When their neighbourhood was struck by a series of car and motorbike burglaries, Nathan and Trent Torkar knew they had to take action. With trial and error, they designed their own GPS tracker and called it Solid GPS - a vehicle tracking tech business that keeps your prized possessions protected.
In this episode, we sit down with Nathan Torkar - the co-founder of Solid GPS. We chat about his journey in the tech industry, the challenges of being a young business owner and how he and his brother created a product from the ground up. The brother duo were determined to have their own business and spent 3 years exploring all sorts of ideas including document security, dropshipping and e-bike kits to finally launching Solid GPS. In four years they have tripled their warehouse space at CLIK Collective, have a couple of thousand customers and 300 + reviews they are super proud of.
