How to create a glitch- monologues- season 42- chapter 2.
This is season 42 of how to create a glitch in the matrix monologues episode 2. In this episode, we will be drawing our discussion of fault lines back to episode 9 of season 39.
As explained in season 39 episode 9, cognitive dissonance created by trauma prevents verbalization of corresponding behaviours and impedes the natural process of dissolution of dissonant consensualities through affirmational narratives. This means that historical traumas generate dissonant consensualities. Since we know that dissonant consensualities separate ideologically opposed groups, or rationalizations, we can see that fault lines within the psyche manifest as fault lines within society. This means at the root of societal fault lines are historical traumas created by conflict and disaster in its many forms.
Ultimately, historical traumas prevent emotional calibration to particular eras in the past, both for individuals and society as a whole. Since we know that the system funnels individuals into historical ideological conflicts to eliminate social entropy in the present, we recognize that resolution of those ideological conflict requires verbalization of the associated traumatic experiences to eliminate the cognitive dissonance surrounding affirmational narratives. Thus, separation of individuals by ideological divide must allow for the generation of an effective rationalization system on either side of the divide to process those experiences and eliminate the cognitive dissonance.
But, ultimately, this follows progressivist logic, and the desensitization of the population, integration of all 9 dialogues within a single linear stream. The question becomes. Do you want to be integrated? Do you want to be ignorant of the system? Do you want to be a willing participant in the erosion of our social and cultural fabric toward the end of economic coupling of decontextualization. I personally imagine a world where we are free to create as we see fit, whether it be material or product that people want, or not. I imagine a world where the future is decided by narratives of the present rather than narratives of the past.
There are ultimately two ways of eliminating the fault lines within society. The first is through destroying the memories and producing cultural dislocation so that they are obscured and irretrievable. Culture is the true oil that industrialized society burns. The second is through verbalization of those traumatic experiences, exposure of the past, so that cognitive dissonance surrounding those traumatic experiences is released. There are essentially two directions that the system can go. I prefer the latter.
Fault lines are also created by the dialectic between spatial non consensuality and archetypal alignments. Archetypal alignments create familial links which generate familial and lineal tonics. These links produce a kind of feudalism through consensuality, which aggregates expectation matching intergenerationally. Spatial non consensual tonics generate fragmentation of these "plates" of archetypally defined territory. These two forms of tonics produce two distinct kinds of states. One associated with a strong, centralized government (archetypal tonics) and the other associated with a fragmented, bottom up state, which must be federalist.
