
That's their modus operandi, just like expanding gun control laws. Once you're disarmed, then they think they can come take your kids. Yeah, I'm going to try not to segue into a rabbit trail there because I have a particular loathing and despite and hatred for Department of Children and Families, but I'll digress. There are three major gun control bills that are hitting Ms. Spanberger's desk.
The Virginia Senate has advanced them there, too. And here's an article posted in Ammo Land by editor Duncan Johnson. He says gun owners in the Commonwealth are watching closely this week as the Virginia Senate prepares to vote on several controversial gun control. I call them government power expansion measures that critics say.
would further restrict the rights of law-abiding citizens, which in turn will, of course, expand the power of the Democrat-Communist Party. Among the bills headed toward final passage are HB 217, HB 110, and HB 901, three pieces of legislation backed by Democrat-Communist lawmakers that would impose new limits on firearm ownership, self-defense,
and due process protections in virginia now that's pretty much a perfect summation of what these ungodly people and their evil swine cohorts the islamo-fascists want to do to all of their intended victims which is us they want to disarm us then they want to tell us we cannot defend ourselves especially against them then they want to strip away
due process so they can punish us more easily anytime they feel like it, and they can bring the entire weight of the state down upon anybody they choose. If the measures pass as expected, they will head to the desk of Governor Abigail Spanberger, and you know she will sign them. She's already said she would. Second Amendment advocates argue that bills
The bills represent yet another push by Richmond politicians to restrict gun ownership while failing to address violent crime. Well, that's because violent crime does not concern them. Armed patriots do. Some out-of-band and magazine restrictions are in play here. The most sweeping proposal is HB 217, a bill that would prohibit a wide range of commonly owned semi-automatic firearms.
The legislation would also impose new limits on magazine capacity and bar adults under the age of 21 from possessing certain firearms. Semi-automatic rifles and standard capacity magazines are among the most common firearms and accessories owned by Americans today. Under the U.S. Supreme Court's Heller and Bruin decisions, arms quote-unquote in common use for lawful purposes
are protected by the Second Amendment. Now, I'm not a fan of the in common use doctrine, but I'm not going to get off on that rabbit trail right now. But suffice it to say, these lawless Democrats don't care about the law. They don't care about Supreme Court decisions that counter their aims. They're lawless, and lawless people do lawless things. And of course, they'll do this while demanding that everybody unquestioningly abide by whatever laws they pass.
Especially if it's a gun control law. Even the D.C. Circuit Court recently found magazine bans to be unconstitutional. But, of course, communists don't care. They're going to try to enact it anyway. None of these people ever sit back and go, oh, the Supreme Court ruled against us. Oh, well, we tried. And guess we're just not going to be able to take their guns. Nope, they don't think like that. They're playing the long game. They absolutely are.
Gun rights supporters argue that HB 217 would criminalize ownership of widely owned firearms while doing little to deter criminals who routinely ignore existing gun laws, just like Democrats. And the reason that the Second Amendment criminalizes any and all infringements of the right to keep and bear arms. So how about y'all just enforce that against them? Yes, this is what we need in every state.
Laws that have strict and harsh penalties for elected officials who
try to circumvent or attack or oppress any of the free exercise of any of the rights contained in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. That's what needs to happen. Draconian penalties start with 10 years at hard labor, no exceptions, no discretion, 10 years to the minute. You must serve it at hard labor. Yeah. Well, they're also trying to restrict how Virginians
will carry firearms in their vehicles because another measure that is advancing through the legislature, HB110, would also impose new restrictions on how firearms may be kept in vehicles. And the article says, for many gun owners, keeping a firearm secured in a vehicle is a practical necessity when traveling, commuting, or stopping in locations where carry is restricted. Critics say,
The proposed gun, the proposed law, I'm sorry, could make it more difficult for citizens to maintain access to a firearm for lawful self-defense. Well, that's exactly what leftists like your communist governor, lieutenant governor and AG want to do. They don't want you Virginians being able to defend yourselves against their enforcers.
Second Amendment advocates argue that such policies disproportionately impact responsible gun owners who follow the law while leaving criminals unaffected. Well, again, I say they know this and they don't care because this is not about common sense at all. It's about seizing power, keeping power, and getting more power and then wielding that power violently against anybody brave enough to stand up to them. That's what this is about.
They're also going to expand Virginia's red flag law. And I told you this would happen. It's been happening in every state. Now they're increasing the list of all the people who can issue or petition the court for an ERPO without your knowledge. And there's no provisions in there for false reporting. Why not? Yeah, why not was a rhetorical question.
The third measure, HB 901, would expand, there's that word again, Virginia's existing red flag law, formerly known as an Extreme Risk Protection Order, or ERPO. Red flag laws, illegally, allow courts to temporarily suspend a person's firearms rights based on mere claims.
that the individual may pose a danger to themselves or others. Well, I'll tell you what, if the person is dangerous, remove the person. If someone is too dangerous to walk amongst society armed, then they're too dangerous to be walking amongst us at all. HB 901 would broaden, expand, the list of individuals who can file such petitions.
potentially expanding the number of cases where citizens could lose access to firearms without a criminal conviction. And I told you that would happen. I told you. And here it is.
