Golden thread
Welcome to the FindingHOME podcast, season 2, Episode 6: In this episode, I am in conversation with Dr. Carlemi Calitz, who is from South Africa. She shares her story, which is weaved with the “golden thread” both in her personal and professional life.
Carlemi is currently working as a postdoctoral research fellow at Gutvibrations in association with Amsterdam University Medical College. She started her career as a Biochemist and moved on to become an expert in pharmacology. She completed her doctorate degree in Toxicology and is now working hard in the field of in vitro toxicology, working hard to develop a human model for efficient testing and one day finding a cure for liver cancer.
It is my pleasure to present to you all this conversation where Carlemi candidly discussed her personal, and professional life back in South Africa, how she almost hated to be in Denmark to reversing her decision to move to Sweden and now to Amsterdam. Brace for multiple layers in this journey …. Please listen in ………
