WNBA and CBS Sports College Basketball Analyst Isis “Ice” Young joins Glenn on the Field to share her media training strategies for athletes. Isis shares how she helps athletes master confidence in front of the camera, handle tough questions with poise, and shine in the spotlight. She discusses how to use her four-step process—B.E.T.A. before stepping into an interview, along with methods for answering difficult questions, using pauses effectively, and how to eliminate fillers like “um,” “like,” and “you know.” She also breaks down how to prepare for the three types of interviews:  reporter sit-downs, press conferences and panels, and impromptu in- and post-game moments; media interview mistakes to avoid, the importance of proper mannerisms, and how to speak with presence when the mic is on.
