Welcome And Ground Rules

SPEAKER_00

Hello everybody, welcome to today's episode of Walk With Me. I am your host, JJ. It's good to have each and every one of you here. So glad that you guys who are coming back and uh over and over and over. And I love the fact you guys are sending me questions. We have a lot to cover today. We're just gonna get right into it. I love each and every one of you. Thanks for liking and sharing and listening. Thank you very much. Big shout out to my sponsors, two bars the lyricist, explicit creations. We do have a lot to cover today. Uh, but I do want to get the rules out of the way, especially today. We're gonna be doing a lot of scriptural referencing. So, and for the sake of time, I may only read one or two verses, but the rule of this podcast is to pause the podcast when there's a scriptural reference, pause the podcast. I know I just added this part, but pause it, read the verse or two above or the verse or two below, but prefer preferably the whole chapter because context is key, and we're going to talk about why that is key today. Now, if you've been with us um any length of time, you know that we're in this end time Bible study, and we have come to a very pivotal, uh pivotal point um of where we are in this end time. Um, and we are coming to the part where if you've been in church any length of time, or if you've lived forgotten a length of time, or if you've seen a lot of people preaching any length of time, you notice that you will notice that uh preachers don't generally preach the Bible past this part, not in depth, which is kind of a shame, but I understand why, and we're gonna get into that. Um, I believe that the reason why people really don't really preach it past this point is because they feel as if the church is going to be gone anyway. That's right. We are talking about the the time in the end times where the rapture would have happened. Now, the book of Revelation doesn't explicitly say that, however, there are some hints, and then there are other uh scriptural references in the New Testament that really talk about it. Now, please understand that before we get into uh the what what people like to refer to as the exciting part, I still don't know why we do that, but you know, I'm just gonna say it because that's just how it is. Um people will people want to hear what's gonna happen, and and so please understand that me personally, I am a person who really believes in a literal interpretation of Revelation. We we really have to remember that the Revelation is a book of a lot of symbols, and there are a lot of language and context that has to be taken into consideration um as far as trying to figure out if things are literal or symbolic. So, like and and you will see this phrase, especially in the sixth chapter Revelation, you will see the phrase as it were. Now, if you see that phrase as it were, what it's basically saying is that it's telling us that what will follow will be of a more symbolic nature rather than of a literal nature. So when you see that phrase as it were, it's it's more of a uh symbolic nature and it's sort of a figurative. So you say, um, just to give an example, there was a loud noise as if it were a cow falling off the table. Like you've never seen a cow fall off the table, but it's just basically to draw the picture or reference of what you're talking about. So you gotta keep in mind that when John is writing things, he's gonna write things as he saw them and as he heard them. And much of it is gonna be describing the judgments of God from this point on. And in this sort of technical age that you and I live in, John would have no idea how to describe these things. He wouldn't know what a 747 chat looks like, he wouldn't know what um social media is, he wouldn't know what an atomic bomb would look like. So, like a lot of us in the military, uh military background, you would say, Hey, I'm gonna drop a sun on you. And basically, that's dropping an atomic bomb. So the and but anyone who is not really well versed in that sort of terminology would not understand how you could take a sun that's in the sky and drop it on you. So we have to really kind of um pay attention to how John is saying some things, and this is why a lot of preachers won't preach past the fifth chapter of Revelation, because now in the sixth chapter of Revelation, a lot of things will be in a figurative sense, and it's difficult to uh how do you say it's difficult to sort of interpret them, especially if you're in a literal sense or trying to tell people what's gonna happen. So as we go forward, please understand, y'all walkers, please understand if we go forward, the we're going to focus a lot on how John saw things. We're gonna uh thaw, we're gonna really go down through the way John interpreted things, and please understand these are not meant to be final explanations. A lot of things that I'm gonna tell you is probably gonna be out of the book of JJ. Um, you based on some of the observations that we are seeing in uh John's uh view. All right, however, there are some things that are going to be consistent. Number one, that things are going to happen in chronological order. Uh, once we start with the first seal, this thing will last seven years. The revelation will happen last seven years, and this is why um I am of a firm belief that the reason why people do not, preachers do not preach past the this book of Revelation is because there's a common sort of unspoken belief that the rapture somehow happens prior to the sixth chapter of Revelation, and is somewhere right close to the beginning of the sixth chapter of