Critics warn that expanding red flag laws raises serious due process concerns particularly when individuals may be subjected to firearms confiscation based on accusation rather than criminal findings. Well, these Virginia communists, and how about we just start calling them the VC? You're welcome.
are already setting themselves up for permanent power there, and this is part of their plan. Disarming Virginians is part of this plan for seizing and keeping power by the Democrat Communist Party and the Islamofascists. They need to hear from you people very soon, because they're not only flagrantly infringing your Second Amendment rights, they're also going after your first
amendment rights. And here's an article by Jonathan Turley. Virginia Democrats move to require teaching Jan 6th as an insurrection. Did you catch that? Yes. Schools in Virginia will be required by these communists to teach that January 6th was not the riot that it was.
not the protest that got out of hand. No, it was a planned insurrection. That's what they're forcing them by law to teach. Virginia Democrats are moving to require teachers to tell students that January 6th was an insurrection and effectively bar them from referencing, quote-unquote, peaceful protests or even election irregularities.
The characterization of the riot as an insurrection is historically and legally false. However, any parents who want to send their children to Virginia public schools would have to accept this form of indoctrination as part of their children's education. Well, first of all, you parents need to be countering any false indoctrination. You need to counter that at home, and you correct those teachers to your child.
You tell them flat out those teachers are wrong. In the last election, Democrats campaigned as moderates. They always do. They always run as moderates around election time. Mark my words on that. Democrats campaigned as moderates, including Abigail Spanberger, but once in control of the governor's mansion and the legislature, however, they have moved quickly.
To the far left in a flurry of measures, Democrat legislators just voted themselves at almost 300% salary increase. Why? Well, because they're going to need it. You know why? They're moving to increase taxes in Virginia. This is another reason they want y'all disarmed up there. Increasing taxes on ride shares, concerts,
counseling, leaf blowers, Amazon deliveries, DoorDash, Uber Eats, ammunition, and a scat of other areas. Why would they be doing that? Control. They want control.
They want control over your finances. They want control over your free exercise of your God-given blood-bought rights. They want to control you. You want to counter this? Draft a resolution of noncompliance and send it to every last government and law enforcement official in your state. And you let them know the people are pissed off.
You let them know we're armed, we can and we will, and we are perfectly, it's justified in the sight of God and natural law that we defend ourselves and our rights with whatever force is deemed necessary. Draft a resolution of noncompliance and send it around. Also, how about you go ahead and take your state to court? Yes, the fact that legislators are up there
to take away your rights, that is a violation of federal law. Uh-huh. You didn't know that. Yeah, 18 U.S.C. 242 and 241. 241 makes it a federal crime to conspire for two officials in power to conspire to infringe the rights of the people. Yes, that's...
federal law go after them use the law go after them parents you need to nullify all of this crap uh all of this indoctrination they're trying to force upon your children all the other communist propaganda you counter that nullify it with the truth and you tell your kids that if their teachers try to teach them this crap
that their teacher is nothing but a lying communist and that their teacher is a domestic enemy of the United States and the Constitution and should be ignored with extreme prejudice. Royce, come on, you can't do that. Oh, yes, I can. Both of my boys did it. Our oldest boy, when he went to the elementary school near our home, back during the Obama administration, the teacher asked, where was President Obama born?
And my son, our son, our oldest son raised his hand and she said, yes. He goes, Kenya. Teacher laughed and said, no, no, no. He was born in Hawaii. And he said, no, that's not true. My dad said he was born in Kenya. So he was born in Kenya. Yeah.
Yes, I instilled within him and our younger son the spirit of rebellion against tyranny. Yeah. Of course, there's a joke about this where Obama walks into a bar with a parrot on his shoulder and the bartender looks up and says, hey, that's really cool. Where'd you get that? And the parrot says, Kenya, they're all over the place. Anyway, but yeah, then our younger son.
was asked by his school guidance counselor about going to college and whether he had a college fund or if he was going to get a student loan. And he said, why would I want to go to college? To learn how to become a gay communist? That's my boy. You better believe it. So parents, yes, you inoculate.
your children against the indoctrination of the state. You tell your state government that if they do this, that they're going to be viewed by the citizenry as domestic enemies and that the people preserve the right to alter and or abolish such a government that had become destructive to the aims of the Constitution because that very succinctly describes
the government of Virginia right now. One more time with that quote from Tench Cox when he wrote in the Philadelphia Federal Gazette back in June 18, 1789. As civil rulers, not having their duty to the people before them, may attempt to tyrannize, and as the military forces, which must occasionally be raised to defend our country, might pervert their power to the injury of their fellow citizens,
The people are confirmed by the article, that is the Second Amendment they were drafting, in their right to keep and bear their private arms, arms intended for warfare.
Whether you want to agree with that or not, that is exactly what the intentions of the founders was. Look up the word arms in any collegiate dictionary. It'll say the same thing. If your dictionary doesn't say it, go find an 1828 Noah Webster dictionary online and look it up there. It's very plain as to what it means. We the people have every right to bear arms. Conversely,
The state and their enforcers have no right to denude them of that right or to try to confiscate their arms, and the state and their enforcers should be heavily punished whenever they try to do such a thing. If they're not, they stay emboldened to keep doing it worse and more, and they'll build on the last gun control law, and they'll expand their power some more.
These gun control laws will never stop. They will win the long game. I'm telling you right now. So what you and I, we need to purpose in our hearts right now, as we stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Virginia, we need to go ahead and purpose within our heart to be utterly defiant to all gun control laws. I said utterly defiant.
That is our right, that is our birthright, and that right was purchased with blood. How dare we not defend these rights that others have sacrificed life and limb to do that very thing, huh? Worse than that, how dare anyone in law enforcement or in the legislative branch, the judicial branch, or the executive branch piss on the graves?
of all of our servicemen and women who have given their lives in defense of the Constitution. That's what all of you officials took an oath to do. And yet, look at you. You're not only not defending it, you're flat out attacking it. And that's why I always close the show by saying, stay armed, stay strapped, stay stocked up on beans, bullets, and bandages, and never forget.
Incoming rounds always have the right of way. Royce out.
