The School of Self Reinvention

002: Reinvention After Addiction - with Mary Kominska

Sandy Wade Season 1 Episode 2

Today's guest is Mary Kominska, who reinvented herself after a serious 10 year-long drug addiction.   Her reinvention story is an inspirational tale of overcoming the wreckage of having teenage parents, and a dad who leaves her with an abusive mom addicted to drugs and alcohol.  Mary is now 21 years sober and a successful business owner.  She started her own thriving Avon business and is doing amazing!  I wanted to talk to Mary to find out how someone can go through everything she’s been through and truly reinvent their life to come out the other side.  Actually, not only come out other side but to thrive on the other side.

Hear how she was saved from addiction and never looked back.  How she had to also help her son battle a serious heroin addiction.  Mary shares a powerful story of how forgiveness played a major role in her healing process, not just the forgiveness of her mom, but forgiving herself.