Revelation. Now, does the Revelation say that? It sort of alludes to it, um, but it doesn't really expressly say it. What you do see is a lot of scriptural references in the New Testament as far as what the rapture is. Now, we've talked about it before, but I don't mind talking about it again. What is the rapture? The rapture is um, in a nutshell, a sudden taking of people who are living for God and are sinless at the time of Jesus' returning. Now, the Bible talks about it a lot, Paul talked about it a lot, Jesus spoke about it a lot. Um, Matthew 24, he spoke about it. Um, and and he talked about how we're if you read down towards uh verse 38, 24, and 38. For in the days that were before the flood, they were eating, drinking, and giving in marriage, and the day that Noah entered the ark and knew not until the flood came and took them all away. So shall the coming of the Son of Man be. Now, here's where I want you to pay attention. Then shall two be in the field, one taken and the other left. Two should women shall be grinding at the mill, one shall be taken and the other left. Jesus also spoke about a uh the uh parable of the ten wives and ten foolish, where you had ten virgins that was already ready to go to be married, but only five had enough oil to make it through the wedding ceremony. And then when they realized that they tried to go out and get the oil that they needed, but when they had come back, they realized the wedding ceremony had already been taking place and they could not get into the wedding ceremony. Uh, there's another one where the guide um was showed up at the wedding dinner and he didn't have on a wedding garment, and the king saw him and said, Hey, what are you doing here? And uh the guy didn't have any words, and he got thrown out and he got cast into quote-unquote outer darkness. So there's a lot of references that Jesus spoke about, but this is the one scripture reference that a lot of us who believe in the rapture will hold to because this encapsulates everything into one verse. First Thessalonians 4 16 for the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the crowd, and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore, comfort one another with these words. Now, a lot of people will try to discourage or discredit this these things as not being the rapture because the word rapture does not appear in the Bible, it does not appear. This is that one moment that in a lot of different scriptural settings that there is some moment that everything changes, and once the church is out of the way, as a matter of fact, there's a scripture that I don't have a hand on right now where it says, Well, the church should be taken out of the way, and then the son of perdition be revealed. And we talked about that a few weeks ago, where the son of perdition is the antichrist, and the antichrist will not be revealed until the rapture of the church has happened. I don't care who you think is uh the Antichrist, you can have as many theories as you want, but that person is not revealed until the church has been raptured away. Why? Because the Bible says so, and we're gonna talk about that today. All right, so um, now with the breaking of the first wheel, like I said, it's gonna be a period of seven years, and there's a lot of uh different names that the Bible referred to it. You'll you'll hear about it being the day of the Lord, uh, the day of Jacob's trouble, the day of darkness, vengeance of God, the tribulation of the great tribulation. Now, me personally, I believe that the tribulation and the great tribulation, while being the same time frame, are divided into two different things. You're gonna have the tribulation, which is the first three years, and the great tribulation, which is the second three and a half years. I'm sorry, first three and a half years of the tribulation, second uh part of that is the great tribulation, which is three and a half years. So three and a half and three and a half, seven. So, um now keep in mind that 14 chapters deal with this from Revelation chapter six to Revelation chapter 19. So the very vast bulk of the book of Revelation will deal with this period, and during this time, it's gonna be just almost non-stop judgment of God, and it's going to be basically poured out on people who have rejected God. Um, and there's gonna be a couple different phases. You're gonna have actually three three phases. You're gonna have the seals, the trumpets, and the vials. And these trumpet judgments are gonna actually bring forth the seals, and the vial judgments gonna come from the trumpets. The trumpets come from the sorry, the seals bring the trumpets, the trumpets bring the vials. It's important, very important to get these uh straight. And the reason why is because you'll see in the in the as we go along that um the as you get further into the judgments, it just gets worse and worse. And and keep in mind, I want you to understand something. When you I don't want to get ahead of myself, so the judgments are gonna take place like this the seals, the revelation is gonna be chapter six, one through nine, sorry, nineteen, and then verse 21. The trumpets is gonna happen uh between Revelation 8 and 6 through 19, and then verse 21, and then the vials is gonna be Revelation 16, 1 through 19, and verse 21. What did you notice? Something that we just talked about, every single one of them will have uh sort of climax around verse 21. I didn't write it, it's just something that I noticed, and I I do believe that the seven and the three are are important. Seven times three is twenty-one. So I and I'm not sure why God made it that way. I'm