Naomi Katz:

Welcome to Satisfaction Factor, the Podcast where we explore how ditching diet culture makes our whole lives more satisfying. Welcome back to an unexpected satisfaction factor Podcast. I'm Naomi cats and intuitive eating body image and self trust coach.

Sadie Simpson:

I'm Sadie Simpson, a group fitness instructor, personal trainer and intuitive eating counselor. And surprise, we are actually here this week, but only for a few minutes. Last week, we let you know that we are shifting into an every other week podcast format, which we are in fact doing. But we wanted to share a little bit about our new podcast community dissatisfaction space, because enrollment is officially open as of today.

Naomi Katz:

Yeah, so this won't be a full episode, it's just going to be a quick update, giving you the inside scoop on what the satisfaction space is all about and an opportunity to enroll.

Sadie Simpson:

Yeah, we talk pretty often on here about the importance of building community in a way that's in alignment with our values. But sometimes that can be really hard to do, especially in real life. And the Internet can be a really great place to meet other people who share similar values, who have similar interests, and are working towards similar goals. And also, that's how we met, we met on the internet, and we want to meet lots of other people too, especially folks who listen to this podcast.

Naomi Katz:

Yeah, absolutely. I love a good internet friend. Internet friends are the best. So the satisfaction space was designed to support listeners of the satisfaction factor podcast, in diving deeper into the work of disengaging from diet culture. And we're going to do that with the support of a private virtual community of folks who share similar values and interests, bonus content during the podcast off week's monthly live virtual hangouts with us. So think things like q&a sessions, mini group coaching sessions and more. And a community feed where you can post your comments or questions and you can get feedback from us, as well as from your fellow community members,

Sadie Simpson:

we create a dissatisfaction space specifically for folks who are in the process of ditching diet culture and are interested in incorporating intuitive eating, and anti diet practices. And we wanted to make a space that was really free of diet and weight loss talk a place where people could share their experiences with others on the same path. And of course, we wanted to have a spot to get to know listeners of the satisfaction factor podcast and for our listeners to get to know each other and for us just to have a bigger conversation outside of just the two of us talking to each other. Yeah,

Naomi Katz:

absolutely. Like, if you have ever found yourself listening to the podcast, and wishing that you could contribute to the conversation, make a comment, ask a question, anything like that? That is absolutely what the space is for. Yes. And we are really super excited to support you in this way. And for you to have a space to explore how ditching diet culture makes your whole life more satisfying.

Sadie Simpson:

Yes, so this is a paid community. But it was really important for us when deciding to make this a paid community to make this financially accessible. And at the same time, we really needed to make this podcast sustainable. So it's $10 a month, you can cancel it anytime. And this is a great way for listeners to not only support themselves by engaging in community but also to support us and to access low cost q&a sessions or mini coaching sessions. Up until now both of us have each offered one on one coaching and group coaching programs. And some of those things come at a higher price range, or maybe the groups made at a time that are accessible to your schedule within the satisfaction space. We wanted to create a space that was not only financially accessible, but didn't take a lot of your time. And you could get a lot of value out of it. Yeah,

Naomi Katz:

I like the you know, it's it's accessible. It's low cost, it's high value. It's high accessibility, kind of all of that stuff.

Sadie Simpson:
