After a lifetime of feeling like she had to shrink to fit in, be the person she felt she was supposed to be, judging her body, and that constant feeling like she wasn’t good enough caught up with her in the form of a life-threatening diagnosis, actually two of them within 6 months of each other. Sometimes life will give us subtle signs that we need to change, sometimes they’re not so subtle.