not doing these people who just run around just picking up picking numbers out of the air, but it they all climax around verse 21 in these settings. So let's get into it. Um also before before I do, you gotta understand too that um there are texts in the Bible which are what's the word, parenthetical. Um, and and these are sort of explanations that are are between the opening of the the six and seven seals. That's why there's that gap. There's always a gap, like in Revelation 7, um, and then the blowing of the six and seventh trumpet, like Revelation 12 to 15. And these parenthetical explanations are in there so that we can get a better understanding of what's going on, and um, and also to kind of have a running narrative for the order of the judgments, and we could leave them out, but it just wasn't it wouldn't it wouldn't um it wouldn't do us justice in understanding what's going on. So, seven seals, six trumpets uh gonna describe what happened the first three and a half years, and the vile judgments are gonna describe what take place in the second three and a half years. So let's talk about the first seal. I I wanted to get to at least a couple of the seals today. Let's talk about the first seal. That's Revelation 6, 1 and 2. Now, with the first cities, this is gonna be four seals, and with the first of these four seals, we're gonna see what's called the the four riders. Now, these um the way John describes it, they're gonna appear on different color horses, and each of these horsemen are gonna be announced um by one of the living creatures that we talked about in the first chapter in a thundering voice. And some of these um voices in some of these translations, you will see the words and see taken out of the book of Revelation, which that's why I pretty much stick with King James Version. Um, and I'll use the NLT as a study guide, but the uh I stick with the King James Version because ANT is important, but you will see a lot of translations will take that out. And the living creature is not speaking to John, but they're speaking to the writer, and these he's gonna cry with a loud voice, the thunder saying, Hey, come. And that look that command is literally obeyed immediately. Each one of these riders, though, when they show up, they don't just show up and ride through and keep it moving. They they come and they stay the entire time of the tribulation. So it's important to get that. Once, let's say, once we have the first rider, he stays. He doesn't just come through and cause a bunch of trouble and then disappear. He stays. Now, this first um white this first rider is often confused with Jesus because the guy is riding on a white horse. Now, it would seem more reasonable though, because the church is already gone, that this first writer would actually be the Antichrist. And the reason why that's the case in 1 Thessalonians 2 and 7 was that scripture I was talking about earlier about the son of perdition being revealed because the church is gone, and he said, And then the wicked shall be revealed. It's reasonable to believe that this first event will be the revealing of the Antichrist. Now, again, this writer should not be confused with Jesus as pictured in Revelation chapter 19, because Jesus is gonna come back on a white horse, too. And a lot of people were like, Oh, yes, that's the first rider. No, it is not. This rider also believes this appears in the um the beginning of Daniel's 70th week, while Christ appears in the 19th and at the end of the week. So this is why it was important that we talked about Daniel as much as we did, because if you don't, then it begins to get very confusing, and then you're looking for the wrong person. Now, this Antichrist, he's gonna appear godly, and he's going to appear like he has all the answers, he's going to appear like um he's he's bringing he's bringing peace, joy, love, and and chicken grease to the world, but he is completely counterfeit. Now, I know every single one of you, every single one of you without fail, listening to this podcast, just put up a picture of somebody that you don't like, some political figure that you don't like in your head. I'm telling you right now, get rid of that picture. Because that is not the Antichrist. The Antichrist has not been revealed because the rapture has not happened. But he's going to be on, he's gonna appear like a white, a knight in shining armor. He's gonna he's gonna be talking about uh peace, he's gonna be talking about how we should disarm because he's gonna the Bible says he's gonna carry a bow with no arrows, he's gonna shed no blood, but he will conquer. Now, but how how does that happen? How do you conquer people without shedding blood? And it it is by manipulation and deception. Here's a good idea, here's a question, and this is just something to think about. What is the easiest way to fool people these days? All you gotta do is keep repeating the same narrative over and over and over. Half the people will accept it, and the other half will reject it. However, in the days of the Antichrist, when that narrative comes out, a vast majority of people are going to believe it because they're going to be deceived. This guy is whoever this guy antichrist is, guy, gal, whatever, whoever it is, is going to imitate Christ down to the letter. And but it but and that's why the Bible says many will be deceived. Many, so even so-called Christians are going to be deceived, thinking that this is Jesus. Um, but it's going to be a false Christ, and the offers of peace will also be false. And Jesus said it. I again, this is just pain across my head. I can't remember that it's