AJ Surrell from Missouri - Miss Route 66 2022

Aj Surrell is in her first year of competing in the Miss America Organization, and won the title of Miss Route 66 upon competing in her first local competition. She has been able to use her passion for the performing arts and creating accessible experiences for everyone through her social impact initiative, The Show Must Go On. She is a graduate from Lindenwood University, and received her degree in Advertising and Strategic Communications. She also completed two Disney College Programs while receiving her degree as well. She plans to use the scholarship funds earned through her time in the Miss America Organization to attend the University of Chicago and earn her Masters in Disability and Human Development.
