Elsewhere, at Wembley, Crystal Palace maintained their record of facing Manchester outfits at Wembley, but will an impressive looking City kill the neutrals dream.
In Scotland, Aberdeen did their third place credentials no harm when a Nisbet strike against his former side halted Hibernian's unbeaten run at 17. And, yes, Dunfermline failed to score again.