scripture, where it's where he said um where he will say something about peace and safety and sudden destruction will come upon. I tell you what, you walkers, put the comment down the put their right verse down in the uh comment here. In the comment section, no matter what platform you are, put it on the comment section. Now, a lot of people, including me, at one point, thought that this first writer could be the Pope of the Catholic Church. Um, you know, he's a well-known guy, uh, he has he's known all over the world, he has great influence. Um, and a lot of people, even among apostolics, think that the Antichrist is the current Pope. And it doesn't matter which Pope it is. Whoever that that person is, when the rapture of the church happens, uh, there they think that it's going to be that pope. However, I do not think so. I think the pope will have some play in as far as the beast and the false religion and that kind of thing, but I do not think it will be the pope, it'll be someone else. Because remember, we don't know that person. That person is hidden. If it's not been revealed, it is hidden. So therefore, I don't believe the pope is the antichrist. Now, do I have enough time to get into this second seal? Let me quickly tell. On the second seal, and then we can be done with today. The second seal is going to happen in Revelation 6, 3, and 4. This second rider, and this is going to be a bad thing. The second rider is going to come through on a red horse. And this represents bloody warfare. You know how we just talked about how the Antichrist said there's going to be peace. And Jesus said they're going to be hollering peace and safety, and then sudden destruction will come upon them. This is where this is fulfilled. Now, this false peace that was promised by that first writer is going to actually shatter so suddenly you're not going to even understand where it's coming from. Like everybody's going to be joined in hands and singing kumbaya, and everybody's lovely, and all of a sudden, you're going to have worldwide war. This is not Armageddon. This is just a worldwide conflict. And this is because you're going to have a lot of hatred that's going to break out among uh people. And then we just will not be peaceful anymore. It's just it's just going to be a very bad way. You think you think crime and stuff is bad now? Wait until that day. You do not want to be here, you want to be in heaven looking down on you. Trust me. Um, but keep in mind because this this guy on this red horse is going to be given a great sword, and the result is going to be violence and bloodshed. Now, a lot of people call the devil the great red dragon, which is in Revelation 12 and 3. And this rider will be the devil's representative. And it's very foolish to believe that there can be peace as long as you have godless people in command of you know the world governments. Again, anybody you just had pictured in your head, get rid of that picture. I'm telling you, this is not it. Now, can the people that that you like suddenly become godless? Yes. The people that you didn't like suddenly become godly, yes. After the rapture, though, this will not happen. Everybody, whether you like them before or not, will be godless because the spirit of God is going to be taken out of this world, and I can't stress that enough. Alright? Now you're gonna see as we get more towards Revelation 17. I'm trying not to get ahead of myself, that there's going to be an apostate assembly that's gonna call themselves the church that's still here. So, um, and that is actually going to give rise to what we call the false religion. Again, I'm really trying not to get ahead of myself because we have so much to cover. We're just in the second field. We have the Antichrist, and then we're gonna have a global conflict that's going to kill a lot of people. Now, I'm gonna ask you something. Do you think that that uh false religious, that political religious system, which will be sort of a uh Nicolacian sort of system where the politics and the religion are married together? Do you think it could be introduced here or do you think it'd be introduced later? I I think it's going to start being introduced toward the end of this conflict, right before the third seal, and we'll get into that. But we are out of time, we are out of time next week. We're gonna talk about that third seal, um, hopefully get into the fourth seal, and then we're going to, and again, let me tell you something, y'all. We don't want to miss this rapture. Um, I was doing the I was doing some math when it comes to Revelation, and I I was doing the math as it were today. Um once the rapture of the church happens, and let's just say after the rapture of the church, eight billion people left on the planet. I hope it's less, but let's just say that that's what it is. Two billion people will die during that first war. After that, you only two by the time everything is said and done, only two billion will be left because you have a 75% chance of dying within the next seven years. So my suggestions, Walker, is to get right with God now. Get right with God now while you still have a chance. All right. I'm only saying this because I love you, because when we start getting into these trumpets and these vials, you're gonna see just how bad it is and why a lot of preachers simply avoid it. All right. I love each and every one of you. Hope to see y'all in the next one. Remember, thank you for liking, sharing. Thank you for sending me questions to uh salute. I'm sorry, walkwithme bible study at gmail.com, walkwithme bible study at gmail.com. Love you all. Have a good
