🎙️ Season 4, Episode 6: Holding Space with My Friend Dave 🌟🎨
In this deeply personal episode of Art Therapy Is, Jenn reflects on returning to the podcast after the loss of Dave, co-founder of the My Friend Dave Project. Dave was a guiding light in supporting marginalized and vulnerable men through creative expression, and his passing in May made recording this episode particularly challenging.
Together, we explore why the My Friend Dave Project has been so impactful, meeting people where they are, holding space with dignity, and fostering connection through creativity. Jenn shares the lessons learned from this work and the importance of providing resources and support for vulnerable populations.
This episode wraps up Season 4 and looks ahead to Season 5, which will focus on art therapists working with marginalized communities, highlighting the vital work being done and the urgent need for more accessible resources.
