Lift Up Your Scepter of Power!
It was 1972 and I was in Montreal, Canada for a few weeks. "Bonjour, Mon Ami," said the little French lady that I stayed with during that time. She only spoke French and other than a few French phrases like this one which meant, "Hello, my friend," I only spoke English. The two of us couldn’t communicate with each other good in our human language. However, on a spiritual plane, I understood her quite well. In fact, her prayers saved my life.
This little lady was a devout Catholic, with an altar of lit candles in little red containers that she was constantly praying before with her Rosary Beads. Not a Catholic, I had never seen anyone pray like that in their home before. I felt like I was in a Sacred Sanctuary. A holy place of great peace!
Every morning, noon, and night, she bowed down on her knees before this altar, made the sign of the cross on her chest, and started to pray in what was an unknown tongue to me. She would say in French, “Seigneur écoute ma prière” which in English meant, "Lord hear my prayers."
Seeing her strong faith in God and hearing her call out in her language as she did, touched me deeply. It was the catalyst that helped to save me from what could have been a great tragedy. Her devotion changed my life.
With a sweet, smiling face, and serene countenance, I, also, watched her go about household chores with a quiet peace radiating from her spirit. In fact, her simple, modest home, powerful prayer life, and tranquil environment were just what I needed in my life at that time.
You see, I was in an unhappy marriage and could see no way out. Oh, don't get me wrong, I lived quite well, outwardly, according to what people called success.
Living in a Pent-House Apartment on the forty-eighth floor of a high-rise building on the "Gold Coast" of Chicago, I wore designer clothes, lunched at all the fancy restaurants, had friends who were rich, and famous, and was the wife of a well-known Neurosurgeon. I didn't want for anything, except love, and it was love that I needed the most.
Our marriage was without it. It had been a marriage of convenience for him and for me. Down through the years, the lack of love, disrespect, and coldness we both felt for each other, and our marriage had grown unbearable.
Material things no longer mattered to me and I didn't care anymore what anybody else thought. All I wanted was out! Out of this sham, we called marriage.
I was miserable, sad and so depressed, that I seriously started thinking about taking my own life. I was at my lowest point and couldn't go any further. Often it seems, that is exactly when the Lord steps into our life to help us. I know that's when he stepped in to mine.
In Hebrews 13:2 we are told, Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
This Canadian lady was a stranger to me, and, also, the angel that I had entertained unawares. It was through her faith and the power of her prayers, that my mind was renewed, my faith was restored and my life was saved.
Even though I didn't know her language or what she was saying, as she prayed each day, the power of God descended upon me in her home and peace, that peace I was so lacking, that peace that passeth all understanding filled my soul.
Praying out loud as she often did, I felt God's presence flowing through her words and touching the very depths of my soul as it strengthened me. Yes, there in that home of prayer, under the anointing of this stranger, I felt angels ministering to my spirit.
Every day, morning, noon, and night for two weeks, her prayers fell upon me, like "Mana from Heaven," cleansing and purifying my body temple, nourishing my soul with sacred food I hungered for, and healing my wounded spirit and broken heart.
It humbled me and I started praying too. I couldn't help myself. It was the first time in years, I had prayed so diligently. So honestly. So sincerely and with such great passion. I poured out my heart. I poured it all out and those prayers relieved me. They released me, from the torment I had long felt pent up in my soul. All my pain, my heartache, my fears, my unforgiveness just washed away. I asked God, the Great I AM to heal me and to show me the right path to follow. I asked him to help me to step away from that which was not for my highest good, and he did. He heard my prayers.
As the healing waters, like the river Jordan, flowed over me, day after day, salty tears coursed down my cheeks, My soul was revived, my mind was renewed and my spirit was filled with the Glory of God. I had been changed from the very depths of my soul.
Finally, when my time to go home had come, I had grown strong in my spirit. Strong enough to overcome the turbulent marriage that had shaken me to my very core. Strong enough to stand. To stand on the Rock of My Salvation. Filled with humility and gratefulness to God, my life was never the same again.
Yes, the Power of Prayer had shown itself to me. It had shown itself to be true. It had shown itself to be the very power that could release me from the darkness that had engulfed me and almost taken my life.
From that day forward, my beloved listeners, my faith in God and the Power of Prayer grew stronger and I became a believer and a practitioner of prayer. The Power of Prayer has changed me and my life for the better and it can change your life too.
Wherever you are in the world, perhaps you are going through a dark time in your life right now. A time when you cannot seem to find a way out. A time when you just don't know what to do.
Whatever your situation may be. Whatever problems or obstacles are before you, my beloved brother, my beloved sister, I am here to tell you as a witness, that the mighty Power of Prayer will bring you out. God can make a way out of no way when we call unto him.
Prayer is the bridge that will connect you with the Greatest Source of Power in the Universe, Almighty God. It will connect you with the Divine Presence of God within you, I AM. It will connect you with Beloved Jesus, Beloved Saint Germain, All the Great Ascended Masters, the Cloud of Witnesses, Beloved Archangel Michael, and the Heavenly Host.
Yes, my beloved listeners, you have been given great power that you may not be using as you should. Now is the time for you to lift it up! Now is the time to call down the Light of God that Never Fails to overcome whatever is trying to conquer your soul. Now is the time to save our nations and our world through your mighty Sceptor of Power - your Prayers.
Your Prayer Power will turn things upside down, inside out, and right side up. Remember, things may be impossible with man, but with God all things are possible. Prayer is your bridge. The time is now to cross over it!
Oh my beloved brothers and sisters, pray with your whole heart. Believe with your whole heart, for he tells us, “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."
Perhaps you can't figure your way out of your situation...but God can. You only need faith the size of a mustard seed to say to the mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move, and nothing will be impossible to you.
During this time of upheaval all over the world, invoke the power of prayer and join forces with other prayer warriors as well. Call down the power of God. Call down the Great I AM. Call down all the Great Ascended Masters and Angelic Hosts. Call down the Powers of the Light of God that Never Fails.
Oh, my beloved brothers and sisters, Prayer is our Scepter of Power and now, more than ever before, is the time to lift it up....
Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. -Jeremiah 33:3
